openclassic cartoon from 30s Western Animation
I've been looking for a classic old cartoon probably from the 30s/40s. I don't remember if it's black and white or coloured. The plot is about a little boy who I guess comes over to someone's house, but the little girl who lives there is very rude and when they go to shake each other's hands, she pulls her hand back. She does some mean things to the boy, and from what I remember I think she gets what she deserves (karma). i think it was the little boy who was scaring her, and then they become friends at the end. There was a scene with a piano and fish I think. It has the same animation style as the cartoon "boy meets dog" from 1938. This has been bothering me for so long now and i'd appreciate any help! Thanks!
openNumbered supersoldiers Western Animation
The show had these kids with powers that were activated by biting a chip that was implanted in their teeth. I think the characters were given numbers for names. It is even possible it was an anime, but I cannot remember. I've been trying to remember forever, but its hard to remember the details.
Edited by Codimac14openNo Title Western Animation
It was an animated show for kids with really bad early 2000’s CGI animation. There was an alligator/crocodile as the host and he would teach kids about science. He was in a submarine in this one episode and was yelling about how he wanted to go home because he missed his mom and his pizza. Someone please help it’s a really specific show that haunts the depths of my memory
openBeen searching for years for this space show Western Animation
The show was about a group of space patrolmen or superheroes, I don t recall which. They were multiracial and acted goofy. They had a man with them that was either paralyzed or had no bones. There was a particular episode in which the paralyzed man was left with an alien and the alien stuck his proboscis into the paralyzed guy s mouth while they were away and filled him with goo. The man exploded (after they tried to cure his "heartburn") revealing a female alien, who said that it was the man and his little friend combined and made a joke about still having to go to the bathroom at the end of tge episode. It frightened me as a child and has stuck with me since. I would love to know what it is called, at least. I believe it came on Adult Swim. There was another episode where the group was debating the color of skin. The black man said that it was the color of chocolate and the white man said it was the color of bubblegum. That s all I remember, unfortunately. Please help if you can.
Edit: It came on before that show with the two talking dogs and may have been part of a show with other shorts, not sure.
Edited by NthezotoopenA small detail I remember from some animated holiday special or something Western Animation
All I remember is just one isolated detail I saw in something animated around a decade or so ago. No idea how old. I'm pretty sure it was a Halloween or Christmas special or something. I just remember it involved a group of children. And there was a girl whose mother tried to keep her inside by brushing her hair. Does anyone know what this is from? Thanks.
openA cartoon with a monkey leader Western Animation
the show is about a group who fight crime that consist of a maybe-a-human boy, maybe-a-human white girl, and i think a small red charcater shaped like a ball. Their leader was a characater who had a box on his head with a face on it so the other characters doesnt know he is a monkey which was later revealed in the series.
openWhat was that 90s cartoon with the bee villain? (Found it) Western Animation
I suddenly remember this one episode of a cartoon where the protagonist gets captured by a villainous queen bee who forces him to fall in love with her using pheromones. He tries to resist by focusing on hate and flips back and forth saying "love, hate! love, hate!" He might have had a focus on gadgets, and a sidekick? It's not Inspector Gadget, I'm pretty sure.
Edit: Got it! It was Secret Squirrel!
Edited by LTK1openBee with pollen allergy Western Animation
Back in the early to mid 90's, we used to record a lot of stuff from the TV onto VHS, so I don't remember where I originally saw this. I feel like it was the Disney Channel (maybe the Luncbox series), or if not, possibly one of the cartoons that aired on Eureeka's Castle. It was about a bee who was allergic to flowers and would collect random junk rather than gathering nectar with the other bees. One scene had him visiting reading an eye chart and mistaking flowers for other objects, and he ended up getting glasses. In the end, it turned out he was using the junk to build a clubhouse. Anyone know what this was? I remember there not being much animation to it, with most of it being still, and the art style was kind of weird. I remember the bees having long snouts, and they may not have been yellow and black like normal cartoon bees (I remember the main character possibly being purple.) This was NOT Maya the Bee, Bee Movie, or anything like that.
openPersonalizable Thomas the Tank Engine ripoff Western Animation
Can anyone name a personalizable DVD series, where you could put your faces on trains, of which there were at least two episodes, one of which was about going to a land called Tracks-No-More and another of which was about one of their birthdays? The other vehicle characters were a school bus, Uppity-Up the hot-air balloon and Hippie Digger (who wasn't really much of a hippie).
openEnglish Learning Cartoon With Claymation Western Animation
It was for learning english, i remember the show had “time”, “zone”, “english”, with the title (might be wrong). The logo was a yellow paint splatter and it was probably from BBC.
The story was about an old man with a computer which has this clay characters. It was 90 ish looking and this old man make the characters from clay and they can be alive. The animation was claymotion. I remember the character is similar to plonsters.
I remember that one of the main clay character is orange and looked like a hand. His face is in his body and the hair looks like fingers. He had hands. I remember his name is twig or twik (a big chance that the name is wrong). And the other one is purple with hair looked like a rounded brush. The show was extremely colorful with blue and purple as dominating colors. I am confident of my drawing skills and if this is not clear, i could draw it and show it to you.
There’s one episode where there’s a girl character named ms. Malice which had a frown face and being evil to the characters. The old man turned ms. Malice with a smile and changed her name to Alice. Then she became one of the good characters. I am really certain with this episode.
It was packed with a book for learning english and some plushies of the characters.
openShow about art starring puffin Western Animation
When I was in elementary school I saw this show in art class with a puffin as the main character. The memories are vague, but I think he flew all over the world and traveled through time to meet artists like Van Gogh and Picasso. Every time he landed after flying to a new place he would crash land into the ground. Nothing else I remember other than finding the puffin to be Adorkable as a kid. Doubt any of you guys know what it is, but if you do I'd appreciate it.
openangels Western Animation
There were around 5 angels on the show, these angels attended school with normal humans but these humans would see the angels as normal people with normal street clothes however the angels would see eachother wearing all white with a halo and wings, at the end of every show they would go up to the clouds to this building where they would talk to god and tell him what they learned on that day, i remember there was also a baby angel who was the brother of another angel, I cant exactly remember any names but im somewhat sure there was a guy named Lucas
open2000s Cartoon Cat Show Western Animation
All I remember is that it was a cartoon show with a cat but I think I watched it on DVD or VHS, not TV. In one episode the cat goes to a flea circus and then gets fleas on it. In another, it goes into the inner workings of a clock, possibly a cuckoo clock. And lastly, I remember it getting a bird, a parrot I believe, which keeps it awake at night.
Edited by TheGoldenCatopenSummer's On Western Animation
I was looking through my childhood drawings and found an illustrated lineup of shows I had for an idea for a kids' channel called Tall Pop, a 'big kid's' version of British channel Tiny Pop. The shows were mostly pretty well known; MLP, Thomas the Tank Engine, Horrid Henry, etc. - but there was one show that neither myself nor Google can seem to recall, titled 'Summer's On'. It was illustrated with the face of a boy who had a tuft of long hair at the back of his head. Here's my bad childhood drawing of him:
And if anyone's curious, 'The Acorn Show' was a spinoff of the Australian kids' show Play School that I wanted to make back then. Here's the wiki if you're interested.

openBoy Main Character with Red Hair Western Animation
This is a TV show I watched a long while ago, many years. The best reference I have is remembering them possibly using some type of elemental powers and this episode. Where the Boy main character and his female teammate head out in search of this egg in this village, once they find the egg and come in contact they're sent to the past and we find out that the Main Character's parents lived here with him when he was younger, before they both died. It goes through this little story where he spends some time with this parents and them not knowing he was who he was, and he then having to heart-breakingly leave them to return to the present.
openCartoon with a hen using a pot for a nest and getting butt-cooked Western Animation
Earlier today an amazing troper (Omeganian) was able to name an obscure animated film that’s been bugging me for over 20 years. I’m on a high, so I have another obscure cartoon memory:
I remember a cartoon scene I saw about 20 years ago where a hen (egg-laying bird) falls asleep in a pot, using it as a nest, and a chef cooks her while the hen sleeps. I think the chef was fat and had an accent. The hen loses her feathers without knowing and the big joke is that she has a big bottom that ends up bare (featherless) and covered with butter :P The hen finally wakes up and manages to escape getting killed but is very upset about her butt and runs away squawking and holding her cooked bottom. I may be remembering some details wrong as it’s been so long. Possibly it’s from Tiny Toons or an old Disney short.
openCollection of old cartoons on DVD or VHS (SOLVED) Western Animation
I distinctly remember watching old cartoons on a DVD player when I was a kid. It could've been a VHS tape instead, or hell, it could've been pirated, but I swear I remember it having a DVD menu.
I found some of the old cartoons, but the wiki pages don't say anything about being released in a cartoon collection. Again, this could be pirated, I don't know.
Here's what I remember:
- Little Audrey: Tarts and Flowers
- The colored rerelease of The Daffy Duckaroo
- Fifth Column Mouse
- The 1936 Felix the Cat short Old King Cole
- The Popeye short The Umpire Strikes Back
- The Looney Tunes short Crowing Pains
I remember there also being a Bugs Bunny cartoon, but I can't really remember what happened in it. While I've found most of these myself, I'd like to find the actual DVD/VHS itself.
Edited by RainbowPumpqueenopenInfinite Monday Western Animation
I remember being told about a show on these two characters who live through the same monday every day and because of this, they know what and when everything will happen.

Hello, i need Tv Trope's help again to find an old short animated film that i used to see on cable television when i was younger. Here it is, it was an old short animation, in UPA style if i'm remembering well. Basicly, cars where put on trial (in a courtroom) for being polluting, noisy dangerous things. The trial goes utile the lawyer representing cars point out that most of the things cars are accused to do are actualy the drivers faults. The short end when the lawyer says that everybody's guilty in that case, except cars. That's pretty much it, thank you for your help
