openfictional unaired police procedural pilots [SOLVED] Web Original
there was this tumblr blog that just posted summaries of fictional pilots of police procedurals with absurd premises (set in caveman era, starring particular political figures, etc.) and occasionally describing works that aren't police procedurals as though they were. i'm pretty sure it has its own tvtropes page but i can't find it. i think it was called something like "the police procedural archive"
Edited by iwantedtoaddsomethingresolved Movie poster from this picture? Film
Does anyone recognize the third movie poster from the left in this picture?
https://freeimage.host/i/WGJnm7
I can tell the others are Army of Darkness, Star Wars: A New Hope, The Thing, and Blade Runner, but I don't recognize the other, and the art is way too simple to figure out what it shows, but I figured someone might be able to recognize the style or character?

I want to make a D To S page about them but I can't remember the episode. It was an episode where they thought a man mourning his niece was silly.
openBook series about a boy and his annoying brother Literature
There were at least two-three books in the series, with a spin-off book about a side character.
The first book (and the only one I really remember) was about the main character, the boy, getting a pet turtle, and how he then has to deal with his annoying younger brother. At the end of the story, the younger brother eats the turtle, however the boy is then given a pet dog as a replacement pet, who he then names “turtle”
The boy lives in a small apartment, and his dad worked for a juice company whose products taste really bad.
openWeird movie Film
I saw this movie a while back. There was this girl and three tiny animals. One was a bear I think. And another was a Wolf. Some dude threw the wolf in a fireplace and a human face appeared or something. There was purple mist. I think that’s all I remember
openAnime? Anime
I remember this anime…or I thought it was. This boy and this girl is underground in a sewer tunnel I think. When they finally got to the surface there was a bunch of people waiting. I guess they were trying to rescue them. Then the boy felt sick and everyone is understandably worried.
openweird shapes and dimensions show? Western Animation
I remember a story from many years ago about a city of 2D shapes, a character named Hex, and the circles ruled the world. However some character that was a square found out there was a 3rd dimension.
openComedy with a scene involving a suggestive gesture with a garden rake Live Action TV
This is a scene from what I want to say is a tv show, or possibly a web comedy skit, where two guys are in a home improvement store of some description. One of them picks up a garden rake and offhandedly makes a vague gesture while jokingly saying something along the lines of "give her one of these". The other then refuses to move past it and interrogates him on what exactly the gesture was meant to convey and how he was planning to use a garden rake sexually.
I could have sworn it was matt and jay from nirvana/nirvanna the band the show, but I just finished the entire show and apparently not. Searching for "garden rake suggestive gesture comedy scene" hasn't been terribly fruitful, so any help would be super appreciated.
open2D Animated Movie Released Before 2006
I vaguely remember some 2D animated movie from a DVD at my cousin's cottage I watched sometime before 2006 if memory serves me correctly.
The movie has some guy enter a cave and end up sent back in time to an ancient civilization. He meets a woman who is unhappy with her arranged marriage since her betrothed kills pumas when those are precious to her. There's a whole lot of blank in my memory after that, but I do remember that at the end of the movie, the betrothed, who is the main villain, gets thrown off a cliff and the main character returns to his time period together with the woman.
openChildren's Story About A Grey Kingdom Literature
I've tried here before and got no response, so I'll try again. I recall this children's story from when I was around nine or ten, so I assume it was released prior to 2009 (Rough estimate). It was about this man who I think was the king of a kingdom of music and color who wanders into a different kingdom where color and music are banned, so his kingdom is grey and silent. The colorful king gets caught whistling and is imprisoned in a dungeon with a woman who tells him the grey king is going to force her to marry him.
The two escape from their cage and meet another woman, a very confused chief for the grey king who turned dinner into breakfast. Later in the story, some people from the colorful kingdom who are named "Do, Ri, Mi, Fa, So, La, and Ti," that musical scale, go to save their kind. But Mi gets captured and has their voice stolen. So the colorful king says to the guy (who is also mute) that if he gets Mi's voice back, the colorful king with help him get his back.
At the end of the story, the grey king gets tricked into marrying the chief lady instead of the first woman, while the colorful king and the rest of the gang head back to their colorful kingdom.
openRope foreshadowing Western Animation
I've seen this in a cartoon or more likely an animated movie. The thing is that there is foreshadowing involving a noose and a twist villain. As the twist villain is talking to the hero, before their intentions are revealed, a noose loop is shown before the hero's face. Not on their neck, but the noose is upside down and the loop looks big enough to show the hero's face inside it. I can't explain it very well. But the noose thing is supposed to foreshadow to danger or the twist villain.
openPower Rangers Team up fanfic Web Original
There’s this Power Ranger fic where Dino Thunder teams up with several other Ranger Teams including an OC team. Trent the White Dino Ranger dies cause the author doesn’t know how to write him or something. One Ranger ends up in Super Sentai universe where he meets the Gokaigers. The Timerangers apparently gave Gokai Silver something so the Gokaigers would know about future teams.

openkids' show about spotting the difference? Western Animation
the only voice in the show was the narrator's. feminine. scottish accent. in fact, i’m pretty sure the show was scottish, or at least from some gaelic-speaking country, but i don’t remember the narrator speaking gaelic or scots at any point. or maybe she did, but it wasn’t in the episodes i watched. the animation was pretty simple, bold shapes and colors and all that. also the characters were stylized anthropomorphic animals ( i remember one was a zebra, but i’m at a loss for the other one(s) ) and they didn’t speak. it had an interactive component, where two pictures would appear on-screen and the audience was given time to find the differences between the two. after the time was up, the differences would be pointed out and the animals would do a cute little dance. then the narrator would say a rhyme, which i don’t remember, but it ended with “you just found an opposite!” or something.
openMGS parody video Web Original
Metal Gear Solid parody in the form of a Codec conversation. The Colonel calls Snake in the middle of an important mission to invite him to a Tyler Perry movie. The Colonel says something like, “Yeah, in this one Medea goes to jail and—” before losing connection, ending with, “SNAAAAAAKE!”
Edited by PurpleEyedGumaopenComedy, romance, drama? Film
I saw part of this movie a very long time ago in the early 2000s and the scene just stuck in my mind.
A man and a woman are relaxing and talking on some beach chairs near some water at night. The scene then switches to some party or something. Then back to the man and woman who are walking up some path. The man walks first, and the woman behind. Then at some point the woman sort of sinks into the ground partially somehow and gets stuck. And the man, who walked a bit ahead, returns after a while and helps her out, and they continue. And then the scene switches back to the party.
I feel like there were 3 almost elderly women at some point either before or after the part I described. But that is all I remember.
Ok this is a long shot. In the early 2000’s there was a afternoon talk show in the U.K. called Richard and Judy on channel 4 they used to run a segment every week talking about books etc. it was a big deal to get your book shown on there. Anyway they ran a couple of competitions where you could get your novel published. One of these competitions was to have a real life story told. I remember one of the finalists was a story about a girl and her sister who walked through WW 2 Germany to escape but the story I’m interested in was about a woman who was trying to drive her possibly drive her friend mad or was stalking her friend and then she tried to blame everything on her friends 3/4 year old child. I know I didn’t dream this I remember the interview they spoke to the victim from behind in a darkened chair etc. my partner thinks I’m making this up but he watched it with me. Did this happen is the story online anywhere as the idea is interesting and I’d like to read more about it for a short story idea I have. Sorry for the long post.
