openInteresting way of dodging a truck Anime
At least I think it's anime. A character is in the middle of the road and sees a semi coming at them. Instead of running away they use their superpowers to make the truck suddenly split in half, go around him/her on both sides without slowing down, then rejoin once past as if nothing happened.
openThis one head banging scene Anime
I was wondering if you could help me find this anime, i remember 1 scene from it and it will be in the link bellow, i think it fits the trope of "Enraged By Idiocy"
openKodomomuke anime Anime
So there was this show I used to watch a lot as a kid on the PH Disney Channel. It's about this little girl who gets supplied Doraemon-style gadgets by a being, all so she can marry an alien prince. It's rather weird but I can't place a name for it.
openRobot cartoon/anime Anime
Friend is attempting to recall an animated show he vaguely remembers seeing in the 2000s in the United States, though he doesn't know what channel it could be on, or if it's even an anime or a western cartoon.
Main characters were a group of human kids with (fairly large) robot companions, main antagonist was an AI who would deploy gray-toned robots of similar design to the protagonists', while also being generic mook-types. AI had a female voice and was entirely disembodied. He also vaguely remembers a big tower from which swarms of these mook-type robots would be deployed. Possibly a 2D/3D CG hybrid with the robots animated in 3D.
Friend is certain that this isn't Medabots, Cubix, or Code Lyoko. LBX, Zoids, and B-Daman were also suggested but neither of those triggered any further memories.
openShort murder mystery manga featuring lifelike robots or clones Anime
Hello. I am trying to recall a mystery manga I read. It was short, about 20 chapters probably, and split focus between multiple characters.
One character was a female detective investigating the murder. I recall that she would receive clues snuck into her car.
I think another POV character was a young boy, who was a clone/robot son of someone who worked at the company making these things, and was neglected.
I want to say that the murderer was a young man who applied for a job at the company.
And, i promise this is not why i want to find this manga it just happens to be something i remember, i seem to recall that one character had clones/robots of his daughter and there was an implied incestuous attraction by him.
The title may have had something to do with ice cream?
It is not MPD Psycho or Dolls.
I want to say a plot point was about how an old man who was murdered was in a locked room on a high floor, and the murderer had to like, parkour to his window from the next building over.
Edited by NillawafersopenWhat Pokemon episode is this? Anime
On the Heartwarming page for Pokémon, there's an entry that's referring to one of the episodes from the anime. Now, this entry should be on the Heartwarming page for the anime, but it doesn't specify what episode it's from. This an issue because the page is organized by season, and the entry itself doesn't have enough details for me to clearly label what episode it's from.
- Some extra Team Rocket Heartwarming (they sure do it a lot): In one episode, James nearly gets himself killed by trying to capture a rare and powerful Pokémon on his own, and while Jessie comes to rescue him, they both end up getting trapped by the raging Pokémon. Resigned to the fact that they're going to die, Jessie tells James that, if there's an afterlife, she wants to meet him again there. This actually makes the terrified James smile, knowing that he and his best friend won't separate even in death. Luckily, they end up getting saved by Meowth, but still.
- Even sweeter because Meowth and Jessie, discouraged by their bad luck, had just abandoned James to go pursue careers. He was extremely upset, but as soon as they found out he was in trouble they ran to rescue him. Then they teamed up again. Status Quo Is God, but still, awww.
If anyone knows which episode this is from, then I can move it to the respective folder on the anime page. I can't really message the person who added it either, since it predates the edit history. At best, I can say it predates the XY anime, since the page history goes back to 2011, which is while the Black and White anime was airing.
open2000s anime with monster exorcising -- with a reference to Japanese mythology Anime
While rereading my query for a cartoon that turned out to be Mix Master
, I remembered another anime I saw in the same time and place.
I remember not finding this anime cool back then, for some reason. Once again, it had at least an Italian dub, which was broadcast in 2009.
It was probably a fantasy setting. There's only one of the heroes I remember in some capacity, and it's an angel/cupid girl, wielding a bow and arrow that gets used to exorcise/purify the Monster of the Week. The villains included a old crone-like witch, and an ugly, goblinish critter doing Pokémon Speak.
There's one thing that really stood out to me, though, and that's a reference to an event from Japanese Mythology, where a hairless hare kami tried to cross a river by jumping on the backs of either sharks or crocodiles. This is also why I'm confident it was a proper Japanese anime, instead of merely Animesque.
By the way, the reason I could recognize that reference to Japanese mythology, is that I had a book when I was a kid that collected various myths and legends from around the world, and one of them was the same Japanese kami trying to cross river tale.
openBlue robot woman Anime
I have this gif of a blonde-haired, blue-skinned gynoid in a torn pink dress glitching out as she's got laser sights trained on her. Then she springs a leak out of wrecked part of her. Looks like it could be from the early 1990s. Any ideas?
openIsekae variant works Anime
I'm looking for two "Reincarnate in Another World/Trapped in Another World" stories:
- The focal character is just a normal person who's lived in that world the entire time, while the "Isekai'd" person is a completely different person.
- An inverse of the usual format where someone from a fantasy world winds up in a modern one.note Before anyone mentions it, I know about Gate, but that's not what I'm looking for because most of the plot is basically "the usual format" writ large; with a literal army - and all that entails - being brought to the fantasy world.
openAPP Manga about people transforming into animalistic monsters Anime
Does anyone know about this manga where people who were struck and wake up where there is nothing but flora and no fauna. When triggered, people transform into animalistic creatures. Some become herbivores while others turn into carnivores creatures that would pray on the herbivores in a quesi-cannibalism while there were some who resisted the urge despite their growing hunger. Does this sound familiar?
openThat one mon series Anime
A long time ago(around 2014-2016) I watched a Chinese dub of a mon anime(or maybe it was just a Chinese animation that had mons?). I only watched a couple of episodes. Here is what I remember:
- The mons are stored in cards(I think) and also seemed to have a separate dimension from humans
- The mons could talk to the main characters.
- At one point, a large mon died(or maybe survived somehow, I only watched a few episodes so I don't know if they were Killed Off for Real) while protecting the main characters
- I think in the beginning of a season(or maybe I'm misremembering which episode it was because I didn't pay attention to episode lists), the main characters have to travel to another dimension/world to reunite with their mons who seem to have voluntarily be in that dimension
- The blue mon seemed to be on bad terms with their partner human
- I got the impression that the main characters had one mon each
- The mons that were partnered with the protagonist had simple/cute designs
openRapper guys bother a girl on a pier Anime
I saw a scene where three guys dressed like rappers (one of them even is rapping) walk onto a pier where a schoolgirl is standing. She tries to get away but the guys deliberately block her path.
openKnockoff of a Disney movie, anime style?? Anime
Hi! So, one day I decided to take a nap and fall asleep to a movie. I remember scrolling through either tubi or freevee or some free streaming service and found a knockoff of a Disney movie. It was either Sleeping Beauty or Beauty and the Beast or something. I mostly didn't focus on it but something about it caught my attention.
The movie started off with someone walking through a marketplace and buying fruit (maybe apples?) from a dragon, or some kind of non-human creature, at a fruit stand. The creature was kind and sounded like an old woman and I think the man buying from her was the prince of the story. I remember being surprised that the story started off this way instead of starting with the princess. It was also in a sort of anime style and I'm guessing it was made in the 90's. Very much had the feel of a Golden Films/Jetlag Good Times film.
I've been going crazy looking for it! I wish I remembered which exact fairytale it was. I hope someone can help me!!
openA really weird anime with a fan service moment involving a giant bird. Anime
I'm fully expecting this to be some random crappy OVA no one remembers but the first "real" fan-serivce moment in anime I stumbled onto long ago was from some fantasy OVA or series.
A woman (I presume the villain) got picked up by a giant bird which tried to "eat" her (which just resulted in stripping her with it's beak) before the heroes saved her.
It popped into my head again and I'm curious what the hell it even was.
openAn anime about a girl with spirit friends. Anime
I went to a convention where they were doing guessing game with clips from diferent anime, some were identified and others I recognised. One that made me curious but was not identified was a clip from anime that looked like it was from the 2000s, the clip had a desatured style and featured a girl trying to ask for the help of an old man working at a store while a group of ghostly spirits with more exagerated designs that only she can see or hear, scream at hear for being introverted. I tried to search for it but I could not find it.
openOld anime with playing card-themed opening Anime
Lately, I'm thinking about the opening to an old anime series that I've seen back in the early 90s. The anime itself might be from the 70s if not even the 60s, and the opening had a march-like theme song and animation that included some kind of playing card motif. Anyone remembers what it might be? I'm not sure whether the song was the original one or the Italian version.
openold kids anime about robots Anime
i think this anime is from early 2000s. it's an action fighting anime for kids with robots. but instead of controlling them from inside, the human characters simply issue them commands and directions, and the robots will comply. so the main theme is the relationship between the main character and his robots.
openboy backing up while girl chases him Anime
Alright, so yesterday on Twitter, I saw a GIF of a really light purple/white-haired girl walking after a boy who was backing up. (I don't remember exactly, but I think the girl would approach, the boy would back up, the girl would stop, and they would repeat the cycle.) The feed refreshed before I could like it. The animation looked newer.

I'm looking for a manga where the mc has no skills but becomes great at anything he tries. There is an arc where he joins one of several magic schools and reveals that his father got a rare title by mastering pieces of every magic including necromancy or dark magic which the heads of the school are surprised since they look down on it because the leader of the necromancy/dark magic is weird and creepy despite being implied to be powerful enough that he kept the position after his death. In another arc he becomes a monster tamer and tames several legendary monsters. Finally one of his sister became ruler of a kingdom and set things up so that even skill less people could live there easily but he rejects her offer despite her doing it all for him because he never had any intention of just living a normal peaceful life and was surprised she thought that was something he wanted
