Once the steam (aka YMMV\\\'s \\\"lock\\\") dies down, can someone make notice that Slade (TTG) and Screenslaver (Incredibles 2) [[CounterpartComparison seem quite similar]]?

* Both specialize in manipulation and hypnosis.

* Both [[spoiler:have a female alias that has a name that when you listen closely (\\\"Jade\\\" Wilson, \\\"Evelyn Devor\\\" sounds like Evil Endeavor), is [[CaptianObviousReveal blatantly obvious]] that they\\\'re actually the villain of the movie]].

* In the climax of the movie, they both use [[spoiler:a hyped event as a ploy]] to brainwash [[spoiler:an army of superheroes, eventually including the main character (Elastigirl and Robin get brainwashed) themselves, but leaving a small group to take care of them, with some something babyish and heartwarming as the way to stop the brainwashing (Jack-Jack uses psychic to take off Elastigirl\\\'s goggles, the Teen Titans show their \\\"movie\\\" to Robin which makes him realize that it wasn\\\'t all about mocking him) ]].

* A difference seems to be that while Evenlyn, the seemingly friendly one, made a villain persona, Slade, the villain, made a seemingly friendly persona.
