openSonic Sprite Animation Web Original
I remember watching that animation when I was a teenager, the main thing that I remembered is that Tails and Amy were killed by Eggman (I think), and Sonic transformed in his super form to avenge them. Another thing that I remembered is that Knuckles was only angry at Sonic about Amy's death and didn't care about the death of Tails.
Edited by StalkerGameropenA specific Star Wars fan film series Web Original
I remember seeing a website of notable Star Wars fan films. One of them was a series of short animations(?) featuring Obi-Wan's misadventures during his tenure on Tatooine. Each episode begins with an opening crawl (with the theme performed a capella by one guy) talking about how everyone in the galaxy is having a great time... "Except for Obi-Wan Kenobi who is on Tatooine where he will spend the next however many years in self-imposed exile... Tough break, huh?" (Paraphrased)
openIntro to a (non-existent) show Web Original
So a long time ago I saw an "intro" to a show that didn't exist (well, not at the time) that was up on Youtube, and I can't remember what the video was titled. The supposed premise was about this girl that went to school where she had monsters for teachers and classmates, think My Gym Partner's a Monkey but instead of animals you have mummies, zombies, spiders etc.
What I remember in particular was that it opened with a shot of the "school bus" (really a living creature iirc) arriving at the eponymous school and there was a shot where the main character was in a seat next to a boar-girl who turned to her and smiled, and the video ended with the title and a spider dangling down and saying "Ooga Booga". The video itself wasn't very long, almost certainly between 30 to 60 seconds, and it was a song sung by a guy telling the main character about the kinds of creatures she would meet. It would be about a decade old today and I'm fairly sure it was animated in Flash or something similar (it had that vibe/style).
If someone is able to recall the name of this video I'd be grateful. I wanted to see it again and learn if anything became of the premise or the original animator/author made something else.
openVideo of a man falling off an ATV into a bush (I think) Web Original
I remember watching a short video in the early 10's of a man driving an ATV before crashing and falling into a bush with thorns or something in front of a him. Then, someone tries to rescue him by pulling him out of it while he screams in pain. I don't think it was from an ads or anything and seemed to just be a normal recording. It was recorded so that the man's front was facing to the right and the environment seemed to be somewhere in the US south with the lack of green scenery. There was no gore or anything that I remember of.
openThat Website Web Original
I recall a website in elementary school about a small orange robot (not Moby) doing things like math. The robot was a Cyclops. Can anyone help me find the site?
Edited by PokecaptorSeanopenA YouTube Video Inspired By Comments Web Original
Sometimes I remember that I saw this YouTube video, that what titled something like "I made a story based on comments under the last video", and the result was, well...
John Cena with a duck bill and bears for hands, saying "Beep beep I'm a sheep poop is cool".
I tried looking up it again recently, but can't seem to find it. Is it still up?
openA Cubic Flash Cartoon Web Original
Hello, I'm looking for an old cartoon online that... I'm fairly certain may not have a TV Tropes page, which has made finding this even more difficult.
It takes place in an isometric world where all the characters have a stout, cubic design, and the main character is very upbeat and has a catchphrase along the lines of "ultimate" something. I know that it was most prominently on Newgrounds back in the day, and it had surprisingly well done voice acting.
Any answers or leads would be much appreciated.
openSomething on Youtube about Pokemon. Web Original
Basically, all I remember from it is that there were two Shaymin- one mimicking Sonic the Hedgehog and one mimicking Shadow the Hedgehog. Or maybe not- the point is they were differently colored, but i’m not sure if that was the joke. It was dark out (very black and orangey), and the Shadow Shaymin was on a building or something, or otherwise just higher up than the Sonic one. They were having a monologue or fight of some sort, and at the end, one of the Shaymin gets mauled by a Fennekin.
Edited by CinnominopenMinecraft music video (with BajanCanadian and JeromeASF?) Web Original
This was an animated Minecraft music video uploaded (on You Tube, presumably) at some point between 2015-2019; as far as I can remember, it was about Bajan Canadian and Jerome ASF fighting the Ender Dragon, and it was either a parody of or set to the song "Long Way Down" by Robert De Long. I've tried searching for it myself, to no avail; it may have been deleted between now and then, or I'm just misremembering the details. If anyone remembers this video and has any more information about it, I'd be very glad to hear it.
open"Yoshi's Island" parody song Web Original
I'm looking for a musical web animation that parodies Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Right off the bat, this is not Brentalfloss's song
, but it's similar in that it's animated and uses the "Athletic" theme from the game as the basis for the instrumentals. It was probably uploaded not long after the Brentalfloss version.
I only really remember little details about how the animation starts, but enough to say the following; Yoshi is outside when Baby Mario is dropped on his back, much like in the game. Yoshi looks at Mario for a few seconds as the music kicks in, then he turns to the camera and starts singing about how Mario just got dropped onto his back.
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.
Edited by SparkPlugTheTroperopenOld sprite animation with Wario in the bathroom Web Original
There was a sprite animation video that I'm pretty sure I saw sometime in The 2000s. I'm almost certain it was a compilation of Mario shorts, but I know it was done with sprite animation. I just remember one short:
Several Mario characters are in line for an outhouse. The camera pans to the left to show them all. I distinctly remember that a Koopa Paratroopa from Yoshi's Island was in the line.
Once the camera reaches the outhouse, you hear some fart sounds, then Wario says "So ein mist!" (Like me, I think the creator thought he was actually saying "D'oh, I missed!") Then everyone in line looks shocked/horrified, and that's it.
Yeah, it's childish, but it's still a memory I want to unlock.
It's not Living With Wario Episode 2

openA short horror film about a boy coming back home... Web Original
...and his family isn't home, but he's not concerned because, and forgive me if I mix up some details, he either gets a text or finds a note saying that they'll be back later and I think some money to buy pizza, so for the rest of the short there's a lot of tension and teasing that the boy may not be alone and that he'll be attacked or killed at any point, I remember distinctly that the boy is walking around the house, and this may be another thing in the note or text from his family about putting the laundry in the washer or dryer because he passes by the laundry room more than once and it's always on.
The tension keeps building up, in the classical way in which we're expecting a jumpscare or anything surprising happening any moment now, but nothing like that happens, because instead the boy finds something or realizes something is wrong, and pieces things together about the message left by his parents (maybe about the handwritting? not sure...) the details of what happens later is a little fuzzy in my head, but something that always stuck to me was the final scene which is a cut to the laundry room with the washing machine still running, and it was either the red tint in the water seen inside or maybe a bloodstain, but the implication was that while he was away, his family was murdered and their remains were put inside the washer.
I remember seeing the short some years ago in Youtube, and I've been trying to find it for months without success ;-;
Edited by RoseBrideopenYoutube channel about weird/disturbing stuff Web Original
There was this Youtube channel I used to watch a fair amount but I cannot for the life of me remember the name of. The channel was mainly about weird and/or disturbing stuff. The host was a girl with wavy brown hair and a bunch of a tattoos all over her arms, also, the opening for it had a sample from that "tears in rain" monologue from Blade Runner.
Edited by BootlebatopenThis one webseries about a sentient(?) satellite Web Original
I never actually seen this show before, but I remember coming across Tumblr posts of it where some viewers fawn over this satellite character (not an actual Satellite Character, a literal satellite) like he's a Tumblr sexyman or something, and for some reason that's what's been itching at me. Can anyone help me remember the title?
openNutrition Show? Web Original
I think I was in grade 3, so 2014 or around there. This girl, and I think there was a boy too, had this little web series about health. This specific episode had the girl focusing on nutrition. Making a healthy lunch and that stuff. I think she learned to make a healthy pizza and then a dessert pizza pie. I think one of the main points in the episode was her playing basketball and warning another girl that eating chips was only good for short term energy, and that she could crash and get hurt.
openTumblr Post About Specimen Tube Trope Web Original
This was a humorous post about a sci-fi trope (I don't know if it has a name). It went something like this...
"What did you do with the unknown life form?"
"It's suspended in a vertical tube of translucent blue liquid."
"Are there bubbles in the liquid?"
"Yeah, every couple minutes a bunch of bubbles rise to the top."
"How's the lighting?"
"Well, the lab's pretty dark, but there's a bright light shining into the tube from underneath."
"Good work."

open6 Most Wanted Fighters Web Original
A Youtube video on the top 6 most wanted fighters for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The video was made before the DLC content for the game ended.
The picks included Sans from Undertale, Tracer from Overwatch, and Spyro the Dragon. They suggested that Sans would throw bones as an attack, and that Spyro should be based on his Playstation games.

Several years back, I saw a YouTube video where a text-to-speech voice was reading Internet comments that were all themed around telling you when to play a certain work of media so that a specific part will mark the start of the new year. For example, you could start playing "All Star" shortly before midnight so that the "hey now" at the beginning of the first chorus marks the start of the new year. Or, you could play the Rick and Morty episode "Meeseeks and Destroy" so that the new year starts with the line, "I JUST WANNA DIE!" One comment was slightly different: you could play a certain song (that I don't remember) and finish it just before the new year, therefore leaving the song in the old year "where it belongs".
I don't remember what the video was called or even what website the comments were from.
