resolved game demo i played a few years ago Videogame
there was a game demo i played a few years back (sometime before 2020) that i haven't been able to find. i remember the game like this: a boy wakes up in an old room with a piano in it and heads outside. there, he finds out from another child all the adults in his town have disappeared with no explanation. he goes inside a house and finds a mirror with the sentence "i will be BAC" or something to that effect written on it. going inside the piano room and playing B-A-C will open a door with a razor inside which he can use a weapon of sorts. after that he goes outside the village to a field where there's a man stuck in the top of a well. you have to go get a syringe to put in him (i don't remember why he needed the syringe), which is in an area with some shadows. in the background there's some graffiti which says "the slice wuz here" (the slice is the protagonist's nickname in-universe). after he gets the syringe, he sticks it directly in the man in the well and he falls into the well. the protagonist then has no other option but to fall down the well, after which the demo ends.
there also might have been another character who followed the protagonist around as a helper (think Navi from Ocarina of Time). i may have misremembered some things, since i was still kind of young when i played this and my memory is generally not very good.
resolved [SOLVED] A Famicom/NES game from Contra series Videogame
I remember playing it as a kid, but it was on a borrowed cartridge, and I wasn't able to find it on the Web. What's worse, it could've been ported unofficialy from some other console.
It was definitely a Contra game, I think it was just called "New Contra". As far as I remember, it only had about six levels. First level featured a city, with attack helicopter as a boss. Later levels involved underground bunker with metal walls, something akin to ancient sewers, and later an even more decrepit abyss with jumping satyr-like enemies.
Another notable difference was that flamethrower (F weapon) wasn't like in, say, classic Contra. Typically F weapon sends a projectile flying in circles, back and forth, while inching forward, but in this game it just shot an expanding ball of fire.
Edited by Vindicarresolved Point and Click adventure game with lots of references Videogame
It was a point and click adventure where you played as a skeletal kid who had died because your friend accidentally gave you plums(?) which you were deathly allergic to and your goal was to find your friend before halloween ended. It took place on the day and night of halloween and a few big youtubers played it.
resolved I played a Timon and Pumbaa game on an airplane ride Videogame
As in, this game was available in the built-in screen on the back of the seat in front of mine, and there was likely a remote control of sorts to control it, there are films, games and other sorts of entertainment on it. I forget what airline this was, but in years I'd estimate 2008 - 2014? (That's about the time I was flying most often anyway.)
This game features Timon and Pumbaa, where you control the latter to move left and right on the ground as objects (mostly food) falls from the trees above (I believe it was Timon that was shaking the trees to do this?). One inedible object (that would knock out or weaken Pumbaa for a bit if it hits him) was a wooden sink of all things.
One prominent game mechanic made use of Pumbaa's farts. I forget if it's a charged ability that requires hold and release or a meter that accumulates the more he eats, but sending green fart clouds upwards can knock out bugs that would otherwise hurt him when they fall. Bigger fart cloud = wider knockout area.
Edited by BlackFaithStarresolved Animal mask riot game Videogame
I remember watching a video long ago that was about this game involving a riot crowd fighting against robots (I think), and there were animal masks in it, anybody have any idea what that may be?
resolved Shmup game Videogame
It was available on the Xbox 360, had a Latin name, a red rose(?) logo with red text on a white background and was 2.5D.
resolved MS Dos Point and Click Game (Solved) Videogame
All I can remember about this game is that there was a tree house in the back yard. If you went in the tree house, one of the things you could do was drop food out the door. If you did, when you left, there'd be garbage on the ground, with ants going to it.
Edited by Tylendalresolved Like Frostpunk but at sea. Videogame
I saw a trailer for the game on youtube, all i remember is that its a postapocalyptic game where a new ice age wiped out mankind and the last survivors sail an iceberg filled ocean on ships.
resolved secret agent adventure game for kids Videogame
As the name says I'm looking for a secret agent adventure game for kids, that I'm pretty sure was from the 90's. It involved Guy Fawkes Night and I'm pretty sure the secret agent was some kind of anthropomorphic animal
resolved GBA tetris-like construction game. (Solved) Videogame
As the title implies it was a GBA game were you would build an structure by connecting tetrominoes. The goal was to deal as much damage to your opponents building as possible by creating weapons and protecting yourself with walls, you could also summon a powerful ally that would dealt heavy blows to the opponent. I can remember that it had, at minimum, 3 settings: An stone age setting that had a giant that would destroy things with a club, a middle ages setting that would summon a dragon and a moon setting that would summon an spaceship.
P.D.: It was Fortress (2001).
Edited by megagutsmanresolved Building for goblins??? Videogame
I remember about some months ago seeing a rather cute pixel art game where you play as a little white figure on a small island. You eventually get more stuff to build up and literally expand said island, bit by bit, and you also build shelter for tiny goblin-like creatures (green, pointy ears) and in return they may help you or something. I tried to find it again, and came across Forager, which looks very similar to what I remember seeing in terms of artstyle, but there doesn't seem to be any goblin inhabitant whatsoever, and you build stuff differently for different purposes. I'm just trying to make sure if I remembered correctly and that's a real game, or if I just misremembered what I saw and it was indeed Forager. Or if I just dreamt it all up.
Edited by Jason444resolved Rabbit game Videogame
I dont remember much of this game. Just that the main character is an anthropomorfic rabbit, I think he used a laser gun, and you fight against chameleons.
Edited by ElBuenCuateresolved Leap frog game about animate art tools [FOUND] Videogame
When I had a leap frog, there was a game on it about animate drawing supplies. I think it was an edutainment game that taught about colors and art. I think the main character was a pencil named Mr Pencil and one time he had a brain freeze.
Edited by moefoxesresolved (FOUND) Horror game where you visit a building you once lived in and a shadowy figure hunts you. Videogame
I played this game about 5 years ago, on mousecity.com (when Flash Player worked on Chrome). The title may have been a variation of "Trauma", "Paranoia" or even "13", but I lean more towards it being either of the first two.
You play a guy visiting an old apartment building for a journalistic endeavour, and later recalls that he has a history with the place. The lady on the ground floor, once you enter her room, briefly appears as an all-black figure with red eyes before you see her normally. You have to take her key to advance inside.
The further you go up the building (I think), the more often you will see the shadowy figure. It starts with brief glimpses, then the figure appears for longer, but immobile. The danger starts when the guy starts moving towards the player (it's Game Over if it gets you * at this point, I was too spooked to proceed so the rest of this query is what I recall from a walkthrough), and must be avoided by going into another room.
Now here may be spoilers:
Our protagonist finds that he can interact with portraits on the wall to an alternate world/time where he walks in the form of a child, and this flipping between his past and present self is needed to proceed, as well as evade the dark man on either side. The game ends when the kid enters a room with lots of crime tape and a bloody dead body, along with a note that explains that he witnessed a murder in the building as a child and the trauma of the event haunts him when he returns there.
It's a side-scroller game and I recall that it has a pixel-ly look. I happened upon it (in mousecity.com) in the "Related Games" window that appears below the main window (where the current game you're playing appears). It's possible that I could randomly find it again that way, but I tried that before and haven't spotted it yet.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Edited by BlackFaithStarresolved Mega Man PS1 Game? Videogame
I remember watching my cousin play this Mega Man game, but I don't remember its title. It had Mega Man himself running around in a 3D world disabling electric fences inside a gray building, and then venturing to the outside world and exploring a mall in its Hub Level. There were also four save files, all represented by the floppy disk icon.
resolved Silly "horror" web game Videogame
A few years ago I stumbled upon a rather silly "horror" flash Point-and-Click game that I had no idea how to beat.
It was from a first person POV and you began in some underground passage of sort. If you didn't move quickly and shut a door behind you a ridiculous Humanoid Abomination with crossed arms would pop from under the screen. Still it was rather funny than scary.
If you managed to get away succesfully you ended up in a dark forest of sorts with multiple paths to go. One led you to an area where a black humanoid figure with eyes all over it was scuttling erratically. If you poked it too eagerly it engulfed the entire screen while suddenly acquiring a mouth. It proceeded to trash-talk and then kill you. That's all I remember.
Edited by sohibilresolved A Multiplayer Hack and Slash game with an 80's aesthetic Videogame

resolved (SOLVED) Possible lost media Flash game about Ray-Man... no, not that one Videogame
EDIT: the name of the game is Greymond! my mind must have turned "Greymond" into "Ray-Man" over the years. however, I cannot find anywhere where it is still playable. if anyone has backed this game up, saved it to a hard drive, etc. etc. that would be fantastic! here was the original URL I played the game on:
https://www.abc.net.au/gameon/greymond/
EDIT 2: the game is available on Flashpoint, thanks so much everyone!
note: this is probably going to be a bit long winded, so I apologise. I'm also Australian, so this may be Australia-centric as I don't recall the game ever being uploaded to any other sites
there was this Flash game I used to play back between 2008 - 2010. it was titled something to the effect of "Ray-Man and the Seven Colors"; the latter half of the title I'm not sure on, but I'm 100% certain the main character's name was Ray-Man, hyphenated. the art style of the game was very toony, pretty similar to Homestar Runner. I remember quite a bit from this game so I'll list out everything I can recall:
• I played this game on a website for an Australian broadcasting channel like Rollercoaster (rest in peace) or the ABC • it required something like Adobe Shockwave or Microsoft Silverlight to play as I could only play it at home, school computers didn't allow downloading of executables • Ray-Man was small and fully white, no clothes or anything like that • the game's story involved Ray-Man recollecting colored orbs back from 7 bosses who stole their respective color of the rainbow from the world, turning everything monochrome • the game played like a boss rush where each boss had their own level involving different gameplay. I was absolute trash at this game and only ever managed to get up to the second boss • the first boss represented indigo, and took place in the ocean. you had to jump across platforms to reach the boss before the tide caught you in an auto-scroller • the second boss represented yellow, and it was a race across sand dunes. I could not beat this level for the life of me, I only ever managed to beat it once but had to turn my computer off so my progress wasn't saved. this boss was a lot bigger than the other characters, kind of being The Big Guy of the bosses. I believe he had hair covering his eyes as well. I never advanced past the yellow stage so I have no clue who the other bosses are or how their levels played out • there were little animated cutscenes inbetween each stage
for years I've tried to find this game again, but of course Googling is made difficult when there's an actually mainstream game series that is also called Rayman lol. I've tried checking everywhere and doing Wayback Machine on all the Aussie websites I can remember playing Flash games on as a kid to no avail. if anyone has any leads or even possibly a way to play this game again I'd be eternally grateful, all I've wanted is to beat this game

im pretty sure it was on the switch but not a nintendo title, but it also could have been on itch.io. the game takes place in like a body? it had really cool pixely graphics like qomp and eatgirl. the gameplay is like you shoot blocks at the wall and they stick and you can make like bridges with it. anyone know what game this is?
