resolved animated shorts, a moose getting sick Western Animation
trying to figure out a cartoon short i saw when i was a kid. i think the animation style was claymation, but i’m not positive. i remember a moose was playing catch with (i think) a raccoon. the raccoon has a cold though and the moose got some germs in him while playing. there might have been a scene with the germs singing. anyways, the moose got sick. for some reason, he went to a junk yard where some other animal was that tried to help him rest to get better. i think the moose mad a joke about not wanting to lie on a bed because he always tells the truth. i think this might’ve been part of a compilation of shorts because i remember a few details of different stories too... the other things i remember is a short about a boy caveman who was made fun of because he invented utensils and a story about someone locking death/the grim reaper in a chest so no one died. thanks in advance!

Edited by DrNoPumaresolved Animated Movie I Watched In The 2010's That To One Knows About Western Animation
There was this animated movie I watched with my dad sometime during the 2010s. All of the characters were anthropomorphic animals. The main character was an orphan, he grew up with a dog girl who was also an orphan (they were both still kids during the movie) They were raised by an old cat.
The main character's mom used to be evil and she had a magical black/purple orb. His dad was good and he had a magical white/gold orb. They fought for centuries(?) before they ended up falling in love and she turned good.
But even though she wasn't evil anymore the people of MC's dad's kingdom still didn't trust her.
One day when MC was a baby, her orb started freaking out and doing some weird storm magic(???) when she tried to get it under control, the guards thought she was trying to use the orb to destroy the kingdom so they attacked her. Which made the orb even crazier. MC's dad sacrificed himself to save her but she had to run away since people still thought everything was her fault.
She told MC about all of this and told him she needed his help to resurrect his father. But she didn't tell him that they would need to sacrifice 100 (maybe 1000??) souls. There was this big event happening on a big arena and they would do the ritual there since pretty much everyone in the kingdom would be there. MC and his friends were trying to stop her and all of them except MC had their souls taken and turned to stone (everyone whose soul was taken would go back to normal if they managed to stop the ritual before it was completed. They sacrificed themselves because they believed he would succeed).
As the ritual progressed MC's dad was slowly gaining consciousness and the whole time he was just helplessly looking around as he watched his people turn to stone. MC was about to stop the ritual but his mother didn't let him.
Then there was this scene where the ritual was almost complete. She looked at her husband and saw how upset he was. And he just looked at her and smiled sadly, silently begging her to let him go. She sacrificed herself to stop the ritual and give everyone their souls back.
I can't find this movie ANYWHERE but I KNOW it exists, I know I didn't just make it up. I REALLY want to watch it again so if you could find it it would mean the world to me <3
Edited by Cupid23resolved weed powered super hero? Western Animation
All I remember is one episode where a girl buys a plant that was laced with something from a dealer who had a song, and sees a giant made of weed who also sings.
resolved Children's Show Where Everyone is a Blob Western Animation
I just saw a glimpse of this show on Nick Jr. Asia but didn't get the title. It's a British Slice of Life cartoon where everyone is a colored anthro-ish blob, with the orange one kinda looking like Arthur. In the glimpse of the episode I just saw, the main characters turn into moles and dig around the world, but I don't know if it was an Imagine Spot or if they're shapeshifters.
resolved Chinese Zodiac Warriors Western Animation
There was this series, I think it was on Nickelodeon, where there were some warriors that got power from some armbands that represented the chinese zodiac, and the main character had the dragon armband. But there were also a dark version of each one, and the Big Bad used the protagonist's twin sister as a minion, and gave her the dark dragon armband.
resolved Weird cartoon on DVD Western Animation
Basically my nan had dozens of DV Ds me and my siblings used to watch when I went over to her house. They were mostly from late 90s to mid 2000s (Sonic Underground, Ant bully, Digimon adventure). One of these shows I cannot remember the title of, and have not seen at all since. It was about a boy and a girl I think. I'm pretty sure they were brother and sister. I don't exactly remember what they look like, but they gave off raggedy Ann / Andy vibes (similar colour scheme). There was also a professor character, who had a white shirt, a red vest, a blue graduation cap (I think), with white air and a long, rectangular, postman-pat like head. We wore round glasses, and had a cylindrical nose. I think there may have also been some yellow on him, but I am unsure. There was also a 'mascot' character. The kind with a really simple design that pretty much spoke in gibberish. I think he just white, small and fluffy. With that cereal-mascot face. He had no interesting features. No ears or tail or anything. Just stubby arms and legs, and a face. There were probably other characters, but I have no clue what they look like. The only episode that I can remember was one where one of the siblings (the girl I think) wanted to grow some flowers, so the professor guy made a greenhouse for her, as well as some fertiliser. The mascot guy ate or like bathed in the fertiliser and ending up becoming a giant or something. I don't remember how this plot actually concluded.
One thing to add is that this DVD was likely made in the UK, but it's possible it never aired on TV, since I can't find any promos for it.
I hope that I can actually find out what show this is one day. So, if anyone on here can help me find it, that'd be great :)
All the best
resolved the world around you is not what it seems Western Animation
I'm looking for the intro of a cartoon that either starts with the line "the world around you is not what it seems" or "the world around us is not what it seems" and might end the second line with dreams. I know that is not a lot but it's all I got
Edited by dutchguy1986resolved Dinosaur Story Telling Western Animation
I recall a show about these dinosaur kids and they told stories, usually classic tales. I remember one was the Emporer's New Clothes, another was Rapunzel and another was the Midas Touch. Anyone else remember?
resolved Animated movie for kids Western Animation
There was this movie that started out with people laughing at their besiegers trying to breach the castle walls, until the besiegers pulled out a really REALLY big cannon. A baby/child was taken away while the castle fell (and was raised by gypsies?). When he was older, at one point he tricked his way past a guard using some sleight of hand with a gold coin. There was a villain who had a tendency to get so ridiculously angry that a cannon's release valve had been fitted to his head, so he could "blow off some steam". I believe at one point he was put to sleep by someone grabbing him and holding the valve open. Anyone remember this?
resolved Clay-mation Series/Short from late 90s/early 2000s starring little playdough creatures? Western Animation
My sibling and I are trying to come up with a clay-mation show that probably aired in the late 90s/early 2000s on TV when we were kids because it had a distinctive intro tune that still gets stuck in their head years later (and is now stuck in mine 😅). The best we can figure is that:
- The aforementioned time range that it probably aired.
- It might have been an interstitial short that either aired between shows on PBS Kids or Nick Jr. (or perhaps on Nickelodeon proper), or perhaps a back-up segment on Sesame Street.
- We've already ruled out Purple and Brown; my sibling didn't recognize it and I cannot recall watching it on TV.
- My sibling describes it as starring little playdough creatures that had no intelligible dialogue, recalling a specific scene of a purple playdough creature jumping into an orange playdough pool and then laughing afterward.
Does that sound like it might ring a bell for anyone else?
resolved Riding Dragons before it was considered cool. Also fighting Orc-like bad guys. Western Animation
There was a classic-drawn fantasy animation set in sort of a post-apocalyptic world where humans rode dragons. They fought some sort of Orc-ish demons who also rode their own dragons. While it was mostly fantasy, there were a lot of technology elements, namely armors and some antagonist had something akin to a lava cannon. The show was brimming with tusked faces, skulls and bats. I vaguely remember a swarm of lizard-like critters with bat wings and one bad guy had a scouting pet in a form of one-eyed dark bat.
resolved Animated black and white Retraux commercial with a spaceship Western Animation
Several years ago (early 2010s) I remember seeing this black and white animated commercial .I think it was a commercial for insurance. It was animated in a style similar to Popeye or Bendy and throughout the commerical the characters were singing.
The commercial ended with the characters flying in a rocketship to the moon (or whatever).
Can someone please tell me the name of the commercial?

Edited by ElBuenCuateresolved Weird Netflix show with 3D animated bears Western Animation
Around 2009-2010 there was a show on Netflix revolving around a family of bears.
The main character, an older sister, was hyped about the trip to the amusement park with her family.
Suddenly, her younger sister becomes completely sick and the trip is forced to be cancelled.
She wishes how she didn't have a sister to worry about anymore. Some sort of being comes to her and tells her how much she'd miss having a sister.
They go over some sorta flashback of all the times she's loved her sister.
Eventually, she gets over not being able to go on the trip and it ends with a happy ending.
resolved No Title Western Animation
I'm looking for a kids show I used to watch in the early 2000s.
Essentially, a unicorn controlled a land with a magical gate. Some other characters included a tiger and a dragon, but that's all I remember. The magical gate would sometimes appear in the "real" world whenever someone gets into trouble and needs time to think about his problems. He or she would sort things out in this magical land beyond the gate and would return to the real world once he learned a moral lesson.
I can almost recall two episode plots: one where a kid was in a race with a bus and one where a medieval knight had to gain the respect of his friends by capturing a dragon.

Back in the 90s when I was four years old my mom rented me a movie and said it was "My Little Pony", but... What I remembered was pretty different from My Little Pony.
For one, the horses had more realistic proportions, and the protagonist was a young human boy. There was a medieval European fantasy setting with thatched roof cottages, and the tone was not as cloying. I distinctly remember a black, shadowy horse, and a fire. Also flying horses, not pegasi, but sort of walking in the air like Santa's reindeer.
Now... It could very well have been My Little Pony and I just have bad memory/my mind playing tricks on me. I was only four afterall. I know the first gen cartoons can get surprisingly tense and maybe I mixed up Megan and Danny, but there is still the possibility it was a completely different movie.
But I don't know of any uh, animated fantasy horse movies from that era other than The Last Unicorn, which matches the proportions and setting I remember, but there isn't a young human boy in it or a shadow horse from what I know.
Sooo, is there some other 90s or earlier animated fantasy movie with horses I could have watched? Or was it indeed My Little Pony or The Last Unicorn and my memory just sucks?
