openComedy show with asian girl in dress and man in cow suit, parodies children shows Web Original
This show I believe was available on Crackle in the late 2000s to early 2010s, though I may be wrong. The show featured a wheel similar to the Wheel of Fortune wheel, and there was an asian girl with black hair, 2 pony tails sticking out of the hair, and a blue/pink dress, and a man in a cow suit with a little bit of facial hair. I can't remember what it was called, though it was only a very tiny bit similar to The Upside Down Show in a few episodes, only except it's American and geared towards adults.
openOld Gaia Online-esque Avatar Site, probably long gone, where you could choose your avatar's race? Web Original
I remember back in 2006 or 2007 there was a Gaia Online-esque avatar website, the thing was you could choose your avatars race, such as human, elf, I believe neko, etc, and hairstyles were race restricted (either that or they removed the ears, I remember asking in a feedback forum to make a certain hairstyle available to nekos). I think there were also RPG elements, or they planned on adding RPG elements, either way, it was very focused on establishing a world and setting and put emphasis on the roleplaying aspect moreso than social networking. There may have also been music, but I think I might have got it confused with another site. It's probably long gone by now. I think I remember that the avatars faced perfectly straight forward, not 3/4 like Gaia and its many other imitators.
edit: it's possible it's Solia Online, but the dates don't line up, Solia started in 2008 and this was 2007 at the very latest, but maybe I'm misremembering.
Edited by ninjamitsuki2openWeird series of Paper Mario "animations" Web Original
A series of videos I used to watch way back in the early days of Youtube was named something like "The Real Paper Mario 3", and it was a very bizarre crossover between Kingdom Hearts and Paper Mario. Basically it was a clip show showcasing Mario going through different Disney Worlds, using a combination of MS Paint and Sprites (The Disney characters used the artstyle of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories).
I also remember that ocassionally, besides Mario, Mickey and the world's main character, an extra character would join the party. I specifically remember Kirby being on Agrabah, Cloud on the Olympus Colosseum (like in the game), Sponge Bob in Atlantica and the author's self-insert, who I recall being called "Ricardo" and being a fat guy with a top hat and a hammer, in Halloween Town. I have vague memories of Donald and Goofy, alongside the Thousand Year Door party members, were there, but I can't say for sure.
The creator's name was Ricardo and a series of numbers and letters as it was back in the day, and I remember there was another video from his own that was also in a similar style called "The Real Kingdom Hearts 3", which was also a crossover between Disney and Nintendo. It must have been from 2006-2007 because I am well-aware this was made before Super Paper Mario was released, as I lost track of this series once it was (given how it was the REAL Paper Mario 3).
Also it was not The Untold Stories of Paper Mario.
openFlash cartoon about a contract killer Web Original
A flash cartoon where a contract killer runs into an old friend in a public setting - it may have been a high school reunion, at very least it was a crowded bar. Anyway, once the old friend finds out what the assassin does for a living, he keeps trying to convince him to kill a random guy across the room right then and there. Eventually he gives in and just nonchalantly shoots the guy - the friend complains that he didn't do that cool sideways gun thing. I think it was satirizing the kind of thing where, say, you're a professional artist and an old acquaintance who barely interacted with you at the time finds your work online and now wants you to draw an elaborate tattoo design as a favor. Assassins and high school reunions might make one think of Grosse Point Blank, but this was definitely a flash cartoon and not a live action movie scene.
openSome weird game... Web Original
In this game you go around killing as many people as possible, as far as it goes it's pretty distinctive in art style, it has several sequels and a number of walkthroughs on You Tube, but I can't remember the name to go with the gameplay. I humbly beseech you all to help me find this game.
openA web series about geeks standing in line for a movie premiere Web Original
I vaguely recall watching (many years ago) a YT series (I think) about geeks standing in line for the next movie in their favorite franchise, and by "standing", I mean they arrive on the evening before the premiere and stand there all night. The main character has all his geek stuff, like action figures and such, in a bag, and then something happens and he gives his ticket to another person, then trades away all his action figures with other people in the line to get that person into the premiere. The ending sees him sitting in front of the theater, and then the technician who belittled him earlier, tells him he can come in and watch the movie from the projector room.
openWitch Dressup Girls Go Game? Web Original
I know there are tons of flash "witch dress up games" out there but I remember this one being different. It had lots of mini games that would help you unlock outfit items for your witch character. I specifically remember a "match three" falling candy game, a game where you create a tiny decorative hat, and one where you chose three different bath bombs and the combination would unlock a new clothing item. I'm fairly certain it was a Girls Go Games game, because I remember there was an option to take a picture of your character (along with the game host npcs) on halloween backgrounds and share it on your account. I'm suddenly super nostalgic and really want to find it, but it seems to be deleted from the website. Did it originate from a different website? I can't be the only one here who played this game?
openMario Brothers Mockumentary Web Original
When I was younger, I stumbled upon a video which was essentially a mockumentary on the Mario Brothers, which I remember being called something like the Mario Segale story, anyway one of the parts of the video had a section on Luigi in which he had a brief rap career, and had an affair with Ms Pacman, (which is the name of Pacman's female counterpart, although he insisted on the point that since she is Ms. Pacman and not Mrs Pacman, that those events were being misrepresented. Now, I can't find it, but perhaps you can?
openPseudo-fifties post-apocalypse Web Original
There was a web story where After the End there was a sort of safe Haven which was very Fifties with a breeding program, (Husbands have multiple wives and go to each family for a week at a time) and being super-racist (one of the characters has a Dark Secret of having Asian ancestry/heritage) POV was two teenagers 1 boy and 1 girl getting ready for the tests for their Bureaucratically Arranged Marriages.
Anyone recognize it?
openHaunted Soda Found Fooage Web Original
There was a internet video a long time ago of a dark room with a lot of soda cans inside. Somewhere still in packaging and stacked neatly, others were scattered on the floor. The camera was very unstable and the filmer was stumbling around in the dark. At one point the camera turns around to see a soda can floating through the air toward the camera. T He camera veers to the left before the video ends.
The description says something about "My body has been possessed by [soda brand]", but the title wasn't very descriptive. It may have just been numbers. There might also have been one or two parts before this video of similar footage.
Thanks.
openFanfiction of My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic Web Original
A short story fanfiction: Pinkie Pie and Rarity share a hot tub, Pinkie Pie is in there to soothe her tummy ache from eating too much black licorice, and only too late does Rarity notice the "Out of Order" sign. When Rarity realizes exactly where the bubbles are coming from, she has a Freak Out and gets hauled away in a straitjacket. I'm pretty sure I read it on fimfiction.net
Seven bumps and counting...
Edited by Miss_DesperadoopenA creepy animated short about an "idol" that turns objects to random other objects Web Original
I remember everything about the short except for the title quite vividly. Two children, a boy and a girl, kill a rabbit and find an idol inside—a snarling goblin that shoots bolts that turn objects into other objects. (The idol is labeled "Idol", as every object or creature is labeled in the short.) The kids find that the idol loves jam and turns flies into diamonds and feather quills, and so feed it all the jam they can and slaughter a cow in order to attract plentiful flies.
This naturally ends poorly when the idol (IIRC) is eaten by a rabbit, and its effects all change—the feather quills turn to fly wings, while the flies turn back to normal, and in anger swarm and kill the children (somehow).
I know I saw it on You Tube but that friggin' title evades me...
open3D Animated Cat Series Web Original
I remember seeing a clip of what seemed to be a 3d web series with a purple cat-like creature that wore a mask that changed expressions. Does anyone know what it is?
openMiniclip game, grey man puzzle game Web Original
I played this on miniclip. You were a grey block guy, and you had to do different puzzles to get vhs clips. There were two games I think, and at least on of them had the clips. A lot of the puzzles had you walking in a certain way to light up tiles different colors to open doors. The video clip showed a woman who was either sick or crazy, and a man in her life leaving her. I can’t find the game on miniclip anymore, so it may no longer exist.
openLooking For A Fanfiction Web Original
I recall reading a long time ago on fanfiction.net a Ranma 1/2 fanfic where the premise was that Ranma was attached to a doll he called Chise IIRC and treated as if it was a real person. I don't remember the name, so if someone could tell it to me I'd much appreciate it.
openInternet Mario Series Web Original
I remember very little, though I remember it being multiple parts. Mario was traveling through time (space?) I think by using F.L.U.D.D and was visiting various other game universes while doing it. I believe a whole episode was dedicated to The Wrecking Crew video game.
The main thing I do recall is his catchphrase was “Who the hell are you?”, and I believe at one point he met himself, who responds with “Who the hell does it look like?” Not sure if I saw this on You Tube, Newgrounds, or one of those older video sharing sites.
openshow with unexpected endings?? Web Original
there’s this show i watched on netflix back in 2015 i think. maybe a web series? in one episode there’s this guy who hears a ringing sound coming from his apartment so he pretty much tore his whole apartment up trying to find where it’s coming from. at the end of the episode, after he pretty much drove himself crazy, a bug flies out of his ear
Edited by innerwaveopenWebsite analyzing X-Files fanon? Web Original
It was this website that I thought was called Infrequently Asked Questions but I've googled that name heaps of times and not found anything relevant. It was taking a bunch of things that come up in Fan Works related to The X-Files and seeing if they gelled with Canon. Examples of text:
Q: Mulder home-nurses Scully when she's unwell?': A: Unlikely. Scully usually nurses herself unless it's serious enough to warrant a hospital visit.'' Q: Mulder phones Scully in the middle of the night? A: This is not likely to be a regular occurrence. When Muldre phoned Scully at nighttime in one episode, she seemed surprised that he was calling. Q: Mulder is a terrible shot?: ''A: Actually, Mulder is a great shot. He sleeps with his gun under his pillow, but then again, he wouldn't be Muldre if he didn't do that.\

It was an AMV of the Prince of Egypt from maybe 7 or more years ago that, if I reacll correctly was actually good but it seems to have been taken down from Youtube. The song was Pieces of a Dream by Anastacia.
