I am looking for a movie that is in black and white. It is set in Egypt. I don't recall much except for one scene. A young girl is to be scarified to the gods, because she is beautiful. The slave/worker assigned to make a crown for her protests. He makes one that is dull, rather than one that shines. I think the worker/slave might have been Jewish. I remember something about an argument over one god versus many gods and how could god(s) ask for such a horrible thing. I remember that the young girl is killed even though the slave tries to save her. They use a big knife to do so.

This is going to sound silly but here it is...
I "saw" a movie on august 1, it seemed to go off at about 8:00 pm or a little before that, however I never saw the actual movie. The picture on my TV was out, so I could just hear the end song and credits and now I really REALLY want to find that song and possibly the movie too.
It was, as I said, on August 1, 8:00 pm is when it ended maybe a little earlier, and it was on the "THIS Tv" channel. If you know what I mean, here in Detroit it's channel 4.2, but I believe on Comcast it's 294 according to their website. I tried to find the schedule there but it wouldn't go back far enough to show what was on earlier today. Presumably the movie was on about an hour and a half, maybe two.
The end song was kind of a ballad I think, sounded distinctly like Gloria Estefan, but it may not have been. The end song was playing over what sounded like a lot of people cheering, and if I recall one of the lines was something about, again I believe, "wishing" on a "shooting star" or some combination of those words.
Anyway, I know this is HYPER-MEGAOBSCURE, but thanks in advance for any help guys!

I'm looking for a Japanese movie that involves psychics, and some worms that one eccentric psychic warns about. I'm pretty sure there was Religious Horror in there. There was also some aborted babies, and people were committing suicide. A psychic girl went missing as well. I think it started with an N, and it's one of those Mockumentry. If anyone remembers the name of this movie, please tell me. All I can remember about the ending is the boy's face changing, and the protagonist house caught on fire.

This might have been a film or a T.V. episode, and was seen in 1989 at the very latest.
When I was little, I caught a snippet of live-action sci-fi that really stuck with me. A man and a woman were attacked by a robot in a futuristic corridor. The robot reminded me of a Transformer, but it must have been much smaller. I don't know if it was stop-motion or a person in a costume.
There was a tender scene between the two humans, apparently after the robot was defeated. One tried to move the other. The one lying on the floor said, "my bones are broken."

A short CG or stop-motion film about a handbag, probably black but possibly red, that devours everything in the room and grows to an enormous size, which does not seem to faze the little old lady who owns said handbag. May or may not be associated with Wallace And Gromit.

A comedy film I saw where there was a couple who were thinking about having children and they got these simulation electronic baby dolls which were very loud in a shopping mall and they wound up wrecking the dolls and the entire store was staring at the couple and I think they got kicked out of the store. It was incredibly funny but I don't know the name of the movie. Help?

There was a movie that I saw about 10 years ago in school, that I need help with. Anyway in the movie had a man and his kids going to a factory that made robot grandmothers for a month, with the suggestions of families that came to visit. The family in the movie makes suggestions for their robot grandma. They then leave the factory and a few weeks later the robot grandma arrives. At one point the kids get up in the middle of the night to spy on her, but she catches them. Towards the end she reveals to the family that she has to go back to the factory as a month has passed since she had arrived at their house. However the kids ask the factory to let them keep her, and the factory agrees to let them keep her. Before I forget, I think that "Ask me no more questions, Give me no more lies" (or something similar) was one of her lines of dialogue. So could you help me?

I've got this scene in my head from a movie. A teenage girl is hiding under a table in a diner. Someone comes in and grabs her, and takes her into his truck. Then the guy who took her (who's in the driver's seat), grows a massive lizard tongue and licks her... THIS IS FROM A MOVIE THAT SCARRED ME WHEN I WAS A KID and I need to know what it was...

I was watching an old film (made in the 90's maybe) the other night which my parents said they had seen before but they forgot the title and I really want to know what it is since I didn't finish it.
The protagonist was a very young boy and the setting was kinda rural or sub-urban. His dad's dead and he's living with his mother. He becomes friends with this girl and they get picked on by bullies. At one point, the bullies hit the girl with a baseball bat and her right arm gets dislocated. The boy finds her some time afterward and carries her to a friendly old man for help and he pushes her shoulder back in place (I dunno what the term is for fixing a dislocated shoulder). Also, the boy's mom gets raped by her boss.

So I caught the last ten minutes of this movie on cable. It appeared to be a horror film, with this corpsey looking demon girl chasing around this guy through a somewhat ritzy looking house. The corpse girl could also shoot green fireballs out of her hand. I recognized the lead male actor as the guy who played David Shepherd on Kings. So I pulled up the guide and the show info page, and they gave me two different descriptions. The guide said it was a movie called “Mercy”, a romantic drama about a writer falling in love with a literature critic. The show info page said it was a movie called “Crush” a “sexy Australian thriller”, in the vein of Fatal Attraction. Neither of these descriptions seemed right. Is my cable guide buggy, or did I just fall victim to some Genre Shift weirdness?

It's a mystery/comedy kind of movie.
This movie is set in what I assume to be the roaring 20s or something, at the golden age of radio (no tv yet). The entire movie is set in a radio tower/station thingie. Basically they're promoting some sort of 24-hour live action marathon or something and the protagonist is this writer who has to think of things on the spot for each segment. He's treated as some kind of a loser I think.
But as all this is happening, a serial killer is on the loose killing off the cast one by one and only the writer seems to notice. He somehow manages to deduce who it is all while trying to conform to the steadily dwindling cast of the show (he writes the stuff remember). And for awhile nobody believes him but his snappy sense of humor gets him through.
In the end, its revealed that the killer lives at the very peak of the radio tower where well I actually don't know at this point but I think he became a mad scientist after being fired/scrutinized by the various victims he's been killing for the whole movie. The cops bust his hideout to find what seems to be a prototype for television (and they get mesmorized by it as a post-modern gag of sorts). The film ends with the leading lady asking about the future of radio and the protagonist remarks that "Radio will never die"
I've only seen this movie like twice in HBO. Please help me.

I was looking for this certain movie. It's about a princess who was cursed by an evil witch by giving her an enchanted necklae (if I'm not mistaken) that froze her for centuries. She was discovered in the modern days, except that people thought she was a mannequin. One boy broke the curse tough and this princess had to adjust to the modern environment. My best friend and I had this nostalgia thing for this movie yet we couldn't find it and we both forget the title. I think it was made on the 90s or otherwise late 80s.

I remember watching this movie, probably about two decades ago (scary to think it was that long...). It opened with some kind of a spy getting caught. I believe he had a trademark where he popped open a cigarette case and pulled out candy, I want to say red licorice. Something happens to him and this ordinary guy gets mistaken for him. Then... most of the movie blanks out for me except that there's a hired killer after the guy who has spikes which popped out of a glove on his fist and the resolution at the end involves the guy throwing a ball of mud onto the killer's spikes and telling his dog to "fetch". It would have come out somewhere around the same time as Friday the 13th: Jason Takes Manhattan because I remember mistaking a trailer for that movie for a scene from this movie.

This is gonna be kind of vague, but. . . I looking for a movie I saw part of on cable a few years ago. I think it was Korean, but it could have been Japanese or Chinese I suppose. I think it was a romantic drama, since the main characters were a man and a woman. All I really remember is a scene in a restaurant overlooking the water. I think the walls were red. And I think there may have been a conversation about taking a train or otherwise leaving. As for when it's from, probably the early 2000s.

When I was a wee bairn (early-mid 90's) my mom had us subscribed to this monthly movie club (mom claims it was Focus on the Family's movie club). They were all pretty obscure I think.
1. This one was live action and I remember the name of it was The Argonne Forest, but google brings nothing up. It was about a brother and sister who find an amulet in their grandparent's house and it transports them to the Argonne forest. There's some kind of friendly rock formation who tells them they have to return the amulet to a rock in the forest to get home. The last scene has a bunch of kids returning other amulets - I think they were all trapped there until the main characters return theirs as well.
2. This one was an animated movie about a boy who was home sick and refused to do the homework his classmate brought after school. For some reason was turned into a blue bird. There's one really well animated sequence where he's flying around the town, and it's all brownstones and postcard churches. He then teaches another bird to read and write. May have had an "it was all a dream" ending
3. This one was also animated. It was about some penguins in Antarctica who were nabbed by men on a steamship. Most of them were family, but one was an emperor penguin named Sam or something. They all outwit the sailors and find their way home.
4. Last one, also animated. It was about some mice who live in a brick in a farmer's field. The farmer has begun plowing his field and planting crops, but one of the baby mice is sick and the mother doesn't want to move her. This is just the opening, I can't remember much more, except the sick mouse's little brother goes on some kind of adventure to find them a summer home. It wasn't Secret of Nimh or Once Upon a Forest.

Okay, this one has been haunting me for a few years. All I know is that it's about a family that receives a package one day and it turns out to be a robot. I think it stared that little girl from those old Coca Cola commercials (which aired in the early 2000s I think) if it isn't her it's someone who looks a lot like here. The robot looked kinda of like the ones from I, Robot

There was a film I saw some time ago that was 90% of the time about a girl being stuck swimming in the middle of the ocean, with some shots from underwater showing fishes, etc, swimming around. She was rescued in the end. I know that the movie was very low-budget, so it's probably obscure. Oh, and there was no score to it. I also remember something about it being one-shot filmed by amateur film makers.

OK, this time I did more research and still failed to find anything. Looking for a Disney movie, probably around the 1980s to 1990s, involves a kid who finds a way to make his bicycle jump, I think using hydraulics, by pressing a button on the handlebars. There's a section where he proves it on a horse-jumping course. He sells the idea to the company and gets a lot of money for it, but finds that the money doesn't make him popular (there's a section where his mother is consoling him after his birthday party, complete with a laser show, smoke, and maybe Michael Jackson, where no one came.
Near the end of the movie, he realizes that he made a mistake about selling the invention and so he pulls out his original bike and rides across town using its jump ability to... do something. I don't remember exactly what.
I remember it being aired as a Disney movie (there used to be a standard day of the week and time when they showed them) with little commercial bumpers involving people in the character suits. I believe that Goofy pulled the bike out of the crate and somehow wound up floating into the air with it.
