openStolen Boba Fett figure Live Action TV
I distinctly remember seeing an episode of a police procedural where a son has stolen a Boba Fett figure from his uncle and the uncle wants the boy's parents to replace it, since it was removed from its packaging. The father is dismissive of the uncle's claim of how expensive it is, and ridicules his brother for being "nerdy" and "not as family focused" as him. Initially they believe the son only took the figure because he wanted to play with it, but it turns out he planned on selling it and didn't realise removing it from its packaging would devalue it.
I was reminded of this when I saw a Reddit post describing these exact events. Every detail was exactly the same, and I know I've seen it in a show.
I think it was a Mentalist or Lie to Me episode, but both of those are usually about murders. It could have been a B plot, but it's much harder to search episode descriptions for that.

I remember a commercial a few years ago, maybe around 2018/19?, that had a bunch of people playing different instruments in different places that were cut together and there was a guy with stilts? I think it was a cell/phone commercial? People were playing like drums, guitars, violins, trumpets, clarinets, saxophones, etc.
openNo Title Live Action TV
Ok, this one has driven me crazy for years, and thus far, I haven't found a match on here... Live Action TV show, presumably for kids. I watched it in the early 90's, but the style of the show indicates it may have its origin in the 80's. I remember one specific scene: Kid in jeans about 8-10 is in their room playing with their stuffed animals (who talk like hand puppets with gaping mouths despite being full-bodied). Makes a blanket fort around the dresser and bed, and the stuffed animals were helping them. Then a mummified stuffed animal with glowing red eyes comes out from the dark and starts terrorizing all of them and rips apart a stuffed animal.
openCommander something? Art/sketch instruction show on PBS. Live Action TV
The opening and/or closing credits were made up of some sketch animations that the host did. Like Joy of Painting and This Old House, the show was designed to teach you a skill. In this case sketch artistry. Mainly with pencil on paper. I know that it was on the air roughly from 1990-1992 on PBS. The host was male, looked to be in his twenties. From haircut to shirt he kind of reminds me of one of the Blues Clues guys, but he doesn't talk in any kind of artificial tone. Target demo appears to be teens or young adults.
openepisode Live Action TV
Trying to remember TV show (or movie) where a character failed to act during a difficult moment. I don't remember what the consequences were, someone got hurt possible. What I remember is the character had kind of a mental breakdown and there were scenes afterwards where the character was in his home and watched the moment over and over from security footage. He timed it on the footage, it was a matter of seconds that he had to act. He then started doing tasks like tying his shoes, or seeing how long it would take to get undressed and get into bed, and he timed each to see it in relation to the difficult incident. I remember the character's friends came over to see how he was doing and assured him there was nothing he could have done, it happened too quick. He said No, it took XXX number of seconds. He told them (I'm approximating this, not sure the exact tasks) No, I could have done something. Do you know what you can do in XX seconds? You can tie your shoes, get undressed and into bed, you can XXXXX, all in XX seconds. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thank you.
openWorld War 2 Docu series Live Action TV
So I remember watching this show on the American Heros Channel or Military History channel it was a show following special forces raids during WW 2 and I remember three episodes specifically that followed the raid on St. Nazaire, the battle for St. Mere Eglise the night before D-Day and an SAS raid against Rommel in North Africa. The show used this weird cgi similar to how they made the show Dogfights and the narration was done by younger versions of the people who took part in the raids and a central narrator who I’m pretty sure was the American narrator of the show I shouldn’t be alive and I think his name is Qarie Marshall but I’m not sure
openMade for TV (USA Network) 'hood movie from the 1990s Live Action TV
Okay, I remember this made-for-TV movie that aired on the USA Network in the 1990s. It was one of the many films that came out in the aftermath of 'hood films like "Boyz n the Hood."
Details are vague, but I remember this really young gang member, maybe 10 or so, named Little Puppet. He's the main villain's henchman.

I remember a show like this on Netflix but I can't for the life of me find it on google or remember the name. Plus Netflix might have removed it. The plot is your typical school SOL shoujo but you can pick a different choice through the episode.
openScene from a Crime TV Show Live Action TV
I'm not sure if this is the right spot to put this question so I do apologise in advance if its in the wrong spot.
I remember seeing this scene in high school 8 years ago on a friends laptop, it looked to be a TV show shot between 2004-2014. This friend was into crime/horror films & TV shows such Smiley, Breaking Bad, CSI, SAW etc.
The Scene I saw was of a young adult Caucasian Female wearing what looks to be some short pyjamas with here arms and legs individually strapped to a table and a mouth mask with a tube going into here mouth. It was in a dark room with lights surrounding her and a man standing there in the darkness on the phone. The shot kept bouncing back and forth between the man in the shadows on the phone and the man on the other end of the phone who was a Caucasian man wearing a dark blue or black suit with black hair. After some talking between the 2 men, the man in the shadows activates a switch or something and something goes in to the females mouth via the tube and she starts choking and foaming at the mouth. The shot then goes back to the man in the suit yelling down the phone angry. Then the camera pans as a birds eye view over the female who is no longer breathing. Then the camera shows the man hanging up the phone and walking away into the shadows. that's the end of the scene.
open80s era tv show Live Action TV
So this is kinda random, but I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I’m pretty sure this was from a TV show but honesty could have also been a movie (I know, not entirely helpful) but the way it was shot from what I remember makes me believe it was a tv show. So basically there is this one scene where this blonde woman, who I can only presume was a real estate agent, is showing a man around an LA house in the hills. They are in the kitchen and she starts to seduce him, by talking about how the blinds on the doors and windows don’t let anyone see in. They start to make out and he pulls away to say something but I don’t remember, then continues, she is looking away as he kisses her neck implying this is part of some plan, and then the scene ends by implying the bad Intercourse. I know it’s not a lot to go on but if anyone knows what this is that would be great! Thank you!

Edited by PeterdhillonopenChildren's Show with Smart Kid with Pet Rat Live Action TV
Something triggered this long-dormant memory the other day, and I can't think what show it could've possibly come from.
I remember a kid in a lab coat talking to us about science while a rat or mouse climbed all over his upper body and head. This rodent wasn't an anthropomorphized character, and I don't think its presence was acknowledged at all. This was a basically realistic live action segment, possibly with sped-up film/video (I remember the mouse/rat being very fast). I want to say it was one of those shows where they cut away to various characters throughout the course of each episode.
I would've seen this when I was pretty young, so let's say The '80s or the very beginning of The '90s. It was well before Beakmans World and Bill Nye The Science Guy.
openkid theater and the great OLD wizard ( possibly solved? ) Live Action TV
cbeebies. don't remember the time, but i watched it somewhere between 2006-2013. might be older, though.
each episode was a story acted out by kids on a cgi backdrop.
i remember one of the episodes rather clearly, so i'll tell y'all about that.
i think this episode's story was about merlin/myrddin ( of king arthur fame )? so around the beginning, merlin walks in. then the narrator ( also a kid, everyone in this show is a kid ) says "no, the great OLD wizard!" or something because they specified that merlin was old and the actor is visibly very young. then a fake beard appears on the actor and the narrator is satisfied. also there was this song that went "merlin, merlin, the great wizard who [something i can't remember]" that the narrator and an invisible chorus sang whenever the wizard used his magic.
i tried looking at cbeebies ( and cbbc! ) shows from this time but i just can't find it! also the "merlin, merlin" song has been stuck in my head for an unholy amount of time-
Edited by noodlesnookopenOld Horror Movie Live Action TV
A crazy family (consisting of a father, wife and young daughter) holds a mother and her child captive. The movie details their efforts to escape. The father has frequent hallucinations of his dad (An Evil Cripple) telling him that he never does anything right and other demeaning insults. In reality the wheelchair by the window is empty but the movie culminates in his death when he pushes the chair through the window and falls out himself.
His wife tells the captive woman a story about how they used to have a baby named Aurthur but her husband killed him. We're shown this scene with a Shadow Discretion Shot. He assures the baby that there won't be any pain because he's going to Heaven before smothering it with a pillow.
The crazed daughter decides to dig up Aurthur's Body to show her new "friend" and drags her outside to help. Thus the two aren't inside the house when it catches fire. The woman and her child escape and the movie ends with the only surviving member of the crazy family throwing a doll down a well as it constantly repeats "I love you."
openParanormal things with scientific explanation Live Action TV
This show was airing in the early or mid 2000s. The main character(dark hair, glasses, square chin, kinda timid looking) teaches physics at a university. He has a goth(if I remember correcrly) girl assistant. There was also his sceptic (I think) friend, a woman of color with curly hair. Three of them would investigate something paranormal and the guy would hope it is paranormal (I think) but he would always find a scientific explanation. I vividly remember an episode about an allegedly haunted apartment where a rocking chair would start rocking all of a sudden and a kettle would boil without anybody touching it. It turned out to be connected with seismic waves or electric impulses or something. The show's intro had paranormal terms floating on a blue or purple background(kinda x-files style). I've looked through tons of lists but it's nowhere to be found, please help!
openUnknown Live Action TV
I feel like this was a live action kids show or movie. If I’m remembering right the lion was an adult dressed as a lion or perhaps a puppet of some sort. He goes into a forest and it’s all musical instruments. I can’t remember much else. I think he gets lost and ends up in the musical instrument forest. The show/movie did have a lot of music. I almost want to say sing along type but I’m just so stumped and don’t remember much about it. I’m worried I’m mixing up shows. But there was definitely a scene where the lion is in a forest with musical instruments in the trees. Help?
Edited to add, I was born in the 80’s so I’m thinking this would’ve been an 80’s or very possibly early 90’s thing. The lion “picks” a musical instrument off a tree to play and maybe he’s on his way to a circus or a big top of some kind. It gives me The Elephant Show or Skinnamark TV vibes but I don’t think it was either of those. But maybe similar. Maybe it was one of those and I can’t find the episode.
