openWhere did this quote came from? Anime
I am pretty sure it is either an anime or a manga, but which one? All I remember was this quote, it is a bit paraphrased, but the point still stands.
"We are nothing but minds trapped inside a game called life."
That, and it was said by an antagonist. But I really forget the rest, not even the villain's appearance.
openGang related anime i think Anime
I am trying to find an anime I remember watching awhile back. Most of it is vague but it was about some kind of gang I think with all members being forced to where their symbol on either a earring or necklace. The symbol was half the yin yang like a ball with a curvy tail there was also a hole in the middle of the circle. it started off with a girl returning home to them or something. Thanks so much and I hope to get an answer.
openGirl falls in water? Anime
Ok so a girl falls in water, sacrificed to an ocean god or something, and her friends start looking for her? There were boats and a kid with white hair. And no it is not Bride of the water God.
Edited by GloryAndCatsopenComedy About a Guy Testing a Suit Anime
Some time ago, I remember there being an anime series on Amazon Prime where the basic premise was that a young guy got a job testing a purple Ultraman-esque suit for a toy company or something. It's since left Prime and for the life of me, I can't remember the title. Anyone have any idea what show I'm talking about?
openMan inspecing a robotic factory Anime
I saw this back in the 90s. A man goes to an automated factory, I think in a jungle somewhere. What he doesn't know is that the factory is starting to break down, and the machines won't let him leave. One scene I remember is that each night when he receives his supper, it progressively gets worse and worse and more and more inedible. Near the end his "supper" is like spark plugs and a piston covered in oil or something. I don't remember how it ended.
Any ideas?
openAnime with Long-Lived Species Anime
It was while I was on vacation back in the 2000s and I was flipping though channels on the hotel TV. It was a standard fantasy anime episode with the hero's group on some sort of quest.
One of the female characters - we'll call her "X" - had come back to her hometown to visit her loved one. Upon their arrival however, "X" discovers that her house has a new occupant and her female friend from way back when had grown elderly, the latter mistaking "X" for "X"'s granddaughter since she is unaware that "X" isn't entirely human.
It then cut away to "X" in tears and kneeling at her loved one's headstone. The man had long since died of old age, with the inscription on his headstone matching the one inside the locket he gave "X" long ago. The scene ended with "X" screaming at her friends something along the lines of "give me back the time."

openGreen jacket detective Anime
It has been killing me for about 5 years. I was watching this show in early 2000's but im not sure when was it made. It's about some kind of DETECTIVE. I believe he had a GREEN JACKET and some kind of a HAT (maybe kangool, its popular in great britany, hooligans use to wear them). I was about 5-6 years at the time and i can't remember any kind of details anymore so i understand if no one can help. Have a good day
openA late 90s or early 2000s anime I think Anime
I saw this show as a kid on ADULT SWIM, and I have been trying to find it since and I've had no luck. The scene I remember was a fight between a large muscular man with a crew cut vs. a swift moving man in a trench coat(I think) with hair that came down to about neck level. The man in the trench coat ends up disarming the larger man of his pipe he aquired earlier and shoves it through the larger mans shoulder and the wall behind him, leaving him stuck. The man in the trench coat now proceeds to commend his foe for there duel and says something along the lines of "you may have even won had my ability to not feel pain not given me an edge" or something to that effect. The screen then cuts to a girl(I think) and a robot that moves on wheels that seems to be a pet like creature... I really need to know what this show or movie is! SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!
openManga in which an elegant lady is massaged into bread Anime
I can't recall the exact context of the scene, but it involves a couple of characters watching a beautiful woman(who may have been a princess, goddess, or otherwise of high status, as she was respected/admired in-universe) receive a massage from the supposed best masseuse in the land/world. The observers are shocked when the masseuse proceeds to kneed the woman as if she was made of dough, to the point that she becomes little more than a ball with a face. The masseuse then either bakes her or steams her while she's in this form, after which he molds her back into her original human shape. Not only does the woman appear to enjoy the entire process (she has a "^_^" face while being cooked), but her skin is perfectly smooth afterward. When the observers are gawking at the results, one of them remarks that they'd like to experience it themselves, to which another of them notes that the masseuse apparantly has an absurdly long queue.
openInteresting way of dodging a truck Anime
At least I think it's anime. A character is in the middle of the road and sees a semi coming at them. Instead of running away they use their superpowers to make the truck suddenly split in half, go around him/her on both sides without slowing down, then rejoin once past as if nothing happened.
open(SOLVED)Manga where a catgirl gets flattened by weird invention? Anime
I think the scene in question happened in a school's printing room. The catgirl stood too close to one of the machines and her tail got caught in the rollers, dragging her through. She's unharmed, but stuck in a paper-thin state. She runs off to find the scientist who made the machine so that he can restore her to normal, which if memory serves is achieved with a (possibly oversized) microwave.
Edited by RadayamopenAnime? Anime
I remember this anime…or I thought it was. This boy and this girl is underground in a sewer tunnel I think. When they finally got to the surface there was a bunch of people waiting. I guess they were trying to rescue them. Then the boy felt sick and everyone is understandably worried.
openAnime about an angel Anime
This was from a very long time ago.
I was at Fry's Electronics with my mother. She was look for a DVD of a specific anime, which I don't remember.
One of the series depicted a man and an angel. The man had black and I think glasses. The angel was a woman, dressed in the stereotypical gown, with wings. She had brown hair I think.
The striking thing was that rather than float above her body, the halo was supported by rusty/bloody metal beam growing out of her head.
There where two DV Ds with these two. One I don't remember. The other was the two in a prison cell. The man look panicked while Angel just stood there serenely, smiling at him.
The appearance of that Angel stuck with me all my life.
openDID Anime scene Anime
I once saw a scene in an anime where three women had apparently been sentenced to death. All three had their hands bound in front of them in a futuristic version of stocks and the woman selected to die first was obliged to bend over so that her stocks would lock into this pillar thing, the effect being sort of like a pillory, only with her neck exposed for the headsman’s axe. Just as the executioner was raising his axe for the chop, the women’s male ally managed to intervene and save all three.
openAnime about mice who visit fairy tale worlds Anime
Basically the title. I know the general gist of it, one particular episode involves one mouse having to fight in a martial arts tournament and throw a fight because his love interest has been kidnapped and so takes a beating before she manages to free herself.

I remember a few things about the anime ; It aired on the Anime Network on demand service in about 2011-2012, it involved aviation, two of the main locations in the show was an (aviation?) academy, and an old aviation museum. It took place during WWII, I think. Another thing I remember was one scene where a character who was thought to be dead by his two siblings is sitting by his mothers grave, putting down flowers, whilst his siblings plot to kill him for inheritance. Somebody on Yahoo Answers suggested 'Pumpkin Scissors', but I vaguely remember the opening for this show, and it didn't match. Any ideas as to what it could be?
