openArts and crafts tv show early 2000s?? Live Action TV
There was a children’s arts and crafts show on one of those free tv channels that would play every morning or every Saturday morning. I remember that there were a woman and man as hosts but they were older, possibly in their 50s or 60s? I believe it aired either in the late 90s or early 2000s. I remember watching it as a little kid.
They would take turns showing how to make things. One episode I remember in particular was when the woman showed how to make art with marbles and paint.
It’s not Art Attack and it’s not Out of the Box. I don’t think it was on a mainstream channel.
openDocumentary About Mirages and Similar Phenomena Live Action TV
I saw a fascinating episode or special about weird atmospheric phenomena on the Discovery Channel or Learning Channel in '96 or '97. It talked about Fata Morgana and the myth of the Flying Dutchman. It also dealt with Brocken spectres and had a reading from a mountaineer who witnessed such a spectre and believed it to be a divine sign. As I remember, the program included a number of other strange things people have seen over the ages that are now known to be atmospheric phenomena.
openThis comedy show Live Action TV
I remember seeing a snippet of it a while ago, it had a really long title. The format was that the different sections were different shows on a television. It seems like a parody show now that I think of it. There was a bit where the main conflict was that a couple went on a boat vacation hadn't been broken up by murder, and it was seen as suspicious. Another bit was an artsy-looking part where a blonde woman wrapped a ribbon around an egg or a fish as a decoration acting like it was really complicated.
openNYPD Blue Episode (solved!) Live Action TV
What is the title of the episode of NYPD Blue seen in this promo during a TV commercial set?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BCeCsIfrJk4
Go to 21:00
A junkie gives up her kids, no one believed her no one saw her (I think that is what one of the guys says in the promo). The younger kid (a son) tries to reach out to her, just some kid who tries to reach out to his mom.
Please help, thanks. Tried looking it up myself, no luck.
Edited by thestormtrooperopenAnyone know what show that episode is from? Live Action TV
For the longest time, I was convinced this was a The Twilight Zone (2002) episode, since I remember watching it as a self-contained short story around the time I was watching that. However, while summaries from that show fit with stuff I remember watching, none seem to fit with the episode I'm looking for.
So here's what I remember:
Because of a shortage of ressources, most people are basically on a timeshare of their life with one other person. People are divided into "Alphas", dressed in black and wearing an earring shaped like an "alpha" letter and "Betas" dressed in white and wearing an earring shaped like a "beta" letter. At any given time, all the Alphas are working and generally "really living" while Betas are in some sort of deep sleep in a pod, or all the Betas are working while all the Alphas are sleeping. The groups seem to be switching situations on a fairly regular basis.
The Alpha (a black woman) and the Beta (a white man) who use the same dwelling have taken to leaving holographic messages to each other and seem to have developed a friendship, if not something more than that. While this is happening, the people in charge seem to have a plan that would result in all Betas being killed, and expect to get away with it beacause Alphas and Betas are assumed to not care for each other. However, the Alpha from the pair of friends ends up being the date of one of the people involved for some sort of event and gets wind of the plan. What happens after this is fuzzy, but I remember the "main" Alpha finding her friend's pod and opening it.
openUK tv show around 2000s about a boy vs alien who had a robot helping Live Action TV
I keep remembering i believe an english UK bbc or other channel television show about a boy who is trying to defeat an alien and he has to find crystals. If memory serves me correct. I think he is helped by a friendly alien or robot. I think he has this tool/his arm can turn into a sword or gun/blaster?

openanyone know a tv show about monsters? Live Action TV
i'm trying to find this one show i used to watch when i was 7 and no matter how hard i look on google, i cant find it.
it was a tv show about a group of monsters that lived in a house together and these three kids (two boys, one girl) would sometimes visit them and the whole show in general kinda gave me 'the munsters' vibes
i remember the main monster, i think he was like the leader or smth, looked like count von count from sesame street mixed with a clown?? idk
there was also a werewolf and a newly-joined monster (have no idea what kind of monster they were) and in one episode the werewolf tried to pull the other one's hood off and was freaked out bc underneath it was a bunch of bugs i think, sort of like oogie boogie
and lastly, i remember there was an episode called like "bad soda" or something where the girl drank some soda and something weird happened to her, dont remember what
i hope that's enough information, i can't remember the title of the tv show for the life of me. (sorry it's so long, btw)
openPriest mystery UK mini series late 70s/early80s Live Action TV
This was probably classed as a family or kids show as it was based upon a young adult fiction book. It was either 4 or 6 part 30 minute episodes in the very late 70s/early 80s shot mainly on video. It was shown in the afternoon after school. The main character was likely a priest or chaplain investigating a mystery, possibly a murder, that lead to the discovery of a valuable artifact. There was a scene set on a small canal boat, possibly a confrontation.
I did not see another series of this character, but its possible there may have been another book or two in the series. I am confident it was not Father Brown from 1974 as that was more a mature evening drama series.
Edited by kiwi_glimmeropenTrying to find what show this quote is from [Solved - Brooklyn Nine-Nine S2E20] Live Action TV
The lines run something like this:
A: You've got internal bleeding B: Blood's supposed to be inside, i'm fine.
For some reason my mind keeps sliding toward Babylon 5, but I don't know if that's right.
Edited by vtmarikopenDeceased Japanese Schoolgirl Live Action TV
I remember seeing this on TV: A crime scene is happening, focusing on the victim: a dead Japanese girl (a teenager, or maybe younger, I forget). She is wearing some sort of school uniform that looks like the uniforms that Japanese schoolgirls wear. She is shown dead with open eyes and a calm look on her face. Someone then places his/her hand on the girl’s eyes to close them. That’s all I can remember, the rest is a blur, sorry. Can anyone help me out, please? Thanks.
openCrime Drama Episode Live Action TV
So, all I can remember is a specific episode of the show, and bits and pieces at that. A woman is found dead (I believe by the guy believed to be her one night stand, but he may not have been who found her). They track down the guy who they think is her one night stand, but he says that she wasn't who he went home with. Instead, he identifies her younger sister as the person he slept with. Turns out that the younger sister killed her big sister because she thought she was standing in the way of her becoming famous. When whoever it is goes to arrest her, they find her sitting at the side of her imminently dying dad, and decide to wait until he's dead to arrest her.
openLate 1990s/early 2000s Disney Channel show Live Action TV
I know this sounds obvious, but it's about a group of four teenage friends who stumble upon a great-grandfather's jersey with the uncanny ability to transport one of them into possessing the body of a famous sports star.
openAsian Drama Live Action TV
There is an asian show that I watched probably 6 years ago. It was about a boy and girl who fall in love and the girl gets sick. Her father, who I think is a doctor, cryogenically freezes her until they can find a cure for whatever she has. The boy grows older until one day the girl awakens with amnesia and she is still very young. The boy, who is now a man with a full grown child, finds her and is still in love with her but she doesn't remember him and he's a lot older than her now. She ends up falling in love with his son for awhile and then something happens and she ends up gaining all her memories back and falls in love with the man again. I remember a detail about the girl was that she always painted only her big toe nail red and left the rest of her toe nails natural and that is how the man recognizes her. I THOUGHT the name was something like Ice Princess but haven't been able to find it at all! Please help!
openChristian (presumed) Sci-Fi Show Live Action TV
I have some memories of watching a science fiction oriented show that had (presumed) biblical references to it: but all I remember was a woman who had a sword, she was shot by a phaser-like weapon and presumed to be killed, and she would wake up as if nothing happened.
My memories are SUPER fuzzy on what it was called, but I do remember it was something I watched an episode of alongside Bible Man and Veggie Tales. Due to this, I am in the belief that it was some type of Christian show. Can anyone help remind me what it was?
Edited by ArcaneTroperopenOld tv show that i barely remember Live Action TV
Not much left in my brain about that tv series - i watched it in early childhood. I may have mix up something with x-files or other shows. But anyway... Production is probably Canadian or American, mid or late nineties. It's about agency that investigates paranormal and urban legends. At first i thought that show had something about Arthur Conan Doyle in naming, but then i realized Doyle is probably surname of one of the characters. I remember two episodes. One is about literal column of darkness that grows in someones house and second one is about parasite that matures into predator outside of host`s body (yes-yes, alien, haha) and killed wife of one of the characters. I know, i gave little to none information, but i`ll be grateful for any tips and suggestions
openThing where Big Bird and Bear met Live Action TV
There has been two images used in Bertstrips showing Big Bird and Bear meeting.
https://www.reddit.com/r/bertstrips/comments/dl23wd/hell_meet_a_lot_of_other_bears_up_there/
https://www.reddit.com/r/bertstrips/comments/as5pq8/this_was_the_worst_tragedy_prior_to_911/
I've been trying to find the origin of these images for some time now to no avail. I tried looking on the list of Bear in the Big Blue House appearances on the Muppet Wiki and couldn't find anything. All that I know is that it might have been before the We Are Family video that Bear and Big Bird appeared in with other characters like Barney. I figured others in the community would be of help in identifying the source. I'll be grateful if anybody could have any tips and suggestions.
Edited by DongwaChanopenMagic items turn into everyday objects Live Action TV
Hi I’m trying to find out the name of a kids tv show from the mid 90’s possibly. It was a British show I think. The show had 3 children 2 boys and a girl who end up in a magical world. They each bring an item back from the magic world I think they were a Goblet, stone and possibly a sword. Once they bought they items into our world they changed into everyday objects. I remember the stone became a house brick and the goblet was a tin mug. They hid these items in the loft at one of there homes to stop the bad guy getting them who had followed them through the portal. This is all I remember I know I didn’t dream it because I remember watching it twice as it was repeated. I think it was on CBBC. Any help would be appreciated.
openTelevision show title inquiry Live Action TV
How would you find a television show without knowing the actors’s names or title based on scene description alone?
I have a question about a television program that I saw in 2013 that involved possible lockpicking and other scenes associated.I have tried many methods in searching for this television program and I find it peculiar that I am not able to find what I viewed.I have tried many websites, google,Reddit,Quora,IMDB,contacted the FCC, talked to many people on a person to person basis, contacted many companies, television networks, and cable service providers.I have not been able to identify the television program that I saw in 2013 based on scene description.I would like to raise awareness that a television program based on scene description without knowing the title of the program or the actors’s names could be an issue that faces others also.I saw a television program in 2013 that had a woman in a red dress with blond hair sitting alone in a pitch black room that vanishes next to a green lamp.In another scene a man uses keys or lock picks on a keychain to try to unlock a doorknob while standing next to another woman panicking. In another scene a man encounters a room with racks of weapons and another woman is there also.In the end credits a woman is speaking and says whoever is watching us must be testing us and must know what we’re doing and must be on to us.There is a warehouse and a city overlooking it in the background.Without the proper information one can face such an issue of not resolving such a problem of knowing image based descriptions of a television program and not the name of the program and other related information beyond images on a show.Based on what I saw on television I would like to know the name of the program.

Hey y'all, so I'm trying to find an episode from a series I watched a long time ago. I'm not sure what the series is about as such, but I do remember the episode synopsis, and I believe I watched it in the late 2000's/early 2010's:
It may not start at this point, but this is where I tuned in. So there's this guy discussing a relationship thing with a girl and it doesn't work out. The guy takes a walk and finds a monk. The two have a conversation, and then the guy leaves the monk and crosses a bridge. But when the guy crosses the bridge, he is sent back in time to the point he is discussing his relationship with the girl again.
At first, he is taken aback, leaves the girl, and talks to the monk again. The monk explains the bridge thing, and that the man is now stuck in time because he has to do something. The man takes this to be make the relationship work out. So he goes back in time again and this time he makes the relationship work out. But when the guy crosses the bridge he is still taken back in time.
After going to the monk AGAIN the monk explains that maybe he is being taken back in time not because of the girl, but because he has to do something morally. The man takes this the wrong way at first and believes because he threw away a sweet wrapper during his conversation with the girl he is being punished, and so he shouts something at the sky like "I'M TAKING THE WRAPPER AND PUTTING IT IN MY POCKET! NOW, WILL YOU PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE?!"
Once more the person is taken back to the relationship talk. This time the man properly thinks about what he needs to do, and at this point, he realises that there's a baby dinosaur (?) left in a bush to die. The couple goes and saves the dinosaur's life. Since this was what he was meant to do, the man is now able to cross the bridge, and he does so.
Would love to see what the entire series of this episode was. It was also broadcasted in the UK. Hope this helps.
