openAnime from a scene (Solved) Anime
It was from a video clip from Instagram that I cannot find currently. The scene has a guy (the protagonist I assume) entering a toilet where he finds a bigger, more muscular friend beaten out by someone. He's then attacked by the one who beat up said friend, who I recall as a Chinese Anime Girl with unusually plump lips(as if she's costantly puckering them) who tries to kick the protagonist several times, only for him to dodge every kick almost effortlessly. After a while she's called away by someone else and, after taking note on how "strong" the protagonist was for dodging all her kicks, she kiss him before leaving.
I know is very vague, but does this ring anyone's bell?
Edited by MukademaohopenComedy starting with instructional video. Film
I saw the beginning of a movie that starts with a man following recorded instructions to put together a recent purchase. I think it was a hot tub.
And it might have been Larry the Cable Guy. Someone like that.
openMurdered cat turns into human for revenge (solved!) Literature
This would be a very old Gothic novel—I remember it having one of those great painted covers of a woman in a flowing white gown in front of a big spooky house—probably from between 1940s and 1960s. The premise is that, for whatever reason, one of the villain's particularly cruel acts is killing a cat by dropping it down a well. Then a mysterious, beautiful woman with green catlike eyes shows up and starts systematically ruining the villain's whole life and exposing every terrible thing he's ever done, with the strong implication that the woman is in fact the cat, come back for revenge. The title of the book may have been the woman's or the cat's name.

openGirl's house becomes haunted due to her keeping mum about breaking a necklace Literature
It's a children's book, in which a young girl's mother owns a necklace which she doesn't allow her daughter to try on, but which she sometimes does anyway in secret.
One day, she breaks it, but hides the broken necklace and keeps it a secret. Then, a ghost shows up and keeps repeating, "I broke your necklace!", calling itself the Ghost of Secrets. Then, a second ghost shows up, who repeats, "I hid your necklace" and then more ghosts show up, each repeating a different secret.
Eventually, the girl is pestered by these ghosts too much, so she tells the secrets (starting with "I broke your necklace") and they vanish.
openWhat Star Trek episode is this? (solved) Live Action TV
I remember on another site there was this review of this really bad movie with a killer Sasquatch-type monster. At one point we see his face, and the review mentions some Star Trek episode (he doesn't say which series, but I assume he meant the original) where some of the crew crash and get attacked by these hairy humanoids that throw rocks at them. He says we never see their faces, because, while they did make faces for them, they decided the masks looked too crappy and didn't show them, but there are some pictures still in guidebooks (and likely, online somewhere by this point), and then goes on the say that the Sasquatch mask looks even worse. Anyway, can someone tell me what episode this is?
Edited by BootlebatopenSidescrolling Elf Platformer Videogame
This computer game was a platformer where you played as an elf-like character. The player character was very small on the screen, their face being maybe one or two pixels. I do remember the elf having a running animation, as well as an elf hat, but my memory when it comes to these childhood games is always a little spotty.
Pickups included gold pixels that made a noise whenever collected, and keys that would open doors. The game started outdoors, but quickly progressed from left-to-right into a castle or fort. I remember gameplay being smooth - not today's 60 fps or anything, but not like Treasure Mountain, either.
I've made this query before on this site, and gotten many helpful suggestions, including the aforementioned Treasure Mountain (which I also played a LOT as a kid), Elfland and Hocus Pocus (in both of which the player characters are too big) and Solomon's Key (too old). The game I'm looking for would have likely been released in the 90s, as my dad's collection was primarily DOS games like Monster Bash and Commander Keen.
Edited by FortyTwoFortyopenShort film featuring a nose Film
This is from something I saw on TV back when I was less than 5 years old (which means it's an early 2000 short film (or a rerun of something older), so maybe it's something I dreamed up, but maybe it's true, who knows:
It's a short film set in a white background. It features a nose which keeps on moving forward and sniffs different things, mostly for humourous effect. At the end, I do believe he sniffs tobacco (or cocaine) and dies.
One last thing I remember (but watch out, it could be misleading) is Woody Allen being affiliated to that short. I don't know why, I keep thinking of him when I try to remember that short film.
openMid 2000's omedy website starting with a Z Web Original
I remember there was a website with a name starting with z that had articles about various pranks and funny experiments on it. The most famous thing they did was do that whole incident in Everett, WA where they changed the traffic sign to mention aliens. I also remember they tested out various substances for enemas, went looking for the world's worst cocktail, and combined various drugs of opposite nature to see which one would win in affecting your body.
Edited by DrunkenRockLeeopenCommercial for kids' financial literacy Live Action TV
In this commercial from maybe 20 years ago, a boy is about to go off to college. Just as he is leaving, his father gives him a credit card, but with a caveat to use it wisely (or perhaps only in emergencies). In the next scene, the kid is with his buddies at a pizza place; when they realize they have no cash with them, the boy remembers his credit card and gleefully treats everyone. Cue a montage of the same kid shopping here there and everywhere, charging everything as he goes. Might have included a shot of the card zipping through a reader, an LED "Approved" flashing, and/or some behind-the-scenes mainframe computers churning up. ISTR one of the more frivolous items he bought was a scuba suit. I think there was a pop music soundtrack, though I forget the song. The music came to an abrupt stop, though, with the sound of knocking at a dorm room door. Upon opening, it's the kid's father, with an annoyed look on his face. He then quietly but swiftly displays some fanned out credit card bills. A voiceover followed with a message about teaching your kids financial literacy.
openTiny Toons Episode. Western Animation
An episode of Tiny Toon Adventures where Plucky finds himself transforming into Buster and splitting up into a bunch of mini-clones of Babs and Buster.
openTv-show about paranormal happenings Film
I'm looking for a tv-series, timeperiod maybe between 1997 and 2007. It's like a criminal and/or maybe paranormal investigation (like X-files and Twilight zone, but lighter subjects). In this particular episode a young male student etc. gets shot in a shop by a robber. He has a bullet hole in his shirt, front and back, but he is uninjured. The police investigate the matter and in a csi-style investigation they conclude that the victim was holding a glass bottle in front of him, which shattered from the shot and the bullet changed direction to the side. The bullet then went throuhgh the shirt, which was stretched out because it got tangled in something...anybody recognize this tv show? Thanks

open"Greenola" or "Why is everything green?" Western Animation
There was a US or Canadian Cartoon short where a city, the things in the city and the people themselves were all green. The city was called "Greenola" (not to be confused with granola).
A child asks "Why is everything green?" and all hell breaks loose.
In the end the color is changed to blue and the city is now "Bluenola".
The short film ends with a visitor asking "Why is everything so blue?"
What was this short? It aired On PBS in the 1980's.
openKids book series Literature
I'm looking for a kids book series about a girl who stops evil fairies? by making them do the opposite of what they stand for. I remember a book where one turned people into fish. One book had a guy who didn't want to work and just play. They defeated him by tricking him into fixing the seesaw. The final book has them defeat the wizard to prevent him from becoming mayor.
openA dark furry webcomic Webcomic
I remember back in 2015ish or so, I had read a dark furry webcomic.
I remember it taking place in a lab setting, and one of the characters had a very obvious stutter or lisp, which led them (him?) to being picked on by a few of the other characters, both physically and verbally.
I remember the web page and the comic being very dark as well, there were lots of greys, blacks, and muted colors used, as well as a brief warning on the "about" page that the comic was not for kids. I think there might have been an age restriction warning (13+? 15+?) too.
openDaffy Duck Episode Western Animation
Daffy Duck encounters a female duck who is very seductive and wears lipstick. They are in her mansion. He is at the top of some stairs and when he sees her he is so smitten that he melts into a puddle which then pours down the stairs, taking the shape of the stairs as he does so. I thought this was 'The Super Snooper' as the seductive lipstick wearing duck is in this and they are in her mansion, but he never melts down the stairs in this. Anyone recognise this scene?
openlate 90's or 2000's detective crime drama Live Action TV
The show was UK and from around the early 200’s / late 90’s – I think it was one of the last episodes in a series and the main “cop” was not in it – (probably why I can’t remember the show) the plot of this episode was a documentary team turn up to “investigate” an old case – a stabbing in a caravan. The caravan has remained empty over the years. The documentary team are shadowed by a lawyer or cop who is dragged back into the investigation. The case is - a couple were living in the caravan on the caravan park. They had been on a night out and when they returned to the caravan one was “accidentally” stabbed in the back. The accused man was sent to prison and insists on his innocence– the accused insists he never knew of the stab wound. Both men went to bed – one pours the other a last brandy as a night cap - and then they went to sleep. In the morning one man wakes to find the body lying in bed in a pool of blood. As the episode unfolds the true story of that night is told in flashbacks. As the episode progresses further there’s a growing sense that the investigation wasn’t thorough and that the man imprisoned may be telling the truth –up till the end those investigating and re-enacting for the documentary are split with some convinced that there is enough doubt and others not.
AS I recall shown if flash backs are different moments from the couple’s night out – one is flirting with everyone and the other seems jealous. The woman that ran the pub or club is not as forthcoming as you’d expect. And one of the two main characters his young daughter was present in the caravan and woke up during an argument, that’s when the fatal wound occurred. The injured man shrugs off the injury and says it’s nothing as a way to comfort the girl.
Any ideas what series this was from?
Edited by mymwopenWeird hospital movie Film
Back in September 2021, I watched a movie where the main character was a woman in a hospital. There were also 3 or 4 other patients in the hospital who were important to the plot as well.
One scene I remember is one where the woman's legs get cut off by a chainsaw by the doctor, then stitched back. Another scene had the woman trying to get a phone call, but the wire was cut. Another scene was where the woman found a door that appeared to lead to the outside, but was actually a brick wall.
The antagonist was an evil doctor who was behind the operations. He once said in the film that the patients never died and that they would live forever.
The woman's backstory involved her killing her boyfriend in a manner that would make the police think that it was a suicide.
The film kept flashing between scenes in the past and scenes in the hospital.
At the end of the film, the woman woke up in a real hospital in real life. The nurse said she was unconscious for about five seconds, then the woman remarks "it felt much longer than that."
The film was probably an independent production produced between 2010–2021. I don't know a lot of tropes off the top of my head so if you don't know the actual work, you might still be able to give me some tropes that lead me to this movie. I watched the film on Prime Video, as that is where most indie films are dumped.
The reason I remembered this movie after a few months of forgetting about it is because I was reading a "bfdi dream" fanfic that had an evil scientist (the doctor) and the characters were being experimented on, similar to this film.

Not sure if this was movie or series. One of the plots was about father, who decided/was forced to sell body parts (already lost eye), instead of getting money for terminally ill daughter's medical treatment. He was about to lose heart, but fortunately the detective started an investigation. Also, the actors was probably Asian, but it wasn't Asian movie/series.

Okay here’s an oddball. I vividly remember this Disney special that was a montage of the classic films. It must have been from like the 1970s because I don’t remember any 2000s or 90s films in it. I remember that there was section of villains laughing and roaring and for some reason the Bear from that Little Hiawatha short was among them (don’t know why I remember him being in there specifically, I think I just found his inclusion strange). Surely someone knows what the montage film was called.
