openUpbeat song about being free, sounded like mild 70s rock maybe (unsolved) Music
I heard a song in a store I am not sure if I heard before or not. Sounded like probably 70ish. Male singer. Upbeat and sounded like very pop-radio of the time friendly maybe rock. I hate how I can't remember if it seemed like it had a bit of folk or island flavor or anything, and can't place what artists it reminded me most of. Lyrics were about being free, and I think about everyone being free. "Free" was the last word of the lines it was in. This feels really vague, but I hope it can be found. Thanks.

Song that played on a children's cable music channel 13+ years ago about a bus driver. Mentions a freeway.
openDoes this song contain a signal from outer space? Music
Waltari album Space Avenue features somewhat curious noises in between its tracks. The most curious-sounding one is between Wolves on the Street and Progression - listen to it here
- it actually sounds like a recording of an actual signalnote with some garbled speech mixed-in from beyond Solar System - maybe even the Milky Waynote for instance: quasars make interesting sounds. Can anyone confirm or refute it?
openSong similar to Undefeated by Skillet Music
I remember a song who was similar to the beginning of Undefeated by Skillet (https://youtu.be/ZMr93ZZMFmY?t=19
), however, I can't remember its name or any of the actual lyrics. Just that it was very similar to that part.

openLooking for a genre name Music
1. A genre of hectic, chaotic, and energetic music that feels potentially villainous or mad science-y. Examples: Nasty Habits by Oingo Boingo is the most prominent and "genre-defining" of these, I feel. Some more downplayed (at least, energy-wise? Something wise? I cannot pinpoint it) would be like The Two Headed Cat by The Aquabats!, though the lyrics help it a lot in that case. I don't think it has the franticness as much but the vocals works in the favor of the lyrics and vibes. The B-52s's Rock Lobster wouldn't count, it doesn't have that energy and franticness except during maybe one part.
2. Whatever genre Devo is. I legitimately have no clue and I want to find more songs that sound like their's other than "Weird Al" Yankovic's Dare to be Stupid.
If anyone has the genres of these and/or songs similar to these, you would be making my day(s)!
Edited by FriedBakaopenMusic Video of Things in Yard Music
This was a video I saw on MTV in the middle of The '90s. I couldn't tell you anything about the song, but the video was very memorable. It was a bunch of close-up shots of things in a yard, some of them color-filtered. I'm pretty sure it never showed the band, or any humans at all. There were moving lawn ornaments, wind-up toys, and small animals. At one point it showed an extreme close-up of a blue-filtered earthworm. Really gross. Anyway, I'm curious what song this was, since the video's stuck in my mind all these years.
Edited by ScissortankopenPossible show tune? (Edit: Found it) Music
Edit: it’s “One” from A Chorus Line Edit 2: “The Simpsons” had a parody of it in Treehouse of Horror V
All I remember is that the first line started with “One” and the melody of the first line fit the lyrics “One. Perfect kind of feeling.” I think another line ended with “...that nobody else. Can. Do.” It sounds like a show tune, like it’s from a musical. My mind is associating it with “The Simpsons” but also with horror.
Edited by AnnikaBellopenStock Sound Effect (Bird) Music
Does anyone know the species of bird calling at the beginning and end of this (Mongolian) video
(or the Stock Sound Effect it's from)? I've heard the exact same sound in Pharaoh (which, as its name indicates, is set in Egypt), so I'd like to know what it is to know which one counts as Misplaced Wildlife.
openChumbwamaba song made of samples Music
it had no lyrics besides a sample of old (maybe 50s) narrator saying something I can't remember. The sample I remember the most was the opening of "The Real Slim Shady". It was on Youtube.
Edited by PlmopenTriangle Song Music
So, in math class today we were talking about triangles, and our teacher mentioned that he had heard a song about triangles back when he was in school, but couldn't remember what it was. He said: 1. It was sort of like a "jingle" 2. It focused on isosceles triangles specifically.
openArtist(s) that refuse to publish their lyrics? Music
I once saw an example on this site that said something along the lines of "XYZ band doesn’t allow their lyrics to be published online because they want to be mysterious." Is there anyone like that? It’s not Gorgoroth.
openDance/pop/techno song from the 90's Music
Hi everybody! I'm looking for a song and all I remember are a couple of lines. Song is almost certainly from the 1990's, probably the other half, from '95 to '99. Or from first couple of years of the 2000's. Genre, I'd say it is somewhere between pop, dance and techno, but I'm not 100% on that one. The artist (it's a male voice, if I recall correctly) might be from Europe, because dance and techno were all the rage at that time. It is in English. So, all the lyrics I remember from the song go something like this: "revo revo bi*ch bi*ch, revo revo bi*ch". It might be that number of repetition of each word is 2 or 3 (2x "revo" followed by 2x "bi*ch", or 3x each word). Now, at that time, I didn't really understand nor speak English very well so I don't actually know what is the first word that is repeated. It might be "rebel", cause it makes more sense than "revo", for which I don't know the meaning. Thing is that it is pronounced rather quickly and followed with a lot of bass, so it was difficult for me to distinguish words. And the second word, well... I had a sufficient level of English to understand what was pronounced. That's all I remember for the moment.

openMid 00's youtube AMV Music
I remember this animated music video. It sounded kinda like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50dngX7mb8c&list=PLXsbd-d7oaBdtZre9JHqVWfh9RCNmVS7U&index=78&t=0s
and the main chord/tune whatever sounded like that of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=df0rlvjxl_A&list=PLXsbd-d7oaBdtZre9JHqVWfh9RCNmVS7U&index=53&t=0s
(it's at 2:30.) The visuals from what I remember looked something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5jH0MHZTDE&index=50&list=PLXsbd-d7oaBdtZre9JHqVWfh9RCNmVS7U
(sorry about the links, I'm bad at explaining things.) It was made in either 2009, or 2008. I think it was about a space man. But what I remember for SURE was how much it reminded me of Bit.Trip (a game that's really nostalgic for me tho I never played it, that's the main reason why I want to see this song again.) It was fast-paced and had a sorta "retro" vibe. Please help me if you can.
Update/Extra Details: The animation style was hand-drawn and kinda sketchy-looking. While the colors were quite bright, but the contrast was kinda dark (from what I remember). The "main tune/whatever" thing that I mentioned up top was played on a xylophone, and here's something that's probably pointless but...
I remember somebody commenting something like: "When my cat had *insert illness here* when I'd play this song, I'd imagine the one side of the fight as the illness, and the other side as the cat fighting it off." It wasn't EXACTLY like that, but that's what it spoke of in general. The video took place in a city at night (overall, it looked inspired by NYC.)
Edited by cake64openSimilar composition used in three different songs Music
The songs "Aerodynamic" by Daft Punk, "A.I." by OneRepublic, and "Do You Like My Wang(TM)?" by Freezepop all have sections involving arpeggios with a structure that sounds really familiar to me as if they came from a specific classical work. I couldn't find a specific reference to one in my research. Timestamps on the album versions are as follows:
- 1:00 to the end for "Aerodynamic".
- 3:08 to 3:26 for "A.I."
- 2:27 to the end for "Do You Like My Wang(TM)?"
openGirl boy rock duo? Music
Does anyone know a rock group duo with a divorced couple? They are amicable exes and still sing together. The guy plays the guitar and the girl drums sometimes i think.

I was watching a compilation
of old Nickelodeon commercials, and the song in a summer promo ad caught my attention. I tried searching the lyrics I could make out, but I didn't find anything, and given the audio playing over it I probably can't use any music-identifying apps. The link provided should go straight to the part of the compilation that had the song, but just in case it doesn't work, here's the lyrics I could pick up:
