openAnimated Show About Mozart (SOLVED) Western Animation
So, a while ago I watched this Edutainment Show starring a teenaged Mozart. The theme song started with "Wolfgang Amadeus you better watch out!" and it was about Mozart being menaced by this... guy, who I think was totally made up by the show's creators. I saw two episodes:
In the first one, the guy challenged Mozart to a competition where some random audience member would sing a tune and they'd have to transcribe the notes down. Except, at the end of the competition, when they look at Mozart's paper, it's blank. This turns out to be because the bad guy secretly swapped Mozart's normal writing inkwell (remember Mozart lived back in the era of quill pens and inkwells) with one that held *invisible ink*. In the second one, Mozart is going on a trip with his family, but the bad guy secretly switches the signs at the dock, and Mozart ends up getting on a different boat than his family. I think it gets solved when Mozart's family hears him playing music over the gap between the two boats, and they realize he's on the other one and get the captain to go do stuff.
Edited by sRAMrelevratopenCartoon from Prestel commercial Western Animation
I'm looking for a name of a cartoon briefly shown in a Prestel commercial. The commercial in question can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mipluyeX4Gs
and the cartoon clip appears around 28th second.
I'm not sure if it wasn't made just for the ad.
open2000-2010 anime-esque western cartoon airing in Britain Western Animation
Going to try be as accurate as possible (some details could be slightly wrong though!)
I saw the episode of the tv show around 2010-2012 on a British channel, unsure of which one but it was for kids/teenagers.
It was definitely a western animation but with an anime-esque design kind of like Martin Mystery- I thought that was a lead, turns it it wasn’t but I believe it is quite similar.
The episode from where I remember starts with the character at a canyon, looking down at a ravine, assumably a group of more than three- (this may be false memories but) I believe perhaps an older man who was a mentor character stayed at the top. One character gets down a dangerous way by jumping down falling boulders(?) and is reprimanded for it by presumably a female character.
(Now this I know for certain) the group are looking for/wanting to defeat a group of hypnotising dream spiders that put you in a sleep like trance. They get captured in the web of these dream spiders and are stuck in this dream like state, not sure if it ends on a cliffhanger or if I just had to go to bed but that’s all I remember up to.
openFootball Superhero Show Western Animation
All I remember about it was a group of teenagers who became football-themed superheroes and these weird head-things that were representatives of football teams. I think real-life football players also guest-starred in some of the episodes?
openA cartoon about a blonde boy, his friend, and the evil city ruler. Western Animation
The protagonist was a thin blonde boy, who had a friend that was red-skinned. (If I remember correctly, the friend was a male fictional animal.) The main antagonist was a sadistic city ruler who would try to torture his citizens. I remember that there was an episode where he had the protagonist fed mint ice cream. The protagonist didn't like it, so he had his citizens have it, assuming that they would dislike it as well.
There was a very short, dirty blond woman as well, who usually wore a dark red dress. She looked chibi-size even, even though she was drawn in a non-anime style.
openMovie with mouse and man made of fruit (SOLVED) Western Animation
There's this animated movie, probably made in the 2000s, that I feel the sudden need to look for.
IIRC it had a mouse as one of the main characters and there was a man made of fruit. His body was probably held together by magic and I think he was a some sort of genie before becoming a swashbucker and he might've died at one point. There was this scene where his fruit body is formed as well.
I also think that the mouse might’ve been part of a pirate crew at the beginning of the movie before getting lost in some kingdom.
Edited by Cutegirl920fireopenLEGO-like show Western Animation
There were 4 main characters (red, blue, yellow, green) who could turn into knights that transformed from lego-like bricks, and they could combine with other bricks to make new stuff. There was also a toyline that the show was promoting
Edit: It’s not an official LEGO product
Edited by BlueBlazesopen[Resolved] super logic scene in cartoon Western Animation
Trying to remember where this scene was from. The MC is surrounded by mooks on empty country road and does some JimmyNeutron-style Sherlock Scan in his head to piece together everything in the environment that could help in a fight. The logical connection looked like a star-chain.
It may be either Gerry Anderson's New Captain Scarlet or Generator Rex, at least it aired at the same time. Can't find it mentioned in either, so it's either episode-specific or neither of these.
Edited by AmonimusopenAnimated tv series about a group of kids who are insect superheroes Western Animation
The show aired around 2008-2010 The main character of the show was blonde and his superpower was a belt that let him shrink/grow. The show was named after him, like "Hex Hamilton" or something, but I've searched that and nothing came up. His outfit was red and white. There were about three or four people who made up the team - a guy with an extendable tongue (his outfit was green), a guy with dragonfly wings and the ability to shapeshift (his outfit was black, he had goggles too), and a girl (I don't really remember what her powers were, but her outfit was yellow themed). The show revolves around the characters coming of age (they're all teenagers) and them fighting supervillains in the city. I think the animation was done by a Canadian animation studio, I could be wrong though.
Edited by Massive-HistoryopenAn old movie from Cartoon network Western Animation
Good night, some years ago I watch an animated movie on cine cartoon from Cartoon network. In the beginning it's about these people who's house just got destroyed, they go on an adventure and nearing the end of the movie their all in a cave and there came a point where one of them used the heat from lava that was in the cave to reveal Hiden words on a piece of parchment paper. At the very end of the movie, as their rebuilding their house, one of them says "there's nothing more valuable than friendship" or something similar to that & as soon as he's finished saying it, the screen pans down, revealing a HUGE diamond underneath where their new house was being built. If by any chance ANYONE knows the name of the movie that would be great, thanks.
openMultiple Cartoons Western Animation
I hope you don't mind me asking about multiple cartoons in the same post, but I didn't want to ask multiple times in a row with different posts.
The first one was a show on Qubo about a superhero, but I can't remember their name. They had a red costume and I think an afro. The only episode I remember had a villain with a jelly donut obsession. (STILL UNRESOLVED)
The second one was about a girl who kept a bunch of animals in her house. The only other human character was her father. They could also talk to the animals. (SOLVED)
The last one was about sentient math symbols. It was 3D animated and very low budget. The characters were a plus sign, a minus sign, a multiply sign, and a division sign. (SOLVED)
Edited by BlueBlazesopenAnimation about toys? Western Animation
Hi, I'm looking for an animation. It may be a 3D/stop motion animation but I'm not 100% sure.
The main characters was a group of toys. In one scene, they needed to go to a bar for broken toys to get some info, so they pretended to be broken, one of them faked a broken arm. But they later got uncovered. Then in a later scene they got on a cart (or a train?) and the camera zoomed out to show a room full of Christmas decorations.
I used to watch Disney Channel a lot as a kid so maybe they aired it before, but then it may also be my local tv channels.
Thanks for the help. :)
openthree religious cartoons Western Animation
(I accidentally posted this in ask the tropers because I was in a hurry, pasting this here)
1) I remember seeing this show on Smile of a Child. It was realistically drawn/animated and I remember an episode being about a woman worrying if Jesus will forgive her since she's deemed a harlot.
2) In 2013 I saw a clip of another realistically drawn cartoon. It had to do with Jesus feeding the 5000 with bread and fish. But there was a young boy singing about how he was poor and didn't have much food.
3) Finally, I remember watching a cartoon (most likely made in the 80s-90s) about Adam and Eve. Eve had Godiva Hair to cover her body. To give you a gist of what the art style is like, it's sorta similar to Regular Show. EDIT: I identified this one! It's The Beginner's Bible, a videotape series.
Can anyone identify at least one of these shows?
Edited by Excelsior123resolved Animated show about healthy eating Western Animation
It aired in between shows as a short story, sometimes between commercials, circa 2007-2008 on Playhouse Disney before it was revamped into Disney Junior. I remembered this kid in a superhero costume who had promoted healthy eating. The one episode I remembered was about “supercharged spinach”, and the kid said it was just what he needed.
It was so long ago, and I couldn’t find any pages on it.
resolved Phineas and Ferb episode (solved) Western Animation
So I’m trying to find a Phineas and Ferb episode where Candace asks Phineas “what do you think you’re doing?” And Phineas replies “I think I’m building (insert invention) Is this a real episode?
Edited by Gamergirl101openUK TV Children's show hosted by a man dressed as a young boy. Western Animation
I remember a tv show I saw when I was young in the mid to late 90s which was hosted by a man dressed as a young boy in a house with oversized objects to make him look small. There were also other children who were members of the public which changed every week. They would watch cartoons together, mostly Looney Tunes, and then he would ask the children questions about the cartoon they watched so they could earn points. I remember after a few series the host was the same guy but had a different 'persona' and dressed differently.
I am pretty sure this was shown on BBC 2 on a morning. Not sure whether it was weekdays or weekends. Can anyone help?
Edited by Matt-In-The-BoxopenEpisode Of "Tracey McBean" where she turns her sister into a trash can by mistake? Western Animation
So, I recently learned about a super-obscure Australian animated TV show called "Tracey Mc Bean", which is about the exploits of the title character, who invents all sorts of crazy things.
Specifically, I learned about it through this comment on Dev Art: "I watch the episode after I saw this and it was really funny. p.s speaking of obscure animated Australian show have you heard about one called Tracey Mc Bean? it used to run on discovery kids and I remember in one ep she accidentally turned her sister into a wastepaper bin when trying to cure her sister's cold and in another she turned herself into an anthro dog."
I got curious and looked it up, only to find that Wikipedia had next-to-no info on it. There was a list of the episodes but there was no synopsis or anything, just the title. And the rest of the Internet was no better.
I was curious about the ep with the sister being transformed specifically, and for sake of easier look-up I assumed that that was the episode titled "Rubbish". Well, today I *finally* found info on "Rubbish"... and that's not the episode I want.
That was when I decided to give up and turn to YKTS. Does anyone know what episode that was? (Just to be clear, I only want to know about the ep with the trash can. I *could not care less* about the one with the dog.)
openCGI Short Show on Cartoon Network Western Animation
I remember there was this short show that popped up often during commercial breaks on Cartoon Network. During these occasions, the usual CN logo had a simplistic logo on its side that resembled a red cross, except blue.
The most memorable thing to me about this show of sorts was the style. I did notice at the time that the show wasn't stop-motion at all, but the style, particularly the main character, always reminded me of the film ParaNorman.
He looked a lot like Norman, save for a few things: He had some slight bagging on his eyes, and generally he seemed a lot less "colorful" if that amkes sense. His shirt was striped with white and black lines.
All the shorts I saw took place in the daylight.
Speaking of the shorts themselves, there is one that I remember clearly, at least the ending of it.
I'd guess that at the beginning of this short, the main character would be doing some kind of science experiment. That's what I think I remember, but again I really can't be sure.
It's the usual thing; the protagonist was using some desks and containers to mix chemicals. There was probably a plant pot, and this leads into the thing I remember the most about all of this.
Out of the pot comes a giant venus flytrap, and it's hungry. Pretty hungry. What happens next was both shocking to me at the time, yet still predictable.
The venus flytrap proceeds to eat the protagonist alive. Now, the protagonist doesn't stay dead forever - this being a short show with no actual continuity - neither there was any actual gore or anything explicitly inappropriate for the network's audience.
I can't tell if the plant ate the poor dude entirely or not.
Hope I can get some help. Any questions, I'm willing to answer 'em.
Edited by FeijaoVerdeopenAnimated Shorts about a Cat (ANSWERED) Western Animation
This is a show I remember seeing episodes of on Treehouse TV in the mid-2000s. Well, not so much a full blown TV show as a series of shorts. Anyways, it was about a cat (I believe it was a manx cat) who travels the world, having adventures in different countries with different animals (one episode I remember had him in India befriending a cobra). If I remember correctly, it wasn't so much animated as it was watercolor illustrations narrated over by somebody. It may or may not have been adapted from an actual children's book series, but if it was, I have never come across those books.
