openBritish Comedy Television Show Featuring an Awkward Romantic Arc Live Action TV
I can recall a tv show, specifically one made in the United Kingdom (or possibly any other country in the Commonwealth of nations) judging by the accent of the characters/actors, which had an episode which features a woman (roughly in her mid to late forties), her son (in his early twenties), and the friend to the prior (she was maybe slightly younger the prior woman). The circumstances, as I can remember to the best of my ability, is that the guy split with his girlfriend and the friend of his mother had also been in a relationship rut. The guy and the friend of his mother have a one-night stand and then she takes a picture of their feet in the bed and unloads it to a social media site.
The next day the mother is surprised to learn that her friend and her son had a moment of intimacy.
The show in question I believe was made in sometime either the late 2000s or in the early to mid 2010s.
openTwo Episodes from a 1990s American Comedy/Drama set in High Schoo or College Live Action TV
I vaguely remember parts of two episodes that I think belong to the same show. I think I watched it in the UK in the 1990s so it is probably a 1990s show. I think it was set in college but it could have been set in high school. I don't remember if it was a comedy or more a drama. My first thought was Saved by the Bell the College years, but I haven't been able to find an episode in the list of episodes that seems to match.
In first episode I remember that there is a girl who is in the cheer team or trying out. There is a change to the cheer routines, but the girl doesn't go to the practice so doesn't learn it, and she ends up going the wrong way in part of the routine (going left instead of right or vice versa I think). She doesn't get to be part of the team, and complains that she is better than the other girls, but learns the lesson that everyone on the team has to work together, or something like that.
The other episode (possibly a storyline in the same episode) involves one boy (I think the jock, or the popular guy) who wants a second boy (a nerd I think) to do an essay for him or otherwise let him cheat off him. The jock pressures him to do it, and I vaguely remember a scene where there is repeated whispering and/or notes on lockers, etc (perhaps a montage) along the lines of "just do the essay", or something like that. I can't remember the actual line. It continues until the nerd gets changed for sports, and someone steals his clothes leaving a tutu that he has to wear to get out of the changing room. I then remember a similar scene in reverse later on when the jock learns that it is important to do the work, and the whispering is along the lines of "just do the essay" or similar directed at the jock.
It's these particular episodes/storylines I'm looking for. I'm not sure if it's a show I watched a lot of or not.
openHistorical Interview Show Live Action TV
Went through existing history show questions, but did not see this: Mid 90s-ish show or aired in US around then, could have been History Channel/A&E or similar. Contemporary adult guy in a leather jacket with dark hair (I think) interviewing historical figures in their own timelines but with his modern equipment (or at least he’s aware there is a viewing audience?). One episode may have involved interviewing King John while he’s trying to keep Richard I from returning to England? Believe interviewer may have thrown to a second reporter with Richard I or back to a tv newsroom? Thinking it was: in a family viewing time slot/not a little kids show/Canadian production/limited run. Thank you in advance and in your own timeline!
open70s or 80s TV show: flying hubcap mistaken for UFO Live Action TV
IIRC, I saw an episode of a late 70s/early 80s primetime TV series (e.g. C Hi Ps or similar) where a car accident happens near a steep hillside. A nearby witness sees a silver disc flying through the air at the same time as the accident, and tries to convince authorities that this UFO/flying saucer is related to the accident. When examining the accident location, it was discovered that this mysterious object was the car's hubcap and not a UFO.
In trying to identify this show, I'd guess it was C Hi PS, but I cannot figure out which episode. If it's another show entirely (or even a primetime movie?) I have no idea.
openReality show Live Action TV
I swear I saw this on TV in the 2000s or early 2010s. American show, but I watched it in New Zealand. A reality series where the contestants were under the impression that they were in some kind of competition- I think modeling- but were secretly being tested on who had the best personality? Like, they would set up scenarios to test their moral character??? I did watch this when I was very young, so my memories are suspect.
-In one episode, they weren't permitted to use mirrors, so they used other reflective surfaces as substitutes. One guy remarked on the other contestants looking into 'no-man's land' (<-his specific phrasing) using black plastic plates, while he had cleverly figured out how to use part of a camera.
-For one of the tests, they had an actor pretend to have a bicycle accident in front of them while they were going somewhere. A female contestant, who I remember having long dark hair, was the only one (or one of the only ones) who stopped to help him.
-I believe said female contestant ended up winning when they revealed the real premise.
-There was a gimmick where they had to pick one thing they couldn't live without to bring somewhere. One of them chose to bring his 'man purse' and tried to haggle his way into counting the objects inside the purse as one object. He then pointed out that another contestant had a pencil case with multiple pencils in it.
openEpisode of show where person dates a person because they like that petson's parents Live Action TV
I think it was an episode of a show, probably a sitcom, but I remember seeing something where a character dated someone just because they really liked that person's parents.
openman stuck in bivy tent Live Action TV
I think it was a TV show. a guy gets into a bivvy (those tents that are very small and low to the ground, only room to sleep) head first and gets stuck. starts to get claustrophobic and claws at the tent. eventually stands with it still over his head. that's all I can remember 😭
opendark secrets Live Action TV
it was on netflix from 2013, about conspiracy theories and supernatural horror, narrated by a man only known as "the teller".
openCommercial from the 2000s? Live Action TV
I’m looking for a commercial I remember seeing the early 2000s. It starts with a woman buying coffee and a muffin and the cashier tells her it costs “$43.50, please!” and it cut to someone wanting to get their shoes shined and it cost $20 per shoe I think. I’m not sure if this was a credit card commercial or something about taxes but those are what I remember seeing and I can’t find it anywhere!
openPBS kid human spokemen Live Action TV
"I'm pretty sure this was a PBS Kids commercial, but every once in a while, a real-life human would pop up and say, 'Hey kids!' Then, he would talk about things like being healthy and similar topics. He was Caucasian, had brown hair, usually wore a purple shirt, and had glasses. Sometimes, he would wear a cap. I think his commercial aired after Word Girl, Fetch!, Cyberchase, and Martha Speaks—at least, that's when I remember seeing him the most. I also recall seeing him during that PBS Kids jump rope event, Jump Rope for Heart or something like that."
openHumiliation Conga Live Action TV
Humiliation Conga
A movie or series in which a boy throws girls into a pool, and then they grab him by the arms and legs and throw him into the pool and he loses his swimming trunks.
Edited by moviefinderopenA show that ended with the villains escaping to a snowy forest and getting killed by wolves Live Action TV
I don't remember much about the plot of the show (or maybe it was a movie?) but its genre was either action or mystery. At the end of the season of the show (or the end of the movie if it was a movie), it was revealed that two characters, a man and a woman, had been the antagonists of the work the entire time. To avoid being killed or arrested, they escaped to a house in a snowy forest somewhere, but they were found by the military (or FBI agents?). The woman was shot through a window, and the man ran out of the house and left her to die. Later, the man was shown frozen solid in another snowy area, surrounded by wolves. Just as the wolves jumped at him, there was a cut to another scene.
I watched this in 2023 or earlier, so I'm pretty sure it was made in the 20s (or the very late 10s at the latest), but I could be wrong. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've been trying to remember for the last month but I just can't 😭
openPrison scene where new inmate demanded to beat up disturbed cellmate at night. Live Action TV
I'm not sure if I remember this from a TV show or a movie, but I remember a scene with the protagonist's first night in prison and his mentally disturbed cellmate starts making loud noises that cause the rest of the cell block to demand he hit him to get him to shut up, I remember for certain one of them yelling "He does this every [blank] night!"
openTrying to ID a mystery tv series Live Action TV
The show was a mystery/crime series. It was about a couple that were making a podcast - the husband was in a secluded town investigating a murder (or murders?) for the podcast. His wife was back staying at her mothers house who had passed away. She finds a secret room in the mothers house. Her mother had mental health issues (maybe bipolar?).
openCommercial that aiired before Oscars 2021. Live Action TV
It looked like it was a live action commercial for a game, but then it was revealed to be a game played by a girl who's parent jyst turned off thw wifi and tolkd here to go to bed.
openPSA Live Action TV
I’m looking for what was probably a Public Service Announcement. It is addressing the issue of childhood bullying being ignored by teachers, by changing the setting to adults in an office break room. Would the supervisor handle this situation the same way a teacher would?
Can’t remember names. Alex, Bob, and Charlie are ganging up on David with verbal taunts. You know, the standard making fun of his name, his hair, his clothes, etc., while crowding in closer and closer on his personal space. Won’t let him pour himself a cup of coffee in peace. After he gets it poured, Alex then “oopsie” bumps the cup, and David ends up with coffee all over his shirt.
They continue escalating until they finally succeed in knocking David to the floor. That’s when the supervisor walks in. He tells them sternly that break is over, get back to work. Alex, Bob, and Charlie all leave. David is struggling to stand up. Supervisor turns to him and says, “You too, David.” Ignoring the fact that David is covered in coffee and is on the floor, for crying out loud.
Has anyone else seen it?

openTop ten (?) disasters Live Action TV
This was a show I remember seeing in the early 2000s or late 90s, probably on the Discovery Channel. It counted down a number - likely ten - of non-natural disasters. I know it included Bhopal and the Sampoong Department Store (so it had to have been made later than 1995), something where two airplanes collided (probably Tenerife) and at least one bridge collapse. Chernobyl was likely in there too, though I don't remember it specifically.
openWhat show is this from? Live Action TV
I was alphabetizing the GetAStupidAnswer.Live Action TV page when I came across this:
As you can see, the question is Pot Holed to a YouTube video. I watched the video, but there's nothing on it that tells what show it's from. Any ideas?

I swear that I remember a specific blooper from the Eddie Murphy Haunted Mansion movie where Nathaniel Parker was standing on the stairs trying to recite a line but messing up and saying something about cheeseburgers? Like ‘bring me a cheeseburger’ or something
