openGuy eating nails music video Music
So theres a music video of people covered in dust, in something that looks like a hospital room, i remember a scene of a dude eating a jar of iron nails and then they sprout from his body. Also a bald girl kissing a machine
- It was live action but with some stop motion scenes, i guess
- Im pretty sure it's a TOOL video, but i just cant find it
openShould be obvious Music
In howtobasic face reveal what's the song that starts right here. I know it's very famous, but for the life of me right now I don't know it's name:
openCarl Orff-inspired bombastic song from Barbarian movie commercials-UPDATE: Solved! Music
There is a song I keep encountering that has a very Carl Orff inspired composition resembling "O Fortuna." I used to hear it back in the '90s all the time whenever a channel like TBS was going to show barbarian movies like "Beastmaster" or "Conan the Barbarian."
The song is featured in this scene of the 1993 Mark Hamill film "Time Runner." (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugKeGfV0xnM)
I don't have a copy of this film and there doesn't seem to be any soundtrack information online.
It was also recently featured in "Archer" season 8 (the Dreamland season) episode 7 "Gramercy, Halberd!" during the car chase scene. I got so excited when it appeared and went to the net to see if the song was identified, but every "name that tune" type site cites the song as "O Fortuna" and it's NOT.
Can anyone please name this tune?
Edited by DarkwingDorkopenSong with recurring "There was no U.N" Music
I don't remember much about the song itself other than it being highly critical of the United Nations, I think its genre may have been metal of some kind. but a couple of lines talk about various international tragedies that had little to no official response by the U.N, and each of them followed by a "There was no U.N"
openPop Cover Of Music
I am looking for a female pop cover of Everything She Does Is Magic but by a New Zealand female group and with the lyrics changed so it's 'everything he does is magic' and not everything she does'.
openFrench Pop Song With Infidelity and Pregnancy Music
I am looking for a French pop music video. The singer, wondering why her lover isn't always available, goes to his house. She discovers that he has a wife. Then the singer opens her coat and reveals she's pregnant. Does anyone know the title?
openFlute and Synthesizer Instrumental Music
Back in '02 or '03 I downloaded a mislabelled song from Kazaa and burned it onto a C.D. It's a beautiful instrumental with synthesizers and (emulated?) flute. No one has recognized it yet. Audiotag couldn't help me, and I cant get Soundhound to work. You can listen to it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqeWLEpgYlc
openSong With Oh I Love You. Music
I am looking for an 1980's era pop/electronic pop song that has a similar sound to Enola Gay or Spandau Ballet songs, it has sort of a Gary Numan's 'Cars' vibe to it and the song has ‘oooh oooh you, you know I love you’ in it. To get a better idea of what I think it might sound like:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ie7ECyuosq0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ldyx3KHOFXw
I do remember it being electronic because of the synthesizer, and the riff...it might possibly be a Pet Shop Boys song but it sounds a bit like a David Bowie song or an Icehouse song.
openMusic Video of Things in Yard Music
This was a video I saw on MTV in the middle of The '90s. I couldn't tell you anything about the song, but the video was very memorable. It was a bunch of close-up shots of things in a yard, some of them color-filtered. I'm pretty sure it never showed the band, or any humans at all. There were moving lawn ornaments, wind-up toys, and small animals. At one point it showed an extreme close-up of a blue-filtered earthworm. Really gross. Anyway, I'm curious what song this was, since the video's stuck in my mind all these years.
Edited by ScissortankopenGoth Pop Song. Music
The song is by a female artist...and it sounds like Siouxsie and the Banshees and the song has 'in the darkness, all over in all those places' or 'distant places' and sees...'in the spotlight, I see them everywhere'. It is a gothic pop song.
openSolved! song with a chorus like "step, step into the nation" Music
A long time ago I posted this https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/query.php?parent_id=29154&type=ykts
but never got an answer and it eventually got locked. Anyway, in case anyone was wondering I found it out and the song is Icehouse- Cross The Border. It turns out the the lyric is actually "Points to the nation", although I think I conflated that and the title (which is also in the chorus). As for the other two details I mentioned in the thread: the album was definitely "Measure By Measure" and the song that I said mentioned the Big Bad Wolf is "Regular Boys", although the line actually says "big bad world." Also, Kudos to Nathanforester as he recently posted a query linking to a song by Icehouse. After seeing the name and listening for a few minutes it suddenly clicked.
openVaporwave remix of Tears For Fears. Music
In the How Nickelodeon Dominated Your Childhood video by Nerdstalgic there is a vaporwave/synthwave version of the Tears For Fears song Everybody Wants To Rule The World, but I cannot find it on Youtube. Who came up with this remix?
openAh ah ah song? Music
I’m not quite sure how to describe the song I’m looking for. People insert it into other works like videos where something sad or unfortunate happens and then a soft voice sort of sings “ ah ah ah” and the video goes into sort of slow motion focussing on the face of whomever the unfortunate thing happened to.
openVocaloid Song? Music
I kind of remember this one vocaloid song by Miku, i rly don't remember what the song was about but it almost sounded like an anime opening, was in either A major or F sharp minor, and the music video for it didn't feature the singer at all (it was just a generic boy and girl, plus a heavy stylized flower motive). I also remember there was a piano cover for the song that got more popular than the original.
openVampire Song About The Human Body. Music
Has anyone heard this song? It's a children's song performed by someone doing a Bela Lugosi/Count Von Count impersonation, it is about the human being specifically how blood pumps through the body and the ending has a maniacal laugh which comes after the ending lyric 'without blood we'd all die'. I remember hearing it on a compliation of children's song, specifically New Zealand ones.
openSong about engineering/creating the perfect boyfriend Music
I remember this song had a cool title but I can't remember it. It might have been pop of some variant. It had multiple vocalists of different genders, or at least 2. I can't remember the lyrics. Found it through a YT video's comment section. Gave me mad science vibes...
openWerewolf Record Music
This information is coming from my mother, who is searching for a vinyl record that she listened to and was apparently really scared by as a kid. She says that it involved at least two men arguing with each other, and one turns into a werewolf and attacks/kills the other. She says that other than that information, the only thing she can remember is being too afraid to finish the record.
Edited by SumDumNerdopenUpbeat song about being free, sounded like mild 70s rock maybe (unsolved) Music
I heard a song in a store I am not sure if I heard before or not. Sounded like probably 70ish. Male singer. Upbeat and sounded like very pop-radio of the time friendly maybe rock. I hate how I can't remember if it seemed like it had a bit of folk or island flavor or anything, and can't place what artists it reminded me most of. Lyrics were about being free, and I think about everyone being free. "Free" was the last word of the lines it was in. This feels really vague, but I hope it can be found. Thanks.

does anyone know the name of this famous music piece?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4IGuOJ2ZnM&feature=youtu.be&t=182

What was that song that was playing at the start of the seventh episode of Curfew? I remember that it sounded a lot like the Pet Shop Boys, but I couldn't find any songs of theirs with the correct lyrics. The only lyrics I remember sounded like "I fade to grey".
