resolved Puppet used to frame midget for serial killings Film
This might sound a little weird but I remeber watching something on SBS. I don't remember if it was a movie or a tv show or if it was in English but it was live action
- The main character is looking into an old serial killer case
- At one point he finds a life sized puppet of a midget that was used to make it look like a midget was running away from the murders and frame the midget for the crime. The midget had a history of drunkness and violence.
- The main character connects the killings to lines in childrens book or poem. One of the victims was a farmer who got stabbed with a flute or similar instrument. He realises that this connects to line about a farmer working with his instrument and the killer didn't understand that instrument could refer to a tool. He then realises that the killer was a child because they wouldn't be able to understand that and it us why a midget was framed - to match up with the child height stabbing and wittness accounts.
- He then finds out it was a friend of his that was the murderer and the friend's father was behind the frame up
resolved English cartoon Western Animation
I only know it was English because I found info about on the web at one point. Anyway i'm looking for this cartoon that was on during the early 90's in the Netherlands though it probably originally was from the 80's. It was about this group of kids and stray dog who had adventures in the dreamworld, in their dreams all the kids had superpowers and the dog could talk. I think it was named after the stay dog.
resolved [Solved] Weird movie Film
I remember seeing the ending of this film from HBO, where this little girl and her babysitter, I think?, were being chased by a horde of barbie dolls...weird I know. Though the dolls were not at all moving, they were just placed around the place. When they were trapped in the closet the sitter was comforting the girl, but her eyes were changing like the barbie dolls. The scene changes with the parents saying good night to their daughter, when they leave she goes to a glass case of her dolls and tells them that they've been very bad and that she's giving them someone to watch them, which happens to be the her sitter as a doll.
Anyone else know or have heard of this film?
Edited by Animaltamerresolved Anime with a character resembling K′ from The King of Fighters Anime
I remembered reading an article here on TV Tropes about a specific anime (which may have been based on a manga or novel) which I believe was in the '90s or early '00s. I for the life of me can't recall what it was called, but I do recall that it has a female protagonist, she is accompanied by another similar to KOF's Kyo Kusanagi, and also that one major antagonist is someone who looked very similar to K′ (and his name is G). Apologies if this is not a lot to work with, but that is all I can recall about it. I thank anyone who will offer a response.
Edited by JesseMB27resolved The ghost of a father, his driver seeking help from his son to catch their murderer Film
I remember that movie have the main characters to be a rich man and his driver/best friend that were kill by another member of his company. The man loved his pre-teen/teenage son a lot but their relationship was somewhat distant. When the two men died, they became ghost and discovered that the man's golden egg box has recorded his murder, ghosts could appear on TV for a few seconds to talk with the living before the TV exploded and could teleport to wherever they want by just thinking about it. Not to mention the driver discovered his girlfriend has moved on immediately after his death much to his chagrin and there was a strange man who could talk to both of them directly.
They managed to contact the son, who was be able to recovered the stolen egg from a kleptomaniac female relative. The bad guy confronted the boy but he was stopped when the latter put his VR game headgear on the former. In the virtual space, the two ghosts confronted the murderer and he fell backward into his death through the window/balcony. The ghosts said goodbye to the boy, father and son confirmed their love for each other before the ghosts left. They met both the ghost of the bad guy and the strange man who was some kind of grim reaper or angel. Through a public bench, the murderer was sent to hell while the two men, sitting on the bench, filed to heaven.

Before she starts going, a teenage boy who claims that he's going to be reincarnated as her baby brother, goes with her. In the end she does manage to get back to where she wishes that her brother will arrive safely.

Edited by Animaltamerresolved [Solved] trio of monsters anime Anime
I remember watching this on animax, where these three monsters were born from one entity, there was a green skinned looking goblin, one wore a black trench coat and Fedora and the last was female and sorta looked like a vampire. They all want to be human, which they think they could achieve by helping humans.

It was shown on Disney Channel Asia c. 2006, and the main characters were Ringo the Rat and Oreo the Ox (yes, I remember their names!). It was also a musical.
resolved diary scene? Film
There was a scene in a movie that I saw in the 2000s, a flashback with voiceover, maybe someone reading a diary entry? And the narrating voiceover was the voice of the writer. It showed her as a teen sitting in a classroom; she and this other girl are stealing glances at each other, and in the voiceover she reminisces that Other Girl had beautiful hands. Then it shows her and Other Girl (or maybe it was a different girl?) holding hands in front of her parents, who are yelling because they don't approve of homosexuality.
I thought it was from The Reader, but that can't be right. So maybe it was from another German movie?
resolved Black-and-White Movie about Ghost Lady; Horror Comedy probably (SOLVED) Film
So, there's this movie that's black and white (so it should be from the middle of the 20th century). It's basically about these group of people in a house investigating a murder of a lady and who murdered her. One of the characters is able to see and communicate with the ghost of this lady.
One of my favorite jokes from this film is the officers showing the corpse of the dead lady to another lady (this one being the lady the murderer was planning on killing) and asking her if she recognized her. She then of course freaks and faints. XD
One running joke from this film I remember is the one black dude in the entire cast continuously sitting in a chair in a certain position. This chair then sent him underneath the house into a water tunnel (sewer?) somewhere and having a slapfight with a seal.
Edited by TropeFanaticFanresolved Sprite Movie series with Yoshi and Kirby [SOLVED] Web Original
There was this old sprite movie series on You Tube from like 2007-2008-ish involving Kirby and Yoshi living together. There was this one episode where they get robbed by a Bandit named BG Bandit. There were also two recurring characters called the Super Soccer Bros(?) who taught Yoshi and Kirby special moves like the Bros. Moves in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. The sprites used looked like they were from Game Boy Advance games.
Edited by PKLpikachuresolved Isometric Webcomic, Anybody? Webcomic
The main character wakes up in a hospital with amnesia, finds the world is in the middle of apocalypses. Yes, plural apocalypses. There's a robot uprising, plant monsters eating people, zombies, vampires, there might be aliens, but I don't remember. Oh, and the main character, the chosen one, is an idiot.
resolved Hellblazer : reality tv show in hell
A Hellblazer arc where Constantine takes part in a reality TV show (bunch of young people sharing a house), and slowly the contestants learn they're dead and in Hell, and the show's audience are demons.
resolved Late 80s-Early 90s Drama Christian-themed film (Home video only?) Film
In middle school several years ago, one of the tapes one of my classes watched was a drama Christian-themed movie, which might be on video only. It's about two teenagers or young adults who are in love, but I don't remember the conflict, perhaps the young woman has poor faith in God or Jesus. I think there is a church scene with a prayer or other speech spoken. Then there's a scene where the two characters are in a car and one of them is driving recklessly in a curvy road or whatever. Maybe one of them tries to tell the other to stop that driving behavior. The car crashes and both of them die. The young man goes to heaven while the young woman goes to hell and maybe the devil can be heard as well as the sight of darkness and fire. The hell scene was pretty scary to me.
resolved Asking for someone on Twitter Anime
I'm looking for this anime where a girl with red, short hair that lives in the same house of a monster with a skull head. Do you know the name?
resolved An Anime about an Alien Baby Anime
I've watched this anime on Animax in the mid-2000s, and it's about an alien baby and his caretaker named Wanya crashing to a Japanese temple/dojo where two middle schoolers (a blonde girl and a brunette boy) live and take care of the house while their parents leave and do their business. Other characters include a little girl riding a training bicycle and a pink-haired girl who easily gets jealous and wrecks buildings whenever the two main characters seemingly flirt.
resolved Fantasy Educational Game From Childhood Videogame
I think the game came in a set of similar educational games that I played in the school computer lab (Australia). I probably played this game in the late 2000s too alongside ones like Kid-pix and Numbers Up... The main one I'm thinking of was a strategic turn-based game with wizards and dragons and you had to set up all your moves before activating them and the battle would play out and you would see if you countered everything. There were different types of wizards and dragons which had different abilities. I think wizards got burnt to a crisp a lot. The levels got progressively complex. I think it was set in a forest? The graphics weren't high quality but I loved the game. I think some of the games with it were stacking acrobats? Or a seal pool? I think they had minimal text and a predominantly white background. I really loved this game I hope someone knows it! :)

I remember this anime where there were these two guys, one smart and one strong, who were not at all friends. Then at night something from their computers started to glow, with a female voice talking to them, making them heroes. The smart one was blue and the strong one was red. They fused and became a superhero, then stopped a villain. I only manage to remember watching it on dubbed channel with lots of other animes as well.
