openVHS-Era (Spanish?) Animated Movie Western Animation
So my memories of the context around my viewings of this are significantly stronger than my memories of the movie itself, but I feel like they could be useful: back in elementary school, we had mandatory Spanish lessons (it was a K-12 “Lab School” for the local state university that had lots of programs like that) but our instructor was lazy as sin and frequently just put on this Spanish-language animated movie for us to watch while sitting there reading or whatever. They also put on an English dub of it once or twice, I can only assume as an excuse to say they were actually teaching us.
This all happened in the early 2000s, I’d say from 2000-2002, but I feel like the movie was old at the time, potentially going back decades from that. It was definitely on VHS, at least. I don’t remember anything in the way of plot and barely recall anything character-wise, sadly, but I’ll try: it was medieval themed, taking place in a castle. The animation wasn’t that impressive I don’t think; on the level of like, classic Tom & Jerry and the like. It was a comedy that either focused on a romance, or had a major romantic subplot? There was a king, a princess, I think a gardener? Maybe some kind of scrawny knight guy? Like I said these are old memories. It might have been legit edutainment but I feel like it was just a kids movie.
I’ll also add the obvious caveat that while my memory strongly associates this movie with Spanish and it’s Spanish dub, I honestly can’t say for certain whether this was a Spanish/Latin American movie or an American one with a Spanish dub, though I’m pretty sure it was the former.

Kids' book about a boy who wants to do human photosynthesis
- It involves eating a lot of liver, which he hates
- He ends up abandoning the plan because he starts turning into a plant which is going too far
- Pretty sure a relevant teacher ignores his warnings about the above and ends up turned into a tree in the end
open[Solved]Old man as vending machine
There was a manga about an old man who died and became a vending machine in a dungeon. What was it's name?
Edited by DelibirdaopenA group of people go camping, all are murdered by one of them, he's found out by a video recording Film
A group of people go camping (it's like a trek, they camp in different locations) and they're dropping dead one by one. They suspect the killer is one of them, and at the end only a young woman remains. She records herself with a video camera, explaining the situation, when the murderer appears and kills her.
The murdered arrives to the car that was the final location, gets the car key from near one of the tires and drives to a near motel.
A kid founds the camera, and the last image of the film is the police arriving to the motel.
openChildren story book's where kids turn into inanimate objects.
I remember there being these two children story book's I once read at my Grandmas house.
The first had this anthropomorphized donkey go out into the woods and go to a creek. There he finds like, a pebble or a rock or something, and he touches it or it grants wishes and somehow he turns into a tiny red pebble. His parents go looking for him and they give up and like weeks later they go have a picnic by the creek and they find the pebble. Touching it the kid turns back to his former self. And they lived happily ever after, yippee.
The second was where this rabbit found out if he like sneezed and hiccuped at the same time he transformed into a rusty nail. He uses this ability to hide from an evil witch. He then goes on to be hammered into a wooden post.
I think the author of these books has also done some adaptations of like Hansel and Gretel or to. There art style in the books is soft water colors with pen outlines for the objects.
openNo Title Literature
A YA book I read years ago that's not quite a fairy-tale retelling, but fantasy of some sort. It was about three sisters whose parents were Sleeping Beauty and her Prince. After their mother dies, their father goes into a deep depression and locks himself in his room working. So the sisters head off on an adventure... It seems like for the most part, the book was fairly humorous. But there was this one chapter where they encounter this little girl's ghost playing pick-up sticks with bones. I remember being really creeped out and skipping that chapter.
openHorror game: One where you were asleep and something talked to you Videogame
I don't recall the exact details, but I distinctly remember this one horror game where the protagonist was lying in bed, something entered the room to speak with them, and you only saw what it looked like at the end. That ring a bell to anyone?
open"Human-Mon", a fanfic with SlaveRace Pokemon
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/article_history.php?article=Main.SlaveRace&more=t#edit31811170
No link, not a redlink, and hard to Google phrase, added by a troper that's infrequent.
Anyone able to confirm its existence?
Edited by Maladyopen(Solved) Children's PC game in factory Videogame
I have extremely vague memories of a PC game I played as a kid, but I barely remember anything about it. All I remember is that the game begins with an outside shot of a factory while music plays, the game contained difficulty buttons that sung a barbershop quartet "Hello..." "Hello..." "Hello..." when you started a mini game, and that it might have had some kind of cartoon gorilla as a mascot character.
Does anyone have any idea what this game is?
Edited by JankyKongopen"(Something something) Vendetta" Live Action TV
I thought this was from the Seinfeld episode The Barber, but a search at seinfeldscripts.com didn't turn it up, so maybe I'm remembering it wrong? Someone makes a dramatic declaration that ends in the word 'vendetta', with them pointing up with a flourish. I'm pretty sure it's a guy, I think they were speaking Italian although it could have been another language and I thought it was Seinfeld, but now that I'm thinking about it it might have been Bill from Newsradio. I can't remember the episode, and short of rewatching either series, it's going to bug me. Anyone can help me out?
openVisual novel about girls getting reverse isekaid Videogame
I remember playing a game with a girl from a fantasy world being teleported to your world. There was a dialogue with the protagonist basically being surprised that there were no chips in her world. I also remember a bad ending in which you accidentally touch a poisonous plant and a doctor rescues you and says he did a a nude full body checkup. I think you got that ending by choosing to follow 1 of 2 girls in a forest like area.
openAnimated film about dragons Film
Sometime between 1994 and 2000 I watched an animated film that I seem to remember being called something like "The Last Dragon" or "Last of the Dragons". The protagonist was a human girl and I *think* that the dragons were able to shapeshift to hide themselves. I remember very little about it. It's not The Flight of Dragons.
openPicture book about a girl having a bad birthday Literature
Basically the girl’s birthday was coming up and she remembered the events that happened on her last birthday. I believe she had either dark blonde or light brown hair in pigtails. She was in charge of her little brother and he ate too much pistachio ice cream and got sick. I remember the illustration showing him as sickly green. She also had cousins visiting and one of them had black hair and a black shirt.
Edited by EeveeTraineropenYoung adult book - main character turns into a dog. Literature
I'm not sure if the entire plot revolves around the main character being a Baleful Polymorph trying to return to human form or just the bit I remember. One thing I remember is that tail-wagging is involuntary, which he finds annoying: apparently all he has to do is think of anything happy, even the word "smile", and his tail starts moving.
openBrain Game or Game Brain Web Original
I remember this one youtube video of a game review channel of sorts that was linked to on an old wikia page, it had a green screen of a sorta lab area when the main guy was talking, and a talking brain in a jar, I do only know there was. One video about Crash Bandicoot
openRed & Yellow Dog Mascot? Web Original
I'm looking for a red and yellow chihuahua mascot found in flash games and in magazines. I could've sworn it was owned by National Geographic but for the life of me I can't remember it's name. Probably started with a Z iirc. That dog was a part of my early childhood.
openA Movie about a curly haired Brunette Film
I saw this video on Facebook about this girl with curly brown hair getting bullied for no reason by this bratty blonde. Eventually the blonde goes overboard and hurts the girl during dodgeball and the brown-haired girl gets her revenge on the brat.
Does anybody know that movie?
openGirl made fun of after falling at school
It was either a film or a tv show I remember seeing on TV. It followed a girl at school who fell over in the school halls and everyone made fun of her and she couldn’t escape it. I remember her dad saying ‘When I was young everyone called me George Cloonis’ or something like that. It was very cheesy and had narration and freeze frames I believe with a sort of ‘yep that’s me’ moment.
openREALLY weird edutainment short about eating right. Live Action TV
I remember in school in The '90s we watched this really weird short that was intended to teach about proper nutrition. It involved some Human Aliens (or maybe they were time travelers, I forget), who find some humans in some kind of Suspended Animation, and will only save them if they find out they ate right. I'm not sure how well I'm remembering it, but it looked to be about from The '80s. Later, when I discovered Mystery Science Theater 3000, I thought it seemed just like the kind of short they would make fun of on the show, albeit more recent than most.

I dont remember much since i only read one book that was in the middle of it, but it took place in a world where the protag was a seaperson, and the antagonist was trying to take over the world using clones he made to spread out or something. The book i read took place in the desert, and the clone there was named Scorch i think.
