Western I saw on tv once or possibly twice many many years ago. I may have only seen one scene.
Two men (the protagonist of the film and someone else - maybe his antagonist, maybe a friend) are involved in a bare knuckles boxing match. They both cheat by having something wrapped in their fist which increases the power of their punches. As the rounds keep going and going they both get more and more beat up. At practically the end of the fight, but during the fight itself, the both 'fess up to the other that they have something in their hand. The winner of the fight (probably the protagonist) has a rifle bullet wrapped in his hand. The other man has something else, but I don't remember what that was.

There was a spy movie (or maybe a caper movie) that must have come out before 1980. The only things I remember are that it was in color, the main character had a beard and maybe wore a leather trenchcoat, and the main character was killed at the end of the movie at a playground or near a carousel, in kind of a downer ending. Any thoughts?

This was a movie from the early to mid 1980s. There are two male protagonists and they work in a facility where they work with classified materials. They're generally unsupervised and I think they are in charge of keeping up with some kind of space or satellite program data. They either work as civilians for the U.S. government or a government contractor.
At some point, I think they're approached by someone wanting to buy government secrets. They both agree that this isn't something they want to do, but they come up with an idea to crate a fake program based on the real one and pass that to the people who want to buy the secrets. They don't see anything wrong with this scheme, but they know they will get in trouble if they get caught.
Throughout the movie, they have to sneak around to make copies and the fake information, which requires them to have some extra equipment in their workspace, but the equipment is unauthorized, so they have to hide it. One of the places they hide it is in some bins used for shredded paper.
At one point, their boss (who is portrayed as the bad guy) comes in to inspect their workspace. He has a telescoping pointer or maybe the antenna from a portable radio that he uses to poke around in the bins of shredded paper.
That's about all I can remember of the movie. I can't remember if it was a comedy or if it was played straight. Thanks in advance.

A movie or Made for TV movie about a hispanic(?) migrant worker teen, who moves around with his family as the crops are needed to be picked and such. A white man takes a liking to him and tries to help him improve himself & get out of that life; but I think at the end of the film the white man goes to the teen's place and discovers that the family has moved away.
I think the white man was played by Brian Dennehy. At one point he has a monologue about how he escaped his own family destiny of working in the mines all his life like his father & father's father, etc.

A series of educational films that I watched in Science class. Maybe made before 2000, but definitely post 70s. It was live action with a little bit of CGI.
What I remember most is the epic opening that had a pan flute in it. I always thought it was WAY too awesome sounding to be in an edutainment film. The theme played again in the end credits, but with a saxophone. It was in full color.
I think it was something along the lines of "eye" and the logo had an eye, "eyewitness" maybe?

This is a movie I remember watching in the mid-90s. I only recall a few details, but I think it involved the following:
- the protagonists were two or three teenage boys
- they found some cabin in the middle of nowhere (I think they believed it was abandoned and were going to use it as a hideout or something)
- the cabin was in fact occupied by an older guy who was a criminal or something who was hiding there, and I think he held them hostage and made them work for him, or just wouldn't let them leave, and was very rude and abrasive
- the villain was played by an actor who I thought was Joe Pesci, but nothing he's done matches this description
- one wall had a bunch of photos, mostly of women; at one point, the criminal guy berated the teenagers about how difficult it is for him to be on the run from the law (I think that's why he was living there) and not be able to have a girlfriend
- I think a black car, which may have been broken down or just parked outside, figured into the plot somehow (maybe the criminal guy owned it)
- I think there was a scene where the teenagers went to some kind of field party at night and took drugs, and did something called "purple hazing" (looking into a bright light which then makes everything look purple-tinted, a stoner activity)
- I thought the title was something like "The Lost Boys" but there was a vampire movie by that name made in the 80s and it wasn't the same movie
Does anyone have any idea what it is?

Me and sis have been wracking our brains trying to remember a 1 episode stand alone semi-vintage cartoon involving pirates who travel the globe stealing everything. The art style felt messy but unique in many respects, especially during a far mystic east scene that we believe was narrated a bit, and one mystic was slowly making himself disappear before the pirates came in and took everything.
There was another scene involving flower maidens at one point and we believe the protagonist of this one-off show had followed the pirates to their hideout and after they'd passed out he got the flower maidens out and locked the pirates in their keep. Also if it's relevant every time the pirates prepared to go to a new destination there was a sort of build up like taking a breath and a memorable diddy would play as the wind caught their sails and they sailed off to steal from another land.
We're not sure if they were vikings or pirates though, and it seemed like an international kinda film/cartoon, not exactly a western styled film. Little talking was involved and most of it was put to music. We feel like it might have been a 'Just for Kids' thing but not really all that sure.

I saw a film on TV a few years back that was a period piece based around a real life courtcase in the 18th century involving a Spanish slave ship whose 'cargo' had managed to overthrow their captors (I think) and ended up in the English-speaking part of America a number of years after the American Revolution. Anthony Hopkins was in it, but for some reason the character I remember best was an impressively snarky British naval officer who was called upon to testify in the slaves' favour.

Does anyone know the name of the horror movie found in this clip?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UDNQJdLGjs
The portion I am asking about runs from 1:19 until 22:44.
This video was uploaded to be part of someone's comedy bit, and they are talking over the movie. The two people speaking never actually say what the film's real title is, and the comment section doesn't have the name mentioned there either (at least as far as I could see).
So, does anyone out there know what the real title of this movie is?
Thanks in advance!

This is a DVD released film that we rented (from a major rental store) about 2-3 years ago. It is animated but at the level of a very poor Flash Animation video. The story is about a College age girl who becomes a vigilante, and the bad group ends up mutating her boyfriend. She ends up saving him, returning him to normal, but he then sides with the bad group by choice, and she kills him.
Bad Animation, Bad Story, Bad Voice acting. On the level that you want your life's precious hour back. Not the level of funny cause its bad, its just bad.
The Only part of this rental that didn't make us mad, was the only extra on the Disc, the Director's commentary. He goes on to not talk about the movie, but rant about how much better it would have been if he had gotten Halle Berry to be the lead voice actor, as he wanted. At one point "Halle Berry" seems to be every third word. His complete loss of reality is what makes it entertaining.
The tiny production company (likely that guy and his friends) are in Chicago. (said on box or was mentioned in commentary)
Just Spent an hour and a half going through every video in the store, with no luck, and the computer records only go back to the begining of this year.

This was a Sci-Fi movie from around 1994. I thought it was a scene from Tank Girl, but I just watched that again and it wasn't in this movie. The movie takes place in the future after some kind of apocalypse and I think it's in San Francisco. The part I remember is that the protagonists keep talking about some secret leader they have who was trained by the Navy. Later in the movie, it's revealed that this leader is a dolphin. Any help is appreciated.

I remember seeing a horror film where a black sludge was possessing people and creating monsters out of itself,. The story was set in a snowy place, real cold and in America, maybe Alaska, and a team of investigators? newspaper reporters? came there and were being offed one by one, as it always goes. What really stuck with me was that that black sludge entity could posses someone`s body and talk through them, but the person wouldn`t move their mouth, just kind of hold them open while the voice comes out.
I also think that the deal with the sludge was that it was an oil mining town and that the workers thought that the sludge was oil. In fact it was some kind of prehistoric organism that could absorb the minds of those it eats. By the thoughts it got from it`s dinner, it came to a conclusion it was the Devil, an Ultimate Evil, or something like that.
I really can`t find the film since I watched it some 10-15 years ago, I think. Any help would be awesome guys....

A docuhorror/found footage/mockumentary movie I watched not too long ago, about a guy who's documenting the facts of a murder case whom no one has been accused of yet, but the guy seems to be trying to prove the innocence of one speculated suspect, until *SPOILER* the murderer wAS HIM ALL ALONG!!! switches out of found footage/mockumentary unexpectedly for the ending.
I didn't think it'd be that hard to remember or look up but here i am.
edit: it's the last broadcast. nevermind. good work everyone you all may go home now

A sci-fi film, probably early eighties, that I remember fragments from.
A young boy is kidnapped by or stows away with a band of mercenaries or space pirates. Over time, the boy bonds with the crew, especially with their leader. The crew consisted of at least two humans, one male named Hawk, one female, but by the end only Hawk survives.
I remember a scene where Hawk teaches the boy to use the ship's weapons to blow up asteroids, with the line "Goddamn rocks", and later uses the skills he learned to defend the ship; a scene where Hawk is talking about the past, and says he used to be General Hawk; a scene on the surface of a planet where the woman is killed in a firefight in dramatic slow motion; a scene where the boy uses medical skills learned from observation to help a wounded Hawk.
It may also have used stock footage from "Battle Beyond the Stars" (doesn't narrow it down much, I know).

I need help identifying a movie, I think may have been from The '90s... I'm not exactly sure if it's a horror/thriller movie, but it certainly was dark, and I only recall seeing a brief glimpse of it maybe on TV Guide (or maybe even when it was Prevue) Channel.
Alls I remember was there was this fairly ordinary-looking businessman who actually had connections with Hell, he could actually travel to and from Hell via elevator. I don't what his business was down there, I just remember seeing him standing somberly in an iron-gate elevator as he travels deeper and deeper into the earth, and the next thing we see is the elevator opening up in the underworld and him stepping out, brushing past some buff-looking devils.

Can anyone tell me which movie this animated .GIF
◊ is based on?
I've been told it's Barton Fink. Thank you.
