openRandom Christmas movie with a mouse? Western Animation
I remember loving this weird Christmas animated movie (1990- early 2000 probably) about a mouse who left the church on Christmas Eve and was for some reason looking for the meaning of Christmas? Along the way he passed a store display And a chilli pepper sang Feliz Navidad. My whole family thinks I’m crazy. I’m pretty sure it’s not Charlie the Church mouse. There was no singing pepper in that one.
openCartoon show Western Animation
So I remember this show about 3 main characters ( they looked like teenagers or younger). The show was animated as well and I believe it was 3D. I watched this back in the middle east around the 2010s, I do believe it was released in North America too though. The show was focused on they're lives. I remember that they always hung out at either their houses or at the school or the skatepark. One character was white and was a boy, he had brown hair, and for the most part wore a brown hoodie. The second character who was a girl, was also white and had pink hair and usually wore a green shirt. The last character which was a guy, was black/brown, had black hair and I believe wore a blue shirt.
open?????? Western Animation
(I accidentally put this into the wrong category, maybe I'll have better luck here. It's a memory that's been bugging me for years.)
I remember stumbling across this fantasy movie in TV Guide. My memory has the description listing it as a classic coming from the 1940s, but I distrust that memory because when I watched the film it looked nothing like theatrical animation, not even European style (which I believe wasn't happening in feature-length that era anyway—even Disney didn't resume that until Cinderella—it looked more flat like TV animation, though it seemed to me to be a bit more fluid, but it's hard to be sure after all these years). This was some afternoon back in the 1970s, and as the movie was already playing when I tuned in. A besieged medieval castle was in the middle of a fierce battle, and one of the young soldiers was inquiring the whereabouts of his boy companion. His persistence made a couple of villianous-looking leaders give each other a meaningful sinister glance.
Later that evening, the battle has apparently died down for the night, as the castle is dark and silent. Suddenly, we see a young kid stealthily creeping through the dark, with guarded expression while suddenly stretching out a hand to snatch an item. However, the theft raises the alarm, and the kid flees. Our hero is roused from sleep to find out his lost companion has burst into his room to hide. Hearing distant shouting by pursuers, the young soldier is confused by what happening and starts interrogating his companion on what in the world is going on here? His suspicions only grow as the shouts grow louder, and he's not getting satisfactory answers from the boy, who turns his back to the hero. But we see that in turning "his" back, the kid's cloak is starting to bulge and hang at the back of the hood, and when our hero impatiently grabs and jerks the kid around in order to face "him", the hood falls off and reveals long hair as she gives a definite feminine outcry of dismay. Eventually, the hero decides to escape, but only barely makes it out of the castle while losing the girl on the way. Fortunately, the enemy forces, commanded by a Robin Hood-type archer, find him and treat his injuries. The young man now realizes he has been betrayed and he is really the rightful heir of the castle, and he is determined to defeat his betrayers and recover the girl as he dictates a furious letter to his enemies, forever renouncing his allegiance to them, until he nearly faints from the effort. The archer who rescued him advises him to settle down, because he would be helpless to do anything until he rested and recovered.
My memory is hazy on what happens over the rest of the movie, but I know that the castle is finally stormed and the hero rescues the girl, and she stands next to him, apparently barely believing she is finally free while the usurpers are dealt with for once and for all. In the end, we see the new lord and lady of the manor taking possession of their new home, when an arrow suddenly buries itself above their door, bearing a letter of good wishes and farewell from the archer, as he and his band fade off (at least metaphorically) into the sunset.
I've never seen this movie again, and never seen anything described like it in the years since. Has anyone out there seen it, and would know what it was?
open(SOLVED!) Gigantic Gulp, Asteroid, Field Trip, and Potty Emergency? Western Animation
This is something I've been looking for for years. It seems so quintessentially "American Cartoon from the Early 2000s", but I seriously can't find anything that jogs my memory! I'm not sure why I'm so fixated on this relatively unexceptional example of Western Animation, but it's one of my strongest childhood memories.
I remember that it aired relatively late at night when I saw it. I also vaguely remember looking forward to it, like when I saw it it was a hyped-up new release of a cartoon or perhaps a pilot. It probably aired anywhere from 2005 to 2009, but it could've been a rerun or I'm remembering it from longer ago than it actually was.
The art style of the cartoon, from what I can remember, was sketchy. Similar, maybe, to the Henry and June segments of Ka Blam! or Chalkzone. I remember the color scheme being mostly blues and whites.
The plot is relatively ordinary for a cartoon from that time. I think there were two protagonists, one of which was a boy, and the other was either a boy or a girl.
I believe that the set-up was that they were on a field trip to a space museum. One of the protagonists had a Gigantic Gulp either filled with soda or a slushie. They attempt to enter a presentation with their classmates, but they're stopped at the door because there are No Drinks Allowed. Rather than waste his precious Gigantic Gulp and throw it out in a trash can, conveniently located by the door, the character decides to drink all of it before entering.
So, the protagonists enter this presentation and soon, obviously, there is a Potty Emergency. I remember the characters searching wildly around and never being able to find a working bathroom. So, soon, looking for a bathroom, the characters mistakenly wander onto a working spaceship.
After that my memory is blurry, but I seem to remember the characters launching and then having to defend their classmates from an incoming asteroid?? I'm not sure how the story ended though.
This is something I desperately want to know if I made it up or if there's anyone else out there who remembers it or has footage of it!!!
Edited by passionraccoonopenStop-motion dog cartoon Western Animation
Okay, so here's what I remember about it:
- The black dog (the protagonist) was a male and the white dog was a female. I think they had same-sex owners.
- One episode had them going ice skating, and the male swings the female around by her tail when he accidentally lets go and sends her crashing into something.
- While the dogs communicate in barks, their thoughts are provided by voice actors.
- Another episode had the black dog probably at a circus; one scene had him falling and landing on his nose (which required bandage treatment), and a later scene had him being launched into the air and crashing right through a wall.
openDetective cartoon? Western Animation
Does anyone remember a cartoon where an African American kid with a pet parrot goes and solves mysteries? I can only remember one episode. It starts with the kid in his room/attic/HQ eating pizza with his parrot and then they have to find a missing cat. They go to the pet store and the pet store employee comments on the parrot having pizza sauce on its beak, and I think he tries to buy the parrot? The cat isn’t there, and eventually they end up at a shipyard or a pier. They hear a weird “meow” sound (if you can call it that) and find the cat’s owner in a ship that’s about to sink or in the water and the detective has to save him. The kid says that he thought he heard the cat and that’s why he was in the water. The cat ends up at a fish store/market and all is well. I can’t remember the name of this show or anything else about it. When I google details I can only find Ace Ventura. Gah, please help
openNeed help finding Anime-style Western cartoon Western Animation
I saw this cartoon over 10 years ago in spanish in Argentina. I don't know what channel it aired on or who worked on it or what the name of it was. It's a mystery that's plagued me ever since, and I'm hoping somebody hear can help me find it. From what I remember, the story was about the world's population being turned completely into stone except for some people. There was an overweight guy with a guy and an Asian woman who was blindfolded with a sword. The cause of all of humanity turning into stone were these singers who had Medusa like powers, where everything that looked in their eyes turned into stone. Even cameras and shit. For some reason, they even had vampire fangs. The cartoon ends with the guy and the Asian lady teaming up to kill the Medusa singer, but they ultimately failed. Even though she was blindfolded, the Asian girl is turned into stone and cracks after one of the Medusa singers screamed in her ear. The guy is also turned into stone, with the cartoon cutting to black after his head falls on the floor and breaks. The animation style was definitely anime-inspired, with of Western comics-style inking. Something like Aeon Flux. This is all I can remember. If anybody knows what I'm talking about, please tell me. I've tried for years to find it, and it's a mystery that occasionally pops up in my head every so often. Thanks.
openDark adult cartoon Western Animation
I haven't seen it but someone described this as darker than Family Guy and quite disturbing. There was mention of plastic surgery, a sheriff and a mayor. I have ruled out: F is for Family, Mr. Pickles, King of the Hill, American Dad, South Park, the Simpsons, The Big Lez Show, Bordertown, Bojack Horseman, King Star King, Jason Steele cartoons and Beavis and Butthead.
openA scared pink dog? Western Animation
When I was a child watching animation in the 2000s, I remember watching a cartoon that centered on a pink dog. I think he lived in the south with his owners, an old couple. I don't remember any other specific details about the show other than his male owner scaring the dog in the opening of each episode. I remember that the show had many scary elements but it was still on a children's network. Does anyone know the name of this cartoon?
openWoman in long, blue dress with a robotic leg Western Animation
A woman in a long, dark blue, formal gown with a high slit leans to the side, dramatically revealing her robotic leg. Notice I say robotic - not prosthetic. I think she is a villain and is certainly a one-off character in a series.
Sadly, this is all I remember, but somehow this character made a mark, and I have long been trying to identify/remember where she comes from.
This would have been an animated TV show shown in the US at some point between, say, 1994 and 2008.
The character I am thinking of is most certainly NOT the red-headed woman who steals Clover's legs in the Totally Spies episode Model Citizens. She is also not one of the Bebe robots from Kim Possible. The woman herself is human, and the robotic leg was a huge, dramatic reveal.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
openStephie says so! Western Animation
I am trying to remember what show had an episode where a consistently incorrect weather girl ends up controlling the weather.
As far as I remember, the plot goes like this: The protagonist is fan of the weather girl "Stephie" (not sure of the spelling). She signs of her weather reports with the phrase "Stephie says so". However, the forecasts are consistently wrong.
The main cast goes out for a picnic in the pouring rain. The protagonist stays out in the rain on a picnic rug insisting the rain will clear, but the rest stay in the car/van/etc. There may be other similar instances.
When they go to visit Stephie, it turns out she gets her forecasts from an old man (her grandfather?) in a room who forecasts the weather based on his bunions, etc. Disillusioned, Stephie finds a way to create a weather machine (possibly in the shape of a giant blender) and starts maliciously deciding the weather calling out in a crazed voice her catch phrase of "Stephie says so!!!".
I thought it was Earthworm Jim or The Tick, but it's neither of those, but I think the show this appears on has a similar out-there style of comedy.
openHairy scientists think they're better than boy? Western Animation
So there's this cartoon and I think it's snowing, and a little boy is trying to save the day, but three guys say, "What can you do?! You're just a little kid with no hair on your body! We're highly educated scientists with a lot of hair on our bodies!" and then they lift up their shirts to reveal a ridiculous amount of chest hair.
openI wanna be faamouuuuuss.....what show?!?? Western Animation
I thought it was either Beetlejuice the animated series or rockos modern Life, but there was a scene from a kids show from I thought Nickelodeon, where the shows main cast climbs a mountain to get wisdom from a guru.
At the top is this squeaky voice character saying, I wanna be faamouuuuuss, wanna be well known, don't wanna have troubles, etc.
Anyone know it???
opena weird cartoon Western Animation
it's a show that used to air on the french teletoon, it talks about a group of 3 people, 2 sisters and 1 friend, that went on a vacation camp with the sisters' parents, then when they slept in their tent they got teleported into another world, the plot revolves around these 3 people trying to find their way back, they end up doing that when they find an old man who tells them how to go back, and it's the same way they got in; by sleeping in their tent again. the show sees many unnatural creatures such as dwarfs, flying pigs, genies in soda cans, a kingdom that values fashion above all else and a town that had it's main popular singer who gets outplayed by the sisters when they steal his spotlight by mistake when the older one tries to cheer up the young one by tickling her, making her giggles and laughter a music the people of this town apparently likes. and as i typed that last sentence i just realized how silly and weird that cartoon was.

openOld cartoon Western Animation
For the life of me I can't remember the name of this old cartoon, it reminded me of cyberchase and I can remember a few episodes, there was one about the kids buildings little racecar type things (derby cars) then there was one about getting stuck in a virtual reality, I can also remember something about a clock tower and parrots or something? Also one of the side characters is a tall guy with a hat and big round glasses that don't show his eyes due to his hair? There was also a Christmas episode about one of the kids wanting a bike from a fancy store.
openKid's cartoon Western Animation

openMain villain is a pickle named Wasabi Western Animation
The only thing I remember about it was that the main villain was a pickle named Wasabi, and that one time the heroes were jumping from flying naval mines to flying naval mines.
openThree Christmas specials, and a Flying Dog. Western Animation
Hello, fellow tropers! Today, I've decided to use my account again because I'm looking for four things.
The first one is a Christmas special that I remember seeing when I was young. The art style was like those traditional 70's-80's cartoons. It was about these five colourful, yet slightly unpleasing to look at (?) Gremlins seeking to ruin Christmas. They unfold their plan by keeping all the Reindeer up by making alot of noise; thus they grew weary when it's time for Santa to deliver presents. I don't remember anymore, but it has a good ending (I think they become Elf or something.).
2.) Another (animated) Christmas special. It's about this puppy and kitten that swap places with elves while waiting to perform in a talent show. I think it premiered in the 70's? The moral was the scrappy, drawn out, "most people don't have what you have, so don't be greedy."
3.) Don't remember much. I think it was Italian, 60's, animated—-with the story of these farm animals gaining the ability to talk, so they can spread the word about Baby Jesus. Their judgement is that they should not be like humans, and they they're better than the selfish ways of humanity (not my words).
4.) A CGI show about this dog that flies by using his ears, travels around the world along side a cat (?) and a bird (??).
Any help is welcome ! :)

Hey everyone, this one might end up being a complete shot in the dark but it's worth a try. It was a show that aired mainly in the very early mornings (3am-ish maybe?) on Channel 4 in the UK sometime around the late 00s and early 10s, and may have originally started or have been a web original. The show was entirely CG and was less animation and a series of singular computer-generated images with character narration over top. The main character was a Scientist who looked surprisingly like Shepard from Mass Effect. The series had a post-apocalyptic setting of some kind. I also believe the main character was trekking across some sort of land (Maybe America?) with his daughter, though that might not be as true as I remember it.
Thanks ahead of time!
