Your spiel on AmbiguousSituation isn\'t really helping, only serving to back up the \'ambiguous\'. I say again, it happens in the middle of the episode and we haven\'t seen what happens since. We don\'t even have the fight you say we do, since it hasn\'t happened yet. He qualifies, and that\'s that. Ironwood could be in the working of a HeroicSacrifice, NotQuiteDead, or NeverFoundTheBody. I can think of easy ways any of them could be applied.

This is a situation where not knowing enough isn\\\'t a disqualifier--in fact, not knowing enough is exactly what makes the trope work, so you can hardly cut it on that basis. It\\\'s contradicting.

Don\'t blow it out of proportion. It\'s relevant and it fits, so it shouldn\'t be cut just because it takes up room (which you seem to do a lot). It can be edited later when it\'s no longer relevant and, by the very nature of AmbiguousSituation, very likely will.

We do, after all, have between one and three weeks for this to become permanent or be disqualified.

You are completely misunderstanding and misusing the OutOfFocus trope, for one. OutOfFocus refers to lack of focus or character development in spite of presence over any given episodic series.
