resolved Japanese(?) Horror/Psychological Movie Film
I remember very little about this film, but I think I watched it around 2009-2011. I believe it was Japanese but it may have been from somewhere else.
There's a woman who claims to be a psychic and works with the police to find a missing girl, but she's caught making stuff up/lying about being psychic.
There's a little girl who is kidnapped and ends up in a black box/bag in a green forest after she's killed.
Maybe the kidnapper is a woman? Who keeps the girl in her house until she accidentally is killed/dies.
Sorry for lack of info, its very vague in memory!
resolved Singaporean Lilo & Stitch-like movie Film
The movie is about a boy who befriends a robo-alien and keeps it a secret from his strict father. Said father dies in a construction accident at the movie's climax, and the boy releases his pet out of grief, also because he failed to reconcile with his father about his studies. The movie then ends with the boy trying to impress his crush, only for more robo-aliens to show up in a Bolivian Army Ending.

Edited by Dolaakalyannresolved (FOUND) Comedy about a cop being reassigned to a rough neighborhood Film
HI. I'm looking for the title of this movie from 1990-2000 era. It was mostly comedy. It started with a cop, white guy, pulling over a rich guy for speeding (?) Rich guy gets out of his car and smash his own window. Scene cut to police department where rich guy used his connections to falsely accuse the cop of wrecking his car and threaten him. Cop gets reassigned to a dangerous neighborhood with mostly black and Latinos.
First day was a disaster for him: things are rough and violent and his new partner, black guy, doesn't give him any respect. Actually, no one does. Black officer dislike the cop's music and shoot his walkman(?) During a round-up in a house, poor cop get stripped of his clothes and thrown on the streets naked.
As the plot pick-up later, they're both working on a case and rich guy from the beginning is involved. Black officer get shot and sent to the hospital. It's up to the cop to arrest rich guy, which he succeed in the end, despite being injured from a car chase. Cop lie in a hospital bed to recuperate and listen to his tunes. The black officer next to him comes around and load his gun to shoot the cop's walkman.
Edited by Nevermore2002resolved Reading stories makes them real Film
I remember watching a live action movie where the main character (a not yet middle aged white dad), and one of his kids (his daughter) were called "Silvertongues". They could make the stories they read out loud come true in reality. In the climax of the movie, the girl is rapidly writing a happy ending on her arms with a marker in the middle of the Big Bad wrecking havoc, and then reads it out loud in order to beat him and make everyone happy. I think the movie was released around 2000? I honestly can't remember.
resolved Help identifiying a 2000s-2010s film Film
I remember a film from around the time of the late-2000s/early-2010s involving the misadventures of a guy who specialized in making dioramas with mouse figurines (or taxidermed mice). I remember the opening sequence involving him making those dioramas while a Beatles-ish song played, and one scene wherein a lady was attacking the guy's vehicle with a hammer.
Any idea as to what film I'm talking about?

resolved Live action kids' film about a leprechaun I saw on TV many years ago. (Probably Solved) Film
Many years ago, I saw part of a live action film on TV about a leprechaun who plays pranks on a bunch of workers to sabotage them as they try to cut down the forest that he lives in. The woman who is the workers' boss goes crazy when she finds out that all the logging vehicles have been wrecked so no more trees can be cut down and acts like she is going to murder the workers because she hates trees or something like that. Two children who, for some reason I don't remember, live with the crazy lady accidently find the Leprechaun's bag of gold and take it home with them. The Leprechaun follows them home to take the gold back but gets caught by the kids and they become friends. He explains that he is the last leprechaun in the world because leprechauns explode if they lose all of their gold. Later the kids and the leprechaun witness the crazy lady seeming to float down a hallway and the leprechaun identifies her as a witch. I don't know how the film ended. I probably am misremembering a lot of it since I saw it so long ago. I don't think it is any of the ones on the Leprechaun page but I could be wrong.
Edit: The film is probably The Last Leprechaun.

Edited by Dolaakalyannresolved Alien invader comedy movie? Film
I vaguely remember a comedy movie involving an Human Alien invader leader. I think his name is Kruger (Not to be confused with Freddy Krueger and at one point he was advertising an exercise device I think was called "belly twister" or something similar. Anyone have any idea?
resolved European Revenge Drama Film
I'm looking for a European revenge drama, I think it was from either France or Italy. The main character is a young pianist who got her audition ruined because one of her judges' kid caused a scene that disturbs her performance. The judge herself is a renowned pianist. So she dedicated her life to destroy that judge and her kid's life. I think this movie has its own page too but I can't find it.
resolved Post Apocalyptic movie centered around the Nile River. Film
The movie I think was set in a post-apocalyptic around the Nile river, fighting a drought. The main character was a bald black woman, trying to deal with the drought. At one point it was used as an example for bald women. It might be Afrofuturist (but I'm not sure). I think it starts with a P.
Edited by Indigonresolved Comedy About Circus Freak Show? Film
This was a movie I saw on television in the mid-to-late 1990s, a comedy having to do with travelers encountering an evil villain running a carnival freak show. A few details: Early on, the action was interrupted by the camera panning over to a sign (bearing the movie's title?) while a voiceover read a legalese-ridden disclaimer aloud. The heroes asserted that the villain shouldn't be doing whatever it was he was doing, to which he replied that he also shouldn't be in possession of THESE!!! - towels stolen from hotels. Eventually, the characters ended up on a Jerry Springer-style talk show. Anyone recognize this?
resolved European movie parodied by "Marge vs the Monorail" (SOLVED) Film
In "The Simpsons S4 E12 "Marge vs. the Monorail"", Marge visits North Haverbrook and finds a creepy scientist type called Sebastian Cobb. The character design, accent and personality are apparently a parody of a character from a feature taking place in Europe, where he also has to be taken on a trip, except across multiple countries.
Does anyone know what movie it is? It's probably an Art Film from the seventies, and has a painfully long running time. I'm not sure if the movie is actually an European production, or just takes place in Europe.
Edited by Mac_Rresolved Movie poster from this picture? Film
Does anyone recognize the third movie poster from the left in this picture?
https://freeimage.host/i/WGJnm7
I can tell the others are Army of Darkness, Star Wars: A New Hope, The Thing, and Blade Runner, but I don't recognize the other, and the art is way too simple to figure out what it shows, but I figured someone might be able to recognize the style or character?
resolved [solved] World War 2 movie = Film.TheLongestDay Film
This is a World War 2 movie about paratroopers dropped behind Nazi lines in advance of D-Day. Since it's a nighttime drop, there's a danger of friendly fire. Therefore, each man is issued a clicker for Friend Or Foe identifying. One click-clack to query, two click-clacks to respond. One paratrooper hears someone coming and takes cover. He then gives the click-clack query, and gets the two click-clack response. Once this man emerges from cover, he discovers too late it's a Nazi soldier with a bolt-action rifle. The first click-clack jettisons a spent cartridge, the second click-clack chambers a fresh round. This may be a monochrome film, though I saw it on my old b+w TV set.
Edited by oneuglybunnyresolved movie Film
Movie, maybe from the 2000s.
Some teen boy (multiple boys?) is a witness to an incident involving the main character (a woman). The police take him in for questioning and ask him to describe what she looked like. He keeps talking about how hot she was and they have to prompt him to stay on track. The police sketch artist draws a picture based on the boy's description... and it turns out to look like some celebrity. (i.e. not the main character.) One police guy is angry at how it turned out. Another (the artist?) explains that people have a tendency to subconsciously recall celebrity faces/faces they see a lot in the media, or something like that.
resolved Sci-fi movie with Justin Timberlake Film
I remember this Sci-fi movie starring Justin Timberlake where he is in the future and they use their lifetime as currency. When they purchase something, it costs years of their lives.
resolved [Solved] Scientist named Henderson has his research questioned. Film
This was a made-for-TV movie, from The '70s, I think. A scientist named Henderson is doing research into contagions. His pretty lab assistant mindlessly pours a dud batch down a drain without sterilizing it first. The scientist shrugs it off, but the girl has angst over it. The girl's boyfriend despises the scientist, and does a soapbox speech at a campus protest. The man starts out like he's praising Jesus, but takes the approach that runaway germs that overrun the world would regard Henderson as their god. "And every day, I would say, 'Thank you, Henderson! Thank you, Henderson!'" The girl almost leaves her beau to bed Henderson, but at the last moment, goes back to her beau. Does anyone remember what this TV movie was named?

This is a young adult American movie from the 80s or 90s that I saw as a child, but the details are vague in my mind.
The protagonist is a teenager; his big brother was part of a karate club in highschool.
Then the brother was found murdered, and the protagonist suspects that the Karate Club is responsible, so he joins them and tries to investigate them.
He soon finds out that the club has formed a gang led by the teacher who train them, and that the brother was killed when he refused to cooperate with them, and the movie ends when the protagonist brings the gang to justice.
The scene that I remember clearly is when the karate teacher (who seems to give history classes too) was giving a normal school class discussing The Prince of Machiavelli , and he said something like, "the point of the book is that the one with power can do whatever he wants," then he asked the protagonist what he thinks.
The protagonist smiles and says, "It will be great if he is the prince, but bad if he is a commoner."
That is all. Sorry if it's vague.
