I'm looking for a game I came across on itch.io in the semi-recent past. I'm not sure exactly when. Maybe a year or so ago?
The premise of the game is that you're reading through a wiki article. You can't go to other webpages, but you can look back through the article's edit history and its discussion page. Beyond that, there really isn't anything in terms of gameplay.
As for the contents of the article... I think it tells the story of a travelling priest who came across this community of worm-eaters, or something like that. Initially, the story comes across as a creepy but, if you go through the page history and discussions, you can find someone who accuses it of being bigoted nonsense.
Unfortunately, I didn't spend a lot of time with it, so my memory of a lot of the details (such as the worm-eaters) could be completely off. It's also possible that there was more to the story/game that I wasn't able to pick up on.
openProtagonist gaurds a tomb/dungeon Videogame
Several years ago, I'm gonna say within the last five years I remember seeing a trailer that announced an upcoming indie game where you play as a guardian of some kind, protecting a tomb or dungeon or something of the like, which involved stopping people from raiding the tomb, and setting up booby traps to keep people out. I remember seeing the premise and saying it was a "Voldo simulator," Voldo being a character from the Soul Edge/Calibur series. I'm pretty sure it was from a Nintendo Direct or an indie showcase, or some other place where they announced a bunch of games all at once. Unfortunately I can't recall the name, and I have no idea if the game ever actually released. Is this ringing any bells for anyone?
Edited by WillKeatonopenAPP WarioWare DIY Microgame Videogame
I was watching a video about censorship in Mario games
and the pinned comment mentioned a microgame in WarioWare: D.I.Y. that used to include a crossdressing man.
I have unlocked every single microgame in the game but I can never find this one. I have looked up microgames that didn’t make it in the international versions of the game but the only results I found were Ashley’s mochi-pounding mini game and 9-Volt referencing The Mysterious Murasame Castle.
To anyone who owns this game on their DS, do you recognize a mini game featuring a crossdressing man?
openVideo and Arcade Top 10 Videogame
In the 90s, there was a show called Video and Arcade Top 10. Among other things, it featured kids playing video games in competition. This is the show's first intro.
I can make out four games, but am having trouble identifying them. The first one I know is Ski or Die. The second looks like a fight from Base Wars, because the characters line up, but the background looks weird. A third game is about a guy on roller skates, and the fourth is some type of flight sim, but not Captain Skyhawk or Top Gun. They all seem to be for the NES. Can anyone help ID'ing them all?
openSurvival game that looked similar to Sengoku Dynasty Videogame
Possibly as far as ten years ago, I had this free survival game from Google Play that had similar look, resource-gathering and building mechanic as the game Sengoku Dynasty. But you were alone on an island with trees, rocks, and some inland ponds, there were crocodiles and possibly other animals that tried to kill you and you needed to defend yourself from with spears, axes, etc. You could make platform floors on slopes etc. Walls, floors, roofs, etc. were each made all at once anf planted in place. There might have been other meters besides health meter. There may also have been some abandoned buildings including a carage, but I could be mixing that in from somethibg else.
No one in my family remembers the title either, but it definitely existed. I thought about this game again when I saw my brother playing Sengoku Dynasty and recognized the similarties.
Edited by NukeliopenAerial dragon combat video game Videogame
Hi all! Just as the title says, I'm trying to track down a game from my childhood.
It was a PC game where you played as a dragon (or someone riding a dragon) and you flew around engaging in aerial combat with other dragons. I played this game when I was young, so I would place its release before 2003/2002. I was really bad at it so I never got past the first or second level, but I remember the setting being a mountain range. I remember I would consistently get stuck at I think the second opponent, which was an electric dragon. I vaguely remember there was a UI element that showed a circular icon of your current opponent - maybe in the bottom right?
I'm not completely positive that it was a PC-exclusive, but I'm 90% sure it's not Panzer Dragoon or Drakengard.
Thank you so much for the help!
openMultitasking game where you play small games that affect the other games Videogame
https://www.reddit.com/r/tipofmyjoystick/s/h0fuaJhsoz
I try asking there and didn’t get much answer so I’m asking here.
It was a multitask game with the minigames being simplified version of other genres
it was nothing too graphically detailed, it was different screens with CRT effects with very simple looking games, mostly black and white
I never played it, I saw a let’s play video and I can not find that video nor the game.
I look everywhere on steam and itch.oi and I can’t find it, please help
openOld Edutainment Game that Took Place in a Circus Videogame
I'm trying to remember this one computer game I used to play on Windows 7 when I was little. All I remember is that:
- It took place in a circus
- The circus served as the main menu, showing a list of all available minigames
- The "leave game" button was represented by a clown icon
- The only minigame I remember was when you control a mouse with a mouse (get it?) to navigate a maze to get cheese
- It's not Math Circus or JumpStart 3 Ring Circus. Nor is it Putt Putt Joins The Circus
Sidenote: I think the game was a sequel to another edutainment game that was animal-themed and both games (I think?) shared the same credits music.
I know this is awfully specific but I hope it's not lost media or something I made up back in the day.
Edited by SleepingStarAikunoopenEarly Toon Game Videogame
I remember playing this game a little. Not sure when, but it's way before 2005 (when I entered into my teens). The games looks like it has Toon graphics.
There are two points I remembered in this game:
- To enter a door, I have to type in a password. The door guard says it's behind a towel. After keying the right password, there sequence of many kinds of doors opening.
- I opened something that leads to many characters bursting out like a stream.
It might have been a Puzzle Adventure.

openGame about writing book to score with women Videogame
I vaguely remember this game about a man who goes to a house and sacrifices his limbs just so he can become popular with women. I also recall it had Bucket in its title.
I vaguely remember Kubz Scouts playing this game back in the day but I can't remember it.
openMega Man fan-game with female character. Videogame
I am searching for a Mega Man fan game. This is what I remember:
- It had a playable female character. She was blonde with a ponytail and she wore an armor similar to Mega Man's but hers was red and pink.
- Mega Man might or might not have been playable (am not sure). If he was, then I remember that the playable character was kinda flirty with Mega Man.
- The female character might have been Roll but am not sure.
- The art-style was similar to that of either Classic Mega Man's 3-6 or to that of Mega Man X1-X3.
- I think it had a female Boss that was either themed on a plant or an insect.
And that's all I can remember. Also, I know for a fact that it wasn't Rokko-Chan or a game like Mega Man Rock & Roll (because Roll's armor doesn't fit my memory).

Edited by x-i-v-iopenArcade racing game where all the cars have jet engines in them (reask) Videogame
I'm asking this again because nobody seems to have responded to the first time I asked this.
I remember at some point between 2015 and 2019 I was on holiday with my parents and we went to an arcade. There was this one game I played in it that I can't remember the name of for the life of me, but what I do remember about it is 1) one of the game's gimmicks was that you chose two tracks and the game strung them together seamlessly through a portal, 2) the two tracks I chose were a city and a volcano, and the car I chose was a Ford Focus RS. The city was also in the middle of collapsing, 3) at the start of the race it showed a mini cutscene of my car swerving through the debris from the collapsing buildings, and 4) all of the cars had a boost ability which, when activated, would cause some of the panels on the back of the car to fold inwards, Transformers-style, and then a giant jet engine-looking thing would protrude out of the back of the car. My long-term memory isn't too good so some of these details might not be perfect, but if anyone can get anything on this I would be very grateful.
openTerraria Mod Boss: Giant Mechanical Worm Videogame
There's this one Terraria mod boss theme that I can remember very clearly, but I don't know where it was from. Before anyone says anything, it was not a Calamity track. It was a metal tune that lasted 9 minutes after looping to play twice, and the boss was a giant mechanical worm with a dark brown-ish body and red orbs.
What was this?
openEnglish dating sim/romance visual novel about instruments turning human Videogame
Getting to the point:
- English-language
- In development around September 2017
- Either a romantic visual novel or a dating simulator
- At least six romanceable characters
- Characters were musical instruments who could turn or ended up turned into humans
- One character was a red guitar or bass who was either never shown as human or simply did not turn human
Edited by jellygelly13

I remember watching a gameplay video of a certain game. It was a sci-fi shooter game with platforming elements rendered completely in 2D graphics with a white-haired girl clad only in a bikini and open jacket (which served as some kind of armor) as a protagonist/player character, fighting against surprisingly fast zombies. Or maybe simply mutated humans but still with the peculiar feral carnivore behavior.
The game began in some kind of biological research lab, then took the fight to a ruined city. Soon the protag met up with some kind of resistance group and woved to protect a little girl in hospital gown (some test subject or patient zero - somehow the kid was tied to the infection turning people into undead).
In the finale the resistance wanted to kill the child and the protag had to fight their leader who was using a katana.
The game is at leas 10 years old. There was a wide variety of authentic-looking customizable firearms.
That's all I remember. Hope it helps.
