resolved Scene where eggs come out of woman's mouth Live Action TV
My parents and I all have memories from a scene of a probably-sitcom where a woman suddenly starts having eggs emerging from her mouth one after another with a surprised look on her face, but we can't remember who it was or what show it was from. Does anyone know the show/episode?
resolved That one Sesame Street segment with the void face Live Action TV
I think there was one segment from the puppet show Sesame Street that was about a puppet consisting of a pair of white eyes and mouth talking into the camera. Their face looked kind of like my OC Elias
◊, except with no green star on their forehead. Does anybody remember the name of the character and what Sesame Street segment this was from? I can't quite recall it.
resolved Astronomy docuseries with a specific CGI alien Live Action TV
I remember an astronomy docuseries that aired on (I think) the Science Channel in the 2010s. One of the episodes was about speculating on extraterrestrial life, and it featured a giant, three-legged, tortise-like alien rising up from the surface of what may have been Europa.
resolved Early 2000s video game show with martial arts guy asking viewers to guess a game character? Live Action TV
I remember in the early 2000s there was a show I saw on Nick Ga S and also I believe either Tech TV or G4, which was about, well, video games. It was a family-friendly show that had game reviews and previews, some factoids about game development (I remember a segment going on about how difficult it is to render water), and there was a segment where this martial arts sensei stereotype sort of character would ask the viewer to guess a video game character using hints.
I know it wasn't Game Farm. That's about it.
resolved Kids go into the TV Live Action TV
I remember this old Discovery Kids show where a group of siblings end up inside the TV and find their favourite personalities, who all happen to be rude and fake.
- The girl admired an newscaster who just happened to alwasy use greenscreen for her reports.
- The boy admired some famous atlete promoting milk, when he doesn't even like milk.
- The kid admired some private eye who never made his own stunts.
resolved Sci-fi Quote source Live Action TV
"Anger is good. Keep that. But travel light. Forget hate."
I am trying to remember the origin of that quote. I feel like it was either Stark from Farscape or the Doctor from Doctor Who. The quote may or may not be verbatim.
Sound familiar?
resolved Ending of an episode of a live action show Live Action TV
When I was younger and would watch my shows, one of the episodes of a show I liked (I'm not sure which one) had the ending of a previously aired episode from another show before it. The clip consisted of some guy in a box answering other people's questions by slipping out a piece of paper with the answer on it. I remember one question, asked by another guy, "What is the capital of Norway?" and the box responded Norway City. Then, this girl with an accent (I'm not sure which kind, maybe Spanish?) said "The capital of Norway is OSLO." And then something happened where the guy in the box freaked out and ran or something similar like that. It was very likely probably a Disney Channel show, I'm just not sure which one, would appreciate it if anyone knew. Thanks!
Edited by lunaloud45resolved Parody cooking show on the (Australian) ABC (solved) Live Action TV
Edit: found Audreys Kitchen
On the Australian ABC around the last decade there was parody of cooking shows and pretty sure it was an ABC original
The characters were a woman on screen and male cameraman who would heard making comments but not been seen on screen.
The woman would make various off colour remarks with the cameraman talked to her
Not The Katering Show or Aftertaste or Posh Nosh
Edited by jormis29resolved Hoarder cleaning TV Show Live Action TV
I remember that around 2010 (probably more like before 2010), there was this maybe British Reality TV Show about two professional cleaners (a woman with blond hair in a top knot, and another woman with boyish hair and glasses) who were cleaning the houses of hoarders. I specifically remember that the short-haired woman was a microbiologist and she would take samples from the surfaces to analyze in the lab, while explaining what microbes she found, what caused their presence and what they do to the human body. This is where I learned what Salmonella is. The two were ALWAYS wearing white labcoats (or cleaning uniforms that look a lot like labcoats).
Ring any bells?
Edited by Lermisresolved 1990s Brother in Apartment Live Action TV
A mid-to-late 1990s kids TV show about two brothers who live with their parents in an apartment.
The older brother (the main character) was around 11-12 and the younger brother was about 8. If I recall correctly, the older one would have these "imagine spots" to do with some life situation or another.
I remember some distinct parts of two episodes: One had the older brother in the park talking with his friends about germs, which then cut to an imagine spot where big bro returns home and finds his parents (in hazmat suits) have turned the apartment into an ultra-clean zone. They take the baseball mit he has and put in a bag and then it cuts to the little bro in a hazmat suit with a decontamination spray, laughing maniacally, before going back to reality.
The other moment was where the little bro thinks there's monsters under his bed. The wacky superintendent/handyman of the building (guy with a moustache) gave him "anti-monster spray" to use under his bed. The following morning, the kid has used up the spray can.
resolved Series from the 70's about a family who traveled back to prehistory Live Action TV
This series was aired around the 1970'a (at least in Brazil). It featured a family who somehow traveled back in time to the stone age, and had to survive against the odds. They live in a house with a rolling stone as a door, and the father usually had a solution to the problems.
Edited by good-morningresolved Specific Doctor Who episode - Mandela effect Live Action TV
In which episode of Doctor Who did the Doctor tell Amy about the Mandela effect? He didn't call it that, but he talked about how people sometimes have memories that don't match up with reality. I'd like to get that quote.
resolved 2000s or earlier sci-fi/horror/mystery live-action show where unexplained phenomena mutates plants Live Action TV
The show takes place in modern times. One night, some kind of weird unexplained phenomena happens a-la Roadside Picnic. The rest of the show is about discovering its effects and figuring out what it was. Things I remember:
- The phenomena was some weird glowing flying geometric shapes and some kind of sound. (I'm not 100% sure on that, actually. I might be mixing this up with some other media.)
- One of its effects was Body Horror-esque mutated plants. I think I remember the characters looking at vegetables in someone's garden and it had like... teeth or something.
- I also remember that the people living there were affected too, but I don't think they were mutated physically. I think they were either driven insane or mind-controlled.
- The phenomena might've been caused by aliens. Or it might've been just a theory the characters were throwing around in-universe. I honestly don't remember.
- I feel like the show ended very abruptly, so it might've been canceled early. (Or maybe the rest just wasn't aired in my country.)
resolved US kids show with animals or something Live Action TV
I know it was airing in the late 90s, maybe early 2000s but forger what channel. Maybe Animal Planet? Probably one of the non-cable stations if not. Pretty sure it involved some sort of game show with puppet animal hosts or something? I remember an episode where one of the hosts was getting antsy about a lot of the contestants or something being carnivorous and seeing him as a meal or something though that just may have been a gag.
resolved Help me find the crime TV show Live Action TV
I need to find the name of this TV show and the season and episode. A woman who was a Navy seal was holding people hostage on a train or subway until she got more information on her son’s wrongful conviction in her mind. The woman’s son killed his sister by pushing her down the stairs.
The main point of the interrogation was that there was a 45 minute pause between the interrogation and the confession.. they interviewed the killer in jail who said they were high at the time of the killing. The woman holding the people also had a Killswitch that would detonate just by touching her heart.
I believe the son's name was Jacob and the daughters name was Emily. father also said to Jacob, that it was time to step up for what he had done. The sister had broken her neck, the mother wrote the book on bombs, I am not confident on the names.
Specifically focus on the 45 minute pause,, the mother writing the book on bombs, the son admitting he was high at the time of the killing and the mother playing a voicemail for the detective from the daughter saying that she would get her own dinner. .
For other facts, they were doing the interview with the son in jail, and the specifically said I was so high. She was in so much pain. The father specifically told the son it was time to step up and admit what he did. I also did watch this on Facebook, but I cannot find the video.
resolved Sepia-toned afterlife Live Action TV
This might have been a movie; for a bit I was sure it was the HBO adaptation of Angels in America, but I just rewatched that and it wasn't that. I mostly just remember a particular scene. As best I remember: the main character finds himself in a monochromatic afterlife (maybe heaven, maybe limbo). It's very rural/pastoral - you know, trees, dirt roads, fields, etc. I think he meets multiple people, but he definitely meets at least one: a little girl who is heavily implied to be God, or maybe Death. The main character might be dying or might be already dead, and I dimly remember he's trying to either not die or not go to hell. This is very vague - sorry - but I feel like it was relatively recent (something produced within the last decade), so if it jogs anyone's memory, please let me know.
Edited by LaughingGirafferesolved Series about futuristic cops. (resolved: Space Precinct) Live Action TV
The series were about futuristic cops, using a flying "car" (I think it was/looked more like a small spaceship, and some episodes might have actually had them go to space, but it's been years since I watched it, maybe even in the previous century, so I don't remember for sure).
I remember a scene from one episode, where one of the cops had his kid (daughter?) along when working, for some reason. She was told to stay in the "car", while the cops investigated something. The vehicle exploded/got blown up while they were away, with the frightened cop thinking his kid died, only for them to appear from elsewhere, since it turned out they left the vehicle beforehand.

resolved A British superhero sitcom Live Action TV
I remember this sitcom about an alien being a superhero on earth wearing a yellow and red outfit. The only other thing I remember about it is that there was one episode where another character makes a deal with another alien (I think?) to get super powers too, but the alien tricks him to letting him use his body for it. The alien then shows off his powers, wearing a green and purple outfit, eventually challenging the main guy and loses, freeing the guy from the alien's control.
resolved Early 2010s Nick sitcom series about an alien who lived with a human family because an alien species Live Action TV
Early 2010s Nick sitcom series about an alien who lived with a human family because an alien species hunts him.please help me find this show

I remember a scene where Howard is making jokes and Leonard tells him he could be a professional comedian. He sacastically responds that a Jewish comedian would be a novelty. But Bernadette, not getting it, sincerely asks if aren't a lot of comedians actually Jewish.
