openSeries of urban and dark fantasy movies Film
The movies take place in the modern day. The protagonist is a white woman with black chin length hair, playing a vampire and dressed in black latex, She appears to be part of an underground organization. There's a vampire vs werewolf thing going on, but in one of the movies there's a guy who somehow is both and therefore everyone hunts him down. I'm pretty sure there's also a subplot with the guy who turned the protagonist into a vampire - apparently it went down in the middle ages or the victorian era, and he killed her entire family, deciding to turn her because she had spunk.
openUgly Duckling Inspired Film (Solved; Duck Ugly) Film
From what I remember, the film was very loosely based on the classic Ugly Duckling story, but there was a prophecy surrounding the duckling, and they had a ladybug sidekick (Or something similar) who has a Disney Death at the film's climax. Another thing I remember is that there was a side character that resembled (or was) a Jack-In-A-Box, and the only line from the film that I remember is when said side character refers to the protagonist as "The Seventh Child". That's pretty much all I know about the film and I can't find it anywhere online.
Edited by Redball2050openVet giving girl her bunny Film
Many years ago I was channel surfing and I saw a scene where a woman vet was putting a rabbit in a cage and telling a little girl something like this:
Vet: From now on, your bunny will eat salad, carrots... no more chocolate cookies, okay? Girl: Okay!
It was most likely a movie, but I cannot say for sure that it was not a series. Thanks in advance!
Edited by Azure-ReflexopenCreepy Child horror film Film
Hi there. This time around I'm trying to find the name of a live action horror film. In it a nanny is tasked with caring for a boy named Eric Keys. We don't see much of the child and everytime the nanny approaches his door there is a noticeable growling sound. Though when he talks, he sounds like a normal little boy. At one point in the movie, the Nanny tries to bring him some lunch only to hear the same growling noises. She slips the tray through the door only for it to come sliding back very quickly almost as if it were thrown at her. The little boy screams "I don't like tunafish!" At another point, she reads a poem written by the little boy. The last line is "Ended up dead" it's complete with a drawing of the nanny and Eric hanging by their necks. Needless to say, she didn't take that well. Google turned up nothing but I distinctly remember scenes from this film or show or whatever it was. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
openLampshading Endless Ammo in Westerns Film
Ok, does anybody know the movie that a conversation after a shootout that goes something like this? :
Sidekick/bystander: "Nice work, you just killed 9 men with a 6-shooter" Hero: "I know, and I've still got 2 bullets left"
openMovie or show with an afterlife theme Film
It's either a movie or a show I saw 15-20 years ago.
A man is floating around in a cavern with walls made of something like flesh. A ghost or spirit of a girl or woman beckons him to follow her, and he starts crawling through a narrow claustrophobic tunnel with the walls still made of something organic, perhaps flesh, perhaps tree roots. The man is suddenly jerked back and the camera follows him out of the cavern and comes out of the man's eye as he's being revived on a hospital bed.
That's the only scene I remember.
openSomething like a "British Supernatural Agency" Film
I'm not sure of the plot, but the thing of the movie is that the characters were real version of really known british stories. Like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, that he was like Hulk, he was a normal guy who transformed into a bulked monster.
openEarly 00's horror movie Film
The name totally escapes me; it was this old horror movie so long ago I don't even remember the plot, but the intro had this scene where a guy (the main character) was going through this shack and as he approached this crying woman with her back turned she shoved a snake against his neck and it tore a chunk it of him but then it turned out he was dreaming it. Also, he had a job at a computer store with a dickish boss and this girl came in asking for help cleaning her laptop (it was red wax from when she was doing some occult stuff). I can't remember anything past that. Also, the opening music was kind of ethereal; y'know, the gamut for early 00's horror/thriller movies. I think the lyrics were something like 'vanishing near, disappearing, fading', something along those lines.
Edited by JassoopenOld-ish cartoon? Film
I grew up in southern Europe, and I remember watching watching this doubled cartoon of a blonde girl who lived in the apartment with her cat, who finds a dog when she was leaving a party late one night. The dog was in a box, and the girl had a pink motorcycle. The dog was just a body for what was actually the soul of a prince, who leads her to go into a trip to save him, because he was trapped in a some sort of room in a corridor full of doors in a temple somewhere. I think the prince's name was either Shera, Shira or something around that family. I've been trying to Google a bunch of Clues to see if anything comes up but nothing.
Edited by KejsiShuaipiopenA Mary Pickford film Film
Does anyone know which film this scene is from? I saw it in a documentary about Pickford. I know it involves a baby dying, or something to that effect.
openBlack and White POW movie Film
I'm looking for an old POW movie, it is in black and white so probably 40s or 50s era. It is not Albert RN or Stalag 17''.
It is a movie about a wheeler dealer in, I think, the American Military who is moved around various POW camps including being sent to a logging camp where the other POWs think he is a traitor and try to murder him with a meat hook or logging hook. He eventually escapes near the end of the war, after he makes contact with a female member of the resistance who is an optician or optometrist. He also manages to trick the German guards at the logging camp into burning down their own camp at one point.
Can anyone help with this? Again, it is not Stalag 17
Edited by CrypticMirroropenOld movie with characters sent to another world Film
Hi everyone, I'm searching for a movie I used to watch when I was a kid (during the 80's, but the movie itself could be older). All I remember is that in this movie a strange green pyramid appears in a kid's room and strange things happens, and the characters end in a an other world or the future, can't really tell.... Loved this thing I would like to see it again, thanks in advance for the help !
open90’s or early 2000’s Film
Very vague memory of a cartoon movie/show that featured villains that look like the mayor from a nightmare before Christmas however more regular cartoon like. The villains met or lived in a black space like area. I used to rent it at blockbuster when I was a young child. Their heads popped off at times I’m pretty sure. It could have been its own video tape or possibly an extra before some other video. The villains are far triangular prisms with pointy heads and hats.
openWedding Dance that leads to Death Film
I watched this scene from what I think is a movie a long time ago. It featured a senior man dancing at a wedding, and a gunman appears from behind and starts firing shots every so often. The man says, "Ooh! Ah!" as if he's showing off, but when he notices the blood on his outfit and notices the gunman, he falls to the ground in slow-motion as the entire crowd panics. What is this from?
openShort Christmas Film Film
I believe it was a special on Christmas Day, a few years ago and I watched it in the UK. I kinda want to find it again because of how tragic it was. I can't remember what channel is what sadly. It first started out sort of like a 3D animation, with a daughter, grandfather and mother I think in the garden and maybe putting out clothes on the peg line? I think the grandfather was trying to tell his granddaughter a story and the mother butted in with her own one. It then changed to a 2D animation as she told the story. It was of a poor, old man who didn't have a lot. There was this man, who was in some ways, rich and treated him not so well. It was around christmas in this story as well. The rich man's daughter was dreadfully ill and the doctor was out of town. The old man, poor decided to walk all the way there (in bare feet) as the snow and wind came his way. He found the doctor and let him know of the girls illness. The doctor asked him if he wanted to ride on his horse with him, but the man declined and started to walk back again. The weather was getting worse and he fell off the road/cliff and died. When it came to his funeral, the rich man wanted to take one side of the coffin, stating that he was a good friend of his. (lies) Anyway thats all I remember.
openOlder Movie, Just Caught Ending Film
I'm trying to remember the title of a movie I just caught the ending of on TV some years ago.
The ending has a guy who seemed to be a sort of former greaser/bad boy type talking with a police officer because it turns out he was on parole or some such and had driven a car against the law. The police officer only found that out because a woman who seemed to be friends with the guy on parole filled out an insurance form without realizing he'd get in trouble for driving the car. She and several others lie to the police officer that they'd made a mistake and that someone else had been driving. The former bad boy tries to be honest but the police officer, not wanting to arrest the guy, pretends to believe the lie and lets him go.
I remember the title had the word "May" in it somewhere (as in the month) and the colors looked like it was a slightly older movie, say from the 50s.
openPlease help me with this movie Film
I'm trying this for the second time because I bumped the old question probably a hundred times. This is what I wrote in my first question. "The only thing i remember is that it started in a car. It was driving through a tunnel and there were lights flashing on both sides, then it drove out of the tunnel and turned to the left. On the right there were barriers and behind them a forest i think. You could not see them but in the car there was a child and his parent(s), they were talking and the parent(s) started to tell the kid a story when they got out of the tunnel. Please, if anyone has any suggestions, write them! Thank you."
We also know that:
-It isn't Spirited Away or The Brave Little Toaster or Phantom Tollbooth or Dungeons And Dragons
-It's a kids movie in case I didn't mention it already
-The lights on the sides of the tunnel stayed on screen for a long time (like a minute or so), they didn't just flash for 2 seconds
-It's not anime
-It's older than 10 years
-It may have been on a VHS tape
-I also think that there were animals in it (not sure about this one)
Even if you are not sure about it, please at least try. You could be right. :)
Edited by JohnBenccsonnopennot a show, but a weird movie I've been trying to find for years Film
All I remember about it is there is a young boy, who's name I think was Jake, maybe, not definitely. He goes to some place that is like a prison camp or something. The warden or whatever is this pro wrestler or something, and if you see his real face you melt or something? And, spoiler, at the end of the movie he wakes up in some market or something and it was all a dream. Maybe this was all a dream I had. But if you know what I'm talking about, I'll be so grateful
openthat tv episode of anthology series maybe Robert Ryan starred Film
there was I think a Robert Ryan-starred tv episode...perhaps a movie, perhaps both (if that is possible) about the husband getting left out in the 1950s / 1960s desert to die by his wife & her lover...only to survive...& ends with the duo returning to find him..seeing him escape..& the duo running off into the desert themselves to escape the law....

When I was a kid I was really interested in reptiles and amphibians for some reason. At one point my mom got me this educational video about reptiles, amphibians and birds. I only watched the first two parts but I remember they had songs that also had info about the animals in question, along wiht playing a video showing various reptiles/amphibians. For some reason, I remember the amphibian song the best,, at had a fairly fast tempo and a male singer, and I distinctly remember the line "It's always such a treat, to watch those little feet" as it showed some frogs crawling around. I am wondering if anyone knows what this is in case someone uploaded it to You Tube.
