openGuide to Unicorns, Dragons, and Monsters? Literature
When I was younger, there were these three books I had, each were dedicated to specific topics (one was on unicorns, one was on monsters, and one was on dragons) These were NOT the dragonology, vampirology, etc. books, they were smaller, thinner, and paperback.
They all featured their topics from myths and lore, literature, and film. The way they were set up was the left page had "practical" information on it (the backstory, the size, powers, location etc). While the right was dedicated to art of the thing. I believe they were published by Scholastic, as I got it out of a school catalog, from maybe 2008-2012. I can't find them anywhere, any ideas?
openTwo shows in the 2000s Live Action TV
The first show was about a special school that kidnapped kids with super powers, the main character was a male that could get premonitions of the future, another character could mimic other peoples (voices?) handwriting by watching them write. The main plot point was that the huge plant wall keeping them in was a hologram and the AI becomes their friend before becoming replaced
The second show was like warehouse 13 but it was based around a highschool, i remember one episode where they were trying to contain a saddlebag from the pony express. I think the main character was a world traveller
openDoing this for a friend
Its a show that was on netflix a while ago, about the rapture and some kid is the antichrist with the horsemen and angel. I know this is super vague so any guess is appreciated (:
openExample for WhatTheFuAreYouDoing/'eyelid kung fu Film
The fim (Asian, color, dubbed into English) starts off with a guy doing what a narrator calls 'cooking kung fu' around a bunch of pots with stuff cooking in them. Later in the film., the guy's silly friend says he does exercise also and starts winking and blinking. The hero asks "What's that?", the friend replies "Eyelid kung fu!", and the hero answers "That's not kung fu!" That's SILLY!".
openCan't remember name Western Animation
I remember watching a show several years ago where the characters would battle each other as these avatars that they would collect. They would choose who they wanted to use and then an arena. It was all virtual and I think the main characters main avatar guy was green.
openMy family keeps referencing it but we don't know where it's from. Videogame
Does anyone know this educational game where there's the alphabet and when you click "c" and "k" it says "calica" and "kikinka"? I think it's from the 90s and we played it in the early 2000s
Edited by Kuzlalalaopenbad guy drives off cliff Film
I remember seeing this one scene from a movie on tv before I left or changed the channel. It showed this bad guy in a car about to run over this guy on foot (who I assume was the good guy) but the good guy jumps out of the way in time and the bad guy can't stop in time and drives off the cliff. It was NOT For Your Eyes Only. For one, the scene was during the day
opentrance song Music
I remember about 10 years ago when I was looking for this song by the artist K90 I found some song from another band that was remixed by him and I really liked it. Problem is, I can't remember the band or song name other then I think the song name had the word "journey" in it.
openA 3d animated show
All i remeber is that there was a character in a wheel chair. He was a white gentlemen with blonde hair i think and he had a green stone that could cause pain. I remember the guy said he wished all the pain in the world on one guy and the guy either died or went into a coma. Also there were other stones that each had different abilities. The antagonist was some guy might have had black hair who wanted all the stones for himself if i remeber correctly.
openEnglish Transfer student in Japan becomes a Samurai Literature
I remember the book, and what it was about, but I can't remember much else. This kid is an english exchange student in japan, who understands ZERO japanese. The host family tries to make it easier for him, but it just doesnt work. During the new year ceremony at their temple, he sees a tiger about to attack the grandfather of the family. He rushes in, pushes the grandfather out of the way, and instead of mauling him, the tiger goes INTO him. Turns out he's some sort of reincarnation of a famous hero, fated to save the nation from monsters. He can suddenly understand japanese, along with see monsters, ghosts, and control elements, most specifically wood. Anyone know what it was called? I think there were three books in the series.
openEDIT: Found what I was looking for. Literature
EDIT: Found it. It's called Some Girls Are, and it's from a dual book containing Some Girls Are and Cracked Up To Be, both by Courtney Summers.
Edited by Xion_the_Undead-HuntressopenShort story with witches and warlocks Literature
When I was younger, I read a short story about a young girl training to be a witch. Boys were sent to a nearby school, and were warlocks. The detail that sticks out the most was that the warlocks were required (as part of their magic) to eat things like bats and bugs. This might have been part of anthology published only in my area, but I thought that I'd ask in case it was just part of some obscure book.
openThe Big Night Live Action TV
Is there a trope for when a monumental event occurs at night? Usually because it makes it more dramatic.

openDrama with LGBT element (possibly on itv or channel 4)
I can't really remember this drama too well as I was younger when I watched it so details may be a bit sketchy. I think it was a 2 or 3 part drama that either aired on channel 4 or itv. I'm pretty sure I was in Highschool when I first watched it so it would of been pre 2009.
I remember there being a party and the main character being asleep or passed out on a couch and I also remember in the 2nd episode there wasa scene where 2 guys kissed in a lake or a river. Sorry I don't have much else to go on but it's been bugging me for the past few years and I'd really like to watch it again, so if anyone knows what it is please let me know.

openPopular song with female singer Music
I recall hearing this song, possibly a pop song from the 90s. It's a rather popular song I guess as I hear it on the radio every now and then or in stores. It sounds rather upbeat. I can't make out the lyrics but to me it sounded like "Condos. Condos. Something something something spin it. Something something something minute." I just heard it today when I was in the mall but too much commotion drowned out the music and I couldn't make out the lyrics.
openDetective show from the early 80s Live Action TV
I've been trying to find the name of this show for years. It was a drama. I remember 4 characters: an older distinguished detective, a new younger partner (in the first episode he was being shown around and introduced to the other characters), a perky young secretary/receptionist, and digital detective: he used a computer to do stuff like check credit records and do traces.
The episode I remember best went like this: A woman comes to the detectives - "My husband has disappeared and the police think I killed him. Our neighbor - his best friend - says he saw me stuff something large into the trunk of my husband's car and drive it away the night he disappeared". They go around interviewing friends, relatives, and co-workers and everybody says pretty much the same thing: they fought like cats and dogs, hated each other, but if he ever tried to leave her she said she'd kill him. There's a quick trial scene and she's convicted, then she's under house arrest awaiting sentencing or something. They're in the office lamenting how bad the case was and the computer guy comes out of his office and tells them that his computer has been down and he's just found credit receipts from the guy's credit card at a gas station in a small town a couple of hours away from the city. "Hey, the best friend has a cabin up near there! Ah ha!" So they rush to the woman's house to tell her the good news only to find she's committed suicide by sleeping pills and alcohol.
Please help. This has bugged me for years.
openSpongebob episode with Spongebob being a lifeguard? Western Animation
So it's an episode of Spongebob Squarepants, and everyone thinks that to be a lifeguard, all you need to do is have white stuff on your nose, and so Spongebob gets angry (I don't know why), and he says "I'm so angry, I wanna get struck by... a flying ice cream truck!". He then does get struck by a flying ice cream truck, and ends up with white ice cream on his nose, so he somehow is a lifeguard now, but then Patrick starts Hollywood Drowning and Spongebob says, "Patrick can't drown if there's no water for him to drown in" (this line sticks out because he called it water when Goo Lagoon is meant to have goo), so he drinks the water/goo, but then swallows Patrick too and he's still drowning. I think it also has an Imagine Spot of there being gravestones in the goo and he tells them not to swim, again calling it water, by saying there are sharks and sea monsters, but a real shark and sea monster are offended because they think he's talking about their families.
There is an 2016 animated show on the Canadian channel Tele Toon starring a boy named Winston Steinburger, a cat named Sir Dudley Ding Dong, and a mouselike alien named Hampton. With a homemade space cruiser, the three explore the galaxy together.
Can you help me with this one?
