resolved Movie about a redheaded woman in a wedding dress being depressed at a biker pub Film
I keep seeing these clips on a woman in her wedding dress going to the parking lot of a biker joint depressed, I know the scene, I just don't know the movie.
resolved Movie with a ship (maybe) Film
There was this movie I never actually saw but read about. All I remember reading is there was this scene where the main character (who's name was Sarah something) masturbates while someone else secretly watches. Also for some reason I think the movie might have had something to do with a ship but can't remember.

Which is this action film with Bruce Willis? Where they have to find a bomb and they travel to France, England, and Russia?
resolved Movie about wizards. Film
Sorry for the double-post. Am also searching for the name of a live-action movie. What I know of said movie is as follows: It had to do with this guy that got a ring with a dragon from a wizard named Balthasar when the protagonist was a kid, Balthasar also trained him to be the ultimate Merlinian (or something like that). When the protagonist got the ring Balthasar fought the Big Bad (that also result being his old friend and an ancient Merlinian) and both got sealed in a jar for some years. The henchmen of the Big Bad were: a weird asian dude that could summon a dragon, Loki (he even references the "this are not the droids you are searching for" meme) and a girl from the Salem witch trials. The objective of the Big Bad was to unseal Morgan Le Fay, a witch that was possessing Balthasar's girlfriend (another Merlinian), so she would revive the dead and they would take over the world. The movie showcased fun spells like transforming a gargoyle into a metallic eagle, being sent to the mirror world and Loki even transformed into the protagonist. There was even an scene where the protagonist plays music to his girlfriend using electricity and another that references fantasia 2001 (the part where Mickey makes the mops move).
Edited by megagutsmanresolved Movie about car chase and kidnapping Film
I'm looking for the title of this movie I saw during a flight. I missed beginning, so I don't know the title. It was released during the early 90's, possibly 1993-1994.
Some guy has kidnapped a girl (willingly or not, I can't be sure) and is fleeing on a car while being chased/hunted down by the police. Naturally, the girl isn't happy about it, but during their ride they both start to know one another and like each other.
During the climax, the man release the girl unharmed. He's apprehended by the police who taunt him along with the girl's wealthy and jerkass father. The girl then grab a gun and have the guy released and they both escape on the car together.
Thanks.
resolved French crime comedy film Film
a (fairly recent, last ten years or so) French film about a group of people who get coerced into selling drugs? the opening scenes is of a woman (one of the main characters) living with her daughter on an island after the events of the film, and the first few minutes establish the characters of the main group
one of the scenes i remember is where a guy manages to slap three people at once because they try to give back cocaine that they bought from him
at another point in the film, one of the main characters sleeps with the daughter of a drug lord, although he doesn't know she's the daughter of a drug lord
Edited by NoNameLegionresolved Little Buddha and Dog Food Film

resolved Sci Fi movie featuring a holographic girlfriend Film
What was the movie - a sci fi action thing with comedic elements - where a minor character, a loser who's friends with the main character, has a holographic girlfriend/wife that's poorly programmed to always be in love with him - one scene has the main character going into the loser's house for some reason and the holograph offers him sex, even unbuttoning his pants. Then, when the loser gets shot and dies, the 'girlfriend" sees him covered in blood on the floor and says "Did (character) fall asleep on the floor again? That's so cute."
resolved Not Real Torture Film
I rembember the scene of a movie about a guy that had another dangling from a rope and saying he was about to tortures him with a blowtorch to his back, saying that ironically the fire actually feels like cold on the nerves.
But instead, since the man cannot see him, he simply uses the blowtorch on a steak, and starts rubbing a pospicle on the guy's back, just making him believe he is burning him.
Edited by ElBuenCuateresolved Movie about a boy and his spaceship toy Film
I'm looking for the title of a movie made in the 80's. All I remembered was a boy with a spaceship "toy" that could do fancy stuff. The movie was aimed at kids and followed the sci-fiction trend left by Star Wars and E.T. Any guess? Thanks.
Edited by Nevermore2002resolved Pirate Movie Film
Possibly Claymation movie about rather incompetent pirates. I do not remember much about it but maybe you can help. It would have came out only like 10-15 years ago, cause I saw it in theatres when I was little. Please help.
resolved ww2 holocaust movie Film
So I remember watching a movie set during the holocaust all in German and I think maybe another non English European language. But, from my memory it follows a young jewish boy trying to escape the Germans and one scene in particular I remember is he is working on a farm and his left arm gets damaged in an accident and he gets taken to the hospital but the German nurses leave him in the hallway on a stretcher because he is a jew and when a doctor finds out he screams at them for leaving him there and takes the boy into surgery and I think he does wind up losing his arm. I remember watching it on either Prime Video or Netflix probably 6-8 years ago.
resolved No Title Film
A black-and-white film I saw on UK telly somewhere between 1990 and 1994, although I'm pretty certain it was American.
It starts with a record spinning on a player, and I think it ends the same way. There's a girl who is playing the star in the nativity, and all she needs as her costume is a pair of sneakers (there- it must've been American, I specifically remember her saying "sneakers" not "trainers")
As she's moving the star across the sky, she slips on a pipe or something and falls down, possibly knocking part of the set down.
Years later, a family knocks on the door asking to use the phone as their car has broken down and the children are late for the nativity- some in costume and one in a pair of sneakers. The original girl may or may not have died in the years between. I really can't remember.
Tried asking my mum about this, because I do remember crying over it later that night when I first watched it, but she doesn't remember it at all.
Thanks everyone!
resolved Movie where they cut out all references to something in some release. Film
This is a weird one but I remember reading in some book about stupid things people did (I no longer have the book unfortunately) and it talked about some movie that when it was released somewhere (I forget where) they made them remove all references to something (again, I forget what) after which the film made no sense whatsoever. Anyone know what movie this was talking about
Edited by Bootlebatresolved [Solved] Phantom of the Opera-esque movie with a flooded city and slingshot murder. Film
So, saw this on Russian TV at some point. The movie was clearly heavily inspired by Phantom of the Opera, but I could not find it anywhere by looking at Phantom adaptation lists. Overall picture quality, I say puts it in early to mid 2000s. I tuned in somewhere in the middle of the movie. Fantasy setting, in a Venice-like city on water. And it's raining heavily, so it's flooding. Medieval/renaissance style.
Scenes I recall: The main villain is a disfigured young man in a half mask, the Phantom, as I'll call him from here on out. He invites a princess/noblewoman (possibly his sister?) to his house and shows her his pet monkey (Fez and all that, tiny monke). He also then shows her his disfigured face and reveals to her that her royal family did this. Maybe he's her discarded brother/true heir to the throne or something. She is shocked by the revelation. Main hero is the prince (actor similar to Jason London in my memory, but looking through his filmography I could not find it). He talks to the princess about this Phantom guy, but ultimately the princess is super depressed. A scene I recall fairly well is her sitting on the window and saying "When it's raining no one can see that I am crying." and then jumps off to her death. The prince later brings her body to the king and/or queen (the more I think about it, it may as well be ONLY the queen, as she is for sure a character).
The city keeps flooding with heavy rain
Climactic battle is the Phantom barricaded in some house, and the royal guards are trying to knock the door down, while the Phantom is taking them out... WITH A REGULAR SLINGSHOT from the top window of the house. And cackling like the joker while he does it. The guards get hit and fall into the canal.
The prince grabs a knife/sword or something and slides down some rain drains and stabs the Phantom. The Phantom's final words are something like "THIS. ISN'T. FUNNY." as he was cackling earlier.
Final scene is after the rain has stopped and city unflooded, the Prince says to the queen that he plans to go travel the world and asks her permission or just notifies her expecting her to be mad. And the queen replies with "You are a man now and may do as you please." showing that there was character development? He then rides out of the town on a horse.
Any help is appreciated.
Edited by Shirokurouresolved Animated Film about Ancient Greece/Rome (Solved) Film
In middle school, we watched an animated film about either the Greek or Roman empire (Probably the latter.) I didn’t see much of it, just the beginning. The opening scene has stuck in my mind ever since.
It begins going through the woods, passing several posts with deer skulls attached to them. It then arrives at a group of tribal men (Probably Celts) gathered around a fire, all dressed in robes and wearing deer skulls. The leader then begins to list off various injustices committed by the Empire against them. The leader finished by stating the worst thing the Greeks/Romans have done to them; cutting off everyone in the tribe's right hand. They then all raise their arms to show all their right hands missing.
After this, the film begins properly, focusing on a Roman/Greek man and his slave. I remember him describing each character as he met him.

resolved European movie parodied by "Marge vs the Monorail" (SOLVED) Film
In "The Simpsons S4 E12 "Marge vs. the Monorail"", Marge visits North Haverbrook and finds a creepy scientist type called Sebastian Cobb. The character design, accent and personality are apparently a parody of a character from a feature taking place in Europe, where he also has to be taken on a trip, except across multiple countries.
Does anyone know what movie it is? It's probably an Art Film from the seventies, and has a painfully long running time. I'm not sure if the movie is actually an European production, or just takes place in Europe.
Edited by Mac_Rresolved Movie... Film
I remember seeing a trailer for an (chinese?) fantasy action movie. I think it contained magic.
What was most notable, is that multiple characters, who have been captured by the opposing side, have been bound by the wrists and suspended in the air.
Does anyone have a clue?

I vaguely remember there was this horror film about a couple lost in a winter wilderness. The couple get chased by a mysterious figure while lost in the wilderness.
Towards the end of the film it turns out the couple was Dead All Along (they were ghosts that died in a car crash but never realized they died until they meet their own dead bodies in the wilderness). The figure stalking them was actually a psychopomp trying to take them to the afterlife.
Can anyone tell me the name of this movie?
