resolved Cartoon where a girl and a dragon get something stolen every episode Western Animation
Once they realize something is missing, they summon a wizard who shows them a bunch of magic doors. They go though these doors until they find something that's like the thing that was stolen from them except infinite. They give that thing to the person or creature who stole from them to get all their stuff back. In one episode, all their drinks are stolen by an infinitely thirsty guy, and they give him a bottle of water that automatically refills itself. In another, their strings and ropes are stolen by a creature that tries to build a massive ball of string, and they give it an infinite ball of yarn.
Edited by Hqamiresolved Two kids with special 'alien' abilities (solved) Film
As much as the title may allude to Race to Witch Mountain, which I've watched, that's not what I'm referring to here. I can't remember when I saw it so give or take 5-10+ years ago.
A brother and sister (I highly assume they were anyway) found some strange objects one day, some of which were these black irregularly-shaped rocks which the girl later found that she could spin like tops. No one, not even her brother could get that to happen; only she had that ability.
The brother on the other hand had somehow harnessed an ability of portals, and there was this one scene where he went golfing with his father, who wasn't aware of this alien stuff happening. When it was the boy's turn to play, his ball got shot into a portal when he hit it, and as a result landed much further. The father either whoas or whistles, then replies "Looks like you found your sport!"
The objects were then returned in the end somehow, and the special abilities left with them. That's everything I remember.
Edited by BlackFaithStarresolved A girl runs away to an island in Canada (I think) Literature
I read this one in fifth grade. A teenage girl runs away in the wake of her older sister Jam's death. She had an eight-step disappearance plan that involved changing her clothes in an airport bathroom and flushing stuff that could identify her down the toilet, and it ends with her on an uninhabited island that I think was in Canada. She lives there for months, possibly a year. Once a guy comes to the island to look for her, but he doesn't do a very good job - he just wanders around calling her name. When she decides to leave the island, he's the first person she meets. He doesn't recognize her because her time in the wilderness has changed her so much.
resolved Autobiography comic book about a little girl in former Soviet Union Print Comic
There was this comic book I once got my hands on briefly. It was an autobiography about a little girl living in one eastern block country. I think it was either Poland or Ukraine.
The front cover depicted the girl holding a plush toy while standing among soviet soldiers who were only shown from waist down - the upper halves of them were beyond the frame.
resolved Are you Bruce Wayne? Solved batman 48 Web Original
I have a question about a Batman comic cover that gets joked about on the internet. Batman is showing a bunch of kids that the batcave is under Wayne manor. Naturally it's been edited so that one of the kids asks if he is Bruce Wayne but what comic is that the cover for?
Edited by dutchguy1986resolved 80s romance film about an Egyptian (?) princess mummy girl Film
I remember watching this 80s romance film on HBO Family a long time back about a guy who falls in love with a resurrected Egyptian (?) princess. I remember one scene focused on the guy's previous jobs, and one of them was a birthday party organizer (?). One scene had him blowing up balloons a child was holding, causing said child to fly away. Oh, and it had an animated opening sequence set to some pop song. Anybody remember the name?
resolved The conman anime
I read from a magazine about a recent (last 2 years) anime that was about a Caper Crew and consisted of some kind or arcs. I can't remember any names.
resolved Silly "horror" web game Videogame
A few years ago I stumbled upon a rather silly "horror" flash Point-and-Click game that I had no idea how to beat.
It was from a first person POV and you began in some underground passage of sort. If you didn't move quickly and shut a door behind you a ridiculous Humanoid Abomination with crossed arms would pop from under the screen. Still it was rather funny than scary.
If you managed to get away succesfully you ended up in a dark forest of sorts with multiple paths to go. One led you to an area where a black humanoid figure with eyes all over it was scuttling erratically. If you poked it too eagerly it engulfed the entire screen while suddenly acquiring a mouth. It proceeded to trash-talk and then kill you. That's all I remember.
Edited by sohibilresolved SOLVED - Children's serial with fugitive Native American teenage boy Live Action TV
This was an American or Canadian serial aimed at older children that I watched in the afternoon children's programming slot on BBC 1 in the UK in the late '70s or early '80s. It may have been repeated in the mornings during the school holidays.
The main character was a Native American or First Nations teenager who wrongly thought he had accidentally killed his bully in a fight and went on the run. The main memory I have is of the fight, as that was part of the recap at the beginning of each episode. The fight took place in a shallow stream and the teenager repeatedly said "Apologise!" as he was hitting the bully (I seem to recall the bully hitting the boy's Beserk Button was the reason for the fight).
I've done some searches through the archived listings on the BBC Genome Project and haven't come up with anything. Any help is appreciated.
Edited by Aspectiferresolved Kim Possible skydiving fight
Which episode of Kim Possible has a skydiving fight in it? It's Kim versus some other person, and it ends with her spinning around like a backflip until she kicks them.
resolved [Solved] Movie about a dog turning into human and by the end turns back into a dog Live Action TV
I remember watching this movie on Disney channel Philippines, where a dog turns into a human boy after drinking some strange chemicals from some scientists, I think, the owner helps the dog act like a person, later with his friends helping him and befriending the dog-turned-human. Eventually, the scientists find the dog-boy and try to get him to show the world. but the boy and his friends get him back and gives him a vial that's supposed to turn him back to a dog, at first it doesn't work but they think that he has to forget his time as a human and think more about being a dog, which they succeeded. One of the things that stood out to me was that at the start one of the scientist's experiments were lab rats, one of which had a human ear on its back, and another was that the dog-turned-boy was fond of hot dogs.
Edited by Animaltamerresolved [Solved] anime-esque show about talking fishes Anime
I'm not really sure if it is an anime, but it did air in Hero TV, a channel from the Philippines that primarily aired Filipino dub anime and cartoons, and the show had an anime-esque feel to it. The main character of the show is a goldfish, his best friend is a green turtle, no flippers the normal cartoony look of turtles, and two other characters, a pink jellyfish girl, and a blue seahorse, he had arms and one episode involved him under the command of the bad guys, one of which was an evil sea dragon, and that in a park there were fish statues that turned to live fish, one of which was the jellyfish girl, and were ordered to spit out gold that they accumulated from the day when the park had visitors. Not sure how it ended, but the seahorse and jellyfish joined the goldfish and turtle, becoming friends.
One of the main plot lines that I remembered was that the four had to collect these scales to defeat the evil sea dragon, which I remember another episode where the dragon tricked the four into fighting each other by asking (while disguised) who was the best out of them. I think the title of the show involved the word "bubble", but I could have mistaken that the song is the one with "bubble" in the title.

resolved [Solved] Yo soy el futuro / I am the future Film
About the movie:
There are two people: a woman, pretty sure sitting on the floor, looking at something; and something that was a man, but now he looks like a monster:
- Dark skin, probably to radiation, blood, burns or something like that.
- He still has a human form (two legs, not over 3 meters tall, can speak normally, two eyes, one head).
They are in a white room, with no windows. Even the floor is white. The monster / man looks at the woman and he says I am the future in a deep tone of voice. Shortly after that, a laser appears behind them and starts moving. The monster / man turns arounds and sees it, preparing to dodge it, since its only one laser. At the last second, the laser moves diagonally and turns into a full net or mesh, impossible to dodge. An Oh, Crap! moment. The net cuts the monster in a perfect way, and stops before it can touch the woman, and after that dissapears. Finally, there is a shot showing the woman in shock, and in front of her we can see part of the face of the man slowly falling apart (but blurry), since his entire body is now in pieces.
Regarding when I see that:
I was a kid, and the movie was in a TV in a mall center (you now, when showing new TVs so people buy them). I know it sounds bloody, but since it was shown in a public channel in the middle of the day, maybe wasnt that bad. Im from Mexico, so thats the reason why Yo soy el futuro its in the title. And since the original line could be slighly different, I also write it in spanish, since that is what I remember the most.
The movie is at least 6 years old, but no more than 15, since the mall was more or less new at that time. I dont remember if the movie ended there, since my mom called me so we could go home.
Sorry if my english is broken.
Edited by Braylovskyresolved British tv show about cops, two families and a pedophile Live Action TV
Hello One day when I was on You Tube I remember watching a tv show about two modern families, one was poor and trashy while the other one was sophisticated and I wouldn’t say you’re rich more like well off. They are well known in town for having a rivalry with each other and one night a son from the poor family is found murdered and the cops think that it was someone from the rich family. Now by the end of the first episode, you find out that the girl from the poor family and a boy from the rich family are dating in secret.
I also remember a female cop finds out that one of her male coworkers is a pedophile and he’s dating a teenager, Now her partner also knows but he tells her not to tell anyone because of some kind of coworker mentality I guess. The female cop does not take her male partners advice and keeps on looking into the male cops' activities with the teenage and he finds and jump her with two other, putting her in the hospital. In future episodes, the teen is missing and every cop in town is looking for her and it turns out that the pedophile cop is keeping her in a trailer or something.
And that is all I remember about this TV show can someone here please tell me the name of this TV show because I want to watch it again and again
Thank you and have a good day
Edited by Bl8keresolved Chronicles of Narnia - Aslan (Solved) Literature
So I was looking at the Aslan / Chronicles of Narnia entry under the new Resurrection Gambit trope and it reminded me of something. I seem to recall a version of the story in which, after Aslan comes back to life, either Susan or Lucy questions him, upset, saying something like "Why didn't you tell us if you knew?" and maybe expressing annoyance or upset at his making them worry. And Aslan replies with something like "Didn't know. Hoped, but I couldn't be sure." And he explains that he didn't want to get their hopes up in case somehow it didn't work and he didn't come back.
Does this strike anyone as familiar or does anyone know where this comes from? I checked and it's definitely not a part of the original book and I also checked the film and its not in there either, nor in any deleted scene that I can find or find reference to. I don't think it was any of the old BBC versions either - I'm not sure I ever even saw those and, if I did, it's been so long ago that I don't think it's likely that I would recall any details specific to them, though I wouldn't 100% swear to that.
Edited by JMQwilleranresolved (SOLVED) Some nerd falls in love with a rebel girl Film
On Tumblr a hot minute ago, I saw a gifset of this scene from a film.
It had a nerd on the ground saying “I think I’m in love”. Then, the punk anarchist girl standing proudly over him says something to the effect of “Love is a construct meant to bring women down” or something.
Next gif has [ROCK MUSIC PLAYS] with some aura behind here, and the nerd goes “I think I’m REALLY in love”
The film definitely looked to be from the 1980s or 1990s

resolved [SOLVED] Old Italian-like song with English lyrics about Shadows(?) Music
I vaguely remember a certain song that sounded kind of like classic Italian or Spanish serenade. It was sung by a man. The instruments used certainly were a mandolin and an accordion. There was no percussion. From the lyrics I only remember first two words of the chorus: "Shadows never..."
The song is quite old. 50s or 60s of the 20th century.
Any ideas?

On that fateful day where I was expecting to watch The Hippo Tub Company but couldn’t find it on TV anymore, I saw what I think was the beginning of another show that I think utilized the Roger Rabbit Effect. It showed a boy (I think) playing a video game (I think it was on a computer) during a thunderstorm, and at one point when hard lightning struck outside, the characters, who I think were evil, from the boy’s game appeared outside the house. I remember one of those characters telling the others to look at something.
