open[Solved] Looking for a webcomic that was kinda Roger Rabbit Webcomic
I'm looking for a webcomic that was kind of like Who Framed Roger Rabbit but not exactly so. I've forgotten the title of it, so finding it is almost impossible without it.
Here's what I remember. It follows a group of humans and toons who work at a "cartoon" studio. In this web comic's universe, cartoons aren't animated by being drawn because cartoon toon characters somehow exist naturally, enough so that they can actually breed with humans (in fact, one of the main characters is a cartoon-human hybrid, giving her a unique appearance). Instead, "cartoons" are filmed with only cartoon characters with special sets.
One of the reoccurring themes of the webcomic was how standards and practices affect the industry. This is a very old webcomic, taking place around 2005 to 2010. As such, homosexuality wasn't as widely accepted at this time as it is today. So another element was that one of the main characters had to keep her lesbian relationship a secret in order to maintain her child-friendly image. (I know, this sounds ridiculous nowadays, but we're talking about a different time).
Here are the characters I remember in the comic.
There's this very old cartoon character who was big in the early 30's or something to that effect. He was a monkey and after earning a lot of money as a star, eventually created his own studio, which has been in business in one form or another. This is the studio that the webcomic takes place in.
The old cartoon character married a cartoon cat that was about ten or twenty years younger than him (I forgot the specific ages, but the point is there's an age difference). They had two kids, one of them was the closeted lesbian I mentioned earlier, the other was a monkey that looked more like his father than his sister did. He's under a lot of pressure to work on a reboot of the cartoons that his father was in. He's not happy about this but feels like he can't let his father or the studio down.
There was also the human-cartoon hybrid I mention earlier. The best way I can describe her is a very thick, curvy short stack. This means she isn't "kid-friendly" enough for modern cartoons, so she can only work in the background, like set design and stuff.
There were a few other characters but they aren't as important to the plot.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Edited by IndigoJackopenEarly 2000s on British TV Webcomic
I vaguely remember it being set in a lighthouse, or maybe a port town, and the main character either lived in the lighthouse or near it, and the supporting cast were either monsters or robots that lived with the MC, nobody I talk to remembers it and I feel like I’m going insane
openManhwa Reverse Harem with Guys in Maid Dresses Webcomic
Late last year, I came across this manhwa online. Basically, there was this woman with long brown hair who inherited a ton of money, a large estate, and somewhere around 5-7 male maids who now work for her. The first page has a panel of the girl sitting on a couch with all the men surrounding her wearing maid dresses. This manhwa doesn't really have a plot, and just focuses on the daily happenings of the woman living in her new house. One of the male maids is a guy named Edward who is a Long Haired Pretty Boy (his hair is black). There's also one Dark Skin Blonde guy who typically wears a black shirt, a dirty blonde hair guy (who is the only one who continuously wears a maid dress), and a shorter guy who typically wears short shorts with his outfit. Does anyone remember the title of this work? If anyone can find it, I would greatly appreciate it.
openForgotten Manhua/Manhwa Webcomic
I’m trying to find a Manga, I only know a certain scene of it.
“The was a student reunion and everyone was invited there was a poor boy, a rich arrogant boy, and a rich lady. The rich boy tries to insult to poor boy to impress the rich lady but he got drunk and embarrassed himself. Later on into the party the girl got a call from her father tell her that her group work in biomedical or whatever it’s bio something has been suspended and she tries to convince her father to buy her more time so he did. But at the same time to poor boy overheard her conversation with her father. Later she came out of the bathroom and returned to the party and the rich boy approach her all drunk so the poor boy dragged the rich girl away and walked her out to the garage. When he confronted her about how his small group of team has perfected bio something saying that he wants to work with her she got angry and say how much it cost and the amount of time it would take and the money goes into it to create it. But she refused and left without leaving any contact info. This is like in a apocalyptic world story.”
Edited by TeddysTropemasopenWebcomic about three authors Webcomic
There's three authors sitting at a table, at some sort of literary festival. The first two talk about the things they did to research their novels. One novel was set on a ranch (I think?), so the author lived and worked on an actual ranch. One author grew up on a vineyard (I think), so they wrote their experiences into their novel. The third author, who wrote a novel called something like "The Literary Festival Murders", is sitting quietly and saying nothing.

openWebcomic where a shapeshifter's transformation causes their death Webcomic
- SOLVED - THANK YOU EVERYONE! ***
So there was a trope - I think "shapeshifter backfire" and one of the works was a webcomic where a character is dies because she shifts into the form of a very dangerous character. The boy she was talking to tells her that copying the form of the dangerous character is the same as summoning them. One panel later he's covered in blood as his friends try too help him.
What was that webcomic???
Edited by TairaMaiopenPoem about reincarnation Webcomic
I saw this on tumblr a hot sec ago and I think it was a comic about Sasuke and Naruto. The thing I'm actually looking for is the poem that was the text which I think was an existing poem. It's basically about reincarnation and soulmates and what happens in their lives. I think it starts something like "the first time we meet you have blue eyes and you hate me" and at some point in the middle is a line like "sometimes we barely miss each other". Google and Tumblr searches are not helping. I would appreciate any leads
openLGBTQ+ scifi webcomic with psychic aliens Webcomic
Was wondering if anyone could help with this. It was a completed webcomic that I remember reading on Tapas (can't find it now) set in modern-day a few decades after an alien invasion, centered around a group of queer teenagers and a government agent - the main character was definitely called Quinn. The aliens themselves used psychic invasion techniques and everyone had to make sure they weren't opening their minds to them too much. They also played baseball a lot and some of the kids were in a band. It was overall an exploration of identity and mental health and it was so good! The art was black and white with a really bold line-style. I'd love to find it again, I think it concluded in around 2019 and I'm not sure if the author removed it from tapas or migrated it somewhere else.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
resolved Embarrassing but Empowering Outfit Webcomic
What comic (or webcomic) is the Embarrassing but Empowering Outfit image from? There's no source and it doesn't appear to be listed on the examples.
openFantasy Rock band comic? Webcomic
If i'm remembering this right, this was around 2014/2015. I remember reading a comic that centered around this like 17 y/o dude who had a mask that sent him to the demon realm? Some hellish dimension, where he turned into this big skeleton version of himself and 2 of the locals would play in a rock band with him. I think the second chapter featured the main dude discovering he had like laser powers? And the third was set in a mushroomy area where people insisted he was the hero set to save them. The tone was very light hearted, and it was plot driven. The art was fairly good, but not super impressive.
openDucks running hotel Webcomic
I remember back during the early years of this site (so a few years after 2004), a troper's forum ID linked to his webcomic, about a couple of ducks (male and female) running a creepy, enormous hotel with thousands of rooms, with a vibe a bit like Infinity Train or the island from Twelve Forever, that is, an infinitely old and mysterious location that's Bigger on the Inside. The hotel was a round building, a bit like the globe theater, but with lots of exposed pipes and vaguely steampunk-ish elements.
The artstyle wasn't too great, but it was polished - in color, clean pages, good fonts for the dialogue...
Edited by Mac_Ropen(Solved) Webcomic In-Universe Movie Webcomic
A group of Funny Animal characters are watching an In-Universe Sci-fi Movie. A character in the movie was a veteran of a war and has a stowaway kid on his ship who he thinks is pointing a squirt gun at him. It turns out to be a taser. Anyways shenanigans happen; he and the kid end up bonding and leading a second rebellion. The main character appears to die in a suicide attack, but it turns out he faked his death and then steals a colony ship. The main general antagonist ends up laughing hysterically. He was an Anti-Villain and stands in marked contrast to the swan/goose empress who's a textbook example of God Save Us from the Queen!.
The characters are watching the movie and are seen in silhouette and end up snarkily commenting on it, in vain of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Edit: Found it, it's the rebel cry arc from Nip and Tuck
Edited by jjjj2openApology without knowing the offense Webcomic
I'm pretty sure it was in some webcomic, but I lost the details.
What I remember is a male character apologizing to a female one because obviously he offended her in some way, but she rejects the apology because it's clear he has no idea what he's apologizing for, which makes the apology insincere in her eyes.
openTransgender webcomic Webcomic
I remember a webcomic with black-and-white animesque art, the main character was female-to-male transgender, and the comic opens with him talking to his doctor about how his hormone therapy was affecting him (I remember him explicitly stating how he now has an urge to eat everything), with the doctor reassuring him that it's all normal. Those were the first couple of pages.
One last tidbit, which might be a red flag due to me remembering wrong, was that the main character later becomes a werewolf as well.

openFantasy webcomic that I was pleasantly surprised by Webcomic
A looong while ago I stumbled upon a webcomic that I accidentally stumbled into, and found myself enjoying it way more than I thought. From what I recall about the main plot, the story follows some kind of monster hunter in a setting where certain non-human groups are considered monsters (they aren't particularly bestial looking, more like humans with some animalistic features). There's also these witches in the narrative that survive by taking over the bodies of other women to stay immortal. For example, near the start of the comic there was a Forest/Nature/Wood Witch (who ended up getting killed by another witch, who she thought was a friend), and in the webcomic's background, a Fire Witch did a lot of Evil Shit:tm: back in the story's history, but was as yet unseen.
I hate being this vague, but it's all I got. Oh, and I remember LOTS of the "beast" people all having orange hair. LOTS OF ORANGE HAIR. The main character man apparently has regrets about a lot of the "monsters" he's killed.

TW: suicide self harm mention
my friend told me about a webcomic, possibly a Manhwa, in which there is little to no dialogue, and there is a girl who is either suicidal, or has ideation of sucide. And there is this formless creature watching her.
Its implied that the formless creature represents the reader and how they are a passive participant in this woman's pain.
lol a light one. thank you.
openmanga with comet/metiorite Webcomic

open[SOLVED] Urban fantasy webcomic about personified celestial bodies? Webcomic
Urban fantasy webcomic I originally read on Tapastic (now Tapas). Protagonist is a woman with white hair who is actually a personified comet and is searching for other celestials like herself. Seeks out a witch who grants wishes in exchange for a certain price and ends up working for her. Buddy with a man who wears a helmet 24/7. Antagonist is a massive suit of armour called "The Queen", who is actually a personified black hole. The witch's house is an extra-dimensional hotel/bar with a classy vintage glamour placed on it and anyone who enters. Can connect freely to other parts of the world via appearing/disappearing doors. There was a skeleton mob boss at some point I think? Protagonist has nightmares about a thing with lots of teeth?
Don't remember any names whatsoever, unfortunately, and haven't been able to track it down. Not even sure it's still hosted on Tapas, or if it's updating, but I'd like to try and find it again. Thanks!

For the comic, I only vaguely remember one scene and one character, but no names. The character I remember had black hair, different colored eyes, and a wolf tail. He normally wore pants, a shirt, and a vest over it. The scene was the young girl he was protecting ran away to try and make it on her own after an argument with him. He also flirted with a fox character. I used to always find the link off of the site from the comic Off White, but that's been taken down since and I no longer have it bookmarked as my old computer is completely fried.
