\\\"according to the garuda\\\'s Blue and Orange Morality, it was less the rape than [[spoiler: Yagharek\\\'s]] removal of his victim\\\'s choice not to have sex with him that the garuda find unacceptable.\\\"

That\\\'s the textbook definition of what rape \\\'\\\'is\\\'\\\'? The thing that makes rape a crime is that it ignores the victim\\\'s right to choose whether or not to have sex? I arrived on this page via a multiwebsite WikiWalk and don\\\'t know the novel, but that sentence is \\\"it was less the rape than the rape that the garuda find unacceptable,\\\" and I can\\\'t imagine any way for that to make sense.
