funny co parenting show Live Action TV
I’m trying to find out this show that I’ve only seen one episode of. In this episode, a separated couple were discussing/arguing about the right preschool/elementary school to send their daughter to. The dad, who was very prim and proper and slightly effeminate, wanted to send his daughter to this very prestigious school that he described as a direct link to harvard and the oval office (or something of the sorts). The mom, who was more go with the flow, wanted to send their daughter to a chill play and learn school. In this scene, the dad was using flashcards and food to try and get his daughter to study for the school interview. In this scene she also completely wiped out. Later in the episode at the interview, the parents get to watch through a one sided window. Their daughter makes all of the children revolt, which results in none of the children being accepted into the school. In the end the dad realizes that it’s better to let his daughter be a kid. Thanks in advance.
An episode of a live action show [Solved] Live Action TV
I don't remember the show's name or the episode, but there are two women in a supermarket. They are having a conversation when one of them accidentally outs herself publicly as gay when she hits the button on the conveniently-placed PA system. She even says it: "I'm gay," right as she hits it.
Can someone please tell me that show and episode?
Edited by Teenlyokofan7777(Still Unsolved!) Asian Romance show on Netflix Live Action TV
Sorry this will be pretty long-winded because I’ve tried to find it multiple times and no one seems to know.
This is a show I watched on Netflix probably 3ish years ago. I’m fairly certain it isn’t on there anymore because I’ve tried to find it and I can’t. It was an Asian (Korean I think? Maybe Japanese? I can’t remember) romance show that centered around three girls and their separate romances. The girls were best friends.
The main girl was a student, and had her romance with a fellow student who was secretly a famous musician (I think his stage name started with a W?) and they had a sort of “I hate you but secretly I like you” thing going on. I think she was forced to work with him for the class. One scene with them I remember in particular is when she suddenly got sick with food poisoning and he took her back to his apartment so she could diarrhea with nothing but a foldout divider separating them, then he went and bought her stomach medicine. At some point she found out about his secret and he ended up taking her to this house he was shooting a music video at. He also had some weird lust-y side romance with a famous artist. I think he started getting close to the main girl but at some point they stop talking for maybe a year, for what reason I can’t remember (probably start of season 2). She had a baby she had to take care of sometimes (I think her sisters baby?) and he would continually confront her and try to convince her to give him the time of day. The last scene I can remember with them is them on a rooftop together.
One of the other girls is an office worker. She was very stressed and pressured a lot for one reason or another, so she started going to get massages. I believe it was a family owned place, and she found her romance in her masseuse. He was always very sweet and would give her roses, and I think he walked her home a few times.
The other girl was the train wreck friend. She had a history of dating musicians who were on tour and going on the tour bus with them, then getting left behind once they got bored with her. She had finally moved on from that and said she wanted to date someone seriously. She started working as an assistant to a director on a movie set. She quickly fell head over heels in love for the leading man, who was a very serious older guy, and was supposed to be a pretty big deal and a great actor. I think maybe he had been out of the business for a bit and this movie was him coming back, if I remember right. She would keep trying to impress him and get his attention by doing tasks for him, meanwhile not doing the rest of her job very well.
There was also some side-story happening with a girl who I think might have been the main girls sister. I think she found out her husband had been cheating on her and she confronted his mistress, but I can’t remember what came of it.
That’s officially everything I can remember from that show. I think maybe the title had something to do with a tree or a flower but I could be totally wrong. If anyone has any idea I would be so grateful. I’d like to close by saying it wasn’t a good show at all, but it holds a special place in my heart and I’d really like to find it for some nostalgia. Thanks for your time!
Edited by SellyStew90s British Children's TV fantasy Live Action TV
I am hoping someone can help me identify this show:
- British children’s TV drama, early to mid-90s. Live-action fantasy, with a similar vibe to BBC’s Elidor. - Set in a modern-day village where a long time ago there was a big fire that had burned so hot a stone building had set on fire. The ruins are in the village. The cause of the fire is a mystery. The one surviving witness of the fire is an old lady who is deaf and blind. - There’s a mysterious gold mask, which may have magical properties, locked away in a cabinet. I recall the mask looking a bit like the famous Sutton Hoo Saxon helmet. It may have originally been kept in the stone building that burned down – I’m not sure about that. - There’s a sinister businessman in a suit who is up to something. He either has possession of the mask or he's trying to steal it. - The lead characters are children around the age of 11. It’s possible they are staying in the village on their school holidays.
I only ever saw part of the first episode, which is why my memory is so hazy. I think it was on ITV but I could be wrong. Thanks for any help!
Woman karate chops a guy Live Action TV

So I've watched this a while back, realizing the actress but not knowing her name, I saved the video and tried to search for her on the web, didn't find anything. In this specific scene she's helping her friend (I think?) against some suspicious guy luring on some girls in a bathroom. Then she chops his neck and knocks him out flat.
I think its French, but I saw it dubbed to English if I recall correctly.
Does any of you know her name? of the name of the show? Thanks.
"Leave it to Beaver" meets "Men in Black." Live Action TV
I saw the first episode of this show on Netflix a long time ago, but I can't find any record of its existence. It's set in a small American town in the late 1950s or early 60s, and follows an ordinary kid who gets wrapped up in extraterrestrial happenings and government conspiracies. I seem to recall the word "Green" in the title, but I could be wrong.
It's a fairly recent series. I'd say it was probably made sometime between the late 2000s and mid 2010s.
some obscure scene from an american show Live Action TV
i have no idea what it's from but i can picture this one scene where these gay guys want a hotel room and the person setting up the reservation says "2 queens?" and one of the guys has a semi-confused, semi-somewhat offended sort of look the other dude holds his hand in front of his partner as to stop him or get his attention and says "he's talking about the beds" and the other guy chills
idk what it's from but all i know is that it's american and live action
?? Live Action TV
Hi! So the show was probably around 2000s-2010s and it was real people (not cartoon). My brother watched it and I think it was made more for boys... I have a feeling it was about skateboarding (not Zeke and Luther) or about blowing stuff up/challenges (??)... I do think there were two boys on the show and one of them was definitely named Ollie (or Olly- not sure on the spelling). The boys were probably tween/teens. I also have this weird feeling that it was on a similar channel to Mythbusters/had a similar theme. I know this is super vague but if you have any idea please put it down thank you!!
No Title Live Action TV
I'm pretty sure it was a E4 show. The main characters where a awkward guy and a more edgy/gothy girl who loved in a trailer park . The guy liked the girl and it was hinted at the girl like him back. These was this swimmer with lesbian parents who pressured him into swimming. He was also having sex with the edgy girl. In one episode she had to get an abortion and the guy went there with her and she like gave this woman pudding but she complained about it being chocolate. Sorry if this is a mess I only remember snippets
UK Drama Live Action TV
A young person dies of cancer in a small town, the parents believe it has something to do with an electricity pylon being built next to their house. It is later found out that the child had been playing/exploring in a tunnel where a military train had crashed and burned, releasing a dangerous nuclear payload into the surrounding area, this was the source of the child's illness. I also remember some part about an area closed off by the British Army for training purposes, but it was actually them attempting to hide the accident.
A British historical drama? Live Action TV
It was an historical series, possibly set in the time of the English Civil War. Like By The Sword Divided.
A treacherous female family member was being tortured with a device like a thumbscrew. She is eventually banished to work in the castle or house laundry as punishment.
Kodak (I think) Commercial Live Action TV
I saw this TV commercial on You-tube when I was watching blocks of commercials. I cannot remember which one I saw it on, but I think it was a late 90s - 00s one. I remember this hilarious comment with this young brown haired boy and his mom and dad (cannot remember what they looked like). As it turns out, footage of him in his early years was either deleted accidentally or lost, and his parents shoot either Kodak pictures or record him imitating those years. They did not put him in diapers or anything. I cannot remember the footage they took, but one included having him in a bathtub with a rubber duck. He then explains why towards the camera. As strange as this sounds, it was actually hilarious, does anyone know what I am talking about? I am trying to find it, but no luck. Please, any help on this would truly be appreciated, thank you.
Buried In Concrete With Nose Sticking Out Live Action TV
It was an episode in the "Law & Order" franchise, and the fermale detective had relatives in the construction biz, and at some point they go to a construction site and realize a corpse's nose is poking out of the concrete. The male detective may have been Mike Logan.
From my misspent youth Live Action TV
This was a game show with a horse-race theme. The final round was a lottery-style ping-pong ball selector, and the bonus round was a single die rolling game where one of the sides of the die had a spade symbol on it.
It was NOT Celebrity Sweepstakes.
Body part swapping Live Action TV
It was an early 2000's live action kids show. I think it was on Fox Family, but serchechs there haven't found it. This "kid" with a missing dad gets transported (I think across the galaxy) and joins a rag tag group in a rebellion. His father had been there & was important. The main gimmick was a limb swap power, there was a robot that was once a man. I think it was called something like Galador (but searches show nothing)
Possible Sci-fi fantasy series Live Action TV
I had seen one episode of this show on TV quite a few years ago now, and cannot remember what it's called for the life of me. It was a live action show that was taking place in what looked like a snowy area (but that detail could be me misremembering). There was a war going on between these two dudes that I guess were previously in love or something, because this blonde girl (who I assume is one of the shows main characters) yelled at one of them, saying: "You started a war over a broken heart?" or something like that. And then later on it showed both guys kissing, resolving the issue. I don't know if that was the end of the episode because I had fallen asleep sometime after that, so my memories are a little hazy. Also the setting of the show sorta looked medieval.
Now I could be wrong, but the show from what I could tell was a sort of sci-fi fantasy, because I think this was a smaller story arc that was happening because the blonde girl and a few other characters ended up in the midst of that war and just got involved.
This could be wrong but I think it might be the case, and might be helpful in finding what the show was.
No Title Live Action TV
It's a TV show. Someone named Steve gets murdered. Steve has a brother named Ben. There are lesbians, but they're not the main characters. There's a character named Judy, and someone says "WWJD- what would Judy do?" And yeah, sorry my knowledge is so scattered.
No Title Live Action TV
I believe it’s an American or perhaps British comedy show. I cannot remember the plot for the life of me, but I remember the side character (?) singing at a garden party I think. The woman who sings is a short very busty lady who with brown hair, who usually dresses in very pink / noticeable clothes. She sings with her (ex?) husband, who looks a lot like Nelson Franklin I think. They don’t really get along, but they sorta connect during the song? It’s not a very popular show I think - since I can’t find it. I’m looking for it specifically for the singing part, because it was surprising how both the “normal” looking actors had amazing voices.
Also I don’t think it’s that old - probably around 2015-2017, but I’m not 100% sure
It’s not a lot to go after, the biggest hint is that the guy singing looks like Nelson Franklin lol
Edited by Yasmin9494(SOLVED) British Mafia Show Live Action TV
I watched a clip of this show a year ago or so, and in it, some mafia don discovers that his bride-to-be had been physically abusing his young son. He turns white as a sheet when he sees the massive bruises on him and he corners her in a room and asks her what she’s done. She nervously asks what is he talking about while walking around a pool table, and then runs out of the building. Before he leaves his son asks him not to marry her or something. He chases her across streets and he manages to catch her on a rooftop and tries to tell her not to jump. I think she said, “Watch me, daddy!” Before jumping on their honeymoon car. It doesn’t show her jumping, it just focuses on the dude as he closes his eyes. I really like this show but I forgot its name and I would love to know it again.
Edited by CrispCherryA few episodes of some supernatural mystery-type show, potentially different shows Live Action TV
I just had a flashback to my childhood and remembered episodes of some sort of supernatural show in the vein of Unsolved Mysteries or Beyond Belief. The stories were presented as real events but suggested there may have been an alternate explanation. I remember three in particular, might not have all been from the same series, but all were probably mid-90s or very early 2000s: 1. A teenage girl had some sort of interactions with a ghost- at one point she's sleeping on the couch and wakes up to see an indent on another piece of furniture like someone's sitting there, then it moves like the ghost got up. Later, a hooded figure tries to burn her house down, but they reveal that it's actually the girl and imply she was possessed. 2. Another possession one- all I remember is there was a woman who was possessed and she was driving her son to a family get together, but gave him a death glare the entire trip and never once looked at the road while she was driving. Someone made lemonade out of holy water, but I don't know much else. 3. Probably the most vague, but it involved two guys in a basement when they're surprised by some sort of phantom in a hood. I don't recall it actually doing anything except floating above them, but the two guys were yelling things at it, asking what it wanted and telling it to stay back.
Pretty sure an ep of L&O:SVU Live Action TV
Hi, I'm pretty sure I'm looking for an episode of law and order:svu, because the crime committed was sexual assault. Essentially, they find the guy from dna, but it turns out it was his twin, who was separated from him as infants, that did it. They don't know how to prove which twin did it though, because they have the same dna and it comes down to, I think, a partial fingerprint proving which one did it. Thanks in advance!
TV drama about Ancient Britain and the Roman Invasion of 43AD Live Action TV
Can anyone tell me the name of the following show, set in Ancient Britain and about the Celtic tribes, the Druids and the Roman Invaders of 43AD. It had a 9 episode first season, was written for the post-watershed market (ie for mature audiences), and I know it was written by a British writer in 2016. It had a 90 minute (approx) first episode, featuring the following:
Starts with a cold opening: there’s an eccentric looking middle aged Celtic man (who we later find out is on a mission Rome) - he’s featured in a scene with a bird - and there’s another scene with prisoners (several of their scarred and dirty faces flicker in and out the flames); one of the prisoner’s is then forced to step forward and interrogated by an inquisitive Roman General based (in part) on the real life Roman General Aulus Plautius. The prisoner then has to go on a journey with the general.
After the titles (which had a modern pop/folk song) the main narrative starts, with the young Celtic hero, on the cusp of adulthood, (their name was Ca… something), introduced alone and looking out for something in the distance, before running through fields to their family. It’s the eve of an important festival, and the young Celt is due to go through a rite of passage that night. There’s an issue about their attendance and they get words of support from an elder female relative (Ela or Islene?), who talks about her first time at the festival.
Later on, the young hero goes through that rite of passage, when they’re standing in a field around a barrel with a group of other teens. They get intoxicated, after which they wander round the festival site in an altered state and the hero has an encounter with a mysterious figure holding a staff, who stops and stares at them. There was some sort of issue with their name and it all goes badly for them (they don’t make it back to their tent).
They do, however, make a new friend that night, who they share a troubled relationship with. The friend is described as some sort of cast out. And the next day the hero follows the cast out character into a forest, where they get threatened by a perverted looking character (I think they wanted to take their virginity), before being saved by their new friend.
Elsewhere in the show there’s an issue with the young hero’s tribe (Cassi or Cantii?) and the Regini or Regni (?) tribe, prior to a wedding taking place. A plan for peace between the two tribes is discussed. The wedding specifically takes place in the borders (remember reading that part) and is set in or by a tree circle (the young hero isn’t featured). There’s an ambush featuring riders who emerge from the forest, the groom gets slaughtered and a Gaul (totally fictitious as I recall) slays the priestess. The bride survives unharmed, but gets captured by the Gaul and held as a temporary prisoner.
I remember the first episode also features a scene where a Celtic prisoner is led in chains across a field towards a Roman prison wagon. Inside that wagon he is shown chained up, his taut body naked to his trousers; he has scars and bruises and Celtic tattoos. He’s shown inside the wagon to be visibly worried about his missing family members. As the wagons roll off, it’s revealed to be surrounded by a cohort of Roman foot soldiers, and is led by the Aulus Plautius character, who wants to learn more about British culture, and the more authoritarian Vespian or Vespasian (?). The latter is seen barking orders to his troops before riding off, ahead of them.
Other things I remember in the first episode: there’s a scene featuring a British antagonist, Ver-something, and a threat is made in front of him involving the removal of another character’s eyes. There’s a character who wakes up as they’re being dragged through the woods (gagged and with their hands and feet bound in rope) before they escape. And there’s also a scene featuring a character who overhears a conversation being held by the druids, as they’re sat around drinking a special herbal tea.
Any ideas?

Anthology Horror TV Show Live Action TV
I saw that show as a child around 1992-1993 but it could be from the late 80s. It started in a creepy dark mansion. The host was sitting in a dark room close to a fireplace drinking red wine. It was an old man with long thin white hair (bald on top) a long nose and long yellow nails. I remember a plate of broccoli on a table nearby (?) and maybe a dog lying next to the man. There were two stories in the episode and it cut back to the host in between stories. I only saw one episode. As a child I found it really scary but in retrospect it was probably just campy. What I remember from the stories: 1) A man can never be mean or can never lie or something terrible will happen. He has a crush on a woman at work and he asks her out but things don't work out. I vaguely remember that it ended in a plot twist where the woman couldn't be mean or lie either. One of them ends up exploding. 2) Something about an evil cabbage patch kid doll (a very common trope, so not super useful). I've looked up horror anthology shows but none really match my memories, especially regarding the host.
