open90s song that appeared on CMT (SOLVED!) Music
Hi, I am searching for a Country song, artist, and music video from the late 90s. All I can recall is a bit where a man is either arguing with his daughter, or physically beating her, then a brief moment later he does the same with his wife, at both parts his young son (might been eight to ten years of age) walks in on him, and his father (and mother and older sister respectively) all look at him in a sad way as it was unfortunate for him to experience that. I do not know if the artist was John Berry, George Strait, or Collin Raye, but somewhere in that ballpark. Can anyone please help me? Thanks.
The father has short brown hair, must be in his 40s-50s, his wife around the same age, I think she had blonde hair. The daughter has light brown hair if I remember correctly, maybe a teenager, both the mother and daughter have long hair. The son has short brown hair, must be no more than ten years of age. Both moments the daughter and mother look him sadly, as does the father (he looks at him feeling that he is not an inspirational father figure). I cannot remember for sure, but I think both times he hugs his son. Again, the singer might have been Collin Raye or John Berry, perhaps someone like them. This cannot be that obscure.
No one knows this at all?!
Edited by thestormtrooperopenKids' Song About Standing Up For Your Rights Music
So some televisions have channels that play music (audio only), and they're all provided by Music Choice. One such channel was Toddler Tunes, which as you can expect, plays songs for young children. Somewhere in 2011-2013, I listened to this song on Toddler Tunes that went "I want to scream / I want to shout / I want to tell the world what I'm thinking about / Something something on my mind" It was sung by a chorus of kids and it was about standing up for your rights and stuff. It was most likely made during the 70s-90s. One other lyric I remember was a boy telling the president to get rid of guns and bombs. I don't know what this is called and I can't find it.
openVersion of What a Wonderful World Music
So something like 10 years ago, somebody posted a "Best of Claude" from Heroes compilation on Youtube with a version of What a Wonderful World playing in the background. I remember really enjoying that version of the song and recently I was trying to find it again (the video was taken down ages ago). I could have sworn Jimmy Durante was the vocalist, but searching for the song coupled with his name just yields Louis Armstrong versions. I really don't think it was Armstrong, but I suppose it could have been. However, all of the Armstrong versions are at a slow tempo, and the "Durante" version was sort of a fast, rock-type version, kind of like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRMrAQuccEo
except the vocalist definitely did have kind of a gravelly voice like Durante or Armstrong.
Anyone have any idea what version of the song I'm talking about? I really, really thought it was Jimmy Durante singing it (I believe the video even named him as the vocalist), but my searches are coming up with nothing.
Edited by SpocktorWhoopenMusic video, band played by puppets Music
There was a music video that was once featured on Beavis and Butt-Head where the band was played by puppets. Butthead became enamored with one of the members before realizing she was a puppet, then finally noticed so were the rest of the band.
openThis Is My Manatee? Music
I remember watching this video when i was younger (i think it was a dominoes video cuz i used to watch those all the time) that had this song which had the lyric "This is my manatee (i think)". It was a Europop/Bubblegum dance techno song that kinda sounded like Gummibar. I need some help here to find this song cause i want to use it for a video i'm making. Please and thank you.
openweird lo-fi noise music video? Music
i remember the band had a name that was something like XXYYXYXX, and the music was very loud.. noise punk? perhaps? you could barely understand the lyrics, and the music video was just many low quality random videos spliced together, i remember there was a clip of a teeth straightening timelapse, some old lady dancing maybe? weird stuff like that. it was very energetic and fun, and only slightly disturbing. i'd love to find it!
openRiver Dolphin Song Music
There was this song we were forced to listen to in gym class while lying down on the floor for "cooldown time" when I was younger... it mentioned a certain type of river dolphin, it was sad and slow, and I think it involved how they were extinct or endangered. It may have been Fiji or Baiji, but I think it also mentioned that they were pink and/or from the west. It had a male vocalist and I definitely felt particular "this is a song they'd play in gym class/elementary school" vibes. I have no idea what year it was from, but it felt like it could be relatively recent, from this millennium or maybe the 90s. It was most likely on a CD.
Edited by FriedBakaopenUpbeat rock song about trying and looking for the answer Music
There was this rock song I heard on the radio last year (2019). It had kind of an upbeat, fast-paced feel. It reminded me a lot of Crush 40, but I'm not sure if it was actually them. I managed to write down the following lines (which probably weren't consecutive) when I heard the song, but I still haven't been able to find it.
openYiddish song that has "feet" and "unlucky person" in lyrics Music
I'm trying to discover a song that has the Yiddish words for "unlucky person" schlemiel and "feet" in the lyrics. If I recall, the word used for feet sounds phonetically like "feetzalah", which really translates to "cute little feet".
I once found the song lyrics years ago but have not been able to since then. Also, one line sounded phonetically like: "Shane gdal vtseenee vaney glean" It was in Yiddish, so my spelling is going to be off, but I hope this helps somewhat. It has also been more than 15 years since I've come across this.
I think it is sort of a nursery rhyme to teach younger kids. My grandmother tried teaching this to me and as she sang, she would run her fingers up and down my arm or tickle me depending on the part of the song. If anyone can, please help! Thanks.
Also, the song is child friendly and was short from what I recall, though the part I was taught may only have been part of a larger song.
openLuigi's Mansion-themed Ghostbusters Parody - early 2000's Music
Back in the early 2000's when I was into Mario, my dad found a number of songs, presumably from Mario fan-sites. These included things like the theme songs to the Mario cartoons and such. One, however, was a parody of the Ghostbusters theme, based on Luigi's Mansion.
I don't remember what it said in lieu of "something strange in the neighborhood", but I do remember that instead of the "Ghostbusters!" line, it said "Luigi!" (the second "Luigi!" was shouted in a particularly obnoxious manner). During the instrumental break, a voiceover explained the plot of the game, starting with "Mario's in trouble..."
The song ended with a Boo laugh, followed by presumably Luigi himself saying "Luigi's not afraid..." or vice versa.
Anybody else know what I'm talking about? I couldn't find it on You Tube, and there's a good chance it's been lost to time, but it would be interesting to know if anyone's at all familiar with this.
open"Can you read my mind?" song Music
I heard this song while I was at lunch today. At first, I thought it was The Plimsouls' "A Million Miles Away", but it was just something that sounded similar. The only full line I can remember was "Can you read my mind?" at the start and end of the chorus.
I'm pretty sure it would fit into the Jangle Pop or Power Pop genre.

openJapanese Song - Wake Up Wake Up Music
I am looking for a cheerful upbeat Japanese song that contained the English lyrics, "Wake up, wake up," That could be anything, but anything helps It probably isn't the first result you think of And it's not a theme song I also think I heard words that sounded like holiday and Nu Nu a lot. I couldn't make out what instruments are playing, it might be electronic and have a guitar
openC'mon Song SOLVED Music
I remember this song in my head, and I remember these lyrics only. A guy says C'mon, and then what sounds like a few more say it high pitched. it went from E, to A, B. That's all I remember. The song isn’t named C’mon. It was the bridge.
It's sounds like it would be pretty popular, any help?
Edited by DookieIdiotNimrodopenSonic x Cosmo and Knuckles amv Music
I'm looking for a fan-made video from the anime Sonic X. It was about Cosmo and Knuckles and the music was "Best Friend" from toybox. I remember parts of the video, because it was one of those videos with lots of soundless clips and images appear, I bet I don't even have to explain this actually, but better safe than sorry. I can't however find the video in my web history or in my You Tube account (now's a good time to mention I viewed this video in You Tube)) or anything else. I suppose whoever uploaded the video removed it sometimes ago, or his/her whole account. And if that's the case, my only hope is that someone has it saved/downloaded. If anyone here doesn't have it but could instead direct me to some kind of Sonic X fan forum, that would be very much appreciated. I know this is a longshot so I'm really not too hopeful, but worth a try. Thanks to everyone who took their time to read this.

openKickball Sally song? Music
Not a children's song per se. Might be about a different sport. Could be a parody of a song I don't know. Uptempo. Chorus goes something like:
EDIT Nevermind, realized it was "Stickball Sally" and according to the internet it's from The Great Space Coaster.

The AV Club used to have a yearly list of "least essential" albums, and I believe this was used as an entry on one of these: The album was described as consisting of electronic music using EVP
recordings as samples. There was a embedded youtube video of one track - the music had sort of a dubstep flavor to it, the EVP seemed to be singing a simple melody (possibly aided by autotune), and there were also samples of a person prompting the spirit, asking it what the song should be about. This was probably around the 2000's, and I think I remember the article also saying something about this being a "vanity project" by a reality tv star, possibly someone from a "documentary style" supernatural show like Ghost Hunters and the like, explaining the focus on EVP.
