Hi! I remember watching around 2001 a Sci-Fi TV movie (it could also have been an episode of a TV show, but I'm pretty sure it was a film). By the looks of it, I'd guess it's from the late 90s.
In it, a spaceship crew picks up a strange signal. They investigate it and discover its source: a small black pyramid just floating in space, covered in hieroglyphics. They bring it into the ship to analyse it, and they try to open it with a drill. That's when strange things happen, as each of the crew has a different reaction to it: one guy has a headache, one girl starts having flashbacks of her childhood, etc. After that, I remember a scene where a woman (the capitain?) explains to the others that the Tower of Babel was actually a space rocket (!).
Yeah, it all sounds like a Stargate plot, but I asked a friend who's watched all of the movies and episodes, and he said it's not that.
Does it ring a bell for anyone?

Some details I can still remember are:
1.The movie is more comedial.
2.The actors are all black.
There are three scenes I can still remember:
1. A asks B what he should wear. The sneakers to the UZI or the boots to the rifle. (or something along that)
2. At the start a boy says that no one gets past 14 years old(maybe something else). He then gets shot and another guy says exactly the same but with 21. Of course it's also his birthday today and he also gets shot.
3. Two guys have a "comparison" and exhibit larger and larger weapons. The winner finishes with a van(?) containing a rocket.
I've seen this in another language, so there might be a little difference to it. Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi
I can't stop thinking about a setting in a movie where there is some kind of door leading to a sort of heaven or a setting close to Neverland. The door have fairies painting and ivy all around. The character(s?) are looking to go through the door but this heaven can also be some kind hell for them. The room in itself is empty and old looking. It feels weird, maybe some kind of psychological horror movie/series.
Thanks you!

I saw this while lurking around in the Nightmare Fuel section.
"There was a short film for an online Defensive Driving course. It is a brutal case, not the least because the girl was quite beautiful before, and had aspirations of being a singer. What puts it into overdrive are some of the details: she was trapped in the car, and was heard screaming (i.e., she was conscious), for forty five seconds while it burned. Just watch a second hand go round a clock sometime and see how long that really is. Also, she not only has virtually no face anymore, but she got gangrene and lost all her fingers — she can't even feed herself, or do anything else for herself in a personal capacity. Even the fate of the drunk driver in the other car — an 18 year old kid — is Nightmare Fuel in a way: one night he's at his first big-kid party and the next morning he's in prison for negligent murder (other passengers in the girl's car didn't make it) with no bail money and only a public defender to represent him. And he's not a jerkass, either — he's a decent kid who's appropriately horrified at what he caused. And yet his life is a breeze compared to the girl's."
I know exactly what they're talking about because I saw this movie in school this year, but at the same time I've forgotten its title. I think it was called "[name ending in]i's Story" or something like that.

A movie about two boys, one being mentally handicapped but big as an adult and the other being physically handicapped yet somewhat brilliant (he had glasses and used crutches to walk). They struggle while dealing with regular bullies and honest-to-god criminals and street thugs. They pick up interest in arthurian tales, and the clever one makes a book for a big one, he titled is as somethign among the lines of "Moron the great" (which I believe was also the title of the movie, but couldn't find it)
There are other details, like "moron"'s mother being dead and killed by his father, clever kid was trying to make an "ornitopter" so like a mechanical bird. They retrieve a wallet for a lady that turns out to be anold acquaintance of moron's father and so on. Great movie btw.

Science fiction film.I am not sure if this predictors which can see the future are artificial humans or not(I don't know what they are called). The police arrest criminals before they commit crimes through information provided by these predictors and imprison them in a freezer. The police thought the protagonist is the bad guy but he is not.The protagonist run away with one of the predictors.Near the end,the protagonist is talking to big bad(which kind of tricked the predictors)before the big bad commit suicide with his own gun. Then the police arrive.I only remember these scenes.

I was shown this in the counselor's period in the late 2000s, but the film was probably 80s. It featured this older teen (or maybe he was a young adult) who didn't live with his parents, but an aunt and uncle? He moved away as part of the plot and during the leaving scene said something like, "There, they make spaghetti with real ketchup!"

There was a made-for-TV disaster movie from the 90s, I think. I remember it was about tornadoes, and had a lot of stock footage to save on special effects. The lead character was a blonde lady. The scene I remember best is one where she and a guy - possibly a romantic interest? - were outside when they saw ball lightning, and the lady had to explain what it was.

I saw this film at school. It starts off with 2 brothers watching a man try to commit suicide using exhaust fumes from his car. The older brother tries to sabotage it so the suicidal guy locks him in the car too. The brothers somehow escape but the younger one is traumatised and goes into a coma-like state. Some detectives get fingerprints from a drinks can the older brother was holding to prove that he was in the car aswell. That's all I can remember. Anyone know the name?

I remember there being a Hercules movie, probably Made-for-TV, probably Sci-Fi/Syfy Channel, that had the endgame and The Reveal as a lot of Doing In the Wizard (or was it Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane?)
For instance, Cretan Bull was actually a bandit instead of a literal bull, and he was actually Herc's father, who had been mistaken for Zeus because of a lightning-shaped scar somewhere on his body.
Toward the end, Hercules and Cretan Bull had a showdown in the caverns to "the Underworld", and Herc decided to defeat Cretan Bull (who was equally as strong as himself) by causing a cave-in and trapping them both inside. Around that time, Herc made some epic line to the effect of "Zeus, Hercules, or even Cretan Bull - it doesn't matter. We are not gods! We are just men! VERY, VERY STRONG MEN!"
I'm pretty sure I remember having seen it in the wee hours of the morning...probably somewhere between ten and six years ago.
Can anyone point me to the movie?
Nevermind, I found it.

I think I asked this in the old YKTS and got the right answer, but the old YKTS is history so I need to ask again.
A black and white film featuring Vincent Price as the villain. He wants an inheritance, or the deed to an old spooky house, or something like that, so he has a vial of poison (helpfully labeled "POISON" with a Skull And Crossbones on it) that he's trying to feed to the proper owner, who might be an old lady in a wheelchair. In the end someone doses him with his own posion, and maybe he falls down a flight of stairs as he's dying.
EDIT: IIRC he claims that the poison is medicine as he's giving it to the old lady, so she'll die slowly and an autopsy won't notice the poison. When he gets dosed himself he is injured and an illiterate servant gives him the whole bottle of his own "medicine" to make him better.

A movie that I very briefly saw in the early 2000s. The scene in question shows an old, graying man waking up inside a non-CGI bag of flesh. Possibly a "Fantastic Voyage" Plot, but he wasn't shrunk.

Hello, I am trying to help my husband remember a show he watched after school in the 1965-1970 timeframe. We have been searching for a long time.
This is a show that was on right after the Alfred Hitchcock Hour, weekdays after school. It was a 15 minute show that aired twice in a row. It was clips from other tv shows that were either taken out of context, or given funny voiceovers, (we aren't totally sure on the premise)but it was presented as comedy and was very funny.
I have tried searching comedy shorts of the 60's, but can't find anything. I'm hoping this will ring a bell with somebody.
Thanks! jonalisa

I saw a scene from a movie years ago (at-least I think it was a movie) the only scene I recall is that a man is executed by gas chamber, it was a large glass gas chamber and he was only in his underwear, he goes all around the gas chamber banging on the glass and yelling before he succumbs. I wanna say it had an 80s feel, and I saw it in the mid/late 90s.

I remember watching an American movie (I think) in 2005, late at night, on a Danish television channel (which means the movie is probably from before 2004). It was about a couple who got married in a hurry and had two children, first a girl and then a boy. The mother had some sort of mental disorder, because one of the scenes I remember clearly is her screaming in front of a lot of guests, because her tulips had changed their shade (even though the gardener had warned her about this), she was very controlling. They were rich and their house was white, but after some time the couple split and things turned bad. Both of them got new lovers and then the mother died of some disease (or pregnancy), and I think her boyfriend murdered someone, and there was a bit with the will, too, and who got the children. The mother was blonde and the kids had trouble/were bullied in school, I think, but I'm not certain.

A movie I remember catching some bits of it when playing on someone's home. All I remember was that there are two boys finding a golden statue & someone else trying stop them from taking the statue. As later on the the statue melts into golden liquid, which I believe what happens next this that the boys later carry the liquid in buckets.
