openTime for Spring Western Animation
I'm looking for this old cartoon where these magical creatures, dwarves maybe, are trying to bring Spring to the land, but a senient cloud keeps blowing as hard as he can to keep Winter going. It may have been Merrie Melodies, but I'm not sure.
openYA Dystopia about college admissions Literature
This was a YA book in the vein of Hunger Games. Essentially the plot was about a competition to get into university (the social commentary was really obvious). There were 3 parts to the competition. The first was a writing test. The second was practical creation (I think there was a scene involving botany). In the third part, the contestants were paired up and had to make their way to a city from all across the country. The area where they were traveling was fenced in a funnel shape, getting narrower as they got closer. The protagonist was definitely female.
This book was published in the late 2000s or early 2010s, and the author was definitely female. I know the copy I read had a black cover with a silver circle on it, and there was some kind of symbol in the circle (possibly a lightning bolt). If anyone knows what this book is, it would be really helpful.
openMad Max Rip off Film
It was a 90's film, possibly the straight to TV kind, that ripped off the style of mad max pretty heavily, post apocalyptic, diesel punk style, lone nomadic hero etc. The only details I can remember are that the villain was kidnapping young women and using them to sustain his own life i think. There was a gauntlet the villain made people run involving a pit of scrap metal and jets of flame. The only quote i can recall is the villain telling is henchmen to "undress her, slowly." in regards to the female lead.
resolved cartoon with aliens and psychics Western Animation
As the title says I'm looking for a cartoon, probably from the 90s/early 2000's though it may be older as that is when it aired in the Netherlands, about aliens and psychics. Also one of of the main characters was an alienabductee and could turn his arms into steel
openNickelodeon "scene within a scene" short film Western Animation
I'm looking for a Nickelodeon short from the 90's (possibly aired during the Nick Jr. block). There was no dialogue, just piano music. It started with someone playing the piano and then transitioned to another scene, and each successive scene showed the previous one was taking place inside some sort of image in a bigger picture. For example, I remember one scene was revealed to be a stamp on a package carried by a man riding a camel in a desert, then the camera zoomed out to show the desert scene was actually a picture on a little girl's lunchbox as she walked through a city. Other scenes included Buddhist monks, an astronaut on a space station viewing a laptop. In the end, everything looped back around to the piano player. I am not sure if this short had a name, but I'd like to be able to find it online and watch it again, because I always thought the concept was interesting.

openEducational videos about English concepts Live Action TV
UPDATE: Found the first video!
So I don't know what happened to my other posts, so I might as well make a new one. I've been trying to remember the names of these two educational videos we watched in elementary school, around the late 90's/early 2000's. One of them was about a group of kids who had a clubhouse where they'd meet to solve problems. Each of the kids had special hats, like one kid might have a propeller beanie, another a newsie cap, etc. and they each had nicknames. The clubhouse had a hatrack with their nicknames on it. One of the kids was this African American boy named Gator and another was a girl named Tracks/Trax. They would solve problems related to English grammar concepts, such as a kid trying to write a story using metaphor and hyperbole, or a girl writing poems using personification that literally turned objects into people. I remember that the girl named Tracks once had to learn about different story genres, so she wrote stories about the club in those genres (sci-fi, fantasy, myth, realistic fiction, etc.). The other series was about a group of kids who ran a sort of newspaper in what looked like an apartment, and being advised by Ms.Grammar, a woman who spoke to them through a computer screen. Anyone know of what these could be? I've been looking for them forever!
Edited by DaggerQuillopenCan't remember this kids tv show Sci

openWhat is the name of this kid's show?! Live Action TV
When I was very young, I watched a TV Show (Spanish speaking show, but I watched from America) and cannot find it! It is young kids show, I'm thinking usually for kids 5 and under. I believe it stars one young girl and an animal. Not a real animal, but I believe it was a mascot type of animal (I thought it was a bear, but I'm not sure). If you have ANY information that could help me find out what the show is, or at least get closer to finding it I would appreciate it. Thanks! ALSO: I watched this show in roughly the year 2000,
Edited by kaylasaucedaopenwinged people webcomic? Webcomic
- set on an island of winged people — the wings were feathered but magical, not biological
- there was a cold open featuring a blue-winged female character falling through a dark void as her wings dissolved, and eventually landing; no context was given as far as I read
- most characters wore red, spotted facepaint along their cheekbones
- the main character was a teenage boy who had been born without wings, who was very scientifically curious?
- this was some kind of rare, unlucky event; there was a special name for wingless people (that I can't recall)
- it was implied, right at the point where I lost track of it, that this kid was going to be subject to some kind of ritual as part of a festival — maybe sacrificed? it was left ominously vague
- there was an interlude to a group of wingless characters on a ship, I think it was a flying ship? they were headed to the island and their intentions seemed suspect, but very little was explained
- it updated really infrequently, like, twice a month or something
openDragon Age Fan Comic? Webcomic
It was a Fancomic about a warden from Dragon Age: Origins. I don't remember too much, but I know Alistair and Morrigan were in the party, and the Dog was also named Alistair. the Protagonist was a girl with white hair, and her father used blood magic to force her hand to slay her mother when she was a child. I think it was on deviantArt?
Edited by MysteriousKnight244openWebcomic set in Salt Lake City about Faeries Webcomic
It's a finished webcomic, it was beautiful, the main character was human and living in SLC, UT, and had some fire-background: her house had burnt down or something when she was younger? There were ghosts in it, and the Fae, and they could travel to Faerie via water, and near the end they used the Reflecting Pool of the Salt Lake temple to do so. Thanks.
openred thread children's programme 90's probably
I forgot the name of this children's show that I watched let's say 10 years ago. It's about a weird surreal world with flying objects in all sorts of shapes, some sort of obstacle course, and a little boy. There's a red thread or rope or something that this little boy is following all the way through the course. Maybe there's also a needle, I don't quite remember. I have been looking for this for ages. PLEASE. HELP.
open80s PBS Kids Show about a robot/spaceman? Anime
I think it was a spaceman or maybe a robot who landed or maybe crashed in a field and now has a tiny puppet mouse as a friend? I think the show was focused on math
openBritish, YA Fiction, Murder Mystery, Modern Western Literature
I can't remember the title or authors name but it read just like a cowboy Western but set in modern England. From what I remember the book is about two brothers who go and investigate the village where their sister was murdered to find out how she died and who murdered her so that the case will be closed, and her body released from the morgue so they can bury her. The village is basically the middle of nowhere very isolated surrounded by lots of thick heavy forests, farmland and empty flat plains that goes on for miles past the horizon, the landscape in the book is very well known for its dark, spooky, supernatural atmosphere and also some ancient funerary road. The younger brother has some kind of empathetic telepathy power that connects him to the emotions of other people (kinda like a aura detector?) which works best with those he cares for like how he had a vision of his sister walking alone in the dark to the bus station and he felt the presence of her killer following her even though he was hundreds of miles away. there was also this community living on the outskirts of the village in trailers that I think were said to be some variant of Romani because gypsy and Traveller were used as slurs and they weren't allowed into the village because of this. The brothers are half Traveller? on their dads side who is in jail for killing a pedophile. A girl from the Traveller group decided to help the brothers after they asked around for info since she recognized the older brother for fighting like their father who was a famous boxer(she eventually becomes the older brothers romantic interest) she also had a three legged small dog. The older brother was confrontational and aggressive in finding answers, the younger brother was more passive and more of a detective than the other, piecing together new evidence from what wasn't mentioned. As the story moved along it was revealed that the village was so desolate and abandoned because a shady group in the village was intimidating the residents to sell their land so they could get a bigger commission from the real estate company looking to build some retreat.
openEarly 2000's TV show Live Action TV
I'm trying to find this show I remember seeing as a kid, I'm gonna say around 2004-2005. It was live action, and was about a group of young boys and a group of young girls. If I'm remembering correctly, they had their own hideouts and always bothered each other. I remember one episode about the boys secretly going over to one of the girls sleepovers and putting a pea underneath one of their mattresses (like that tale). And another episode where two of them when on a date but there was some sort of drama. The kids were all young teenagers. This is a very bad description, but unfortunately it's all I remember.
openLive action/ animated movie I can't find. Film
When I was really young I saw part of this really weird movie, I don't remember what the story was or how much of the movie I watched. Anyways let me describe what I remember: the people where walking in the forest and these birds flew by, but the birds where animated in hand drawn animation, but everything else was live action, also somebody was looking a a picture and said something along the lines of "goodbye Santa" and the in the book had his face turn into a lion or something. Another thing worth mentioning is I think it was set in medieval times and there where defiantly some other scenes involving live action and animation together. Is this movie real, or did I just imagine it?
openBrush you with my fingertips...my soul... Music
There's this song in Zoey To The Max, near the beginning. The singer is female, and it had guitars in it. The rhyme scheme was AABB, and the only lines I know by heart are "Lead you to the water well", "Brush you with my fingertips", and "My soul". I think it's called "My Soul", but the movie failed to credit it. So I have no idea if it's an original song for its score or not.
openHe-man/D&D-esque commercial sketch Web Original
Tring to find a live action youtube video that starts with two boys playing with action figures in a commercial looking setting. They are then transported to a dark 80's He-man like world. One of the kids is vaporized by the Dark Overlord villain and the other is put in a dungeon with an old insane former hero. When the hero and the boy escape, the hero throws the boy in a sack and carries him away over his shoulder. I don't remember it being that long of a video, maybe 2-5 minutes.
It's a book about swordsmen and zombies (actually quite a serious book) in medieval Eastern Europe during the winter. Read it in English class in secondary school.
