openweird monster show Western Animation
the two main characters were named eleanor and zeke, and zeke could see monsters for some reason. i think it took place in a middle school. me and my brother used to watch it all the time on netflix.
openA hare with a lion-like mane Western Animation
I vaguely remember some animated series (or was it a film?) about sapient rabbits living in a forest. Their supposed leader sported a lion-like mane.
openTime travel cartoon Western Animation
It's a probably American cartoon that aired in the early 00's I think. The protagonist (at least the person I think was the protagonist) wasn't really an action hero, but more of a scientist and advisor? And older than the rest of the main cast.
I only really recall some details from two episodes.
One was with some weird green icecream (the type that's on sticks) that gave people the ability to photosynthesise and slowly turned them into plants.
The other ended with one of the younger members in the cast (some high-school dr with black hair I think) dropping some guy into Vesuvius while it was exploding. That episode ended with "It's important to remember some dates!" (There was an overall Aesop about learning history in that)
Any help?
openEpisode of Disney cartoon about a car crash Western Animation
There was this episode of a Disney cartoon (pretty sure it was Disney) where one of the characters doesn't wear his seatbelt, gets in a car crash, and dies. We then see him as a ghost trying to talk to his family, but it doesn't work, and they can't see him. I remember it ending with what I think were supposed to be Psychopomp creatures of some sort getting ready to take him to the afterlife, and him crying and saying stuff like "No, please! I'll always wear my seatbelt from now on, even when I'm asleep". Fortunately, it turns out to be All Just a Dream.
openRunning gag involving "it wasn't a defeat, it was a tactical retreat!" Western Animation
It was a children's cartoon on TV. Probably not on cable, I don't think I had cable at the time. Qubo or PBS Kids is the most likely network.
What I do remember is that there's a running gag where the villain gets defeated, runs away, and insists that it was not a defeat, it was a "tactical retreat" (even though he was obviously defeated). Because of this, I thought for a long time that a "tactical retreat" wasn't a real tactic and was just a euphemism for "defeat," like how civilian casualties are called "collateral damage" and torture is called "enhanced interrogation techniques."
It could have also been several shows using this joke independently of each other, not necessarily a single show using it as a running gag.
openBagPipe Episode Western Animation
I'm thinking of a cartoon where in one episode, one of the main characters becomes interested in learning how to play bagpipes and at the end of the episode, he uses what he was able to learn to defeat his opponent in a wrestling match by playing his bagpipes. Upon his victory, he turns towards the camera and says "Thank You Scotland".
openCartoon where protagonists stop a train by shooting white, solidifying substance at the wheel Western Animation
I remember watching a cartoon on VHS pre-2006 where some semi-futuristic-looking protagonists are trying to stop a train from crashing into something (a port or some other facility). They end up stopping the train by one of them shooting a rapidly-solidifying white substance at some of the train's wheels, stopping the wheels from turning, braking the train, and stopping it. I remember one of the characters having a gun or some other techy prosthetic for an arm, who may be the one who shot the glue/substance.
I remember it being in English, and was most probably an American production. It could be a late-90s early-2000s cartoon.
Edited by bigyihsuanopenCartoon were the villain was some kind of toad person Western Animation
I remember there was this cartoon I saw in The '90s (although I got the impression it was older). I cannot for the life of me remember anything about the hero. However, I know the villain was some kind of toad person, and I think he even had "toad" in his name. I remember there was one episode in particular where, while the toad guy is defeated at the end, the narrator then says that he's covered the whole city in "toxic toad oil" or something like that, and it serves a set-up for the next episode, as the hero has to clean it up and save the city.
openWhat episode of captain planet is this Western Animation
I remember there was this episode of Captain Planet and the Planeteers where Greedly says something like "I'm the only person worth caring about. Does anyone know which one it is?
openCharacter named 'Modicum' Western Animation
This is literally the vaguest memory possible, but I remember some kind of media that had a character whose name was 'Modicum'. Not sure if it was their first name or last, and I don't remember ANYTHING ELSE about it. I selected western animation bc I think that's most likely the medium it was from, but I sincerely only remember that there was a character named Modicum and that's literally it. Could be a movie, video game, book, etc. It's been driving me crazy that I can't remember who this character is/what they're from!!
Edited by donatello-is-the-fellowopenGreen Cow-like Alien Western Animation
I have vague memories of a show I saw years ago, it was about a green cow-like alien which with a few exceptions spoke in Pokémon Speak, the setting was an interplanetary school which had a somewhat paranoid coach. There was also a purple, one-eyed alien that acted as somewhat of an antagonist. The show was for kids. Since I was unable to find it by searching in Pokémon Speak (both the examples AND the related page) I think it may not have a page, but I still want to know if someone else remembers having seen something similar at all.
EDIT: I am pretty sure the show had 3-D animation.
Edited by ASghhrv6ubopenGreen fluffy monster Western Animation
So I caught fleeting glimpse of a picture a while back, and it brought back some very vague distant memory, which has got stuck in my brain. I think it was a tv show, and all I can remember is there is a green fluffy troll/ogre/monster with a big nose and a flower sticking out the top of his head and there is a little elf girl with possibly pink or purple hair. I could be misremembering or combining multiple things.
openOld episode of Olliver's adventures about a dog eating a sentient hotdog villain Western Animation
There was a really old cartoon show named Ollivers Adventures about a kid named Olliver who would go on adventures with his apparently sentient toys(consisting of a caveman, lizard, alien and a cavewoman)and fighting villains of the weeks.
The episode I'm looking for is the one where the kid faces off against a villain who was a sentient hotdog in a business suit. The kids dog (who is also sentient) ate the villain to defeat him and it was treated as a humourous event by the narrator.(What Measure Is a Non-Human? was apparently in full effect)
Can someone please tell me the name of that episode
Edited by monkeyheroineopenDont no the title Western Animation

openAutonomous Rover Defeated with Water? Western Animation
Been trying to find an episode of something, with no luck. Had originally thought it was G.I. Joe, but it doesn't appear to be mentioned anywhere this doll can find, and can't even find it as an episode of some other cartoon. It involved a computerized space exploration vehicle that broke loose on Earth. Can't remember for sure what planet it was set to explore, but keep thinking maybe Venus? Either way, it was defeated with water, as that was the one contingency it wasn't designed for, since they were sure it wouldn't encounter that.
openLooking for a British or Australian made cartoon from the '90s with a cast of elementary kids Western Animation
I don't know if this show was made in the 1990s but that's the time I remember watching it as a kid. Memory's vague but the art style somewhat reminded me of Peanuts and I recall a few of the main characters consisting of a tall black boy wearing a red sweater, a rather sassy girl in a wheelchair wearing a purple dress, and a young, bespectacled blonde woman who was their teacher. I can barely recall most of it but I remember this one episode where one of the hyper-imaginative kids got so into the idea that he's some kind of superhero that other kids started to follow suit, and the opposing kids forming their own "anti-superhero" team by dressing up as humanoid mutant alligators. They almost get into a rough playground fight until their teacher dresses herself as an amalgamation of a superhero and a mutant alligator, calls herself their "god", and essentially gets them all to calm down by imparting a lesson about getting along and settling differences peacefully.
I don't recall their accents but it was definitely not American, sounding either British or Australian. Asking here because I tried to google it based on these few memories and had no luck so far.
Edited by 9thOutworldsManopenGirl cartoon theme song 2000s Western Animation
Girl-centric cartoon from the early 2000s and the only thing I remember seems to be a fragment of the intro theme song lyrics. To the best of my ability, I think it went something like:
"Let's a make a wish - blue, blue - make it come true! Do all the things that you do!"
Admittedly, this would be clearer if I could provide a tune, but it had a bouncy 2000s pop vibe, if that helps. The show could have had some fantasy aspect to it, I'm not sure.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
openan animated film about a talking dog Western Animation
The dog is abandoned by the boyfriend of his female owner out of spite, he finds himself on a farm with a rough collie who becomes his own girlfriend eventually. I think they have puppies? The collie's farmer owner almost shoots the dog protagonist for some reason.
openCartoon - kid taking cashews out of food Western Animation
Maybe an episode of The Simpsons (though I Googled "Simpsons cashew" and didn't get it), but I'm not entirely sure. A kid (I think a boy if I remember rightly, but again I'm not sure) is sitting on a chair with a dish of food (I don't recall what the food was) and throwing the cashews out of it while saying, "Cashew, cashew, cashew, cashew..."

I remember watching this one cartoon, all I can recall from it is a scene set at night with tall buildings with their lights mostly on, typical night scene, with a Purple background
a boy with if I remember correctly black, beady eyes, with a short round stub for a nose wearing a light blue baseball and/or hat a shirt with light blue sleeves and a yellow center, and light blue trousers with black shoes walls through an alleyway and peers behind a wall of a building, then a trail and sees a chef in a chef's hat with if I remember correctly a moustache, same stubby nose, slightly smaller beadier eyes and wearing a typical cartoon chef's costume with white apron, if i remember correctly, black buttons, a red tie, or red undershirt, white trowsers and black shoes??, is stirring a big, long, silver pot of soup if I remember correctly with a wooden spoon, a trail of visible odor hits the boy's nose, who then proceeds to use a clothespin nose plug to block out the smell, the boy then stops peering out of the corner and goes to to confront the chef and points at him the chef, who then turns backwards raises his hands up in shock, with a shocked expression on his face, and drops the pot of soup
And that's all I remember from the show, apart from the producer(s) logo(s) which I remember being a Purple, but lighter than the one in the scene I just mentioned, and a yellow, the logo was circular, it had a yellow inner circle, and a light purple area/circle surrounding it, in a lark purple background, I think it had several circular marks in the inner circle, I think, which were a even lighter Purple or grey i I remember properly, and had some text In a lighter Purple on it in a thin, I think all-caps font, I remember it resembling a tub of creme to my kid brain, I think it was from the 90's due to the art style and I think I watched it on Tiny Pop, I checked their Tv guide from around the time on Internet Archive and, Unfortunately, I couldn't find it there, I hope you people at Tvtropes can find it!!!
