openGame with an intro where a dinosaur kills someone Videogame
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend. Here is what he said:
"It was a very simple memory really, it's a friend I used to visit in the 90s, I'm fairly sure this was on the N64 though I have looked into other consoles of the time since. He was showing the games he had and he had one in particular that his parents didn't let him play until he was older, I assume he got it on like a thrift sale and they didn't check, but then later when he booted it up and they saw him they figured he couldn't play it yet
Anyways
I was so curious and I asked him to boot it up anyways because I wanted to see, he was reluctant at first because he said that it scared him on top of his parents not letting him playing it, but I eventually convinced him to just let me peek, he didn't have to see
He turned it on, it may have gone through the usual company logo or whatever. What I remember next was some sorta dark room, looked kinda like a damp cave
It was not very well illuminated, kinda poor textures that seem a lot like something from PS 1 or N64 age
And the camera was on one of the corners of the room, facing against one of the walls
You could see the shadow of what looked like some sorta monster, but it really looked like a dinosaur and what I believe was a person
And the camera was just panning around the room, though you couldnt really see the person. It showed the wall shadows a bit and then it looked like the "dinosaur" suddenly attacked the person while he screamed
I watched that a bit and then he shut off the console suddenly being all like "See? I told you it was too scary" and I just kinda nodded and agreed even though I didn't think it was THAT violent, just a bit disturbing
There may have been some blood. Then we went on to eat some food or whatever lol"
He said he thought for sure it was Turok, but he can't find the intro anywhere. Since then, he said he's looked up the intros for tons of games from the n64, PS 1 and other but can't find it. He said he thinks it might have been a dream, but that it's so vivid he could recreate it on a 3d program if given the chance.
openOld Superman story Print Comic
This is an old Superman comic, published before the 90s. It might have been in the 60s, 70s or 80s. An old man in an isolated community tells stories about a fictional character he's made up, called "Superman". What he doesn't know, unlike almost everybody else, is that Superman actually exists, and that every story he tells is a real adventure that Superman actually has experienced. At the end, the old storyteller meets Superman who's right in the middle of an important mission (to stop a bomb, I seem to remember), and the storyteller has to come up with a story where Superman gets it done and saves everybody.
resolved Artists collaboration and competition to create story Webcomic
I once saw a website where a lot (> 20) artists did collaborate to create a story of a giant world where every artist created their own character.
Every week 2 artists had to draw the encounter of their 2 created characters and had to draw how this encounter concluded. Then the work of one of the two artists were selected to be canon.
On the website there was a giant map as a overview and you were able to view all the created versions of the webcomics.
resolved Small girl waits in her haunted room. Videogame
I remember a gameplay video of an indie game where a small girl was supposed to wait in her room for her parent to come home. But the room was haunted or something and depending on your interactions with it, there were different outcomes.
The graphics were minimalistic, looked like hand-drawn and the environment was mostly white.
openAn episode from an old bulldog, cat and mouse cartoon (Not Tom and jerry) (FOUND!!!) Western Animation
From what I remember, the episode goes like this:
There was this mouse and cat in a house fighting, and then the mouse challenges the cat to go stand up to the dog outside in the backyard. The cat accepts.
The dog is under his dog house chewing on a bone in a bowl, when the cat slowly approached the dog talking to him trying to confront him and act tough. The dog got mad once, and the cat ran away and climbed on top of the backyard door really quickly. The cat tried to confront the dog again, talking to him a second time and the dog scared the cat again and the cat, again, ran and climbed up on top of the backyard door.
When the cat tried to approach the dog a 3rd time, the cat accidentally slammed the bowl into the dog's face (the bowl had some sort of liquid in it that splashed into the dog's face). The dog (bulldog btw) got really mad, got up and was about to chase the cat. The backyard door that the cat used as refuge slammed shut from the wind and when the cat tried to run away again to climb on top of it, he got up in the air, noticed that the door was not there anymore, dropped down and then continued running into the house.
The dog ran after him and the nail that held his leash to the ground detached from the ground setting him free. The dog chased the cat into the house. During this part of the cartoon, the camera remains outside the house following the movements of the dog and the cat from behind the wall. Only the footsteps of the dog and cat can be heard from outside. They both run up the stairs and into a room until they reach a dead end where the dog eventually catches up to the cat and beats him up. I remember the dead end being a flat wall with a blue, opaque circular window on the side!
The cat, after being beaten up by the dog the first time, runs back from the dead end and towards it again. The dog beats up the cat again. Breaking glass and meowing can be heard as the dog is beating up the cat. The same thing happens a few more times before the scene fades out. Then, the camera shows the mouse sitting on a pillow chilling. The camera then zooms out to show the cat standing above the mouse with a few injuries, especially a rope holding his arm up from being broken. The cat was looking down at the mouse with an angered expression. The cat was resting his head on his hand when he was looking down at the mouse waiting before trying to attack the mouse for setting him up to get beaten up by the dog.
This is as far as I can remember.

A few additional details from memory (could be wrong):
- I'm not too sure but I remember the mouse being sort of skinny. - Both the mouse and cat were talking. I vividly remember they had a texas accent and talked sort of slowly. The bulldog never spoke. He only growled and barked (especially when chasing the cat). - The animation wasn't as good as that of tom and jerry or loony toons. It was a pretty old cartoon. It wasn't a black and white cartoon though, not like betty boop (for example). - I remember the cat being either orange or black (no not Sylvester, again it was a not-so-well-known cartoon.) - I remember the entrance of the house that the dog and cat ran into had a very short flight of steps at the front door. - I remember the dog being close to the colors of beige or yellow. (I might be wrong) - I remember the walls of the house that the chase happened in were white. (Might be wrong)
I tried to ask Chat GPT to identify the episode, and he recommended some cartoons such as "Herman and Katnip", but I looked through most of their episodes and none of them were the ones I'm looking for. I even tried to ask Snapchat AI and even he didn't find it.
Please help me find this episode, I have been looking for it for ages desperate to know the name. If there are any questions, or any additional details you are trying to look for, please let me know. Will be forever grateful to the one that finds the name!
Edited by JustsomeuseropenSong from the late 2000s Music
I remember a song that was trending on the radio between 2007 and 2009. Looking through billboard charts and couldn't find what it was. A guy was singing about how he's playing with his band in a garage or basement but he was upbeat about life. He'd also mentioned his girlfriend was in the other room doing laundry or something. Anyone with any idea what this is?
openScary Hospital Promo(?) Live Action TV
I apologize if this isn't enough detail.
Back in 2010-2011, there was this commercial that scared me as a kid, which I think was a promo to a show or something. It had a narrator talking about ways doctors "change the way patients behave" and it had visuals of hospital patients screaming, one of which seeming to have two vertical cuts at either side of their nose.
This is a vague memory, but I highly doubt it was something my brain made up, because my young mind wouldn't have generated something this twisted.
openweird 2000's cartoon
I remember this TV show. It was live action but there was a disembodied CGI head that was green and had a tongue that looked like a spring, which had an eye on. It spat eyes. I remember that I was about 6, but im 12 now. It was creepy but wasnt intentional. Also, I think the head spun around. He was a reoccurring villain too. That's all I remember.
openNo Title Literature
Swedish novel, which I believe I read for school. The characters were school children, probably early teenagers. The main character was named Erik, he was in love with a girl named Pia but she didn't like him at all. He admired some Swedish athlete, might have been a skier but unsure about that, who had a famous catchprase I cannot recall (wasn't Stenmark, though). He once got said athlete's autograph with a dedication to Pia, who in response took it and burned it to show she wasn't interested. Took place not quite in the modern day, but at least in the later half of the 1900's, probably 70's-80's.
Not that I especially want to read it again, but not being able to remember the name of the book or said athlete and his catchphrase is driving me absolute nuts...
openNo Title Videogame
I had a children's game about 15 years ago. I can't remember the exact OS, but it was windows and couldn't have been newer than XP. I had two installments of this 'franchise'. It was a point and click game, but each screen was another 'scene', so you could only move forward.
Each installment started with a brother and sister with their grandfather. They were anthropomorphic, and were either rabbits or mice. One installment started with them making pasta sauce in a kitchen, and another with them eating ice cream on a park bench. The grandfather would then start telling a story.
The first story was about a princess who had no interest in princessly things, much to the dismay of her father (I remember there was a scene in a garden where they sang, and her father said "Why don't you join the other girls? They're putting on a play!"). At one point she asks her father to learn to use a sword, and possibly a violin? (in this scene they were watching people make wine, which her father offered to teach her. At the prospect of learning swordplay, her father said something about a sewing needle instead). She goes on an adventure, which I think was to rescue a prince? I remember she encountered a chubby cartoony dragon with two heads and bib. At the end she gets married and she and her husband go off on an adventure on a magic carpet.
The second story was of a boy. It started with him and his family in their house, and the mother was making pies. She placed a pie on an open windowsill to cool, and a witch came and ate the pie. She then insisted on staying in the house, eating all the pies she wanted unless they told her a story she'd never heard before, which was far easier said than done. So the boy went on a journey to find such a story. I remember there was one part where he slept under a tree, which turned out to be home to fairies. Eventually he returns home and tell the story of his adventures to the witch, who promptly leaves.
I can't remember many details other than that, but I'd love to find this game, cause it seems pretty nice, from what I remember.
Edited by xrainxofxbloodxresolved Two TV Shows I Can't Remember which keep on bugging me for ages Live Action TV
I am looking for two shows that I remember watching when I was very young, but I can't remember what they are for the life of me.
1) A classic TV sitcom (sometime between the 1960s and late 1980s) with one episode having a scene in which a woman dressed in a blue dress and a bonnet falls in water whether by falling or being pushed into the water from a fight with another person indoors at a mall or at a party somewhere. Also, I think she may have fallen into a shallow fountain.
2) An early 2000s (short-lived, I think) children's TV show somewhat similar to Sesame Street (I think it was on either PBS, Nickelodeon, etc.) with puppets (both hand puppets and life-size walkaround puppets) and 2D animation. One episode includes kids (in either P Js or regular clothes) dance-sitting holding a toy (either teddy bears or a boat) in a classroom in front of a blue tarp or sheet held on by two of the mentioned "life-size walkaround puppets". NOTE: the whole song is played the first time; the second time is the same thing, but the video quickly fades to black and the credits roll while the song is still playing.
I have been searching for these topics for my entire life, and I still can not find anything. I remember watching them when I was in Gadsden. This is bugging me ever since, and I want to know what these two shows are.
Edited by bradleyangle@129openCartoon involving a boy and a cat Western Animation
Be warned, this one is going to be incredibly vague. When I was about four years old (that's twenty years ago) I saw this animated series about a young boy. It had no spoken text, just music. The intro sequence (but it may have been the outro) involved the boy stacking up crates and flying away in an airplane. There was also a cat around. One episode I remember involved the boy taking care of a baby bird and later helping it migrate. The aforementioned cat followed them all over the world because it wanted to eat the bird.
Edited by AlbertosaurusopenA late 90s or early 2000s anime I think Anime
I saw this show as a kid on ADULT SWIM, and I have been trying to find it since and I've had no luck. The scene I remember was a fight between a large muscular man with a crew cut vs. a swift moving man in a trench coat(I think) with hair that came down to about neck level. The man in the trench coat ends up disarming the larger man of his pipe he aquired earlier and shoves it through the larger mans shoulder and the wall behind him, leaving him stuck. The man in the trench coat now proceeds to commend his foe for there duel and says something along the lines of "you may have even won had my ability to not feel pain not given me an edge" or something to that effect. The screen then cuts to a girl(I think) and a robot that moves on wheels that seems to be a pet like creature... I really need to know what this show or movie is! SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!!!!
openProbably won't work
I've asked this a whole bunch of times by now, but I do wait a while before asking again so I feel like it isn't bad. Besides, I do really want to know. There's a song by Johnny Cash, When the man comes around, that is redone by a woman with a beautiful voice. I believe she was British, but. It's entirely possible that I'm wrong. My phone had a picture of her from the chin down on the (album cover?) t came up every time I opened the song anyway. T was the single greatest song I've ever heard.
openShow when I was a child
All I can remember is a fox or a kid being in a room with stacks and stacks of books. He would pick one to read and as he reads it a vortex opens from the pages and he gets sucked into being a part of that story. I think he has to resolve some conflict before being allowed to go back to his world. Not the page master.
openOld Lullaby My Mom Sang Me Music
Okay so I honestly doubt that you guys will be able to find anything, but lately it's been making me sad so here we go. I think you wont find anything because I fear that my mother might have made it up herself. My mom (who has past away about 8 years ago) used to sing to me a lullaby when I was a kid. I cannot remember the tune at all, and barely any lyrics. All I can remember is that it is talking about a tropical forest, with "rainbows over the waterfall" and also talking about "Toucans" somewhere in there. That's all I can remember... my mom was alive for about 50 years, so around 60 today, to give a time frame for when she could've heard the song (assuming it exists). She was also 1/2 Mexican, with a fully Mexican mother living in California, and loved to listen to Mexican music, so it is VERY possible that she might have heard a Spanish song and sang the translated lyrics to me. She used to sing this to me when I was very young, presumably since I was a newborn up until about 7ish, so 1998 - 2005ish. I'm not sure if it exists, but any help would be appreciated! I can't ask her herself, since she has unfortunately died, and I wish that I had this thing to remember her by, as my memories of her are very fuzzy.
openGreen jacket detective Anime
It has been killing me for about 5 years. I was watching this show in early 2000's but im not sure when was it made. It's about some kind of DETECTIVE. I believe he had a GREEN JACKET and some kind of a HAT (maybe kangool, its popular in great britany, hooligans use to wear them). I was about 5-6 years at the time and i can't remember any kind of details anymore so i understand if no one can help. Have a good day
openPlease help me, it's really bugging me, would really appreciate it
It's an early 2000s to programme from the uk, (real life) there is a gang of boys ,whose base is in a big hangar with lots of graffiti, the boys are putting their dads against each other and they make them do challenges ( for example dads will have to drink a disgusting drink or do an assault course whilst getting eggs and other things thrown at them). The final had something to do with the losing dad having to jump off of a bridge in his pants.

I remember reading this one graphic novel as a kid. I don’t remember what it was called, but I do remember many specific details about it:
