resolved It's not the golden boy Film
1 - There's a little boy said to be the reincarnation of the Buddha, he even punishes a villain sending him to a frozen hell... 2 - There's a girl from whom the boy is freeloading because she thinks she can profit from it... Even asking if he can predict the lottery numbers to which he answers that he can make the numbers he want appear in the lottery... 3 - There's a guy that acts as the Buddha guardian, but he keeps falling from a window with a loose frame, even coming back with the frame... and somehow the thing I remember the most about him is that he enjoys dog food...
The worst is I don't remember if the movie is japanese or chinese...
resolved Kids Movie about insturments Film
I had this hardrive which i watched a shitton of content from their. I would sometimes check it out to see the bizarre content their, but i since got a smart TV which (it think atleast) makes it unable to watch the drive. Now one of the movies was a badly CGI movie anthro insturments. I forgot what was the plot, but i rememeber the title had X somewhere or maybe started with that. But there was a scene in which (I think it was Fairy tale/bedtime story in universe) their insturments (like xylophones I think) and notes, and then their were evil insturments who would steal the notes in bubbles. And I rememeber being weirded out by that. I think this movie came out on dvd in Czechia, and released in i think 2006-2009. The main protagonist was a kid insturment. Help would be needed to find the movie's name.
resolved Woman fights kids in a bounce house to get a pregnancy test back Film
There’s a movie I saw the other day where a blonde woman takes a pregnancy test, but before she finds out the results, a little girl steals it thinking it was a marker and brings it into a bounce house full of kids to stop her from getting it. At one point, the blonde woman zips the bounce house shut and starts throwing kids, and finally get the test back from the girl by telling her that she peed on it. It looks like it was from the mid 90’s-Late 2000’s. I just want to find out the name of it.

Edited by StalkerGamerresolved Stay look at me, or I'll disappear. Film
Hello, comrades! I remember a horror movie, where a group of young people found themselves in some abandoned mansion or motel, and this place had an ominous feature: a person, who was not in anyone's field of vision, will be disappeared. Those, who guessed what is going on here, were forced to keep an eye on each other.
Edited by treluxeresolved Film about two ManicPixieDreamGirls dating each other Film
I believe its mentioned on the page about two Manic Pixie Dream Girls who date each other rather then a boy. Its about artists in Italy.
resolved Film where two brothers kidnap a man Film
Saw it in the early 90s. Two brothers (I think one of them may have been mildly retarded or autistic) kidnap a rich man with the intention of holding him for ransom. But the brothers are orphans, and they start to see the man they kidnapped as a father figure (in a variation on Lima Syndrome).
The movie was obviously based on a play, since the entire film (IIRC) takes place in a single room.
resolved Short sci-fi film about the last human Film
I think was listed on this very wiki somewhere. I believe this was a foreign language/non-English production, as I remember viewing this with subtitles. This was probably on You Tube?
The film begins with a group of travelers in space suits trekking through a barren, frozen planet. They enter a futuristic vault. The lights come on, and a female computer voice tells the travelers that this vault contains information on the entire history of humanity, which has gone extinct. One of them says he'd like to see everything it has to offer and takes off his helmet, revealing that he's actually a human. The others take off their helmets too (or at least flip up their visors), but this reveals they're aliens with blue and red/orange skin.
We learn how he got here through a series of flashbacks. He was part of a small group of elite explorers sent to scout out new planets to settle, as a part of a last ditch effort to avoid an existential catastrophe (I can't quite remember what it was). We see their graduation ceremony, where the explorers are decked out in fancy white aviation uniforms. One of them is a lady who is into retro tech and snaps a photo of the occasion with a Polaroid.
The film then shows these explorers making their journeys. Most of them die horribly. For example, one guy's ship breaks up mid-flight, screaming in terror. It's implied the man from the beginning of the film was the only who made it safely; it seems he managed to come contact with an alien species and bring them back to Earth to help, only to arrive too late.
resolved Sci-fi film or show with a duel in a room with a chair. Film
So I think it's more likely to be a film, that I watched on TV in the early 2010s, it looked modern, it was sci-fi. It had that sort of sleek white spaceship walls look, and there was a duel between a human and some alien with a really wrinkly face. I'm not sure what weapons were used in the duel, but it ended with the human falling in a chair with some sort of face stretching technology that was meant for the alien.
I've always thought it was Star Trek, but people keep saying it isn't. The people who keep saying it isn't haven't watched it, though, so it could be. And that's all I can remember.
resolved Film covered on Siskel and Ebert with horrific scene that Ebert missed Film
Consider this a double-entry for both the film and the Siskel & Ebert episode.
My dad was telling me about one episode of the show where an otherwise standard family film covered contained a "horrific scene of animal cruelty" that never gets referenced again, which Ebert didn't see due to his bathroom break, and he thought Siskel was making it up. My dad suggested the film to have been from the 70's, though I don't know if he remembered clearly.
resolved Animated film about surealness Film
I'm looking for the title of an old animated movie from the 80's-90's. It's possibly European, maybe French. I remember most of it, but I missed the middle part.
The story is set in the far future in a kingdom with highly advanced technology like flying cars. The lead character is a brilliant, but lonely scientist with glasses. His research in the abstract has revolutionized the kingdom. He loves the princess, but she has no interest in him.
One night, he works on his computer and research the inner workings of love. Without warning, he is pulled into a surreal world where the abstract is absolute. Its leader says that the scientist is their worse enemy. Creatures in the surreal world flourish thanks to the abstract and the illogical. The scientist's discoveries has cause the creatures to fade and die. The scientist scoff at all this.
However, later in the story, he is horrified that his research in the abstract will eventually cause WWIII. He returns to the surreal world where he makes deal with the leader: he will destroy his research and in return, the leader will make the princess fall in love with him.
The scientist borrows a laser rifle from a guard and enters a chamber with a super computer. He destroys it and everything in it. He returns the rifle to the guard and have him swear to never reveal what he did to the king. The ending shows that the surreal creatures now coexist with the real world where everything is wacky, funny and completely defies any logic and physics. The scientist is now married with the princess.
Anyone knows the title? Please let me know! Thank you.
Edited by Nevermore2002resolved A new year film filled with rock star tropes Film
I am trying to remember about a film that is made in The '70s with a story when a big wild party is built with some blues and rock bands, the things I remember are:
- A big bathroom filled with mess and drugs (even there is a gigantic heroin syringe moving around)
- A blues band composed by orthodox jews that, after the party, end up really messed
- A rock band with a vocalist that leaves the gig to have sex with his groupie (while leaving the drummer to perform a very long drum solo) just to find her having sex with one of the main characters, this leads to some drama and to have the vocalist leaving the gig for good by entering a bathroom when he starts talking with his penis that encourages him to restart from zero.. (while the drummer ends banging the drums with his head)

The general setting: A group of people using white hazmat suits are researching an abandoned building inside some forest. I only remember two scenes:
The reason why I have a hard time finding what movie it was it's because I don't recognize the language the characters were speaking: it's not english, spanish (or any romance language) and I strongly believe that is not german (based on what one character said). The movie looks relatively new (I mean, it doesn't look like an 80's film).
Other than that, I only remember that the woman in charge is named after a common english word (I think her name was "Love") and the word "hilfe" was constanly shown written on the walls, sometimes changing the letters to spell "lifhe" or "lihfe".
