Then again, this is kind of an interesting dilemma: how do you treat that which shows up in a \\\"foreign\\\" continuity? Does \\\'\\\'Film/AlienVsPredator\\\'\\\' belong to the \\\'\\\'Film/{{Alien}}\\\'\\\' franchise, the \\\'\\\'Franchise/{{Predator}}\\\'\\\' franchise, both franchises, or its own (I would argue both \\\'\\\'and\\\'\\\' its own)? Does \\\'\\\'Alien\\\'\\\' and \\\'\\\'Predator\\\'\\\' (or for that matter \\\'\\\'Film/ANightmareOnElmStreet\\\'\\\' and \\\'\\\'Film/FridayThe13th\\\'\\\') become a single franchise after the crossover, despite not being conceived that way (I would argue that they do not)?

Regardless, I don\\\'t think it should matter in this case. The films are meant to be viewed as a whole, without forcing it upon the viewers to keep up with one \\\"sub-series\\\" to understand another if they don\\\'t want to (kind of like how you don\\\'t have to read \\\'\\\'Literature/TheSilmarillion\\\'\\\' to understand \\\'\\\'Literature/TheLordOfTheRings\\\'\\\', even though it certainly helps).
