openEarly 90s picture book Literature
Another inquiry from my coworker. This was roughly in the early 90s. She remembers a picture book with two stories in it, one taking place around Christmas. It involved an orange cat named Tiddles, an older black and white cat, and a grey or white animal that looked like a Scottish Terrier according to her, both male, and one or both of them had taken Tiddles in or adopted him, as he was an orphan? She remembers the book cover being blue. She was in Germany at the time but the book was in English, possibly purchased on an American military base.
Cross-posting to r/tipofmytongue as well.
openMega Man fan-game with female character. Videogame
I am searching for a Mega Man fan game. This is what I remember:
- It had a playable female character. She was blonde with a ponytail and she wore an armor similar to Mega Man's but hers was red and pink.
- Mega Man might or might not have been playable (am not sure). If he was, then I remember that the playable character was kinda flirty with Mega Man.
- The female character might have been Roll but am not sure.
- The art-style was similar to that of either Classic Mega Man's 3-6 or to that of Mega Man X1-X3.
- I think it had a female Boss that was either themed on a plant or an insect.
And that's all I can remember. Also, I know for a fact that it wasn't Rokko-Chan or a game like Mega Man Rock & Roll (because Roll's armor doesn't fit my memory).
openMovie about girls Film
I don't remember any title... I remember only two scenes. One was the blonde protagonist taking her bra/top off at some beach sports and two dudes (a young white one and an older black one) reacting. We don't see her breasts. Other one was a sensual photoshoot scene with a brunette (I'm not sure but I think she was the villain?) It is from before 2011, that I'm sure
openYou're missing in the future because you time travelled there
A Facebook post posed this question, but the only work I can think of where it applies is the classic Duck Tales episode "Duck to the Future". Are there any others? (Flight of the Navigator doesn't count because that was time dilation, not time travel for the first "jump").

Edited by x-i-v-iopenCartoon from mid 2000s to early 2010s Western Animation
So I've been trying to find this cartoon for ages now, I remember seeing it when I was younger (I'm brazilian, so it would have to have aired here, so likely Jetix/Disney XD or Cartoon Network, maybe Nickelodeon but I don't think so)
I can only remember a specific episode. There were these kids in some kind of camp, and in this camp one of the villains was around. I remember him being very feminine (think your stereotypical gay character) who was the henchman of this woman. I remember the guy got bitten by a wolf in the episode, so naturally he became a werewolf, only the werewolf form was played for laughs, as it was feminine too.
openArcade racing game where all the cars have jet engines in them (reask) Videogame
I'm asking this again because nobody seems to have responded to the first time I asked this.
I remember at some point between 2015 and 2019 I was on holiday with my parents and we went to an arcade. There was this one game I played in it that I can't remember the name of for the life of me, but what I do remember about it is 1) one of the game's gimmicks was that you chose two tracks and the game strung them together seamlessly through a portal, 2) the two tracks I chose were a city and a volcano, and the car I chose was a Ford Focus RS. The city was also in the middle of collapsing, 3) at the start of the race it showed a mini cutscene of my car swerving through the debris from the collapsing buildings, and 4) all of the cars had a boost ability which, when activated, would cause some of the panels on the back of the car to fold inwards, Transformers-style, and then a giant jet engine-looking thing would protrude out of the back of the car. My long-term memory isn't too good so some of these details might not be perfect, but if anyone can get anything on this I would be very grateful.
openMovie with a boy, his dog and the boogeyman Film
I don't really have any childhood movies that freaked me out (idk why but ever since I was Young scary things are more fascinating/funny to me rather then actually scary) but to this day this one movie had a scene that creeped the hell out of me and I still occasionally think about. I don't remember much about the main movie but the scene I remember pretty well, its a Young boy I believe to be around about 10 or Smth pretty Young but not too Young, and his dog which I can't remember the exact dog but I pretty sure it was a golden retriever or a bearded collie. But anyway they were sitting on the couch and they started watching this boogeyman movie and the boogeyman was the most scary thing yet I remember it just being just a completely blacked out human, no eyes or facial features, I think it looked kinda greasy too, but yeah but anyway the boy falls asleep then dreams the boogeyman getting him and that scene in particular was scene that has scared me to this day. Other features about the movie that can kinda remember that might help was the footage was kinda grainy so I'm guessing 80s maybe for time (I'm 19 and watched it when I was like five, I'm pretty sure I watched it on 9go an Australian TV channel but it may have being a disc cause my mum had a tons of old dvds, but yeah I hope the info I provided helps cause I only watched this movie once I'm certain cause I haven't seen anything like it since and finding the movie means one day when I have children of my own, I can give them the same trauma I had from the movie
openTerraria Mod Boss: Giant Mechanical Worm Videogame
There's this one Terraria mod boss theme that I can remember very clearly, but I don't know where it was from. Before anyone says anything, it was not a Calamity track. It was a metal tune that lasted 9 minutes after looping to play twice, and the boss was a giant mechanical worm with a dark brown-ish body and red orbs.
What was this?
openA crayon superhero tryout commercial
This just came into my mind. I remember a commercial I watched on TV a really long time ago but can't what they were selling.
What I know is the commercial was a principal of a superhero school interviewing kids to potentially enroll. The candidates had very lame powers like doing karate with her pigtails and another teleporting just one inch. The last boy however pulls out an art product, maybe crayons, from his backpack and impresses the principal even though he's covered in doodles.
For the life of me, I wish to know what was the name or video of that commercial.
openMovie with a scene where animals raid a child's birthday
This was a movie I saw on YTV when I was little. It was live-action. There was a scene at one point where a bunch of animals (bears, elephants, etc) came in through the trees and began wrecking some sort of party. At one point, they were crawling through one of those giant crawl tunnels, and a few scenes later it showed the animals still in the tunnel as they were making their way back into the forest. What movie was this? At first I thought it was one of the Grown Ups movies, then I thought it was Zookeeper with Kevin James, but I watched all three of them and I concluded it was neither of them. Can someone help me please? Thank you.

openSpecific Sentai series
There's a specific trope entry I remembered recently that I'd like to find again. I'm pretty sure it's from a Super Sentai series (maybe from Power Rangers, or possibly another tokusatsu, but I'm pretty sure it's a Sentai), but I can't recall which one.
The entry describes how the Big Bad goes away for most of an episode (or maybe goes dormant for a time). While they're gone, one of their henchmen does some thinking and realizes that the regular strategy — sending one monster at a time — hasn't worked. They decide to use a new strategy, sending multiple monster-of-the-days at a time in such a way that the heroes are badly overwhelmed and on the verge of defeat. Then the lead villain returns, rebukes their henchman for doing this, and goes back to the standard and ineffective strategy of sending only one monster at a time... which, naturally, continues to be ineffective.
Does anyone remember what series this was from?
Until next time...

openYA novel (I think) about a thief hired in Roman(ish) Times Literature
The other story that popped into my head recently.
Read it sometime when I was a kid/younger teen so would have been published mid 00s at the latest.
A novel that involved a thief, or someone recruited into being a thief, in either a more historical roman era setting or a more mundane fantasy setting that was similar.
I am pretty sure the protagonist was initially taken prisoner by another character, the ringleader type, in order to use him to steal the whatever-it-was. May have been a scene involving the protagonist trying to do something/escape while his hands were tied.
I recall there were one or two others, possibly soldiers or otherwise more experienced tyoes that made up the group, and I recall they had to travel, with some description of the roman style road.
A particular scene and line come to mind about building a fire, where one of the soldier/tougher characters says something to the effect of "build your fire a house and it will live in it, build it a funeral mound and it will die"
Don't recall the precise wording, just juxtaposition of different ways of stacking wood.
openNovel: Cyberpunk Virtual Reality Game where people go into comas Literature
I vaguely remember reading a cyberpunk type book as a kid that involved VR games that caused people to die or go into a coma, the protagonists were young, possibly siblings, and were trying to figure out why while on the run.
For whatever reason two particular bits stick in my mind: a detective getting out of a car in acid rain, and the protagonists inside a vr game grabbing dirt and a bug crawling out, with a comment on the level of detail put into the game world.
Edited by Corsacopen70s or 80s TV show: flying hubcap mistaken for UFO Live Action TV
IIRC, I saw an episode of a late 70s/early 80s primetime TV series (e.g. C Hi Ps or similar) where a car accident happens near a steep hillside. A nearby witness sees a silver disc flying through the air at the same time as the accident, and tries to convince authorities that this UFO/flying saucer is related to the accident. When examining the accident location, it was discovered that this mysterious object was the car's hubcap and not a UFO.
In trying to identify this show, I'd guess it was C Hi PS, but I cannot figure out which episode. If it's another show entirely (or even a primetime movie?) I have no idea.
openBad monkey movie Film
I found myself on a page for a bad CGI Movie in which the main character is a monkey who was born really small and is more evolved than the others. He is the only one who wears pants because his voice actor is a comedian who puts his hands in his pants.
The comedy relief is a proboscis monkey.

Hey everyone! I’ve been trying for years to figure out if a scene I saw as a kid was real or just a fever dream. I hope someone here can help me identify it.
What I remember:
I watched this episode sometime between 2016 and 2018, but I’m pretty sure the cartoon itself was much older, probably from the early/mid-2000s era (Billy and Mandy, Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, etc.).
Channel: I’m almost certain it aired on Cartoon Network, but there’s a slight chance it might have been Nickelodeon.
The episode had an extremely dark and disturbing tone. The most vivid memory I have is of a female character (probably human) being thrown into a large bonfire by a group of other characters.
It happened at night, and the fire had huge flames. I distinctly remember her screams — they were loud, desperate, and very unsettling.
After she was burned, the other characters acted like it was normal — they seemed to be celebrating or socializing, totally unbothered.
It was probably on Adult Swim, because I used to stay up late watching cartoons.
The visual style was odd — it had low saturation, almost grayish tones. It stood out from typical colorful cartoons.
Art style: I can’t recall exactly, but it felt like something in between the smoother style of Teen Titans (2003) and more exaggerated cartoony animation.
I vaguely recall the girl begging or pleading before being thrown in, but nobody helped her.
What it wasn’t:
I’ve already checked and it’s definitely not: Billy and Mandy, Happy Tree Friends, Superjail!, or Courage the Cowardly Dog.
If this rings any bells, or if anyone remembers something similar, I’d really appreciate any leads — even if it turns out to be a lost episode, a banned scene, or just something obscure.
Thank you guys so much in advance!
