Ok now, I know what the title of the movie I'm looking for is and even what that film is, but I can't find anything on it and I hope some of you can. Any help will be followed by many thanks.
The movie is the MEGAOBSCURE extremely rare 80s kung fu movie Day of the Tiger, which supposedly was destroyed because of it being so ultraviolent. It is directly mentioned in the film folder of the Missing Episode page. I am looking for anything from it, a single clip, a review, some evidence of its existence...anything. I'm a huge fan of gore movies and martial arts films, and I'd love to actually see this hitherto unheard-of (by me) movie in part or whole.
Thanks for any assistance.

I once saw a live-action scene with sailing ships in the clouds, but wasn't able to stick around and see what I was watching. IIRC it was the beginning of a movie, but I tuned in too late to see the title on screen. I'm under the impression it was from the '80s, though I don't know what possible basis I could have for that belief.

I remember, a few years ago at least, watching this french film on one of the indie film channels.
The main character was (I think) a policeman, and his wife had died, but then later on in the film it turned out she SURPRISE wasn't dead and it was all some kind of conspiracy or something.
And at one point the main character had to run across a motorway. That is literally all I remember. I know exactly what he looked like, but I cannot for the life of me describe him. Apart from 'sort of but not really' looking a bit like Al Pacino.
I think it may have been produced by Canal5 or something.

I don't remember what year this movie was made, but I think it was 2002. It was with a guy and a girl perhaps in their twenties luring drivers by faking car accidents and asking for help then robbing them. Eventually one of their intended victims outsmarts them and turns out to be some mobster that offers to hire them.
Some other stuff that I remember (not sure how accurate it is): the mobster needs to persuade the City Council to get something built but they decline (due to some reluctant local shop owner? or is this from Gremlins?). Then he sends the girl to seduce one of the members of the Council (?) but the councilman tries to rape her on the beach and the girl kills him in defense.

Hey all, this is a film I saw on video maybe 15 years ago. I could've sworn it starred Robert Stack, but I don't see a match on IMDB.
It's set in maybe early 20c America, centered around a family, from mostly the POV of a ~13/14yo son. A young female housekeeper moves in with them. She soon has a brief sexual encounter with the father, as boys secretly watch, but he backs off before it goes very far. One night the son asks if he can touch her; she protests at first, but later consents, and takes pleasure in it. Later that night she bursts into his room and pleads that he not tell anyone, realizing how it would look for her. He complies, giving his parents a cover story for his lack of sleep involving looking at naughty comics all night.
Later, she becomes ill, and the doctor suggests that during the course of surgery he could remove her ovaries, thus curbing her hypersexuality. The father signals approval at first, but then the mother (?) intervenes in the conversation, describing the proposal as monstrous (with the word "mutilate").
I think some characters die, and at the end we fast forward to the son seeing the father years later.
Anyone?

I'm unsure if this a film or an episode of something. Nonetheless it was live action. I recall it being a scary movie, or at least it was to me when I was five or six. It was from sometime in the late 80's to early 90's, I assume. The only part of it I remember is this:
A young girl is in her bed ready to go to sleep. She is suddenly attacked by claw-like plants or something that come out from behind her bed. There's also something lurking in the closet I believe. She screams and her parents who were downstairs drop their pots and pans and run up. They try to get into her room but it's locked. They shake the door and knock on it as well.
That's all I remember. Help would be appreciated.

This is a longshot. This is an educational film (16mm) that I saw in elementary school, which would make it late 70s/early 80s some time. The actual film probably dated from the 50s or early 60s, definitely not much later than that. It was a sort of primer on learning to spell, getting kids to sound out words to try and figure out how the pronunciation relates to the spelling. The kid is trying to figure out how to spell the word “precipitation” and he keeps saying it out loud, sounding out each syllable—“Pre-ci-pi-TAY-shun”—as the parts of the word appear on screen.
Another educational film I remember from around there, more vaguely, though. It was also probably from the 1960s at latest. All I remember was this kid would look around his bedroom and his stuffed animals would give him words of advice (I distincly remember one said “Pay attention!”).

"ISLAND OF THE...?" A low-budget sci-fi movie that aired on TV when I was growing up in the Seventies. People on an island menaced by creatures—can't recall if they were aliens or the product of an experiment gone wrong. Here's the gimmick: they looked like giant tortoise-shells with long, snake-like heads. They didn't move very quickly, but they were silent and unstoppable and multiplied frequently (splitting in half, revealing a spagetti-like interior.) If they "got you" they'd suck all the moisture out of you—or some nonesense like that. I guess they mostly got you in your sleep, or by stealth—certainly there were no chase scenes!
Ring any bells?

This film is maybe late 80s. I remember the plot but don't know the title. A businessman gets ahead in life and work with a series of murders.
First is his wife, who he kills by rigging a basement lightbulb to electrocute her when she changes it; her last words to him were "I forgive you for failing", in reference to something I forget, which he sees coming and which confirms his decision to kill her.
Later, he kills an office rival who's making his life at work miserable after being promoted over him (but lacking the authority to fire him outright), including putting an assistant in his office.
At the end, he kills one more person by blowing up his private plane.
A detective is hot on his trail but hits a brick wall due to someone's death (by suicide? I forget).

I saw this ages ago on late night tv, a British movie, at least the cast sounded british, probably 60s but takes place in the earlyish 20th century, definitely in color.
Young man in love with girl, her father, a car enthusiast at a time when cars were new, hates him so young man tries to impress him by getting a fancy but very difficult to drive car, the father will allow them to marry only if he gets his driving licence. At the end he takes the exam with future father in law in the back seat, is very nervous and seems to be failing until a policeman commandeers the car and orders him to pursue some criminals telling him to forget the road rules. They catch the robbers, but he fails the exam, nevertheless the father is impressed with his driving skills and allows the wedding.
I remember the car being big, green and convertible, full of knobs and levers, and one of the tests involved going up a steep hill, which very few cars could do.
The same cast did another movie with similar plot but different characters.

Pretty sure it was a film. Had a little kid who'd been shown with his 6-shooter toy guns. There's a later segment after the bad guys have been introduced, where he jumps out, his toy guns clicking as he "blows away" the bad guys followed by a cut away from the scene as they imply that he died shortly thereafter.
Pretty sure I'm not just misremembering that scene from Bubba Ho Tep involving the old guy dressed as the Lone Ranger... it was more of a "dive from cover guns blazing" movement than slowly backing up while firing ineffectually.

There was a short film that I found here about a month or two ago, but I cannot for the life of me remember where I found it or what it's called. It was about these two characters, one, a boy looked like a humanoid bird (sort of), and the other was a human girl. The boy was making a doll of the girl, and once the doll was finished it was suddenly changed so it was the reverse, and once that doll was finished, it would switch back. They key idea was that the two couldn't really exist and see each other at the same time. I thought I had seen it from the HONF page, but I looked on New Media, Other, Web Animation, etc. and I didn't see it, nor was I able to find it in Accidental Nightmare Fuel... Any ideas?

All I can remember of this film are bits and pieces, the major thing being that a boy drew a picture of a snake that has swallowed an elephant, and everyone makes fun of it because it looks like a cowboy hat.
It seems the boy travels to a planet made entirely of books or something at one point...
Anyway, I remember catching a couple of scenes of this and thinking I would like to finish it, but can't remember the name.

OK, this is a movie I rented back in probably the early 90s. I got it off the "Cult Classics" shelf of a Red Giraffe Video.
The exact plot escapes me, and so do any of the actors. The male lead was a teens/early twenties kid who was the 80s version of a "greaser". You know, troubled, leather jacket, etc, but in the 80s or beyond, not 50s style.
The thing that set the plot off was a video tape people rented. The movie on that tape was a 1950s style scifi movie, where some lady in a beehive hairdo and "future clothes" was talking with her husband about watching a movie on their home movie device. So she takes out a cassette thing like the size of a cafeteria tray, and puts it in a device. And then bad things happen to the people watching the rental tape in the "real world".
(So I rented a video about people getting killed when they rented a video, which was about people watching a video.)
It was a huge conspiracy that the greaser kid and his girl tried to thwart, but I think it had a downer ending.

From the old page, since I'm not sure where else to put this:
- I asked about a bunch of movies on USENET years ago, here's the only two nobody could remember: A live-action sci-fi film from the 1990s(It has some CGI) in which some kids and their parents from different eras in time are drawn into a future where they partake in weird VR-ish games. the loser has some kind of liquid called "Blue" drawn from them, this "Blue" bestows immortality upon the imbiber, but the imbiber is then "Hooked" on it, and will wither, then die. Without an occasional dose of "Blue". Here's some scenes I remember:
- There is a scene around the start of the film where a huge set of dominos is tipped over.
- There is a scene in the middle of the film where one of the children's father fights in a VR-ish Swiss ski resort.
- There is a scene where some "Blue" is spilled out of a tanker truck, causing a patch of flowers to grow and bloom in seconds.
- It sounds like Timemaster
Yes, that's it! Incidentally, that website strains my confidence in humanity, it sort of reminds me of this

I've been trying to remember the name of a film for the life of me, fairly certain it came out around the early 2000s. It was a caper flick, and it involved some people stealing gold at the movie's outset. As they were driving along a scenic mountain path, one of the guys betrayed them and took the gold. Another thing that sticks out was a thief who left behind a black fox statue, and a policewoman who could open safes. Hope this is enough to go on.

I remember watching this film on HBO or some pay-per-view TV program - the movie was about a dystopian city (or world) where this woman and her husband try to escape. They are attacked by some gang and the woman is about to be abducted by the gang until the husband's brother shows up and blasts them with his shot gun.
Throughout the rest of the movie, the woman and her brother evade the gang and try to get her to some dispatch helicopter for her escape. Some insinuating moments in a hotel, and he finally gets her to the helicopter to be saved. He comes back for some reason and notices that the helicopter people are all shot and the woman was taken. He tracks down their base, shoots people down, takes on bad guy and saves her - the end (I think).
Oh yeah, everyone was pretty much blonde and the woman was pregnant.

A movie I watched on television a few years back. It might have been a made for TV movie. In it, there's a killer on the run who is being chased by this FBI guy. This woman who works at a gas station / general store ends up outsmarting the killer and locking him in the bathroom of her store. The FBI guy had been shot so she tries to get him help, but it turns out that he was actually the killer and the other guy is the FBI agent trying to catch him. Anyone know the name of this movie?
