Find a Show:
openFantasy cartoon? that aired on ABC kids Western Animation
There was this edutainment type of show for young children that aired on ABC kids (Australian) around 2013-2015 when I was too young to remember good details and I never heard anybody on the internet talk about it. It was 3D animated and it had a fantasy theme? The main character wasn't human and it taught kids how to spell. I can't find it anywhere on the internet, this is not the site for lost media hunts so I hope it's out there somewhere.
openA probably gory scene with totally gory implications Western Animation
I believe it to be a western animation show, but it could be an anime as well. The show had a scene where a female character is being sentenced to die by dismemberment, immediately-ish followed by her panick, sedation by drugs and a scene where two executors, one of them male, nonchalantly discuss something along the lines of on of them doing a cranium disassembly for the first time.
openAnimation about an Indian Girl with a pet Parrot Western Animation
I keep having this memory about this animation on You Tube I found in the 2010's, it was of a young Indian Girl with a pet Parrot, who lives in a village with other Indians, I remember there being an episode where the village has a flood, and the girl befriends another girl who was being targeted by these two male creeps before the authorities got to the men.
Does anybody know the name of the show?
openPSA where Soviet missile shoots down Santa Claus Western Animation
There was an infamous Cold War PSA where Sants Claus is depicted as being shot doen by Soviet air defense. It starts out eith Santa's sleigh flying over the Kremlin, and the narrator says something to the effect of "This year, the soviets are dreaming of a red Christmas", after which a russian missile destroys Santa's sleigh.
open"Shake the cloud, Nanny" Western Animation
Unfortunately don't have much to go off of, but it was a 2000s young children's show that aired in Australia featuring a narrator that would roughly once an episode talk to this (I think) non-human side character that could float in the sky or piloted something that could fly. The character was called Nanny and the narrator would always say "shake the cloud, Nanny", then Nanny would repeat its name like a pokemon and shake the cloud for some forgotten reason.
This has been racking mine and my dad's brains for over a decade now
openBritish kids show about a grey donkey Western Animation
I saw the intro on You Tube the other day. It looked like it was from around the 80s, and I think the donkey had a name starting with D. I think his sidekick was a bear or a gorilla, and the theme song didn't seem to actually mention anything directly related to the show, it just had a message along the lines of 'just keep trying' or 'friends are always there for each other'. I think there was one scene where the donkey and his sidekick lay down under a tree.
openNo Title Western Animation
This (if it exists) is a cartoon, but I'm only slightly sure it's western (so if you know any animes that fit my description say them).
All I can remember is a song that played at the end, and that the main lyric I can remember is "We Saved The Music!" because apparently that's what they were trying to do; save the music. The only other lyric I remember was something like "and then a little girl..." or "but a little girl...". I think she was the main character or something?
It was not Oscar's Orchestra - even though that does involve saving music. I honestly can't remember if this cartoon/movie had talking instruments or not. I'm having a vague idea that the girl may have been a redhead, but it was so long ago.
openNo Title Western Animation
I used to see this Swedish animated short film on the Family Channel (now just Family) here in Canada, and they showed it a lot. It was about musical instruments, showing a trumpet, a saxophone, a tuba, etc. Not sure what it was called, but I did some research and the closest title I could find was "Do Nothing 'Til You Hear from Me". I did some research and found that was the title of this when I looked on IM Db, and it says the copyright date was 1998 (which is when I first saw this, and Family ran this for years). These are my best details I can provide. Anyone else seen this? If you can find me a link of the short film appearing on You Tube, send it to me!!
openNo Title Western Animation
Not a show, but an animated short from the 90s (at least that's when I saw it). It looked like a European production, but I'm not sure of the country. It was in a ballroom-type setting, and there was a rather attractive woman and a series of living musical instruments. Said instruments would follow her around the room and play "Do Nothing 'Til You Hear From Me"
to win her attention. I tried entering the song's title followed by "animation" in Google, You Tube, Dailymotion, etc. with no luck. Another thing: The reason I remember it is because YTV here in Canada would stick it in between shows as filler, along with promos and the like.
So if you can, help a troper out. You know, just to make sure I'm not imagining this.
openReally Weird Christmas Special Western Animation
So, I remember a while ago I watched this 2D-Animated Christmas special. All I remember is that there was a Five-Man Band of I think superheroes. They have a secret base and when they're summoned to save the day they jump into these elevator-tube things that might put on their costumes or whatever but it's really just an excuse to have them all standing in triumphant poses, facing the viewer, in columns of colored light corresponding to their color schemes (I think). The Christmas Special ended with them somehow standing by Jesus's manger (oddly, the show seemed to be set in the present day. Maybe there was time travel?) There was another thing, and it doesn't seem relevant to Christmas at all so whoever showed it to us might've accidentally left it running and showed us another episode. This one had one of the team members be injured and out of commission, so when they got called the member's pet (a hamster) filled in. It ended with *everyone* being injured, and then the phone rings and *everyone's* pets jumping into the tubes and doing the pose thing.
openStory of Achilles in Space Western Animation
When I was little (the mid to late Eighties) I saw a cartoon that had a situation clearly based on the story of Achilles, with a child dipped in a magic river growing up to be a nearly invulnerable hero. It wasn't a straight adaptation, though. It was a sci-fantasy cartoon in the same vein as He-Man and Thunder Cats.
I found a cartoon called Ulysses 31 that's based on Greek mythology, but there doesn't seem to be an Achilles in it.
openCartoon with French cops Western Animation
I'm trying to remember a cartoon I saw when I was young. All I remember was that there were two French cops, one of whom kept saying "Sí" the Spanish word for "Yes", and the other one told him "Don't say 'Sí'; say 'Oui'."
open(SOLVED: Wobots) Low-Budget CGI Film About Robots, Possibly Christmassy Western Animation
So, I was talking to my friend, and she mentioned a short film she'd seen but can't recall the title of.
It was in CGI, and though it was pretty clear the animation budget was low you could still tell that, unlike every other low-budget kids' film, actual effort had been put into the character and set designs.
My friend couldn't recall much about the plot of the short, but there were robots who potentially saved something, a little kid with Elmuh Fudd Syndwome, and possibly a Green Aesop about trash/recycling. The movie was also set in the wintertime, and might've been a Christmas cartoon.
As for format/possible other details, she mentioned it being like a DVD extra attached to another, possibly unrelated, film.
And that's really all I know about it.
Edited by sRAMrelevratopenaction movie about hindu gods Western Animation
i watched this thing in mid/late 2000s on a (probably pirate) dvd. it's some kind of cgi animation. the first setting is a modern city, the protagonist is a western blonde girl with a pet dog, living in a skyscraper. she meets some dude when her dog runs in front of his motorcycle. the dude will be important to the plot later. her friend is kidnapped or something, and someone is targeting the blonde girl, th above mentioned dude is helping her. the plot revolves around hinduism and their mythology, i remember the goddess kali and krishna, bengal tigers, labyrinth ruins etc. the bad guy looks like some kind of criminal organisation boss, he has resources and like hologram technology. any ideas?
openCartoon involving a boy and a cat Western Animation
Be warned, this one is going to be incredibly vague. When I was about four years old (that's twenty years ago) I saw this animated series about a young boy. It had no spoken text, just music. The intro sequence (but it may have been the outro) involved the boy stacking up crates and flying away in an airplane. There was also a cat around. One episode I remember involved the boy taking care of a baby bird and later helping it migrate. The aforementioned cat followed them all over the world because it wanted to eat the bird.
Edited by AlbertosaurusopenFake Mustache Tear-Off Gag Western Animation
This isn't about finding a show in particular, this is about a specific gag from something:
A character who was in disguise (paper-thin, of course) using a fake mustache rips it off to reveal that the fake mustache was covering an identical-looking real mustache.
Does anyone have a clue what this gag was from? Just throw any show you know has one of these gags into the replies; it might be the one I'm looking for.
openCharlie Brown "I'm Toast" Scene Western Animation
This is a bit of a weird question, but do any of the Charlie Brown animated specials have a scene where Charlie Brown says "I'm toast" and then has an Imagine Spot where he turns into a slice of toast?
(And NO, I am NOT thinking of the toaster sequence from the Thanksgiving special.)
openShow involving puppets (SOLVED) Western Animation
The video below is the leader of the defunct Dutch childrens' channel Kindernet, showing a variety of clips from shows that aired in the year 2000. I know most of these, but for the life of me I can't figure out what the puppets at the very end are from. Does anybody have a clue?

The first time I got my teeth cleaned at the dentist building I still go to today, I saw a cartoon on Teletoon that featured the theme song lyric, "Dream a dream that makes you happy," which was sang twice.
Another time, when I was in my grandparents’ spare room in late 2004 or January 2005, I managed to catch three glimpses of an episode of another cartoon. It showed some people on some kind of amusement park ride, and a young boy excitedly said that they were going "to the next level" as they entered another room of the ride. (This inspired me to use the word "level" repeatedly when my dad filmed our house for insurance purposes in January 2005.) After the ride, (I assume) the same boy and a man (who I assume was his dad) were telling someone else about the ride. The man was talking nervously, but the boy was talking enthusiastically.
