openClip source from a Caddicarus episode Live Action TV
In a Caddicarus video titled "The Exhausting World of Making a Caddicarus Video
", at 31:16 he plays a clip of a father taking down stuff in his son's room, insisting he has to grow up. Where does this clip come from? Based on the production design it looks like a '90s or early 2000s american television show (hence why this is listed under Live Action TV), but I can't identify any specific show.
openBubble magic and music video old-school (80s-90s) VHS program, singers looked Hawaiian Live Action TV
This was back in about the 90s or so, when public libraries in Canada had VHS rentals, and this one program/song really stuck with me and I can't find it anywhere. The show itself went back and forth between a guy doing really neat bubble magic tricks, like attaching two big bubbles together and making a ring of tiny ones at the join then making them spin, and music videos from two singers that looked like they are a couple. The guy singer had long black hair and looked Hawaiian or Southeast Asian, the lady also had long dark hair and looked more Latino but could also be Hawaiian.
They had several songs and duets together, one in front of crashing ocean waves against rocks, another was a wedding-like scene, and another which I remember most clearly was the guy barefoot wearing white in a black room studded with little lights like stars, very simple setup, and singing a 80-90s-like ballad about someone being their shining/shooting star, doing airplane motions now and then, one move had him imitating a beating heart over his chest during the pre-chorus, etc; typical 90s edutainment cheese. The only lyrics I remember are the chorus, which are something along the lines of "You are my shining start, no matter where you are, you shine your light upon me", which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to search as so many other songs have those or similar lyrics. Did anyone else see this/remember this, and know what this show was called or the singers' names at all?

I need to know the context for this.
openLive-action Disney Channel special or movie Live Action TV
Now this one I may or may not have dreamed, because it was late at night, I was a kid, and I was tired, but I remember seeing bits and pieces of this on Disney Channel sometime in the late 90s.
It may have taken place at a camp, possibly an all-girls summer camp or something, I'm not sure, but there were only two scenes that I actually saw on the TV screen.
First of which were all of these kids (again, I remember it being all girls) screaming and freaking out, because I think their tents or something had been destroyed while they were still inside, and there may have been a pick-up truck that sped off into the night (so maybe something was afoot and whoever was in the truck was making a get-away or something). While the counselors came over to console the frightened kids, there was one girl in particular the others were lashing out - I don't know if she actually had something to do with the mishap, or they just believed that she did, I just remember she was crying while the others basically just gave her a verbal tongue-lashing... even as the scene was drawing to a close and the others started to walk away, one taller girl just had to pause, turn to her, and say something to the effect of, "You ruined everything!" while the girl just stood there crying her eyes out.
The only other scene I remember (because I had stepped into the bathroom at this point to brush my teeth before bed) was that same girl was now in a really big and plush-looking bed that seemed to overlook either Disney World or Disneyland, while other girls were dancing in circles around her bed and singing "Hip Hip Pooh-Ray" to her, and as the others broke away, one of them handed the girl a Winnie the Pooh plushie to sleep with.
open80s TV with U2 song Live Action TV
I remember a tv show in the late 80s-maybe early 90s on US major network TV… I think the main subjects were high school aged. It was a drama… this episode a group of teens (?) we’re driving around trying to find a friend who had ran away, I think! While they were looking U2 was playing “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” … I remember even at a young age being very moved by the scene. Ideas? Thx!
openSexy British sci-fi series? Live Action TV
Late one night in the summer of 2008, I ended up on that "weird part of YouTube" and found a video clip from what I believe to have been from something that was in a similar vein as Series/Torchwood (but I don't believe it was actually Torchwood) for three reasons. A. It was very sexually charged. B. It seemed that something otherworldly/extraterrestrial was going on. And C. The characters spoke with British accents.
Anyway, here's what happened that I can recall: a couple were in a bedroom where they were recording their escapades, and all the while, I believe they were being watched by someone... or something through a hole in their wall: all we see through the hole on the other side is an eyeball in a green-lit room, and more the couple get into their love-making, the more we see the eyeball widening and jittering (I think it was implied whoever or whatever was spying on them was having A Date with Rosie Palms). And just as the couple are about to climax, a couple of nerds barge into the room, presumably to inform them of something important, only for them to apologize for their interruption in a rather cheeky/naughty manner.
And no, it's not Friday the 13th (2009), even though there is a similar scene in that movie, it clearly was not Jason Voorhees watching the couple through a cabin window.
Edited by greaterthan2lessthan24openTV show with an animated scene about Albert Hoffman discovering LSD. Live Action TV
It was on the Science Channel or History Channel, and the whole show wasn't animated, which is why I categorized it the way I did.
The animation looked like early CGI, kind of the Money for Nothing music video, only less cartoony.
I remember he was ride a bike and basically going to hell as recent of testing the drug.
openDad, baby, computer, model Commercial Live Action TV
I am trying to recall a commercial from some years ago. I don't remeber the product, just the premise. A baby is upset late at night. The father takes the baby to the computer where he pulls up photos of a sexy woman model, which both of them enjoy. Then sometime later the front door opens and in walks the model. She is the guy's wife and mother of the baby.
openEarl grey tea commercial Live Action TV
A You Tube commercial I used to see all the time, for a tea company, in which this dude was dressed as like an 18th century aristocrat called "Lord Earl Grey" and gets punched out by a regular looking dude. The regular dude then says something about how people who feel intimidated by fancy tea companies should buy from this company instead.
openEarly 90s Disney or Nickelodeon show Live Action TV
I don't know why this is suddenly coming back into my mind, but I recall it being a live action show from the early 90s, it was either Disney Channel or Nick (since Cartoon Network didn't do live action yet), and I recall it was a group of teens who hung out with some kind of robot who could have very well been an early Teletubby before Teletubbies were even a thing. The robot had a TV set for a body, and I believe a VHS tape for a head (with the spools for his eyes, and the actual tape ribbons for his hair) - I seem to recall he also spoke like a Surfer Dude.
Edited by greaterthan2lessthan24openWhat's the show where there was a family who had a conflict with elderly Live Action TV
I don't exactly remember and don't know how to describe it but as you seen the video the major factors are:
-some teenage girl who often becomes a Butt-Monkey -her younger brother a deliquent -a friend with a cowboy hat who has some shapeshi(f)ting abilities -a mother who doesn't approve her daugther behavior -and a house maiden (grandma maybe not sure), who usually plays the antagonist role in the story
This video is the only source i could find from my memory. I can't find it on this site either, was looking through some tropes and got nothing.

openTake off pants Live Action TV
TV series in which a woman knocks on the door of a man dressed only in briefs, and before he opens it she takes off her pants.
openPsychology professor guy meets cute with woman, his neighbors all get involved Live Action TV
It's a one season show, short even. The professor guy either meets or sees the woman and tries to track her down. Meanwhile she is a caterer, I think, also involved with the university, and they keep missing each other. His neighbors are always in his apartment, causing a ruckus and giving advice. One of them is pregnant through the course of the show. They finally get together last episode I think. It was supercute and funny, but I can't remember the name. I do remember that the producers were two first time producers, because they loved the script and wanted to make the show. Maybe from around 10,15 years ago. (I think it also had different names in different countries.) would appreciate any clues/actual name, thank you!
Edited by lonhexopenall i remember is 1 minor character Live Action TV
This was an American Netflix (I think?) show, and all I remember is a Japanese actress as a minor character who guarded an old family home and carried around a shotgun. She had been guarding the house for like 10 or 100 years? Supernatural vibes, sort of Umbrella Academy-Sense 8-Dirk Gently kind of vibe? I remember the actress being SO pretty, and there's a scene where she kisses one of the main characters on the back of a moving train and then pushes him off onto the tracks, I think to save his life in some way. I remember the show being modern, but she wore like 20th century clothing (long skirt and blouse thing). The show was fairly recent I think, within the last 5 years.
openPhoto shoot from sitcom. Live Action TV

openStop-Motion/Puppet Piano Telling Jokes, possibly British Live Action TV
I'm not sure if this is from a movie, TV show, or something else, but I'm having trouble tracking down the source of a clip I found on Twitter.
The clip was of a stop-motion piano that looked like this:

It talked (by flapping its "keyboard lid" up and down), and the man who voiced it was... not very intelligible.
It opened its "comedy show" (to offscreen, canned, applause) by saying "Ladies and gentlemen... my impression of [unintelligible]". The unintelligible name, by the way, sounded like "Glen Kegall" but I looked up that name (and a few variants) and didn't get anything. The announcement was followed by a laugh track.
It then said "Him at a [unintelligible]" and did what can only be described as a "leg dab", which the canned laughter thought was really funny.

Then it said, possibly, "Him and a girl" and did the same thing, with the laugh track again finding it hilarious.
And then, it Non Sequitere'd to "And leave the rest. to. me." (with each period representing a "leg dab"). The "audience" thought this was uproarious. Then they clapped, and then the clip ended.
For those who think they might be able to actually figure out what the piano is saying, here's the Twitter post
. Note that the reference to Oscar's Orchestra was just done as a joke- this is not that cartoon.
openthai tv drama with creepy lady and old house Live Action TV
saw this on my grandparents' tv a couple years ago.
some thai tv drama thing, probably on channel 3 or channel 7. might’ve been a horror/mystery show. took place in some old house ( that the main character might’ve inherited or something? ), might’ve also been a period drama or have some historical element to it?
there was a scene where the main character was sneaking through the hallway at night and he accidentally dropped a vial or bottle of some sort. but when he went to get it, he found that someone else was there. there was this lady with short, somewhat wavy hair and wide eyes with dark circles underneath, like she hadn't been sleeping for like 23897648219 years. she might’ve been wearing sort of old-timey clothes ( not too old-timey, i say something like you’d see during the reign of king rama v ). she stared at him as she held the vial and started reciting the old lullaby(?), จันทร์เอ๋ยจันทร์เจ้า.
i remember seeing a later episode where the creepy lady actually teamed up with the main character for some reason. don’t remember much details, but they were sat together and eavesdropping on someone else who was in the house with them.
Edited by noodlesnookopen2000's Disney or Nickelodeon Show Live Action TV
I remember this was a live action show, akin to Zoey 101. The main character, a girl, does something bad, and this breaks "The Girl Code". She later has a dream where her she sees her brain as one big file room, and has to resolve the bad thing she did. The episode ends with her understanding what "The Girl Code" is. Any help would be appreciated.

The commercial was a beautiful woman walking down the street. Any time she passes by a guy we see him suddenly turn into a splash or puddle of water.
One shot showed a close-up of two men sweating as she walks by, right before they explode into water. The woman seems unphased, even proud of this.
May have been an ad for clothing or makeup.
