openA tick runs over a dog Western Animation
In a compilation cartoon on Cartoon Network, there was a tick that kept running over a dog that resembled Courage the Cowardly Dog. The tick kept doing horrible cartoon things to this dog until its skin came off and its bones were showing, but was played for laughs because no one gets hurt in a cartoon.
openTrying to remember an old cartoon, help please! Western Animation
This has been bugging me for months so I decided to search around but I can not find this one show. I don't remember the name but I can explain it pretty well otherwise so here goes:
Basic info would be that the show took up a half hour block but each episode was usually 2 15 minute episodes played back to back. The show was animated 3D models, not 2D animation. I can recall 2 characters more clearly than the rest but the group as a whole would track down and catch rogue aliens while also juggling going to middle school. (Or high school maybe, the age of the characters' escapes me.)
I remember the old man of the group (I believe affectionately referred to as "grandpa") and his granddaughter. Because they were aliens. The other 2-3 kids in the group were humans.
I remember the girl has blonde hair when she looks human (and in a season finale I believe her alien form looks like a pink octopus. She was forced into her alien form by a flower bracelet that she kept smelling, if anyone remembers that particular episode?)
The grandpa was smart and I'm pretty sure also supplied the gadgets that the kids use. He is an alien and i don't remember if he was actually related to the girl but they came from the same home planet, and get along well enough.
Small scenes and tidbits I can recall: - In the opening each character is introduced one at a time with name of character, a close up pose, and a couple small clips of the same character in the background, doing random things and showing their basic personality. The girl alien is stretchy. One character I believe is carrying a stack of books, and spook them in a grasp on top of himself.
- once the girl alien got detention and thought it would be actual torture like her home planet. It was boring but the substitute turned out to be an alien anyway so they catch him. The alien was after the girl, and i think that was the beginning of the season finale arc.
- they have a gadget that they throw on the ground that makes a dome, everything in that dome is basically invisible, so they can have unseen alien fights in broad daylight.
- I recall one episode where in the fires couple minutes, a boy is making some basketballs float like "magic" and impressing the crowd of school kids. He was just using magnets though.
- the characters have a clubhouse. The grandpa may or may not live here? But the meetings go on there. The girl might also live there. The inside looks very alien.
- The girl alien usually guesses about human culture based on her experience on her home planet, and is usually wayyy wrong. Generally her home planet seems very strange and somewhat brutal, comapred to ours.
(I don't know if this helps but I remember thinking that the feel of the show was a lot like code lyoko)
Edited by alia258openPrincess(?) in tower wakes up trolls in eggs by singing to them Western Animation
That's about the only part I can remember about it. Story was something along the lines of: Dark ruler forces magical trolls to sleep and transforms them into eggs, Princess is locked up in tower as she has the magical power (song) to break the spell, Eggs find their way to said princess, she sings and eggs hatch. I guess it has to be early 90's
openEducational(?) Kid's Show Involving Dragons Western Animation
Okay, bear with me here, but the name of this show has escaped me for days.
Two kids (brother and sister?) somehow hide a giant box with a shiny dragon scale which they use to transport themselves of a land populated by (you guessed it) dragons. They then go back and forth every episode, going to the magical dragon land. It might have been on PBS? This is driving me mad.
openAnimated short film about a boy who gets trapped by Old Man Winter after neglecting his brother...? Western Animation
I remember watching this animated movie/short about this boy whose parents leave him home alone to look after his little brother, Junior. The boy doesn't keep his promise to look after him, and somehow ends up becoming a servant/slave of this man who I'm going to call Old Man Winter due to the fact that he keeps the boy in a room made of ice. I remember that the boy was sitting in the ice cave/room with a bunch of frozen animals around him. He strikes a match and the animals are revived by the warmth. The man is angry that the boy did that, and roars, "Isn't this what you wanted?!" And the boy yells, "No!" and runs outside into the snowy forest, where he finds his brother's frozen body curled up under a log or something. He tries to warm up his brother in his house, but it doesn't seem to work. And then his parents come home. I assume it was a happy ending in the end, but I don't remember. Anyone remember this?

openCartoon involving sheep and wolves Western Animation
I think the sheep were the main characters, and the wolves were villains. It was on DVD, and had singing in it.
open1980s Techno knights cartoon Western Animation
I'm trying to find one of those merch-driven 1980s cartoons. It took place in a distant future where technology had stopped working and the world had reverted to a sort of knights of the round table style fantasy England deal. The heroes and villains received magical powers from a wizard or dragon or something. Some of the characters had these battle standards that could give them a specific superpower after they received some long winded catchphrase, the others could activate derelict technological artifacts.
openWeird cartoon about animal hybrid things I for some reason remember... Western Animation
I remember watching this weird cartoon when I was younger with animal hybrid things. I remember the intro having something about some scientist guy who tried making hybrids or something, but then he was taken away.
I don't remember that much about the show since I watched it a very long time ago and I don't quite remember where it aired (I do recall it airing on some cartoon channel, though), but I do remember some characters. I remember that one of the main characters was some orange thing with a cat head whose name was "Perry" or something and one was round with the udders of a cow and a pignose. There was also a mayor that was a two-legged rhino with a chicken head on his butt that liked stomping on people. I also remember a platypus that was female and an evil dolphin dressed in black. I also remember parts of a few episodes. One episode started off with the two main characters rolling around the city/town and cleaning it up in the process. Another episode had the two main character get stranded on some island that was later revealed to be an island in a sea so shallow you could walk to that island. Another episode had one of the main characters very sick or something because he drank potions in an attempt to become invisible. One episode had the female platypus thing trying to write something but was always interrupted. And finally, another episode had the two-legged rhino find out that the chicken on his butt was actually alive and had a mind of its own.
Just curious if someone knows the show and what channel it aired on. I have been looking everywhere but I can't find it because I can't remember the name of the show. So, anyone who knows the show?
opensci-fi-esque cartoon about a girl living in water (not a mermaid!) Western Animation
I remember watching a cartoon on the German channel Super RTL during the 90s (possibly 00s) about a girl that lived in water (not a mermaid), had dark hair (ponytail?), dressed in pink/purple. There was also a guy that lived on land, dark hair, and they were friends (maybe romance?). He was dressed in blue (pants, tunic-like shirt). There was also an evil woman who was their enemy. She was tall, skinny, dressed in a floor-length black robe, and her head looked like a frilled-neck lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii). I can't remember anything else, unfortunately. Does anyone have any ideas?
openkids cartoon with chain chomp-like robots, bugs Western Animation
So I vaguely remember having a VHS of these characters that may have been bugs of tiny people (I think they were bug things, I remember some of them flying) and the only episode I remember is when the bad guys send these big robot things that I believe resemble chain chomp from mario, with big mouths, but also with two long legs. The good guys eventually do something like spray the robots with pollen or something and the robots start malfunctioning, spazzing all over the place. I also remember big drilling machines... Any ideas?
openPurple mop sidekick character? Western Animation
I'm look for a kids TV show (maybe from the 90's to early 2000's) where there is a purple mop looking monster. I'm pretty sure it was based in a castle and the main character might have been a witch? The only thing I remember was that there was a cute purple mop looking monster with eyes. Please help me find it! :(
openCartoon from the mid-2000s Western Animation
Can't remember much about it. Protagonist was a little girl who visited a zoo at night. I distinctly remember her sliding out her window on the neck of a giraffe, but not much else. I think she could talk to them.
openAnimated show where teens/children read myths? Western Animation
I remember this show where two teens (maybe children ), I think a guy and a girl, read various books and myths? I remember the guy wore blue and the girl wore pink and there was an episode about King Midas... They learned lessons and stuff? Would be early 2000's, I can't for the life of me remember the name!
I thought it might be a segment on Between The Lions, but it's not... Sorry that there's so little to go on!
NEVERMIND, it was Adventures from the Book of Virtues!
Edited by IanthinaopenToddler animated shorts Western Animation
I remember watching a series of short animations when i was young that, the animals would always be a hybrid of at least two animals, and, i'm pretty sure each one would be a couple minutes long and be like a music video almost. I'm not sure what channel it would have been on. I found it on comcast's on demand service years ago.
I can't really remember the details of any of them besides one that had a mix of a cat and a bee (i think) in the main focus and i think he was singing about missing a friend or something like that
openDungeons and Dragons Animated Film? Western Animation
This one is making me feel crazy—I can't help but wonder if I just had a random dream of a scene in a nonexistent movie.
I can't remember a proper plot, but I have a vague memory of a scholarly looking (skinny, glasses, modern attire) man talking with one who had an air of mystery and magic. Considering I mentally associate this memory with D&D, I can't help but think of the mysterious man as the Dungeon Master. He had the scholarly looking man in his personal library of unfinished books—in fact, he took the scholarly fellow's own unfinished book off the shelf to demonstrate. I think the scholarly guy tried reaching for the book, but was gently chastised by the DM as the book not truly being his yet, or something like that. Furthermore, I think the DM sent the scholarly man to a medieval fantasy world?
I know for certain this isn't the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon with the main villains being Venger and Tiamat, but there might be a connection—some kind of adaptation. When I try to picture the scholarly man I mentioned, I think of Presto the wizard as an adult in a casual suit. When it comes to the DM though, for the memory I don't picture a short and squat man like the one that guides the kids in the show. He mostly comes up blank, but in typing this I'm now getting a vague notion of a typical wise wizard appearance (long beard, grey hair, a robe).
I could be entirely wrong about the association with D&D though. It might just be another animated medieval fantasy film. Still, I want to see it—I have no idea what it was about, but that one scene kind of speaks to my own as of yet unrequited dreams of writing a book.
openAIRED ON AUSTRALIAN CHILDRENS CHANNEL BETWEEN 2000-2010 Western Animation
Hi, I have never used this forum, or intact any other forum before so please be patient as I am learning. I am trying to recall a tv show that aired on either abc 1,2 or 3 between 2000-2008. As I recall it, it was about a girl stuck in a sort of magazine/book where she found adventure tearing through pages each episode. A boy from the real world would somehow open the book she was in and was somehow sucked into the book and they would find adventure in it. Then at the need of the episode the boy would come out of the world and she would be left in the book for another day. I need help remembering the name, its been bugging me for about a month now and i'm at my wits end.
The animation style of the tv show was sort of like collage style where the characters and their surroundings look cut out Thanks for the help guys :) and sorry if this doesn't make much sense, I am not born in Australia
Edited by INeedUrgentHelpopenCan't find cartoon about paranormal school? Western Animation
Hi, I've been trying for years to find a cartoon which I saw once as a child (late 90s or early 2000s). It either was cancelled after the pilot or a once-off as I never saw it again. It was set in a school which experienced some kind of paranormal activity and the protagonist was a new, teenage student (might have had blue hair). As far I remember, the other students considered the paranormal things normal. She makes two friends (a girl and boy?).
The only scene I remember was when the two girls go to the bathroom after experiencing something strange. The dialogue was something like: "I'm sweating after that." "Hey, can I borrow your deodorant?" "Isn't that kind of gross?" "It's okay, I'm only using it on my lip!"
The art style was somehow really unique. If someone has any idea, let me know as my searching yields no results! Thanks in advance!
openNo Title Western Animation
Pretty sure this was a TV cartoon (series) circa mid-late 1990s. I don’t remember the context but it was an adult male who was annoyed by the dorky teenaged/adolescent boy with him, who would keep singing impromptu songs in a high-pitched voice. One of them went along the lines of “We’ll have more fun than a barrel of monkeys!”
Not much to go on, but I’ve had the silly “barrel of monkeys” song stuck in my head all day, and it’s driving me crazy! I need to remember what it’s from. I think it was one of those short-lived cartoon series that proliferated around the time (i.e.: in the wake of The Simpsons).
