From my early childhood, somewhere between 1994 and 1998, I remember watching a cartoon on Dutch TV (dubbed, not a Dutch original) about a small boy and his friend/father-figure who drive a flying locomotive in a quest to find a small girl with whom the boy was probably in love with, though it was a kid's show, so I don't remember overt romantics. The father-figure was big, black and dressed like a machinist. The art style could be somewhat like modern Professor Layton games, but flatter. I really enjoyed it back in the day. Any ideas?

It was a stop-motion (probably Claymotion) children's show about a catowner who frequently hired a father-son team for things like his moving house or doing something for him on a ladder. They came in their own van. The cat was called Sponge. Its white-haired fat owner wore a lilac-to-purple jacket. Each episode lasted about 5 minutes. The opening sequence had music but no lyrics.

Some months ago I watched this TV movie about a writer affected by many phobias who wants to put an end to her detective stories by killing the main character. She goes to her vacation home, where she starts suspecting that someone is stalking her.
Can anyone remember the title of this movie? The first one to find it out will have my gratitude and some gratuitous vandalism on his/her wall.

A book where this girl is being called by evil spirits from within the walls of the house. I don't think it's her house. She eventually answers the call of the evil spirits to rescue someone, maybe her grandfather. The evil spirits live in this sprawling underworld and give off kind of a Tim-Burton-meets-Cyriak vibe. They all feed off something like blood or tears or emotions or whatnot, and she meets a werewolf who feeds on something marginally less creepy than the rest and falls in love with him and forgets all about the quest for a few weeks. The werewolf's name is something like Syldra. I think the main antagonist puts a lot of pride in being a formal gentleman. The version I read was a shortish mass-market paperback with a yellowish cover.
Also, there's a really vivid spoiler concerning the werewolf thing, but I'll hold off until people respond to what I've got.

I'm looking for either a film, or tv show that aired in Australia sometime in the 90s or early 2000s. I think it might have been part of a series of Arabian Nights stories but I'm not really sure. The bit I remember is a scene where this sultan or something is hunting a deer and and there is a little boy who's trying to protect the deer. I'm fairly sure the deer was magical...

My brother used to watch a cartoon in the early - mid 90s that had a character in it that was just a flesh coloured blob living in a glass chamber. It wasn't that skinny fetus-looking four armed thing from that ocean girl show. It was just a stretched out wad of flesh in a giant jar with a face on it. Also, one of the characters was a flying boy or animal of some sort. But seriously, it wasn't that ocean girl show. I think it was kind of science fictiony. The cast was a group of young people, I think, having adventures with their little flying buddy and I don't remember if the flesh blob was the villain or some wise old fleshy dude that they consulted for adventury wisdom. Anyhow, this has been bugging me for years.

This one's been bugging me for a couple years now; it's a kid's sitcom, like Zoey101 or Neds Declassified School Survival Guide, which had a female character who acted as an Abhorrent Admirer to one of the male cast. She almost definitely wore glasses and was a lot less ugly than the object of her affections would lead you to believe. (He probably disliked her because she was crazy, rather than ugly). In one episode, she sings Where Did Our Love Go to the object of her affections, probably while he was running from something. All my instincts tell me it was Quinn from Zoey101, but I've been unable to find a clip where she sings that song. Any help?

This was a book that I read, possibly a translation of a Japanese book, I'm not sure. There was a boy and a girl (?) who were friends, only than the girl (?) got cancer, I think, and got sick, and died. She wanted to go to Australia, but she died before she could. Instead the dead girl's family took the boy and the girl's ashes to Australia, where they let her go.

I remember this TV movie from when I was younger, and it's been bugging me that I can't remember what it was. It played around Halloween (I forget what station) and it involved some kids who found an old monster movie, watched it and then their house got struck by lightning or something and the monsters came out of the movie along with a detective character. Does anyone remember this?

One for a friend of mine. It was from the 80s, a cheap sci-fi style movie (maybe made for TV).
A man finds his wife in a cabin where she has given birth to he thinks alien babies and she is feeding them. It was a graphic scene. At the end he burnt the place down.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

This is for my mother, really. We were discussing horror movies and she mentioned seeing one she really liked but cannot remember the name of. It's about a man and a woman, one of them is driving and the other hitchhikes and joins them. Their car crashes in a snowy area and they're trapped in the car while all these ghosts start appearing around them. Later on they learn that the ghosts are victims of a serial killer who buried their bodies in that area. Googling "horror movie serial killer ghosts car snow" got me nothing. Any ideas?

A movie that used to air on the French Teletoon during the late 90's/early 00's. The story was that a dog called Homer moved into a farm (?) and he used to be a television actor or something. It had that Don Bluth/Disney Copycat artstyle.

I'm trying to remember a book I read when I was in the third or fourth grade, 1995 or 1996. I barely remember the plot. I think it was about two kids, a boy and a girl, who took a boat to an island in the middle of a lake, looking for something. They're pursued by a couple of men along the way. The only specifics I remember are that in one scene, the boy told the girl to "throw aweigh the anchor," so she threw the boat anchor, chain and all, into the water, and in another scene, the girl was confronted by the two men and asked them if they were pirates, they responded by saying yes and that they would make her walk the plank.
Well, that's all I've got.

Either a TV movie, or a short movie that aired on TV some time in the late 90s, early 2000s, I only saw the beginning of it. A principal at a school receives a VHS tape; the tape is of a man who claims to be sending the tape back through time from the future, and he warns the principal that a school bus taking students on a field trip is going to be in an accident, killing all the children. The man says he was a student in that class, but stayed home sick on the day of the field trip. I never saw how it ended.

does anyone remember a tv show from the nineties (mid to late) that was about older teenagers... it featured a girl that acted a lot like the characters that zooey deschanel plays. for a while i thought zooey deschanel was the actress in this show i'm trying to remember, but her IMDB bio doesn't list that as her work... the actress had very short (chin length, bob) black hair and piercing blue eyes. who was that and what show was this? sorry for the limited information.

There was a show on Nickelodeon during the Nineties where kids were paired off, then given a bunch of random sports equipment as well as some other things (like trash can lids, spatulas, and the like) and had a certain amount of time to invent their own sport using some of the equipment.

I saw a horror movie on television in the 80s; the only thing I remember is a woman getting trapped in a glass shower, when the hot water came on too high (perhaps this was all supernatural?), and killed her. Lots of steam and Gory Discretion Shot. Scene has haunted me, but don't know what movie it was.

I remember watching some kids show which centred around an 11 year old girl who was chasing some book which the help of some tiny monsters (7 I think). I remember the number 11 was critical to the plot in all sorts of ways.
