resolved Cover of “Copacabana” (SOLVED) Music
I’m trying to find a cover of “Copacabana” that is distinctively quieter than the others. It doesn’t have trumpets or anything of the sort, but it does have an acoustic guitar. I keep hearing it, but whenever I try to Shazam it, it shows Barry Manilow’s original version.
EDIT: I found it: https://youtu.be/8_48DLTQfY8
. Barry Manilow also made this.
resolved Obscure soundtrack Music
Anyone knows the score which plays in Alloy Arena
? I admit the music is harder to hear at times but this is the best I could find. I also heard the track in a different game but that one is NSFW, so I can't post links to it here - even if I still could find it. This stuff is rather old.
resolved Paaaaraaaadise! Music
Can anyone make out what the song is this toy clown fish is singing?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB-h6OBCdFk
I remember looking at and listening to this toy in a Cracker Barrel store nearly 20 years ago, but my mind has been stumped trying to identify this song. Unfortunately, the potato quality of this video doesn't really help, but even so, I remember the recording used for the fish was rather unintelligible anyway (as is usually the case with cheap talking/singing toys); I just know that the loop ended with that elongated and stretched out, "Paaaaaaraaaadise!"
resolved Upbeat version of "My Heart Will Go On" Music
It has the same words, but it's faster and more upbeat. It's sung by a black guy who does a falsetto vocalization near the end of the song, and there's a small band playing the instruments, and having a great time. I for the life of me CANNOT remember who did it, and I've looked it up with different keywords, but I can't find it. Can anyone help?
resolved 80s music video with a broken bust Music
I can't remember the name of a song. 80s to early 90s. Dance track, and not a particularly obscure one either. Possibly black-and-white for drama. The music video opens with a plaster bust exploding on the floor.
Edited by Circeusresolved Lightning strike music video Music
I found a bunch of gifs clipped from a music video that I suspect is from around late 1980s/early 1990s.
It appears to be a guy with long hair and a red bandana, playing an orange V-shaped guitar, on top of a skyscraper at "night" and a specisl effects lightning strike comes down behind him.
I found the gifs on Whats App under "fall down hole" but I couldn't find anything searching just that. Any thoughts?
resolved "Soldier" song Music
This
joke video is an I. M. Meen-themed parody of some song I don't know. I can barely make out any of the original lyrics under the vocals there, the title "one meen soldier" is too generic for any leads, YouTube's auto-music finder didn't turn up anything, and it's the video itself has barely any views, resulting in only one comment that isn't a reference.
What song is this?
resolved A song from the 80s about a guy scared of a monster Music
A few months ago, I was riding in my friend's car when a song came onto a radio station that only plays sons from The '80s that really stuck with me that I unfortunately can't remember the name of. It's basically about this one guy who thinks about a monster and is worried about it coming for him, so he calls his friend to tell them about it, only to hear them get eaten by the monster over the phone.
resolved Trying to find a country song that my stepdad was playing . Music
Lyrics include "Baby lay your loving on me" and "wanna kiss your lips and tears away." Google didn't show anything.
Edit: Found on You Tube. It's Diamond Rio.

What song from the Karate Kid has the lyrics "Memories can fade so fast"?
resolved Country song Music
Country song from the 2000s-2010s. Has the lyrics "with a woo-hoo" or something similar? I think it features car horns in place of some lyrics.
resolved kids songs about a yellow man who had a sock-obsessed pet worm Music
There was an app on a smart tv that i had around 2014-2015 that had a bunch of songs with music videos. They were in a watercolor style and the animation was (as far as i can remember) tweened. a character that was in the songs was a yellow guy with a head that slightly resembles an onion. in one of the music videos, he had a black eye and was holding a piece of meat up to it. There was also a pink worm that had a whole song about how much it likes wearing socks. I asked my mother about this and she remembered that there was a cat named cheddar and a song that mentioned cinnamon rolls somewhere. here's a drawing of the yellow man and the worm https://imgur.com/a/pyzh8Fj
resolved Song about Santa getting arrested Music
Parody song from the 90s/00s about Santa getting arrested. The ending revealed it to be All Just a Dream.
resolved Old sounding song with funny line Music
Ok, I remember in about 2009 or so my mom was listening to a song (not sure if it was on the radio or a cd) that sounded pretty old (40s or 50s) though it could have just been Retraux. It had a male singer, was slow tempo, and had some funny line which was something like : "If I knew why the roses grow, I would know why the roses grow." which both my mom and I thought was pretty funny.
resolved No Title Music
I've got two, though one is pretty much a lost cause.
1. This played on a country station, maybe 10 years ago. It was sung by a male, and it was about finding a buffalo nickel, and realizing it only had three legs. I think I only heard it once, and I've been trying to figure out what it was since then, so I don't have much hope.
2. This, I have no idea how old it is, and can't even remember if it was sung by a man or a woman. The lyrics that I can remember (probably incorrectly) are: "I won't give up blank blank blank blank blank blank blank blank blank I let you down" This is the chorus, I'm fairly certain. For the life of me, I can't remember the lines in the middle. I was reminded of this by Red's Feed the Machine. The line "We fall in line" has a similar tune to "I won't give up" (or whatever that first line is).
resolved [FOUND] DineAndDash music video Music
Song from the mid 1980s. I thought it was "Come On Eileen" or "Celtic Soul Brothers" by Dexys Midnight Runners, but having just seen those, I'm wrong. (Unless there's more than one version of the music videos?) The band in question are all scruffy lower class people like DMR presented themselves as in their "Eileen" period.
The video starts with the singer/main character in a small restaurant/diner having a meal. He sees a friend out the window and leaves, non-verbally telling the owner/waitress that he'll be back shortly to pay for his meal and leaving a package to demonstrate his commitment to coming back. He goes away and has a grand ol' time, and singing whatever song it is. We occasionally cut back to the diner where the waitress is getting concerned. Late that night, at more or less the end of the video, the waitress opens up the package to find it's just some old newspaper (or something), he never planned to come back!
I know this sounds kinda like A Ha's "Take On Me" but it isn't that.

In a recent episode of Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot, as Harmony Bear performs a heartfelt song, Grumpy Bear pulls out a couple of candles, which he and a human girl named Joy start waving. I feel like this is something I have seen in a music video or something of the sort somewhere before, but where? Or might it just be a general reference to "Candle in the Wind"? (NB: The episode, "Sad About You" is currently available on The Hub's website for viewing.)

I remember hearing this 80s pop song over the PA at a grocery store once. All I remember is that it had two deadpan-ish-sounding singers, one of them a male and a female, and kinda sounded like early The Human League. Once lyric I vaguely remember is the singer commenting about something being "made in Japan".
Does anybody know which song it could be?
