resolved Relatively Modern movie or tv show Film
What I remember, is a family arriving to a town where everyone acts wierd (typical cult town) the main character is a Doctor with his family. After encountering a sacrifice wood altar at the woods he begins to suspect about the weird behaviours of the people in town. One night they wake him up and drag him to the caves, where monsters/creatures that live and lurk in the dark make him help them gave birth of one of this monsters/creatures that is pregnant, because he is a Doctor. The scene is very graphic and dark. The creatures only communicate with growl sounds, and if I remember well have dark-blue/blue skin. So, it's revealed, the "sacrifices" people of this town made were made to feed this creatures for safety.
resolved Old movie about doctor and disabled patients Film
It is an old, live action movie. I remember that at the beginning, a boy is shown to be struggling, with wobbly notes as that differ so much from notes on previous pages. His mom also said that she saw him point at a direction, saying 'Mom, mom' and never spoke again. That boy grows up, becoming a man with a disability. A doctor is the main character (I think), and I also remember the scene where a woman with the same condition as the boy I mentioned does not talk or respond, but when the doctor throws a baseball at her, she catches it. I've seen it once in psychology class in high school, and it now just went into my head. I hope those details will help me, and you, identify it. Those are all the details I can remember.

at another point in the film, one of the main characters sleeps with the daughter of a drug lord, although he doesn't know she's the daughter of a drug lord
Edited by NoNameLegionresolved Teenager's Lies Coming True Film
American, mid-2000s. A crass comedy about a teenager boy who gains the power to make his lies come true. His life falls apart because of the unforeseen consequence of said lies.
One lie was that his mum and dad were a rock star and a fashion designer, which leads to them filing for divorce.
Any help is great. Thanks.
resolved I can't find western movie, can someone help? Film
Movie is about one cowboy, aka main character, i think with no kill rule. During stand off he accidentally kills his enemy. Main character decided to retire because of that. I don't remember much about it, but twist was that aformentioned enemy turned out to be alive and faked his death to break main character. Any ideas what movie is it?
resolved Movie about car chase and kidnapping Film
I'm looking for the title of this movie I saw during a flight. I missed beginning, so I don't know the title. It was released during the early 90's, possibly 1993-1994.
Some guy has kidnapped a girl (willingly or not, I can't be sure) and is fleeing on a car while being chased/hunted down by the police. Naturally, the girl isn't happy about it, but during their ride they both start to know one another and like each other.
During the climax, the man release the girl unharmed. He's apprehended by the police who taunt him along with the girl's wealthy and jerkass father. The girl then grab a gun and have the guy released and they both escape on the car together.
Thanks.
resolved Child Abuse drama with fantasy ending Film
I randomly remembered a drama (?) movie aid heard about, but I can only remember the ending. It was a kid with an abusive father, and the movie ends with him building a plane and flying away or something like that. Apparently he movie doesn’t provide a definitive answer on what actually occurred. Did the child escape, and the plane was a fantastical description? Or was he killed by his father? I put a question mark near drama because it might have also been tonally weird, maybe advertised like a family movie or something
resolved A biopic about Mozart that actually portrayed Mozart and Saleri as best friends like they were irl Film
Hey guys, I am looking for a biopic movie/tv on Mozart which portrayed him and Saleri as best friends like they were in real life and not like Amadeus (1984 film) where they slandered Saleri and painted him in a horrible light? Does anyone know which works of media portrayed him in a good light?
resolved 2000s Disney/Family Channel Movie Film
This movie aired sometime in the 2000s or early 2010s. It was a live-action direct-to-TV superhero movie that followed the oldest kid in a superhero family. The family didn't really have powers; their gimmick was that they protected people by flying these airships around. The ships were definitely bird themed; they might've been called falcons. The branding of the family also surrounded birds.
The oldest kid/protagonist's arc was that some threat happened that rendered his parents unable to fly the ship. He ends up learning to fly it himself and saves the day/becomes a real hero.

Edited by Filip04resolved 80's horror film involving escaped monsters on remote planet Film
A 1980's movie where a ship lands on a remote, always-night planet (think the Derelict planet and LV-426 in the Alien franchise) with hidden monsters of various types infiltrating the ship. Said monsters are escapees from 10,000 year old evils in a can left there by aliens. A key scene in this movie takes place in the opening— an earlier ship that lands, and during a photo-op, one of the two spacesuit-clad passengers SITS on one of the sealed evils in a can, with predictable results (specifically, we see a small section of the canister dissolve, and minutes later, he starts convulsing and spitting out mists of blood.)
resolved Recent horror film Film
I think it was released in 2020 or thereabouts. The film itself has some young adults play some sort of trendy mystery game that is also the title of the film, but then the lights go off for a bit and someone winds up dead, and they all start killing each other. The big twist is that the victim, whose name I think is David, actually killed himself while trying to do something stupid with a sword for his Instagram, and they were killing each other for nothing. The main character's name may be Bea, and I think she has some issues with the rest of the cast because they're richer than she is.
resolved Guy willingly undergoes clinical death to hunt down ghostly homicidal maniac. Film
There was this black comedy slasher movie where a homicidal maniac's ghost kept murder people after his death. The protagonist in order to stop him willingly enters a freezer to enter a state of clinical death / out-of-body experience, in which state he can actually combat the maniac. The film ends with both the protag and the maniac, including the maniac's equally ax-crazy girlfriend and the protag's dead best friend in a cloudy tunnel to heaven, which then turns into a gruesome fleshy thing which takes the bad guys to Hell.
resolved 2000s comedy film Film
a comedy film about four guys helping a young boy who's getting bullied?
all I really remember is that the climax is a big fantasy/medieval re-enactment/fight thing where the four guys dress up as the band Kiss and fight the main antagonist
resolved Movie about stroke victim Film
I remember as a kid seeing a movie about a stroke victim. There's an early scene where a young guy in his 20s is at a gym and suddenly can't pick up a dumbbell. He stumbles around a bit before collapsing. Someone calls 911 and as the guy is wheeled away on a gurney he starts vomiting. Later in the movie after he's recovered, he's in a college class but his brain is still a bit screwy so he can't focus, so he packs up his stuff and leaves.
resolved Fever dream soviet-russian(?) movie Film
I remember watching it a couple times; it's, as far as I know, only in Russian, so I don't know if anyone here has even heard of it but it's worth a shot. It had some guitarist guy get transported (I don't remember how) onto some barren desert planet. He finds (two?) other guys who have some kind of flying machine that is essentially a porta-potty-sized giant tin can with helicopter blades on top. All sorts of weird stuff happens along the way, including our main guy getting abandoned and taken back by the other two, some underground industrial complex being found, and other weird fever-dream-esque shenanagins.
The main guy later comes back home (just normal real life) and I think at the end finds one of the guys from said deserted planet? I'm not sure on that detail as I could be remembering it from another movie. One of the (many) main details that makes the movie unique that I remember is that on the planet it was customary to do some weird 'crouch, slap your knees(?), and make a sound' move as a greeting or something? Again, the whole movie feels like a fever dream. Also, the movies was made around when the Soviet Union collapsed, either a bit before or after, can't remember.
I'll honestly be surprised if anyone else knows what I'm talking about, but hey, ya never know.
resolved Netflix movie with horses? Film
There was this movie on Netflix (don't know if it's there anymore) about a girl who moved to the country and getting adjusted to it. There was a horse farm nearby and she bonded with one in particular. There was also a guy she became friends with, and there was a bit of Will They or Won't They? but they ended up not getting together.
resolved A black and white vampire/werewolf movie Film
I saw most of this movie on television a long time ago. The plot goes something like this. A vampire who had been imprisoned for years escapes and confronts a reformed werewolf who used to be his loyal servant. The werewolf is terrified at first and refuses to work for the vampire anymore, but the vampire uses his hypnotic powers to revert the werewolf back to his previous personality. The vampire takes on the identity of a famous professor and starts killing and blood draining people while also hunting a young woman he wants to turn into his bride. He is opposed by an older woman who previously defeated him and helped the werewolf reform. The vampire's crimes are also investigated by a police detective who refuses to believe in vampires even as the evidence piles up. He still doesn't believe in anything supernatural even after his two lackies witness the werewolf turn into a wolfman up close while unsuccessfully trying to arrest him. The older woman is unsuccessful in preventing the vampire from kidnapping the young woman. When the vampire is about to turn the young woman into a vampire, the werewolf looks at as his cross necklace and remembers the older woman's words which remind of why he turned good. He turns back into a human and kills the vampire by using a rock to pound a large nail into his chest, but then also dies afterwards for some reason while vampire's body rapidly turns into a rotten corpse. The older woman and the investigator find the bodies of the vampire and werewolf. The investigator is still skeptical and in the final line of the film he breaks the fourth wall by asking the audience if they believe in vampires. I think the movie was partially a parody because it lampshaded a lot of vampire tropes.
resolved Opera singer joins army in WWII Film
I remember seeing the start of this film on TV sometime in the 1980s, but it was much older than that. At a guess, I'd say 1950s or early 1960s.
I can only clearly remember two parts. The first is the opening narration in which the narrator says that all men between 21 and 45 were required to register for the draft, this having been decided by a congress full of men slightly older than this. The second is the protagonist, a famous opera singer who has been drafted, filling out his enlistment papers and handing them to the sergeant. The sergeant looks at the papers and tells him he had made a mistake, and that the question asked him for his weekly income, not his yearly income. The protagonist replies that that his is weekly income, and the sergeant does a double take.

My sister grew up in the 80s, I grew up in the 90s, and our parents used VC Rs to make mix-tapes of various movies for us when we were growing up, either by (illegally) copying retail VHS copies we'd rent from the video store, or whenever they would air on cable TV. One tape as I recall included the Disney version of Robin Hood... except that before that, it appeared they mistakenly began recording an entirely different version, a live action version, and stopped the recording when they realized the mistake they made. As I recall, the opening title sequence for this live action version started off with quite a lovely wide shot of a big red sun either rising or setting on Nottingham before dissolving to a panning shot of a darkened Sherwood forest; the recording abruptly ended after a cut to a rabbit surveying its surroundings from the grass.
And no, I can't just check the tape and look at the names from the opening credits and check, because I was really young when that tape was made, as I believe it was one my sister took with her when she moved out.
