openSong about wearing all my favourite brands? Music
My mother and auntie were discussing a song. I remember it went something like this:
- Auntie: "There was this song playing that was sort of a song about a party girl and I kinda liked it but some of the lyrics were badly-written. I remember one line went 'I'm wearing all my favourite brands, brands, brands. Everybody put your hands, hands, hands."Me: "Put your hands? That doesn't make sense"Auntie: "I think they said 'in the air' afterwards"Mother: "I have about twelve favourite brands, and six of them are food brands. How could I be wearing all of them?"
openOld school themed rpg on Steam Videogame
I remember a couple years ago seeing this new but old school themed RPG on Steam. It was a first person rpg somewhat like The Elder Scrolls but I don't know anything about the plot. It had kind of old looking graphics. Anyway it looked really cool but I can't remember the name of any. Anyone help?
openKid's Horror Series Live Action TV
I'm looking for a kid's horror series I used to watch as a kid (In the late 90s, early 2000s, about). Each episode told a stand-alone creepy story. It was animated. All I remember is that every story started with something like "It happened to a friend of a friend of mine" and the end credits were either a picture of a diner or maybe a manhole and maybe there was like green light or smoke or something.
openOhmygod Film
So there was this cartoon show when I was like 4-8 (posting this as a 12 year old), and I was positive it was Mission Impossible, but I can't find any trace of it? So pretty much there were these two people, a guy and a girl, the girl had like orange/red hair. (I forgot entirely about the guy's appearance). But I do know that one of them had like a ferret thing? This probably isn't enough information but if anyone knows, thanks!
openLooking for an old (80s-90s) comedy TV show?
I was a little kid when I was watching this with my family, but I remember quite a few elements. The basic plot was that the main character's sister is somehow famous. For whatever reason the main character had to start dressing as his sister and pretending that he's her. Over the course of the show the character is fooling everybody, but the "bad guys" get a plan to foil him. They try to give him hormones or some such, but they end up giving them to the character's sister instead. The last episode ended with the sister's husband taking the sister to the main character's house and we see that the sister has become a man. The main character laughs and that's how the show ends.
Not sure if the show was even American. Could have been either Italian or Latino.
openLooking for a fighting game character... and which fighting game they're from. Videogame
There's one fighting game character I'm thinking of that I can't remember the origin, name or even looks.
The only clue I have is that they do a sweep (not sure if it's a sweep?) that is like twirling one (or two?) yo-yos in front of them from their waist to about 1/3 screen length on the ground.
Also, I'm not sure if it's yo-yos, it could just be martial arts ki manipulation, dunno. The yo-yos/energy balls could be pink. And it's definitely not Guilty Gear's Bridget.
openGypsy kids ? Live Action TV
I really don't have much to go off here...really sorry! But there's a show that I can't remember the name Of for the life of me! I used to watch a show where (and I can't remember a lot) but there was a group of gypsy ish kids and they would ride around with adults on these big gypsy ish carts and would encounter things like ambushes? I remember one scene where they get in a sort of illusion and think they're eating things like strawberries and chocolate but it turns out to be worms????
openAn ooooold grimdark Hamtaro fanfic. Web Original
Chances are slim to none I'll ever, ever find this, but I have to try dammit! I vividly remember an old Hamtaro fanfic where Cappy accidentally stabs Bijou with a prop knife while attempting to perform a magic trick. All the hamsters then freak out and think he's a murderer. The fic was not particularly long and might have even been hosted on a forum somewhere. In retrospect it was pretty damn hilarious and I'd like to find it again if anyone recognizes it.
openSlacker doesn't know what Stoning is. Live Action TV
I think it was TV, but it could have been a film. Some drug addict or hippy finds themselves in the past, or the middle east and is warned to behave or get stoned, to which they say they'd like it. Then they are asked "You want to be buried up to your neck and then have people throw stones at you?" I'm sure I've seen it but can't remember what it was in.
openEuro Trance Song; video featured marching women in matching retro styled costumes Music
I remember the video featured marching women in matching retro styled sci-fi or Metropolis type costumes, a lot of pan sweeps, a lot of the color blue. The lyrics featured imagery about how time keeps going around. The song appeared on a Pandora station based off of Cascada which I made in 2011, so the song may have been from sometime between 2009 and 2012.
Any help identifying this would be appreciated!
(and it definitely is not "Destination Calabria")
openNineties TV - fictional escape? Live Action TV
So, this is a long shot due to very blurry memories, but... British TV show in the mid/late 90s, set around contestants in an arena, trying to overcome objectives. It wasn't a reality show like the Crystal Maze or Knightmare, it was a fictional serial drama, but very much the same setting. Inside the 'arena', people were trying to break out/cheat the system, and the objectives were being interfered with by outside influence. The main villain was an old guy with a white beard and a pet ferret/ferret sized animal... There was also a man in a purple coat and mask, who tried to kill contestants as they finished... So, fictional series set in an arena, trying to beat objectives, with a white-bearded villain and a purple-masked killer... Any ideas?? Any??
openMid 90s to early 2000s educational puppet show? Live Action TV
Mid 90s to early 2000s educational puppet show. With one character named Annie (i think) and maybe a talking hermit crab. I thought it was called Razzmatazz, but When I tried to find it on the internet nothing looked right. They had a tree house. I can hear the theme song tune in my head, but I don't remember all the words. I think it started " Come on over to our tree house we've got some some things to do!" This has been bugging me for a while lol
openClown show from the 2000s Film
That claymation show witht the creepy circus/clowns aired in the early 2000s. Mightve been a Canadian show.
openVegetable Laboratory Mummy... Thing Book Literature
Need two books:
1. (SOLVED: MILLION DOLLAR SHOT) A boy enters a free throw competition. Large money prize. I think he needs it to help his family or something. He gets nervous as the competition gets nearer and has trouble hitting free throws until someone (a girl I think) shows him how to calm himself by taking the shot with his eyes closed. I don't think it's Free Throw by Jacqueline Guest. I read it before 2002. It's really bugging me.
2. These two kids find a mummy in the back room of some lab that they clean during the summer. Both boys. One is the narrator and he complains about some "look" his friend always gives him that makes him laugh. Even when he can't see it (like at his sister's piano recital). This one I read in 2002, it is probably older, though. So, yeah... Two boys, mummy, a "look". Please and thank you.
Edited by MUTEscifan31WopenMADD Poster
I've been trying to find a specific Mothers Against Drunk Driving poster from maybe the early 2000's, but it might be older. I can't remember what it said, but it had a red tricycle with a MADD ribbon tied to it and a teddy bear lying in a road. It's implying that a little kid got hit by a drunk driver.
I cant remember the name of an animated series that was on netflix a while ago. It was about a victorian girl who got in trouble alot, and in one episode she ruined her doll's hair on accident trying to curl it i think. And i think her parents die by the end.
