I don't have the time and energy to go to the Trope Repair Shop, but I will note here that this and ForGreatJustice seem to be absolutely confused about what they're about. ForGreatJustice doesn't know whether it's character motivation or something stated in the narration, and this trope doesn't know whether it's the principle that good guys win or characters stating they have that motivation.

Also, note that there is the difference between the BigGood of a story and the BigGood of a work. The Kais may be the BigGood of the setting as a whole (or at least \"Big Good Wannabe\", but you wouldn\'t say they\'re a BigGood of an arc where they weren\'t involved.
