openCommercials. Live Action TV
Two commercials. One I read about on here, I don't remember where, but it isn't there anymore. It was a green ketchup commercial about a man eating it and turning into The Grinch. The second one was on Suspiciously Similar Song, about a commercial with one to "What A Feeling." I think it was Pepsi. Edit: Second one was Apple, not Pepsi.
Edited by sassyelliott2403openUnknown TV series Live Action TV
A scene in which a blonde woman dressed in black knocks on the door of a man who doesn't want to let her in because he's only wearing his tight whites. So, to make him feel more comfortable, she decides to take off her pants, and he opens the door.
openCrime show from Singapore Live Action TV
So there's this fictional police show (Chinese with English subtitles) that I barely remember watching before I moved from Singapore. There were two plot points that I'm familiar with but I'm uncertain if they were from the same show:
- A wanted suspect is shot on a beach by the real serial killer but survives. Said killer, who was one of the police officers working with the protagonists, is arrested after following his scapegoat to the hospital.
- A man dressed as a clown had been kidnapping boys and putting them in girl clothes. He later tries to take the blame when a friend's son got killed but the mother later confesses to strangling the kid during a mental episode.
openUnknown tv show Live Action TV
An unknown TV series in which a blonde woman dressed in black knocks on a door, and a man refuses to open it. He says he's only wearing his tight whites, so she takes off her pants to convince him to open the door.
openComedy skit about a cowboy dueling himself Live Action TV
Was reminded of a commercial or comedy sketch or something that was like. a cowboy standoff between a guy in a white cowboy outfit and a guy in a black cowboy outfit. each character is only shown in profile, so there’s a twist that those are actually the two sides of the same outfit, worn by the same person. He “duels” by switching from one side to the other like in Geri's Game. I remember that it ends with the two characters making up and one of them says "I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship". It was definitely live action but I don’t remember the exact medium.
openRandom series. Live Action TV
I dont even remember the character names, so I will go with Alice and Bob.
So Alice and Bob are aparently friends, but they happen to be working together. And, to avoid being direct, Alice starts talking about "Work Bob" and saying that he is an asshole that insulted her job. Then Bob talks about "this freelancer" that apparently did a bad job and couldn't take constructive criticism.
And there was a B-plot about "Charlie and Donna", where Charlie says he is feeling bad for not being able to have a baby and feels it's his fault. And Donna tries to cheer him up by saying that of all the bad things in their marriage, this is not his fault.
openThe Outbreak Live Action TV
An "Arrow" fanfic about Felicity taking the Atom suit to save Oliver, but with disastrous consequences
openLooking for a show I used to watch as a kid Live Action TV
Hii, I'm looking for this show I used to watch when I was younger. I don't remember what this show was mainly about, but I do remember some of what happened in one of the episodes. I also remember that the MC had a brother (I think he was older, and I can't remember if she had any other siblings) and I think most of the episodes revolved around her and her small group of friends. In the episode, I remember the MC's parents are leaving for a bit and they tell the MC and her brother not to do anything naughty (e.g., throw a party, run away, sneak out, etc). At night, after the parents leave, the MC and her brother leave the house against their parents wishes (they split up and do their own things). There's a main plot and and there's a sub-plot. The sub-plot is the plot I remember the most vividly.
Sub-Plot = The MC's brother has a crush on this girl, but there's this other guy (much cooler than him) who also a crush on her and he feels like he has to compete to get her attention. In order to impress his crush, he tries to get a tattoo, but after a second of contact, he chickens out and runs away leaving only a dot tattooed on his body (I think it was on his arm). After running away, something happens (I don't remember) that leads him to be thrown into a holding cell with the cooler guy that has a crush on his crush. In order to seem cooler than him, he shows his dot tattoo and acts all tough. Little did MC's brother know, Cooler Guy had something much cooler under his clothing. Cooler Guy revealed a large tattoo on his back (I think it was a boat), making MC's brother feel embarrassed and inferior.
Main Plot = The MC meets up with her friends in order to find something. (that's it. I barely remember what they did in this episode. I might even be remembering it wrong)
This might've been in another episode, but I remember that at the end of the episode, they were at this hangout place that they usually hang out in. As they were leaving, they ran into another group of people [entering] that looked like an alternate version of their group. They stood face to face acting confused or weirded out, and then went on with their business.
openLooking for this Japanese drama that I saw but lost Live Action TV
I just saw a clip of it on Instagram and I thought I saved it so I just forgot about it until recently I realized that I didn't end up saving it so now I need help finding it. It was about a school girl who tried to help the guy she liked because I think he was getting bullied by a teacher and this nerdy looking guy so she decided to trick the nerdy guy into tutoring her and she ended up flirting with him and distracted him from studying and he ended up failing thats all I saw in the clip and it had an ai voice explaining everything so I don't really know if what I described is accurate.
openTrying to find show from my childhood – intro showed picture of frowny face and smiley face Live Action TV
I have a vague memory from my childhood of a kids' show whose intro involved a camera shot of a frowny face and a smiley face next to each other (and I think the camera showed the frowny face first before slowly moving over to the smiley face?) And I believe this show was one where they read stories for kids to the viewers. I think one of the stories involved a hat peddler, if I remember right. This show existed in the early '90s but may have existed before then. Does this ring any bells?
Edited by albertane76openI don't know what it's called Live Action TV
It was set on another planet, I think it was a desert planet, and the story followed some kind of law enforcement to protect the colony, or some people uncovering a conspiracy? I specifically remember a prodigy hacker who helped out the main characters. He was a teenage or college-age genius, and he was kind of lazy and got high constantly instead of "living up to his potential".
openDad was an astronaut named Donor Live Action TV
I think this was live-action, from series or film. Possibly a murder mystery.
What I remember is some character was regularly dunked on by their mother for not being as good as their awesome (astronaut, scientist, etc.) father. And at some point it's revealed "in some papers I found my father's name, it's a funny name: 'Donor'.", implying the mother had actually gone to a sperm bank to acquire a DNA sample.
openMockumentary about a business couple Live Action TV
I believe it was a mockumentary about a british couple that ran a glass company, the couple and the side characters, such as their sales team, weren't portrayed as over the top at all just humourously incompetant. I remember a scene of them trying to sell glass for a french company but they weren't using the correct french words, and an episode about them displaying their resin signs at the las vegas ISA show. I believe the show was on one of the BBC channels back in the 2000's.
openAnthology show ep from the 1980s?!? Live Action TV
OK, folks - this has bugged me on and off for YEARS, and something made it bubble up in my brain again last night.
I remember an episode of an anthology show, in which (I think) a man disguises himself as his grandfather to take a last walk with his senile, frail grandmother. We only really learn what has happened when he peels off the makeup at the end.
It had an all-Black cast.
I would have watched it in the 1980s.
I always swore it was an episode of "Amazing Stories", but checking episode lists for that doesn't indicate any episode that sounds even vaguely like what I described.
openA comedy where I remember a single gag Live Action TV
There was a comedy where someone was saying the Emily Bronte line "Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same" but they were pronouncing "our souls" as "arseholes." This lead to a back-and-forth with someone who was repeatedly repeating the line back to them with confusion.
Must've been English, as "assholes" doesn't rhyme.
I've put this under "live action TV," but it's just a guess that it was a TV show.
openLate 90s/early '00s anthology series Live Action TV
I've been trying to find a specific episode in an anthology series I used to watch when I was younger - I thought it was Outer Limits or The Twilight Zone but I've never been able to find the episode I was looking for by searching through those shows.
From what I can remember of the episode, it involved a group of college students (or maybe late high school?) Camping or something, and they end up in a cave where they find a bowl or chalice filled with blood. They accidentally spill it and seem to get stuck in perpetual night.
I think it ended with them killing one of their friends to refill the thing with blood, but the ending is ambiguous on if it worked.
IF anyone knows which episode this was, or even what anthology series it was in, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I may be misremembering some thing, but the bowl/chalice of blood and them having to sacrifice someone to refill it are definitely correct.
EDIT: After checking for the 500th time, it actually is the twilight zone - the episode is Sunrise, from the 2002 series.
Edited by phantomlink959openDocumentary about apocalyptic storm Live Action TV
Basically I remember there was a show similar to Life After People that explored different scenarios, like what if the world stopped spinning or what if all the oil disappeared. I have a distinct memory of an episode about storms increasing in intensity until the entire planet is covered in one super storm. There are two scenes I remember in particular:
A scene where a giant blot of lightning kills a herd of cows. The family watching this happen get vaporized by the radiation the bolt produces. And the ending where a group of scavenging people are living in the eye of giant hurricane and trying to keep ahead of deadly winds. I haven’t been able to find any info on this episode online anywhere. I know for certain I watched it somewhere between 2012 and 2014.
The closest match I found was a show called Aftermath, but it does not have an episode based on storms from what I can find.

Nickelodeon or Disney show, possibly another network. Male character pretending to play the trumpet and making "doodily do" sounds and doing trumpet motions, moving their head and torso up and down. This is super vague, but I'm hoping to figure it out.
